I truly enjoyed this show. The opening acts were filled with energy and talent . I had not hear of them before this show but I am now a fan. Jukebox the Ghost was amazing. Extremely entertaining and so enjoyable to listen to, dance to and sing along with. I was fortunate to meet Jesse, the very talented drummer of the band, prior to the show. He was very approachable, humble and appreciative. This only makes me even more of a fan of this very gifted group. I will certainly be seeing them again when they return.

They were incredible. They sounded even better than their albums and had a great energy on stage. Seeing Ben perform Undeniable You was unforgettable and then they followed that up with Tell Me Where It Hurts and I was emotionally unstable. We met & talked to the band for a while after the show and they are the friendliest guys! It was so much fun!

Simply put, it was more than worth dragging myself through the blizzard to see Jukebox the Ghost perform. They always bring such fantastic energy to their concerts and this show was no exception. Their musicianship gives their every performance a strong base. JTG played a great mix of new and old songs, as well as a fantastic Queen cover. They put new spins on their older music and sound fantastic live. (Oh, and their walk-on music was the (in)famous recorder cover of the 20th Century Fox theme.) The band members were gracious onstage and off.

As always, stellar performance by Jukebox the Ghost. They have such energy and are clearly pros now (I've been following them since before they were big). Ben especially has the best facial expressions. Give their new album Safe Travels a listen if you haven't already!

They were absolutely the best band I've ever seen, and I've seen quite a few. They were so energetic and they really connected with the audience. They would talk to us like people, not customers, and they would talk between every two songs or so. They were so nice and they even came out at the end to greet the fans. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Opening band, Matt Pond, was great but had a few demons in their mixing board that made many of the vocals indistinguishable. JTG was spectacular! Their song selection of old and new made for one of the best shows I've been to in a long time. clear sound, great songs, and expert skills.

It was my first Jukebox the Ghost concert, and every song was fantastic. The banter between the band members was hilarious, especially while they were improvising and figuring out what covers to play.

My best friend and I had front row, which made everything amazing, but really it would have been just as amazing had we been in the back. The energy in the crowd was absolutely amazing, which only added to how perfect JTG was. They played seventeen songs for the show, with a three song encore (which I had unfortunately had to leave for in order to get home on time). Everything they did was outstanding and you can tell that they really love what they do.

Jukebox the Ghost is probably the most energetic live band I've ever seen- I've been to two shows so far, and both were absolutely electrifying performances that had me singing the songs for days afterward. Additionally, the opening acts were great, I had never heard of either before the show, and I'll definitely be checking them out now! If you get a chance to see Jukebox the Ghost, GO FOR IT. You won't regret it, I promise.

Holy crap. I don't even know where to start. I think this is one of the best shows I've ever seen. Jukebox the Ghost puts on such an amazing show. Not only is their music incredible, they are great on the stage. It was so great, and totally worth the swass. And there was SO much swassy booty sweat. Wish the place was air conditioned (that's why I only put 4 stars)! But they're worth it. Oh yes, they are worth it.

Jukebox the Ghost was amazing! They're the most charismatic band I've seen. The show was fun and informal; they joke around as if everyone in the audience were their best friend. Didn't stop smiling once. Not to mention, they sound just as good live as they do recorded. Their quirky personalities really made the show for me though!

Wakey!Wakey! and Jukebox the Ghost were both fabulous; different enough so that the whole concert didn't feel the same, but similar enough that the transition between them was not awkward. Wakey!Wakey! was very interactive with the crowd, with lead singer Mike Grubbs telling anecdotes between some songs and making fun of himself when he had to stop and repeat the opening line of a song because of a mixed-up lyric. I was unfamiliar with their music, but it didn't stop me from enjoying the show, and they've definitely made me into a fan! Jukebox the Ghost played a great set that did well to balance their energetic pop songs with their slower ballads, also rotating between their two singers every few songs. They played mostly songs from their previously released albums, treating the audience to 2 new songs from their upcoming release, and one song to continue their self-described "Terrible habit of playing terrible covers," in this case it was "The Power of Love" by Huey Lewis and the News.

This is the third time I've seen Jukebox live. I'm a big fan of their music and just the genre of piano/alternative/rock. The song writing is brilliant and they're very engaging. Especially Ben who is their lead singer. While Jukebox has slowly gotten more and more popularity and become a bit more famous they still take the time after every show to talk to their fans, sign autographs, and take pictures. It's hard to find bands that are willing to do that these days especially at their level. While they're not massive yet the time the take out for their fans certainly pays off for them. Their fan base is extremely loyal. Anyways the show overall was once again awesome. Great songs, great energy. I can't wait til they come back :)

What an incredible show. This band is super high energy and fun throughout their entire performance. Their song selection was perfect for veteran fans and newcomers and their choice of cover to play "Somebody to Love" by Queen made my night. Also a great group of guys to meet and talk to after the show. Thanks JtB! Please come back soon PS I thought Matt Pond was OK but he played for far too long a set as an opening band. The Spring Standards were fantastic, and I think their roles should have been switched as opening bands.

