Toughest Monster Truck Tour

Had a great time. It goes by quick too so by the time you ve got your fill of monster trucks the show is over. I enjoyed the head-to-head races the most, but there are a variety of events (e.g., freestyle) to mix things up. Definitely recommemd experiencing at least once.

This monster truck show was one of the best I have been to for a small arena. We drove 4 hours & it was very worth the trip. Trucks got huge air!

Show was 1hr 50 min. Between the intermission and all the talking and setups there was MAYBE an hour of show and probably 30 min of actual monster trucks. As usual the arenas are SO SMALL that the trucks can t really do anything big like we have come to expect after watching them on cable in Las Vegas and other big arenas.

Great show -- just not enough room for trucks to run, etc.

We took are son for his 11th b-day with 3 friends as you can guess they all talk all the time and are hyper but when we got there and the 1st truck fired up they didn;t say a word the rest of the time just sat and watched they had a great time and they want to go back and we all had a great time not just the kids thanks for a good show

I felt that there could have been more trucks or a more diverse line up of vehicles. I didn't quite feel that I got my money's worth for what I saw.

My 4 boys give it 2 thumbs up! They said it was AWESOME!!

I took my 4 year old son my 10 yr old nephew and they had a absolute blast the pit passes were super cool and the drivers were all real nice.. seats were fantastic and the show the trucks put on was phenomenal!!

Drivers were friendly and social. Put on a great show.

It has been a really long time since I had been to one of these... The arena was small but it was welcoming and we did get excellent seats to be up close.... My husband complained that they did not have enough room to do what they were capable of doing, which I see his point. Tho for what they did do I felt it was worth it! He's sometimes hard to get to let loose... And here the speakers asked for crowd participation he gave in some and it was nice to see. I enjoyed myself regardless. The area we live in has nothing close by so them offering this was a treat!

Great show at The Dow. Great crowd, very engaged. Monster trucks were awesome. Drivers went out of their way to create great photo ops. Waving at the crowds as they drove by. Very appreciative of their fans. Lots of Monster action, great vertical hang time!! All the trucks were great. Big surprise was the appearance of three terrific Motocross bike riders, who gave a great show. Spectacular free style jumps.

A well run, reasonably priced show. Happy that they put dirt down. It made all events more exciting! My 5 year old daughter and I can't wait until they come back.

This was my daughter's second show and my 3 year olds first show. He was very excited and we couldn't leave our home soon enough to get there as he was constantly telling us time to go we have to leave. The seats we purchased were in a great spot. We were able to see all 6 monster trucks. The motorcycle show was spectacular and my son couldn't stay seated he enjoyed it so much. We were able to see every bit of it from our seats. My daughter loved the trucks and is a dirt bike rider herself so kept asking if she'd be able to do the stunts when she got bigger. My wife and I were very pleased with the whole show and just to see the look on our kids faces as the trucks jumped and crushed was the best part of the show. Will definitely check out another show.

I took my son and my buddy and his son and we were blow away..Covelli Center is small and they put on one heck of a show..not just the trucks..the bikes and robot..Kids loved it! If you have not experienced the monster truck show its on you.. bring ear plugs! It is a cheap as it gets for a great time..There is not a bad seat..anywhere..This is my first rating ever but had to..

Would def go again!! It was awesome my kid had a blast and so did i!! This was the perfect family date!

My son loved the show. He enjoyed seeing the huge Bigfoot 5 as well as the car devouring dinosaur.

The contents of the show were great...loved the smart car and megasaurus...got to meet the drivers BUT the arena was entirely too small. Every time the drivers would lay on the gas they'd also have to slam on the breaks.

Great times only thing I wish was the arena space was bigger so the trucks aren't as limited.

The toughest monster truck show was awesome and at no point was I bored. My 5 year old loved the whole show. His favorite was the motocross. For sure going again next year. It's a must see!

