Cirque D'Or

Venue nice. Show not so much. Cirque D or was a one night only show and for good reason. The show had lots of mistakes, falling, missing jumps etc.

If you get a chance to see the CIRQ D'OR show, don't miss it. It will be a great evening out. The performers were great.The costumes were very colorful and you will enjoy and be amazed at their skills. The human body is amazing and they will show you the flexibility and strength while entertaining you. The show is good for all ages and you will go away with a smile on your face.

I took my daughter in law and my 16yr old granddaughter, we all loved it. I've been wanting to see this show for ages and wasn't disappointed. Their strength and grace and balance was just incredible. I thank them for a night of great happiness.

We took our 3 Grandaughters to see the show, ages 8, 5, and 3. They were spellbound the entire show. What a great night out . The show was Great and the acts incredible.

My husband and I weren't quite sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed every act and on the way home discussed which was our favorite and decided that we couldn't really pick only one because they were all so great. Would definitely recommend it. We are only sorry that we did not take our grandchildren because we are sure they would have loved it.

This is the best show I've seen in a while. A circus that adults could enjoy.

This was the first time I had ever went to an event like this. I was impressed to say the least. The time flew by and I was simply in awe of the artists on stage. Entertainment value is a 10 and the costomes, music and choreography were excellent. Has to be the best value for all ages of any around. Great show.

Although the performers were strong and talented, overall we found the Cirque D'Or only mildly entertaining compared to other Cirque performances. It was lacking the variety that we have seen in other performances, however was probably a bit more exciting for those that have never seen a cirque. The fee was a bit high for the performance.

This was an amazing show! If you are looking for something different from a play or musical, this is it. Never a dull moment. I never knew it was possible for a human being to have the strength, balance, and endurance displayed throughout the show. Pure awesome! I do have a couple of negatives to point out which were most likely out of the hands of Cirque D'Or. The PA system was not working properly. I believe the left sound stack was blown out so the music sounded muffled at times. The accoustics in the auditorium are not very suitable for music. Both these things should be fixed and adjusted. The seating arrangement was average and the seats are not the most comfortable.

Cirque D'Or was absolutely amazing. It was suspensful, entertaining, astonishing.. Everything a show should be! Just when you thought they couldn't add anything to the act, they did. Loved it!

This performance was one of the most amazing events I have ever attended. The grace and athleticism alone would have been amazing. Ever act performed well above those expectations. I was physically worn out after seeing just half of the performance. The second half was even more amazing. I am so happy I purchased the DVD so that I can enjoy it over and over again. I would recommend this event without any reservations.

Our seats were great! This show was a non-stop variety of acts that kept us on the edge of our seats with anticipation of what was to come. We were very impressed with the talent of these professional young people. Leaving the auditorium, all we heard was how great this show was. Thanks for the opportunity!

It was unbelievable how anyone can bend and move the way they did. Very neat!!!

These young people are absolutely terrific! The energy on stage didn't quit for one second! Marvelous costumes and the gymnastics they performed were amazing. A very, very good show!

I PURCHASE TICKETS FOR 5 PEOPLE I THINK THE ADVERTISEMENT WAS OVERRATED & TICKET PRICES WERE TOO HIGH. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE OVERALL PROFORMANCE, EXPECTING A LOT MORE . I WOULD NEVER GO AGAIN. I COULD OF PURCHASED LESS VALUE TICKETS & STILL SAT ANYWHERE I WANTED. NOT A GOOD SHOW

wow. i never saw such an amazing event. the chair act was just insanely entertaining!!!

It wasn't what I expected but I know that people of all ages would enjoy the performances of these young Chinese acrobats. I couldn't take my eyes off the stage for fear of missing one of their incredible feats. I only wish the crowd had been larger.

Amazingly trained athletes putting on a fantastic show. I was disappointed to see that the civic center was not sold out! Freaky flexibility along with undeniably the best body control I ve ever seen. Superb show!

We thought the whole show was amazing. It was one of the greatest shows that we have seen in a long time. More people should try to see this show. One of the best in our area.

The show was good. It was neat seing the different acrobats. That was impressive. The security though at the front door could have been better. Instead of asking people if they had any weapons, they could have done more. In my experence, I was asked "do you have any guns or knives?" I said no and they just let me through. No pat down or metal decting wand.

I was expecting a lot having seen different cirque shows on tv. However, this particular show seemed like they sent in the C team of cirque performers. They were not that good, made many mistakes and would pose and expect applause every 5 seconds. The music was annoying as well. This particular cirque show was a big disappointment. Also, while the venue is beautiful, the seating is outdated, too small for average heights and weights of people, and too crampy. They need to update their seating.

