It was a great show. I think lineup should have been different. The wait for JaRule and Ashanti was a bit loooooong but the performance was everything!!!!!!! TPain and Mase I believe would have had a better crowd is they'd perform later in the show.

We had a marvelous time the entertainment was Great each performer provided us with a great show. Now with that being said the DIRT was overwhelming for the amount we paid to be so close an outdoor carpet should have been used... The food was good but SUPER expenses we paid for a case of water for one bottle :( . Last thing was Ja Rule and Ashanti REALLY a 2 hour between acts many in my area left prior to them coming on stage. Security that one older guy that felt he could yell continuously at his staff was to much:( :( :( OVERALL WE HAD A GREAT TIME THE PEOPLE AROUND US LAUGHING ENJOYING MEETING NEW STRANGERS...!!!!!! WE WILL DEFINITELY GO AGAIN AND HOPE CHANGES TO MAKE THE TOTAL EXPERIENCE GREAT.. 95.7 TEAM WAS GREAT AND TRIED TO DISTRACT US LOL. UMBRELLAS AND OUTDOOR CARPET FOR VIP AND THAT NEXT SECTION PLEASE 2018.....THANK YOU TO ALL THAT MADE THIS GREAT FOR ME ON A DIFFERENT NOTE MY HUSBAND PASSED AWAY IN JULY THIS EVENT HELP ME YELL AND FORGET MY WORLD FOR A WHILE THANK YOU MUCH...

Joe Thomas was awesome and kept the crowd up and at it. I like the songs that he sang and would communicate with us ladies with a hand shake or one of his towels. Joe constantly moved about from stage to stage and was so fresh and so clean in his white suit.

I have admired Monica since her first album. Monica began with a tour of St. Pete. She didn't just do an amazing job at the concert, but you can see photos of her with adoring fans in the hood of St. Pete ( the deuces). Love her even more. My second favorite was Joe, loved his energy, his performance, etc. I loved the food that was in the VIP section. I have zero complaints, just wish I had an opportunity for a meet and greet with Monica. Thanks 95.7/Beats by the Bay

Loved the show. It was really nice. Monica killed. Joe killed it. Fat Joe killed. Didn't get to see Frankie Beverly and Maze because I had to drive back to Orlando!!!

Beats By the Bay was excellent but sitting area for the silver seats was too crowded not enough space but all in all it was an excellent show kind of sad Austin Alsina didn't show up Monica put on a good show Fat Joe was good all the way upJoe was good Ginuwine put on a good show Franklin Beverly is amazing no matter how old they get they still put on a good show well it loved it to the fullest

Although a couple of artists were no shows, the ones who did show up showed out. Good sound quality, there were no bad seats really, and lots of vendors. Had a great time.

Line up was awesome! However a little disappointed August Alsina wasn't there. Weather was nice. Plenty of vendors this year!

It was great event lots of great food and music....lots of great artists

I purchased 3 tickets (3 months in advance) specifically to take my daughter and a friend to see August Alsina who was a NO SHOW! The promoters advised that he was sick at about 4:30 and Genuwine took the stage at about 4:45. The show was supposed to start at 4pm. At 5:04 August or his people posted an apology on Instagram that per Doctors' orders, he could not fly. We thought he was sick and maybe coming out later because the video screen continuously stated that August Alsina was coming up next (following Genuwine). We never realized he wasn't even there until his Instagram post. My two girls and I were deeply disappointed because he was the sole purpose of us driving the 2 hours to get there, getting the $150 overnight hotel stay, then driving another 2 hours back home. Not to mention the $247 I spent on tickets to get in. Ultimately, we left early to get ice cream and head back to our room. I understand people getting sick but also feel something should be done as a result of all of the money I am out of.

VIP tickets were really worth it to me. You are right up close and you get to interact with the performers. The tables also have more leg room than the other seats.

Had a blast it's was great to see so many people actually like adults and have a great time love seeing the artist. Only 2 things need to be adjusted. 1 bathrooms for men and for women's separate!! More vendors because the the food lines were too long like 45min waite.and bring more beverage trucks or full bar .parking was crazy but we all made it in after walking 2miles we still had a blast..thank u and see you next year God willing.

I have a problem with the difference between the white festivals and white festivals held at Vinoy park. The only explanation that I can come up with is that its a ploy to make more money. They don't need seating in front of the stage. There should be one price and an open field for everyone to set up their lawn chairs on a first come basis. If VIP is necessary... the white events will have a tent on the side and ticket price is higher for that area. Something to think about. Also, too much time lapse between performances with nothing going on. If it's a festival, provide entertainment in between, if it's just a concert, keep it moving! Nobody wants to be at a concert for 6 hours.