My children (ages 5&6) and I greatly enjoyed this Toughest Monster Truck Rally. The floor in Landers center is actually a bit larger than the FedEx Forum and the trucks are able to jump higher and farther. The only down side is that since the ceiling is lower you are subjected to more exhaust fumes than other venues I've seen.

Total waste of time and money! 10 dollars to park, 10 dollars to eat a small burger and fries, and 3 dollars for a 20oz bottle of soda. Then the show itself was very SLOW and not very entertaining. Paying over $100 for my family of 4 to watch 6 trucks who were slow and all afraid of breaking something was not fun at all. The robot was slow and had fire coming from the mouth was a waste of time. The golf cart with a jet engine was also not that great. It was cool for a second but that's about it. I give credit to the drivers, I am sure it is tough to drive such a big truck, but When I go to a show, I expect to be impressed. Do your self a favor and take your family to a movie and get popcorn. Stay away from the toughest Monster Truck Tour!!!!!!!

The Alerus Center is so unorganized to manage big crowds. When we went there for the Jurassic quest it was insane the amount of time we had a wait in line. Also having to wait a long time in line for the pit party and to get food they need to have more people helping to get people served in a more timely fashion . Very hard to keep kids from getting crabby when waiting in line for over 30 min to get in.

I would go to an event like this every year if I'm able to. Was a little confusing while waiting in line for pit party as the line was blocking the main building entrance so people coming in had to shuffle through the line to get in. Drivers were very friendly and signed autographs and took pictures with everyone that wanted to.

When I purchased the tickets it looked like we would be sitting farther up per the virtual map. We were two rows from the Monster Trucks and the kids loved it.

Building was way too small and only 6 trucks participated. The only really good thing was the intermission show with the moto cross riders - they were awesome!

It was a pretty interesing show. 2 trucks broke. One flipped over in front of us. Don't think they live up to the name. On the bright side, if they didn't have the motor cross guys the show would be very boring!!

It was a fun time!! All were welcomed a great crowd , not a bunch of drunks or trouble makers, awesome venue close to the action, the Motorcycle show was as good as the trucks, can t wait till next time

We bought the tickets to take our grandkids thinking it would be so exciting for all of us to enjoy together. All of us were less than impressed. You know an event is just a little boring when the oldest grandson looks at you 30 minutes in and says "I'm ready to go home" and Grandpa finds Facebook more entertaining. The best part of the event was the motorcyles, that is the only thing the kids talked about on the way home.

Silverstein is a nice facility although the typical overpriced event food and drinks was expected. Seats were great anywhere for this event although a little snug. The Monster truck show was pretty lame, too much time filled with talking. Not enough action although the motorcross bikes were fun to see. Wont hold my breath or plan on buying tickets next year.

We bought good seat since it was our 5 kids first time to the monster truck show and and got moved cuz they sold us seat they had covered if I would of know that I would of just paid the 12 for them nd not all most $400 we will never go back there for a show not to mentioned they froze us out it was so freaking cood.

The Toughest Monster Truck Tour puts together hands-down the most challenging and entertaining tracks possible, maximizing the space in several smaller venues which typically are not able to support great racing and freestyle action due to their space limitations. The line-ups are usually top-notch independents, and if a truck should fail on a Friday night for example, they are consummate professionals at booking a replacement for a full complement on Saturday. The only complaints from this 30+ year monster truck fan involve the removal of qualifying laps to determine seeding for racing as this is a greater test of driver skill than the freestyle portion, and the repetitiveness of the FMX side-show. Many of us would much rather see a return to using stadium arena or tough trucks during monster cool-down time to get the competitive juices flowing. The younger generation may enjoy the motorcycle tricks, but for the old schoolers it's more an opportunity to stretch our legs. Overall though, the TMT does a phenomenal job keeping the event moving on schedule, putting together great line-ups, challenging tracks, big air, and a great night for their fans. Would definitely recommend!