If you like watching people throwing hats in air and dropping them. More like street performers.

if you've ever seen a Cirque show in Vegas then this one is not going to be worth your while. The choreography was subpar, the music was blaring and didn't match the performance throughout the show, most of the acts were limited in their difficulty or having that "wow" factor, and the performers really didn't do much to interact or hype up the crowd and get people excited. Spend your time and money elsewhere

The venue was great, the show....it was ok. Very talented people, it just got boring. Same routine for too long. I get it, you can twirl plates, but 15 minutes later they are still twirling plates. Again, they are talented, but the show could have definitely been better.

This is just a series of acrobatic acts. There is no overarching story or theme. It is just a specific act (like tightrope tricks), dim the lights, change props, return lights, juggling, dim lights, change set, return lights, contortionist, dim lights, change set, etc. It still was fun, and I would recommend going. There are some pretty neat stunts that are performed, but it is nothing like the cirque du soleil you've seen before.

It's not exciting to watch! My kids getting bored because of the music too.

Excellent show. Very impressed with the acrobats and performers. Will definitely go next time they come to Ft. Wayne.

Not worth the money. The tricks they tried to use were borderline insulting. We left at intermission. I will be seeking a refund.

While Cirque D'Or has excellent skills and talent, the presentation was flat and dull. The presentation was akin to watching a high school dance performance, no props, simple flat black stage against a black curtain and the music was depressing and sad. And while their skills are second to none, I'd compare it to watching someone juggle, it's really hard, but not very entertaining. Don't waste your time, there's too much jump rope, plate spinning, and general jumping around, not worth the money I spent. If you think this'll be similar to Cirque du Soleil, you are very mistaken and will be severely disappointed.

First off this is not from the famous franchise you know and love at countless locations in Las Vegas. This show sucked, to a point where it was funny because it was so bad. No production value whatsoever. The stage had nothing but a black curtain. The music sounded like it was Limewired in from a kid just learning on his grandmother s 30 year old synthesizer keyboard. The acrobats tried....they really did....but just not a polished act. Don t see this show. I ve seen better on the streets of NYC. Seriously.

The commercials for the show had me very excited to see it. It was really cool, but not as fabulous as I had anticipated. The performers are VERY talented and INCREDIBLY flexible. The commercials show feats that weren't even performed, such as the tower of people on the bicycle. They made a few mistakes like dropping their props. But, overall I had a good time. Just not a great time.

The production was generic. The backdrop was a black curtain and the costumes were dull, nothing like the picture. My husband and son left at intermission. I stayed thinking it would get better....it didn't. With todays technology and those talented kids it could be a great show if they put some money into it!. This show was not worth the money I spent.

I found the show mediocre at best. The routines for the most part were cheesy. I do appauld the kids involved knowing it took hours of training for their parts. But the final result was lack luster. Don't be fooled like I was. Not everything that has Cirque in front of it is worth your time or money. Maybe I went in with too big of expectations. I have been to Branson and saw the Acrobats of China. (very good) This show was a VERY watered down version of that.

The online videos misrepresented what the show really was. It appeared to be more of a low budget circus/gymnastics show - this was way over-priced! Most, if not all, of the performers appeared to be incredibly young, costumes were outdated looking, music was not well choreographed and very loud plus the show didn't last very long. I was incredibly disappointed. I more felt like these kids were being used for the owners to make money. They didn't look like they were having a good time performing at all. You would have expected far more for the price of the tickets. Will not be seeing this show again!! In addition, I prepaid for VIP parking and when I got to the Civic Center, there were no parking places left and the workers at the gate didn't care nor did they offer suggestions.

Ehhh. If I was 10 or under I d say awesome . Don t expect Circus de Soleil. And expect to clap and give them praise even when they stand on one leg. Seriously. They hold the pose until you clap. You have to clap sooo much!

The show was not worth the money we spent. It was similar to watching a children's dance recital - no - not even that good. Very disappointed.

The show was amazing. We really enjoyed it. The young performers were a joy to watch. The acrobatics were really fun to watch. I wish there were more people in the audience.

Show was good but not very elaborate. Costumes looked cheap and tattered. Talent was fabulous! No doubt there! Just expected more WOW factor like the original cirque d' soliel!

Overall, I think Circ D'Or was good. Some of the acrobats made a few mistakes, but my husband and our 20 yr. old daughter enjoyed the show. Some of the acrobats looked to be under 14 yrs. old. so my daughter took it upon herself to go backstage, after the show, to meet the performers and ascertain the ages of the acrobats. My daughter said the performers were between 10-23 yrs. old. All of the performers were very disciplined, confident and well rehearsed, but a few mistakes were still obvious. I'd go see them again.

