Charlotte Hounds

We had a great time watching the Hounds. They came back from a 5 point deficit to win! We traveled 4 hours just to see them play. I was a little surprised at the lack of attendance. I hope Charlotte will get behind the team and support them. My only suggestion would be to consider seating on the other side of the field. The sun was VERY hot bearing down on the North side.

Great game! Competitive game until the end. Fireworks display was amazing. Awesome time!

Fantastic experience. Adequate parking within close proximity to the stadium. Great interaction with teams and fans. Looks like it will be a great place to return to watch more lacrosse. Would have liked to have seen more merchandise representing the whole league as it was an all-star game.

Lacrosse is a great spectator sport, especially at the professional level. Great way to watch an exciting sport without spending a fortune.

All the stars aligned with fantastic weather and an exciting game. The Hounds and the Cannons played a great game to the final horn.

Watching the Hounds in person is a fun event for the whole family. Lots of efforts to get the crowd involved. Amazing athletes and competition to watch!

Go Hounds! Charlotte Hounds games are the social events of the summer. Season tickets are such a great for the price you pay, even if you miss a game the Ticket Exchange program allows you to redeem those unused tickets for a later game. Reserved seats start at $96 and include this year's MLL All-Star game! Can't wait to see the Hounds take the field again. 4/27 can't come soon enough!

Tailgating, cheap tickets, historic venue, fastest game on two feet...Major League Lacrosse at American Legion Memorial Stadium is THE social event of the summer.

It was a great time at a great game. our team didn't get the win, but we were there to witness Connor Fields score his first professional goal and got his autograph after the game. Definitely going back next season.

These are great events for the family especially if you have young lacrosse players if either gender.

First time going...loved our seats! Prior to going in it was raining. Had to throw my umbrella away because they would not let me bring it in past the gates. I had a bag to put it in but between being scanned and searched (the world we live in today) I was not willing to take it back to the car. They would not let me bring it even in my bag....oh well...great game!

Excitement, thy name is lacrosse. Yay, merrily my kin and I joined for an nighttime expedition to American Legion Stadium, whereby we were met with a sight. Stacks of supporters, leagues long, trading a lowly amount of coin for a worthy amount of enjoyment. The will call tent is where I collected my permission to enter this gladiators den, this field of battle between dogs and birds. The spectacle, began promptly. Two warriors clapped their armor together as mighty waves do, all for a brief grasp of an orange orb which floated as the sun across a waining Summer's sky. The bout ended with a feather in the cap of these hunting hounds, and as spectators, we were all the better for it. I will sing the praises of this band of gentlemen far and wide, for it is a crime that only I should experience the excitement of a Charlotte Hounds match.

Good restaurants within a couple blocks for pregame, easy parking, festive atmosphere to watch really good lacrosse!

We could see all the plays well from our seats.----- They were a fair price.------ It is best to bring your own, strap-on cushioned seats with a back to them, because all seats there were bleacher-type with no backs.

The seating arrangement has changed from last year. A fans sit on the stands closest to the parking deck. The venue has a 1 1/2 old press box and a new walkway but this stadium built in 1934 is in desperate need of many more improvements. The Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners and Mecklenburg Parks and Rec are really dragging their feet on appropriating funds for a multi-million dollar upgrade. The scoreboard looks like it's from the 1950's!! One side of the upper deck was tore down due to safety concerns a few years ago. Mecklenburg County (not the city of Charlotte) funds CMS and the county jail (not stadium projects). Please sell this property or fix this very old stadium Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners!!!!

The game was fun, though very family based which is understandable that local lacrosse fans, especially kids would take advantage of this. But unlike other professional sports in terms of atmosphere. Still fun!

The players are involved with the fans. The game was fast paced.

I took my middle-school aged brother to this game and we had a GREAT time! The team played hard and, even though they lost, they put on a great show for the fans. Some players stuck around after the game to sign autographs, which the kids loved. There were a few technical issues with the stereo system but really that wasn't a huge deal. Concessions are fairly priced, as well as souvenirs. The only thing I didn't like was their "token" system for concessions. Surely they can figure out a way to make this easier for fans, whether they accept cash or cards. Overall a great experience!

My younger son and I have attended a couple of Charlotte Hounds games this year - I wish we had started sooner. First, the sport is great. Second, all the players are from the best college lacrosse programs in the country, so the quality of play is excellent. The Hounds cater to the kids, obviously to promote the game in the Charlotte region, and it is working. It's a great family outing, tickets don't cost $100 per seat, we've had a blast. You can get great seats for $25. Come out next season and enjoy the action!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first Major League Lacrosse game! The Hounds players are very talented and the game was fast! They played against Rochester Rattlers. The Hounds did not win, but they made it a game the whole time. The field, stadium, parking, pre-game fun for kids and concessions were all top notch. It was July 5 and they had an extensive amount of fireworks after the game. It seemed like we had five finales! Great place to take kids, they let them come in with their lacrosse sticks. They have one last home game for this season: Aug. 1st, don't miss it!

Great game! Affordable! My girls loved it. Up and coming sport to be a part of.

This was a great family event. Parking close to the venue. The game was fun and the management provided simple kid friendly entertainment between quarters.

This was our first MLL game and it was terrific! The hounds staged an amazing comeback to win the game. Great skills and fast moving action. Bleacher seating and limited parking were only negatives.

First professional Lax game I have been too and I can't wait to go back. Staff was friendly and the excitement was great... The players signed my son's shirt, which was a big deal to him.

Fun and enjoyable game that even the rain couldn't damper!

Very enjoyable evening. Thoroughly enjoyed this game, especially since the Hounds won! Nice view of the Charlotte skyline from the stadium. Great job by the Foxes, the cheerleaders for the Hounds.

When paying 26-48$ a ticket you would expect there to be some organization when getting into the game but it was just a blob of people walking through a gate. The teams were great and it was a family friendly event. My complaint would be that lacrosse sticks are NOT safe for children and others to bring into the stadium with. We had a group of kids infront of us and we were hit multiple times by the sticks. They did not have tickets to sit tere either. When we told security a police officer told us there was nothing he could do because it was just "kids being kids". I'm pretty sure this would be a great event if people watched their children, lacrosse sticks were not let into a stadium, and they had actual security.

Fun event with low prices. Cheap night and a lot of fun.

I went to this event having never been to a lacrosse game before. I was blown away. I had no idea how many people would be in attendance and that tailgating would be going on! They had a great crowd and the game was a lot of fun to watch. I think these games will only continue to get better and better.

Major league Lacrosse is new and a great deal of fun! The Hounds are a great team and the fans are fantastic. Go when you get a chance, you won't be sorry.

I took some people new to the sport and they are fast new fans!

The Hounds made everyone feel welcome for the All Star Game. It may be an older venue but it keeps the prices down. MLL did a good job with this.

Great event - the players were very personable and very kid oriented-

Due to the weather I feel the event did not draw as big of crowd as it could have. But the overall event was great!

I enjoyed the game. No programs although some people seemed to have lineups. Rain dampened things a bit. It was a great time for people with kids, as the all-stars were very generous about signing things. They would have sold more hats if they were better looking. I would have bought one. Lots of rain before the match and in the fourth quarter, but that couldn't be helped. I had fun, and will probably take in another Hounds game now and then.

The Charlotte hounds game was a truly amazing experience. I had no idea Charlotte even had a pro team but man what a show. A very family friendly atmosphere and very affordable awesome fun.

The Stadium is very basic which is part of the comfortableness of attending the event. The venue is easy to get to and from, parking is economical and the vending prices aren't bad. We had a great Fathers day celebration.