I took my grandsons ages 2 & 7. This is a wonderful family outing. The show was well put together, organized with very little wasted time. Great show!

Took my kids and wife to the Toughest Monster Truck tour for the first time ever and had an absolutely amazing time. I d recommend the show to anyone that is into loud big trucks

Maybe it was because it was our first time going in a Friday or maybe Monster Jam just wasn t putting their best foot forward for Lafayette but it just wasn t what it used to be. It used to be so exciting and fun and this yr it was just meh. The drivers were playing it safe and the dome was half empty when before you used to have to purchase tickets months in advance to get a good seat. Hopefully next time we will go on a Saturday like we used to and since it s their last performance day, the drivers will show off a little more!

With the ticket prices of this event, I assumed it would be similar to Monster Jam. My 7 children were very disappointed in the performance as they compared it to Monster Jam. It was just a couple of trucks jumping 2 hills and then a local guy riding a wheelie on a mini dirt bike. Will will definitely choose Monster Jam instead of this venue next time.

We had a great time & had great seats! My only complaint is, we paid extra for pit passes and no one was guarding the entrance. The pit was overcrowded and I spoke to many people that told me they just walked right in and didn t have a pit pass. A little frustrated that I paid extra that I thought was a privilege when I purchased. But indeed was a free for all.

This was my son s first experience with a monster truck show and he changed his opinion of the favorite truck. He s now a huge Bigfoot fan!

I have taken my boys the past 3 years to see the Toughest Monster Truck Tour and we have loved it every single time!! You guys do such a wonderful job!

Great time with my son. We go every year. And this year was amazing.

I took my 5 year old son and we both had a great time. A lot of action and some other cool events. Overall job well done for the price.

This space is to small for this event. My son is four and had hearing protection on and it was still to loud. I paid $135 for 3 tickets and had to leave within 10 mins of the show.

For every 1 minute of truck you get 10 minutes of some poor guy trying to talk and kill time. Then another poor guy trying to kill time riding wheelies on a moped. Either coordinate the thing better or get something better than paint drying to fill the time. My 6 year old even got bored, we and half the place left about half way through.

Whole evening was a loss. It was a total waste of time.

This show was great, we would definitely go again.

My 3 year old kept saying it was too loud but the amount of entertainment by the monster trucks far outweighed that facor...he is still smiling & talking about his "Monsta Trucks".

This was my first time ever going to a monster truck show. There was definitely a variety of competitions for the trucks to perform. There were a few surprises, but I won't spoil it for you. Give them a try when them come to your town.

Too much down time, not a lot of entertainment as the Monster Jam. Would not go again to this event.

The show was awesome for our entire family. The adults and kids loved the show. We will definitely be back next time the show is in time.

I have been attending monster truck shows for more than 30 years and this show may be the best arena show I have seen. How entertaining a monster truck show is depends on the personality of the drivers. Are they willing to take chances and push the truck or do they shy away from any move that may risk damage to the truck? Most of the drivers at this show were willing to do whatever it took to put on a good show. There were one or two that clearly did not want to have to do anything beyond washing their truck to get it ready for next week s show. Again, most were aggressive. The very first truck out for the first event, wheelies, rolled on his first hit. He went one to roll again in freestyle. The only weak event is racing, but only because of the small floor. I had seen all of the trucks that were at this show previously, either in person or in video. They are all well-known trucks, even the not so aggressive ones. I would definitely recommend this show, especially with this particular lineup of trucks.

Great Show enjoyed the smart car but my son missed the 4-wheel racing and bikes.

Pure family entertainment. Our group included 4 years old to 65 years old and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

We've taken our grandkids to monster truck shows every year for about 4 years but this was amazing!!! Our 2 year old granddaughter had the most fun I think, just entertaining fun for our family! Well worth the cost, almost 2 straight hours of fun

My only regret was I didn't make the pit party with the rest of my family. I was busy at work.