As a fan of Cirque Du Soleil, I attended this show At the Mable House in Marietta, Ga. because it was headlined as a comparible version to Du Soleil. This show is different than Cirque Du Soleil, but for the price of the tickets it is so worth the go. If you are familiar with Du Soleil then you would know that tickets that show range in prices from $200.00+ so you pay for alot of the theatrics and costumes, Cirqe D'Or doesn't have all of that so the show focuses on the performers themeselves. No super fancy costumes, but the performances will still leave you in awe. It was entertaining for the complete 2 hours, with a brief intermission in between. I would definetely recommend this show to anyone who likes a circus type acrobatic show that leaves you wondering how these people can do what they do. Just go, but at the performance that I attended there were some parents with small children, maybe 5 and under who became completely restless and wanted to be stimulated in a different way and could care less what was going on on the stage, I would not recommend this show for the smallest ones. Even though you only pay $30.00 for these tickets, I would find a babysitter for the kids, so that you can enjoy the complete show, and not have to worry about having to leave.

This show was not good. It was a waste of money. It was advertised as an actual Cirque show and we were very disappointed.

This was the worst CIRQUE show ever. No production value at all. It was just a hand full of kids from China doing flips. No scenery, no costumes, music was horrible, lots of wasted time. They shouldn't have the right to call it a CIRQUE show. My family and I were board and disappointed when it was over not what we were expecting. I wouldn't ever recommend this show

The young performers had acrobatic talents, however, with a performance name containing Cirque , my expectations were high; I was very disappointed. This performance is suitable for children; not so entertaining for 50 year old adults, in my opinion. Definitely NOT worth the money I paid.

We got front row seats which I thought would be phenomenal! It was hard to see the footwork and lots of details of the performance.

I have to admit that the show was less exciting than I was expecting. It is a basic Chinese Acrobats show. It was entertaining for the kids but was lacking from an adult standpoint. Plain stage, basic lighting, nothing spectacular. The entertainers made several obvious errors - diving through the hoops they missed several times.

This show was disappointing, not suggested! too simple, costumes were dirty they should not be able to use the Cirque name, as they are not anything close! save your money and do not promote this show, very simple acts, some shouldn't have even been done.

Advertisement on t.v. Nor pictures of event prepared us for the show. Nonetheless we marveled at the expert skill and technique. Understated difficulty throughout show. Left with an appreciation for the presentation.

I have taken my family to many Cirque shows in the past. We've been to big shows in Vegas, under the big top at MOA and we were hoping a small stage show would be just as exciting. Unfortunately we were very disappointed, it's not the performers fault, they were very good, I blame the organizers, a Cirque show should never be tried in such a small venue.

Incredibly talented and enthusiastic performers. Terrible production values. This show is in desperate need of lights, sound & staging to be the world-class show it COULD be.

We went and saw this show at the Civic Center in Rochester MN and it was the worst show that I have ever been too! It was a very low budget performance! It was nothing like what was advertised on TV or any of the videos we saw online. No special effects or background scenery. It looked like it was put together by a bunch of high schoolers. My family and I left at intermission as it was unbearable to watch! Can t believe that this performance was allowed to be put on!

What a delightful afternoon! I attended Cirque D'Or in Utica recently with my family. I was absolutely blown away by the level of talent that I saw onstage. These performers are extremely skilled in their craft and put on an incredible and memorable performance. It's not everyday that you get to see this type of performance. This was a wonderful day for the entire family.

Don't be fooled by the name - not a Cirque Du Soleil show. Description was not clear whether it was a proper cirque, which we should have probably known by the venue size and show not on the actual Cirque Du Soleil website. Should have known by the price point. Which was still a high price point for the type of show it was. Very dull stage, not colorful and vibrant as expected, costumes were so-so. I would suggest waiting for a Groupon for this type of show. Disappointing when you have an expectation built from the description and Cirque reference. Entertaining enough for kids. Performers definitely talented.

Try as they did,I have seen better acrobatic performances at halftime of college basketball games. With such barebones equipment and costumes they need to update their music, routine and 'persona' to inject some excitement. For the price, the entertainment value was simply lacking and the overall performance amateurish.

I was so excited to see Cirque coming to our town again that I was not as thorough with my due diligence in checking out what the show was about. After seeing many Cirque du Soleil shows, my expectations were high and my anticipation was over the top. But, as soon as I walked into the venue (which was very nice by the way), I knew immediately that this was not going to be the Cirque that I've come to know and love. I also should have known based on the price of the tickets. But hey, if you decide to check it out, you'll see some good stunts and okay costumes. You'll also hear some so-so music (not live, there is no vocalist). Just know, it's not Cirque du Soleil style.

The music was very loud and all sounded pretty much the same. It wasn't what I was expecting.

The performance was average at best. There were some really good moments but nothing earth shattering. There was a couple of failed moments where it was obvious that the performers could not pull off the tricks, like missing their marks and knocking things over. I do however appreciate their efforts and I know they work hard to be good at this but they need more practice before performing on stage for the public. The show was good but it was missing "The Wow Factor" to be a really good show.

