State Champs

State Champs

New York pop punkers State Champs have been rocking fans with their emotional songwriting and prize-worthy live performances since forming in 2010. They’ve toured with big names like All Time Low and 5 Seconds of Summer, and it’s easy to see why as they tear through adrenaline-filled anthems like “Remedy” and “Elevated” in concert. In addition to their hard-hitting songs, State Champs also have a softer side, and they’re just as impressive when frontman Derek DiScanio takes things down a notch to deliver tender tracks like “If I’m Lucky”. Whether they’re turning out distorted guitar feedback or waxing acoustic, State Champs always give ticket bu.

Every band that was there killed it and did what they do best. They interacted with the crowd and definitely reminded me of why I'm in love with all of them. I keep watching all of my videos over and over again because I'd give anything to go back.

I have seen these guys a dozen times now, and they never fail to put on a great show. Their energy is always on point and when the whole room is singing every single word you know they've done something right. The opening acts were amazing also, which is why I went both nights. I hope they come back soon!

State Champs almost played 2 whole albums it was exhausting. They played for like 10 years. Don Broco sounded the best they literally were so smooth and the sound was so clean they actually somehow sounded better than the album. They also just hung out at the bar afterwards for the rest of the show even though they opened just talking to people and hanging out. It was rad.

High energy fun show! The audience was engaged since everyone knew the songs. Sound system was muddled for the first two acts. Seeing a now successful local band (State Champs) on their home turf really pumped up the crowd. Sunday night show plus time change; tough to get up for classes the next morning but well worth it! Hope the boys come back home again soon.

I'm a huge fan of Knuckle Puck, Neck Deep and State Champs and I've seen them live before and they never dissappoint! I learned about Like Pacific because of this tour and they were pretty great! I dragged my friend who hadn't heard Of any of these bands before and even he loved all the performances. His favorite was Neck Deep. All the bands have this great energy and just make you want to have fun! Definitely recommend to everyone!

If you're looking for something fun to do and you don't even know much about State Champs, go for it. They have such an amazing stage presence, and the amount of crowd surfing is sick (if you don't prefer getting crowd-surfed on top of just stay to the sides of the crowd) After the show all of the members came out to talk to us. Derek was such a genuine person. It was probably the best concert I've ever been to.

The show was absolutely insane, State Champs is an amazing band. The venue was 10,000 degrees. It was honestly one of the hottest places I've ever been in my life. They need to get better ventilation here. Maybe more fans too? Or air conditioning. Not sure. It's a really cool place though and I would go to another show here if I was given a chance.

State champs put on an amazing show. The whole crowd was screaming every word and going nuts. 2/4 of the openers were good. Long wait until state champs actually came on but I would definitely see them again.

Been listening to them for a while now and I knew I loved them before I saw them live. But I saw them on the Future Hearts tour when they opened for All Time Low and I know forsure now I am a forever fan. They're such a good live band, their music totally rocks, and they're geuninely so nice. They interacted with the crowd and put on a great show then met fans all night after their set. The lead singer (Derek) came out right after their set and between other sets as well and met people for as long as he could. The rest of the band came out after the whole show and met people, too. I got to meet all of them a few times and each time they were so sweet to me and my sister. They talked to us about actual stuff and didn't just do the whole "hey, nice to meet you, thanks for coming" stuff. They signed our shirts, took pictures, and talked to us for quite a few minutes each time. They always stop for people, even when security tells them no. Regardless of all that, THEIR MUSIC IS SO GOOD. Check them out if you haven't already. If you have and you're liking it, go see them live asap!