We had a fantastic time. The show was great and the pit party was fun for the kids to see the trucks up close. I would definitely go again!!

The TMT tour is now in its sixth year and each time out they seem to improve. As someone who's been to hundreds of truck shows over the years, I appreciate their professionalism in keeping the show rolling while providing the most challenging courses possible within the limits of the buildings run. The only negative is the fact that the venues are a bit on the tight side, with no contracts at larger stadiums to this point, but that shouldn't keep you away. Racing is fast and furious often involving turning courses and freestyle results in air you would not expect possible in these smaller venues. In short, the team puts on an excellent production with some of the top established, and great up-and-comers in the business today. Looking forward to the next one!

Went to the pit party and the show it was great took my grandson and he thought it was so cool

This is a great family friendly and very affordable event. The Pit Party was a perfect addition to an already WOW event.

The trucks broke down like crazy... Even after a slightly off center landing. Food was VERY overpriced & the snow cone cups were inedible with the straw. You could not suck up the ice balls with the straw and they wouldn't give us a spoon to use.

The pit passes are definitely worth the $5. The only thing that made this score so low was how many of the trucks that broke down during show. We realize those things happen but in the end only 2 were still running.

The show was great. Even in the small arena. Lots of things to keep the kids entertained.

I was really impressed with the show overall. My four year old little boy LOVED it! We were able to go a couple of hours before the show to get autographs from the drivers and take pictures next to the trucks. The motocross stunt drivers were great as well. I think the show would have been even better in a bigger venue. This is the 40th anniversary of Bigfoot and he won the overall competition....great family show. Be sure to bring headphones for the kids and earplugs for yourself. It was extremely loud indoors.

We got tickets to this for my son's birthday. He had an ok time, but the arena was WAY too small for an event like this. The fumes from the trucks were pretty overpowering. The dirt bikes that came out and did their tricks were the best part of the show. Overall, it was ok.

Too small of a venue for this. They tried to do filler stuff like this transformer rather then monster truck stuff. Not worth the money!

The monster truck show was pretty good. Seats in the lower level were a little over priced in my opinion.

Having lived in Jacksonville Fl and seeing the Monster Truck event there for many years with the big name starts there. I was hoping for better at the Dow event center but the trucks had really no room to move and the racing and freestyle was poor at best. If this local event is all you can afford then it's alright but if you want to see a real monster truck event save your money and go to a stadium and make the memories worth it. Amaizing I tried to put in two stars but teh system won't let me but at 5 stars it will. some things make you say hhhmmm.

nice show, needs to have a few more trucks, maybe some bigger name trucks, real close to home, did not have drive 150 miles round trip, grandsons love the motorcycles more than the trucks and he is a big 4x4 truck fan watching every day on u tube.

Too small of an arena for monster trucks and there were only 5 trucks there. Disappointing

I did not attend the show, the tickets were purchased as stocking stuffers for Christmas. My Grandchildren could not stop talking about it. My 2 year old grandson could not get his words out fast enough or organized enough to explain the show. He used the word "Awesome" quite a few times when telling me about his experience. My daughter and son in law said that the grandchildren loved the show and expecially the Pit stop experience. Guess it was a good Christmas present from the Grand Parents!

Our grandkids enjoyed the trucks and dirt bikes. Wish the races lasted longer.

Although the monster trucks were interesting to look at, the auditorium was just not large enough to do them justice. The close quarters made it hard for them to maneuver and get up any kind of speed. It seemed rather slow and monotonous. The motocross jumping was much more exciting and I wouldn't mind seeing something like that in the future with some other added activities. My 10 year old grandson enjoyed the transformer show.

