After 7 years, Tokio Hotel finally returned to the U.S. for a tour, and they did not disappoint! Playing only small venues, this is the first concert I've ever been close enough to actually SEE the band. Not just a musical performance, the show was enhanced by a graphics and light show as well as several costume changes by Bill Kaulitz. Twin brother Tom showed his multi-tasking skills on guitar, keyboards, sound board, and kettle drums. Although the show emphasized their latest album, they still performed many hits from their previous works. In addition, many fans took advantage of various meet and greet options that allowed "up close and personal" access to the band. I am SO glad I was finally able to experience a Tokio Hotel concert.

I have been waiting since 2009 for Tokio Hotel to come to Boston and boy was it worth the wait. All the guys were energetic and happy to perform. The crowd was excited and the show was amazing! Bill's costumes were amazing and even though they could not use all the effects since it was a smaller venue it was still awesome! It was a great night and even though I'm not a fan of standing concerts this was one of the best concerts I've seen this summer.

The concert was AMAZING!!! If you are a huge Tokio Hotel fan like myself it will be the best night of your life! I've waited 5 years to see them in concert and drove 3 hours to see them in Cleveland, OH and it was so worth it! Bill puts on a great show I loved all his outfit changes and the energy at the concert was great. They played some of their old songs as well as the Feel It All songs and of course Monsoon! The House Of Blues venue is great because I got to be so close to the stage I was about 3rd row back, Tom played right in front of me! My husband, who is not a huge fan but came because of me even enjoyed it. I got the "skip the line" tickets but didn't really need them because we didn't go in until after we ate at the HOB and half way through the 2nd opening act so everyone was already in at that point. The only benefit to the skip the line tickets is that you get a $20 food voucher.

By far the best show i have seen. The lights, the music- everything about it was perfect. The musical arrangements were my favorite. I loved the energy of the band, and how much fun they are having up there. I did not want it to end, and came out wanting more! we danced and had an amazing time <3

Got these tickets for my daughter and friends who loved Tokio Hotel as teenagers and have waited seven years for them to come back to the stage in the US, They all enjoyed the hell out of this concert and came home raving about it! So, all was great!

I've been a fan for 2 years now since the Humanoid album. When I saw that they were coming to Philly I immediately bought tickets. The venue was small compared to where they normally play in Europe. I had VIP seats on the venue so I did not have to stand up all night. Tokio Hotel was amazing!!!! I am glad I was able to go. I can't wait to see them again.

The show started an hour late and the two opening bands were definitely not the best in my opinion. However, once Tokio Hotel came out, the night became amazing! They opened with Girl Got a Gun and basically sang every song on their latest album, if not all (I didn't keep track---I was having too much fun!). Anywho, they also sang Automatic as well as other songs from the Humanoid album, and they sang Rescue Me as well as Monsoon, which was a great flashback. Monsoon never gets old! They ended their encore with Great Day. Definitely the best night ever!

I had the best time. I was able to go VIP, which made it even better. Every performance was perfect. I didn't have the best spot, and could hardly see the guys, but I managed to, off and on. I can't pick an absolute favorite song, from this show. They all were great. I was squished, warm, sweaty. But it was one of the absolute best times of my life. I only wish the concert had lasted longer. But then there was the m&g and q&a. It was really nice to see the guys in a more casual, intimate setting. They are really sweet and down to earth. And funny, as well. It was so great to have my picture taken with them. I will never forget it.

The suspense was overwhelming, but when Tokio Hotel took the stage the evening was on fire. They rocked out every song. Detroit Rock City got a real gem of a night with Tokio Hotel rocking out the entire night. Lights were amazing, sound was pitch perfect and the energy of Bill was awesome. Everyone jumped all night long. Sad to see you go Bill please come back soon.

I haven't seen a show this great in a long time! Everyone was on their feet jumping, and dancing! Sound was amazing! Light show was like nothing I have ever seen! Bill's dance moves are unbelievably sexy as he rocks out to the songs. The rest of the guys were great, too, playing different instruments, and jumping around.

Aside from being smushed between insanely tall fans, I had the best time of my life. Been a huge fan of the band for many years now and finally getting to see them preform was unforgettable. I'll never regret spending so much to see them! I can't wait for them to come back so I can do it all over again!

Last time I saw Tokio Hotel was at a Signing in Houston, Texas AND IT WAS AMAZING!!! Second one in line unfortunately and was there from 8AM lol... Signing wasn't until 5PM. Well anyways, I went to their concert also in Houston, Texas and it was also AWESOME!!! I had to hold myself onto the rails and girls kept pulling my hair! but nope! and I got to blow Bill Kaulitz a kiss and he smiled. anyways... that was back in 2009... Now I do think they have changed too much :/ and their music isn't the same. BUT I still love them!!! =) Tokio Hotel FAN till the end!

Tokio Hotel came to Maplewood Minnesota August 16th 2008. and they totally ROCKED the Myth Nightclub. There were soooo many people there, that the line went all the way out of the parking lot, and it was completely crowded. You could just feel the excitement of all the fans who got to see their favorite german band ever! The venue was great, and the show was mindblowing, and I cant even bearly remember the opening song 'Break Away' when the huge Tokio Hotel flag came off the stage. I think I blacked out from excitement. :P the concert was totally epic, and I would LOVE to see Tokio Hotel come back to Minnesota and rock our stages again! It was probably the best performance the Myth Nightclub had ever seen. it was an awesome experiance for me, being that it was my first concert and it was honestly the best day of my life.

I have seen tokio hotel in concert twice, and they are pretty good. They were actually my first concert. My favorite was actually the Electric Factory Concert in Philadelphia. Ahh i still remember it to this day. Front Row, right in front of bill! ^_* I am not so sure of the band now, they have changed alot... Not looking forward for a humanoid american tour.

*late reveiw it was like a year or two ago now* oct/30/08 Roseland Ballroom. It was a good show but its one of the shows where you would really only have the most fun in the front to be honest I only liked it cos it was tokio hotel and I was a HUUGE fan but Bill did'nt have as much energy as I thought he is only interactive with the people that are really up front, I was more towards the front too but yeah I do admit I was excited when he smiled at me *he noticed me cos I had to stand on something cos in front of me there was some dude in his mid 50's that was like 6'2 lol*. However I dont like the fact that Bill and georg were the first to run off stage and to my suprised gustav and tom were the last to leave and used up all the water bottles on us and threw picks and sticks *I almost got Gustavs drum stick which he threw at me clearly cos he made eye contact but there were some teenage boys bigger than me of course cos im a girl and I was caught in the middle and they started fighting for it so I obviously give up!* overall the performance was average but I give 4 starts cos of my excitement

I've been a tokio hotel fan for a long time now. Last year, I went to one of their concerts in philly with my friend. It was trully one of the most amazing nights of my life. Here are some reasons why you should go: First, the fans are awesome, they are so supportive and friendly. I remember when I was in the crowd and we were waiting for Tokio Hotel to come out, 2 fans held my hand because I was nervous of being trampled. (It wasn't creepy at all haha (:) Secondly, the guys (Bill, Tom, Georg, and Gustav) CLEARLY care so much about their music. (AND THE FANS) I think this is what makes them so fantastic live. They don't just make it some concert. They make it so much more. A night to remember for the rest of your lives. So if Tokio Hotel is ever coming to a city near you... go to their concert, because its totally worth it! 2 of 2 found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you?
