My family and I absolutely loved this performance! The audience (from my point of view) wasn't that pushy and everyone seemed kind. The staff on duty did a great job. The performance itself was one of my favorite concerts I've ever been to. Tape had a different sound that I really have never heard before and I enjoyed their music. They played amazingly for a band that just started. Hell, I couldn't even tell they had only played three performances until they said they did. I wish them luck on their future gigs. Gerard Way and the Hormones were spectacular! They sounded amazing, and Gerard has a great way with the audience. He can be funny, yet inspiring, which is just one of his talents. He is also extremely talented at singing and he writes inspiring lyrics that have helped people through tough times (including me). He also is a very sweet person who actually cares about his fans. He had his tour manager outside of his tour bus collecting letters from fans (I gave him my letter). The Hormones are also talented at music and all together Gerard Way and the Hormones ROCKED the stage! I can't wait to see them all again someday. Thank you Gerard Way and the Hormones and Tape for a unforgettable performance!

We went on Dr. Seuss' birthday. We took the grandchildren, and all 4 of us had a wonderful time. The fish was my favorite, but the girls loved Thing 1 and Thing 2.

I saw We Were Promised Jetpacks on their first two tours through the U.S. and it's amazing to see how much they grown as a band and how their sound has evolved in the last 5 years or so. They still look a little stiff on stage at times, but they put on a hell of a show. The tracks from 'Unraveling mesh very well with their older tunes, and they have this fantastic ability to project their energy on the crowd. The Twilight Sad was the opener and they made me a fan right then and there. Aside from the great music, the Paradise Rock Club itself was underwhelming. the doors opened half an hour late, the venue reeked of spilled beer, there were Frat-boys heckling the band, and some coke heads trying to start their own mosh pit where people were just trying to relax and enjoy the show.

Mother nature ruined this event. I got to see Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit and Arcade Fire but that s all I got to see out of 44 bands. Granted I didn t want to see most of the bands but I had selected about 10 to go see and they were all canceled due to lightning, but no rain. I understand safety but there should be some kind a refund system on this disaster. I will end by saying that Jason Isbell and the Arcade Fire were awesome sets!

I have been to many a concert and this is one of the best I have seen to date. A wonderful mix of genres of music, from John Denver to opera to gospel to a beautiful medley from Les Mis! If you are in the area where The Texas Tenors are performing and you enjoy all kinds of music...you need to go to the show, you won't be disappointed, I assure you. The venue was also beautiful.