I've been going to these every year for over 15 years. I love monster trucks. But on our night the trucks sucked toughest truck? Do something different in your rutiene and get back the audience I had 3children with me and they thought it was boring and have liked these in the past. Also you guys completely skipped the doughnut competition. PS lose the dirt. Might make the show better. Even the dirt bikes couldn't get traction and you think the trucks will if even they can't? Pathetic show I will have to think twice about spending this kind of money next year

we took our 2 & 3 year old niece and nephew. our 3 year old nephew LOVED IT! definitely a nice smaller venue and activity for enjoying with the little ones:)

Went to my first indoor monster truck show a couple of years ago at the Covelli Centre and had a blast. This year was even better. The quality of the trucks was better, and there was exciting Chicago style action, instead of individual time trials. Top to bottom it was an awesome show, however there was some thing that was a drawback. Transtormer was filler to give the monster trucks time to cool down. If you are any older than 10, you probably found this incredibly corny. I would much rather have seen a car eating dinosaur any day. Freestle motocross was fun, but because of the track layout they didn't have a lot of time to shine. Overall a great show and can't wait for them to come back to Youngstown. But keep Transtormer at home.

the covelli center is small and that made it tough for the trucks to do better stunts . but not bad

This show was awesome,first time me and my family ever saw this and we all had a blast.

There was a lot of down time between the Monster Trucks preforming. Also I did not like the commercials that were shown during the show. Save the commercials for the beginning and intermission. The parking lot at the Covelli Center was terrible to get out of.

Too small of a space for monster trucks...took too long to set up or prepare for 2 min stunt or race. Could not hear the announcer. But when anyone else talked you could hear them. My 3 yr old enjoyed except all the waiting.

I think we've begun a new tradition! We've gone the past 2 years and they never disappoint! This year they did a new thing with Alien robots , it was more for the kids, but it was great!

Management needed to do a better job of clearing all the snow. Had to leave via an unplowed road, lots of people got stuck. Did a poor job directing traffic and making people aware of closed roads.

I bought these tickets because my 4 year old saw the commercial and asked could we go. Me being the awsome mom I am couldnt tell him no. I think its not geared towards litle kids it was WAYYYYYY 2 loud ear plugs are a must for little kids. I also think that this should be held during the summer months and in a outside arena. The Coveli Center is a awsome place but to small for these trucks they cant really preform any ticks or stunts becuase the space is to small. The best part of the show was the dirt bikers in my opinion.

Fun event! Would recommend instructing people to dress warm when purchasing tickets if it's cold weather season. Happened to check venue website, which had it stated. It was quite cold during show since they had to open doors. Thankfully, we were dressed properly.

Took our 2 yr old son to his first monster truck show, and he is a fan for life!! It's all he's been talking about! Great event for a young family!

I bought the tickets for my son and he loved it. He could not stop clapping and screaming. It was awesome.

It was our daughters (9) and sons(3) 1st monster truck show. They were amazed the whole time! even the parts w/o the truck action....from the MC to the motorcycles to the American robot saVing the world. We are planning another show for the summer in an outdoor arena!

Took three grandkids to the event. They were fascinated. The adults with me enjoyed it also. I think this is the third time that we have attended Monster Trucks at the Covelli Center and it is always a good time. Thanks for keeping all six of us entertained!

The show was good. But after seeing both Toughest monster truck tour and Monster Jam. Monster Jam is hands down the better show. I also felt that the Landers Center is too small to really allow the trucks to be used to their full potential. Id still recommend the event as a good family time.

The show had no wow factor to it at all. The show seemed to not have enough room to do anything. Overall the show was boring and disappointing.

It was good for small kids ages 5 to 7. We had fun. The area could be a little bigger for more tricks.

This is second time with grandkids along and they loved it as much as we did. Concession lines took too long to get through though.

Very family friendly event! Able to see entire action from any seat. Would caution that it is a very loud event so ear plugs of some kind are suggested. Also, due to the truck fumes, the arena keeps the vents open so during the colder months it does get chilly during the show. Lastly, due to the inexpensive cost of the pit pass ticket, this pit pass party gets extremely crowded so do not recommend to those who do not like large crowds.

This was an awesome event I attended with son and grandson.