The performers were trying their hearts out. So they get a good grade for effort. But this felt like a high school production. There was no set, just a curtain in the back, and the stage was dusty. Groups or single performers would just come out and do their thing, and none of them were amazing. There was actually a jump rope segment! Where two people literally swung a jump rope while others jumped and flipped through it. You can probably see that for free on playgrounds! The part where a performer hangs from a net in the air (as seen in the picture for this event) was completely unimpressive and it seemed like anyone could do it. It wasn't amazing like what they do at Cirque du Soleil. There was a segment where people had to dive through rings, and they kept missing over and over! The audience was nice and cheered them on, but again, this felt like a high school level production. Current versions of Disney on Ice have acrobatics that look one hundred times better than this. It feels like a low budget, bare bones show that's trying to capitalize off the popularity of Cirque du Soleil. But if Cirque du Soleil is the Cadillac of these shows, then this would be a tricycle with a broken wheel.

Went to see the show in Utica at the Stanley Theatre. It was the best cirque show my wife and I have seen outside of Las Vegas. The performers were flawless. Tickets were very affordable as well.

Performers were energetic, captivating with bright costumes and amazing, beautiful, fun and stunning acts. I would definitely recommend this and would even go again! Two thumbs up!!

The performers where very good and did a lot with very little. The show was dragging at time. Fell well short of the wow factor in the promo buildup.

This was an incredibly amateurish production capitalizing on the heels of cirque d solie. Costumes were falling apart, performers had holes In their tights. The music was cheesy and performance was mediocre.

Show was average.... it felt like it was the "B" or "C" group that was entertaining. This is nowhere near a big production event. Very simple background (black curtain), very simple costumes that were well worn (we had front row seats and you could see the holes or rips in some of the costumes), and music was standard, nothing special. The folks overall were not very charismatic or with much showmanship. We noticed that some people left at intermission which should tell you something. I would not buy tickets to this again nor would I recommend that you do.

The show was just okay. I was expecting a lot more, but (sadly) I could have seen the same show at any outdoor festival or 'America's got talent.'

Okay, it's not expensive, but they forgot that the circuses have at least colors and atmosphere to get the attention of the client, there was only a black hole behind the stage that looked horrible, the music was cut without reason and they changed of subject with a frightful noise. he needs more life and more color.

I bought the tickets expecting something similar to the wonderful over the top Cirque shows I've seen in the past and shows that Cirque has been affiliated with. The overall quality of the production was terrible. No music or theatrical sound, creative lighting or anything to enhance the show was incorporated into the show or routines. The production included minimal sound system (two small speakers set off to the side of the stage), zero creative lighting, the props looked old and low quality. When each routine ended the theater was dark and silent for several minutes. It was uncomfortable silence. No showmanship or high level creativity was included in this event. Most of the the acrobatics were entertaining but lots of mishaps that I wouldn't expect from a Cirque show. What makes the Cirque shows better than the rest is the quality of the production and high level of the acrobatics. I felt that this show did not live up to the Cirque reputation. It felt like a bad knockoff of a Cirque show.

This is a troupe of Chinese acrobats (and a few clowns) trying their best. For that I give them credit. If they were not playing off the Cirque name I would be happier with the performance. But this a low budget series of unrelated acts of skill with no real connection or professional level set design. If you love America's Got Talent you will like this show. They tried hard... about 15 % of the efforts failed this night.

Depending on what you like and expect this is a pretty good show for the money spent. It's really more of a series of vignettes, doesn't have an overall story arc like you may have come to expect with other more well known productions. About half of the vignettes were compelling: good to very good. The other half were nice enough all the way down to what seemed like amateur-hour.

This show was fantastic. The acrobats were truly incredibly trained and highly talented in their art. It was suspenseful and breathtaking. It was non-stop action that really did keep us on the edge of our seats. It was one of the most amazing shows I've seen in a very long time.

The costumes, feats of dexterity and strength with good music were very moving, with nice emotional breaks of sometimes ridiculous yet charming comedy. I really enjoyed seeing both shows! Performers sometimes flew/swung/climbed so high that it was tricky keeping them in full light - but that didn't diminish the talent presented. I teared up and held my breath at times during the show, especially during the hoop diving! There are a wide variety of acrobats in the world, and this troupe has become one of my favorites. It's been two weeks since the show and I'm still thinking about it.

This show was spectacular from beginning to end. We were amazed and astounded by these talented performers. Very entertaining.

Pleasant entertainment by Chinese youth w/ captivating acrobatic & contortionist talent. Native Chinese music & artistic/colourful costumes were well coordinated w/ the format. Traditional acrobatics, as well as new/creative, was very enjoyable.