I've seen Jukebox the Ghost an obscene amount of times. This was one of the best shows I've ever seen them play. FANTASTIC. I only know their 2nd album, and i know it word for word, then at the concert they obviously didn't just play their second album, they only played 4 songs off of it. But the show was so good that the songs I didn't know, which was a majority of them, still made me extremely happy to listen to. Great show. Jukebox was fantastic in every way. But there were way too many warm up bands. The bands were good, but for a place where you have to constantly be standing, it took way too damn long. By the time jukebox came on I was exhausted. But they were perfect and beautiful and wonderful and magical yay :)

I didn't know what to expect before i got to the show. i'd never been to taft and everywhere i looked had some seating arangements (which i thought was weird for a concert). after getting in and heading downstairs we came to a long basement with a stage at the end of it... needless to say it was super sweet, not over crowded at all, and the bands were spectacular.

Last night, I went to one of the best concerts of my life. We arrived two hours early-just in case-and we're the first ones there! I got to stand right up against the stage and experience the music like I never have before. The opening acts were fantastic (The Lighthouse and the Whaler, Matt Pond) and Jukebox the Ghost was mindblowing. Last time I saw them was at The Southgate House in 2009, and they only get better and better. I cannot express how talented and wonderful these people are; Jesse, Ben and Tommy are all extremely good at what they do and I am in awe of their ability to create such a huge and unique sound. This is a band that I have gotten to meet EVERY single show, and to me that's a complete dream! Whether it's references to Monty Python or a replacement word at Fountain Square (Giant Fountain) I wish the best for these guys and their future in music. Cincinnati welcomes you always, Jukebox the Ghost! Thank you for starting my 14th year out right!!!

I surprised my girlfriend and we both went to see Jukebox the Ghost with a couple of friends. The music itself was very good. It got a tad hot in the building, but they turned on AC or something and it started to get cooler. As usual, Secret Someones Rocked the house, this time as a Green Day tribute, wearing Green Day's personas well, and dare I say, with more attitude than Green Day have been able to muster since Insomniac. Jukebox the Ghost brought the roof down with an incredible hour set of their original songs, then another hour of Queen covers, all dressed as our heroes Roger Taylor, Brian May and Freddy Mercury.

This is the best live concert I have ever attended. The musicianship, The musicality, the showmanship, the pure joy of performance. The crowd was enthusiastic and knew all the words to all the songs. Ben Thornewill's vocals andGenius on the piano, combined with inability to communicate joy and pain effortlessly, made for an unforgettable evening. The way these three musicians Fill a stage is nothing short of remarkable. Everyone there knew they were witnessing something special. Jukebox the ghost is headed toward stardom

This show was in the Taft Ballroom, the neglected under belly of the beautiful Taft Theater. The venue had a pretty weird vibe, but that's fine. I like my venues weird. Little Daylight opened and put on a pretty solid show. They went on promptly at 8:30 and finished around 9:15. We then waited for Jukebox the Ghost for almost an hour and a half while they messed around with microphones and other sound equipment. My friend and I actually left the venue at one point because we were tired of waiting on them and wanted to cut our losses and go home. We ended up heading back down to the ballroom before we left and they STILL hadn't gone on stage. We decided to stick around and I'm glad we did. Jukebox put on a great show. They had good stage banter and they seemed to genuinely enjoy performing. The sound was rough though. There was feedback on the guitarist's microphone any time he talked into it between songs. I'd love to see the band again but in a more professional setting.

First time in the Taft Ballroom. Venue was good acoustically, but spartan in furnishings. Jukebox the Ghost were frustrated by not being able to sound check earlier in the day due to a performance in the main theater, but made light of the extended wait between opening and main acts, winning the audience back within a few chords. The sound of the band was so rich and true, better than the sound on their album. Really enjoyed the small venue and being less than 6 ft. from the performers. Little Daylight was great as a warmup act. Would definitely return to the Taft Ballroom, and would see Jukebox the Ghost again in a heartbeat.

Jukebox the Ghost is such a fun band. Their music is perfect for a concert. The two opening bands (Secret Someones and Twin Forks) were almost as good as the main event too! They all came out after the show to meet with fans. Awesome experience.