It was amazing. The only reason I gave one star is because the drinks were watered down and one of the Artists were not there so we had a whole gap missing. Overall, I enjoyed myself.

I went to Beats by the Bay 2016 and although I enjoyed it to me it wasn't worth the 70.00 price tag for general seating. Yea it was originally $55, but once you add taxes and fees it adds another almost $15.00 to the price. To get a better seat you had to pay $100 to get even slightly closer.. Smh. Fat Joe, and Ginuwine's performances were real short and not loud. Monica did an OK job, but she kept on cutting off her songs before time was up. August Austina wasnt even there. The best performances were Joe and Frankie Beverly with Maize in my opinion because the music was louder, they dressed better, was more visible, and they engaged the audience more. I would recommended prices go lower.

Was a great event! Im new to Tampa and this was my 1st concert here and it was well worth the money spent. Ginuwine did a nice set getting out in the crowd interacting with the ladies. Monica had a great set that was entertaining. Fat Joe turned it into an outright party had the whole crowd jumping and hating to see him leave he really left the crowd wanting more. Joe was good when he went inti his classics he got the crowd back into the groove. Everyone was having a good time listening to the legend Frankie Beverly singing along with him having a good time. The concert was a success ate great food beautiful scenery will definitely be back next year.

The lineup was great. Music quality exceeds expectations. However the VIP experience was less than desirable. No red carpet; no meet the artist and/or phot opportunity. The value of 2 VIP tickets should have yield parking passes! It was obvious that the radio staff & guest had the ultimate VIP experience. The decision to add servers for VIP guest was amazing. Certainly made up for the lack of hospitality that typically comes with "Platinum VIP" status. Other than sitting up front with a table; I don't see the benefit of paying that price (not to mention the taxes that were included). I would go again, but compared to the Funkfest VIP experience..... BBTB has some work to do. Great potential, awesome venue but need to get it right for the VIP folks. Plan to attend Soul Fest (my Bday) hopefully the experience will exceed the past 2 concert experience.

This show was amazing every artist was at a 10? I was celebrating my 40th birthday with friends and family. The food and drinks were incredible thanks Beat by the Bay see you next year.

This was a 50th birthday gift to my husband, we had a blast. Although their was one performer that did not show, we had a great time.

Beats by the bay always has my favorite singers with amazing talent. Wish the wait time in between acts was more consistent and not such a long wait.

The doors opened at 1, and the concert was supposed to start at 2. The concert didn t start until AFTER 4. Our snacks and water bottles were thrown out at the door. (No where on the website or ticket was that stated) We were told they were not allowed and the workers themselves just found out that morning, while apologizing. Mase, Mario and Brandi, absolutely killed it!! Ashanti, on the other hand, did not. She looked great, but was not singing. Her and JaRule took forever (over an hour) to come out on stage. People started leaving. Every once in a while she would belt in some words over the Dj s playing her music. The food trucks were delicious. Everyone was pleasant and the police were there in case problems occurred. The portapotties were clean and there was a wash station . The show ended around 10pm

It s was just ok for me and family. The 2 shows before we re much better and the wait time in between acts were awful especially before the last one 2 hours wait time I know y all can do better than that.... Or get more professional artists.

Brandy had a great performance! Enjoyed Ashanti and Ja Rule also. Ashanti and Ja Rule took 2 hours to come out to perform. This was too long of a break between music acts and not professional in my opinion

The performers were awesome (well the ones I did get to see: Mario, Tpain, Mase, and Brandy) and the beats by the bay employers did their best to entertain us in between but the wait time between each performer was beyond ridiculous. After Brandy performed we waited almost 2 hrs for Ashanti and Ja rule yo come on stage. Also the tickets stated show started at 2pm but the 1st performer did not go on until 430pm. The entire show was really dragged out. Honestly one of the worst concerts I ever been to because of how long it took. I've been to concerts in the past with multiple performers and it took half the amount of time it took at beats by the bay and I didn't even get to see the final or grand performance. Honestly feel like I wasted my money!!!!!

Location is PERFECT!!! The lineup was good however the feature artists took too long to take the stage. Nice adult atmosphere.

I️ paid $60 for a hot concert, no shade what so ever I️ felt like something like that is worth $20. On top of that they wouldn t sell me water or soda at any of the stands I️ was only allowed to buy it at the alcohol stands which you can figure was a very long line. The concert didn t even start til 4 hours after the start time. I️ ended up leaving before the main even Ashanti could even perform. The bathrooms didn t have toilet paper for the rest of the night, no soaps, and the bathrooms were disgusting and filthy. Overall my experience was very poor not sure I would do this again.

The festival was said to start at 2pm, thankfully we didn't get there until 4pm, which is when the first act went on. Otherwise it was just local openers. Mario opened the show and his set was extremely short-pretty disappointing. Then Mase went on, he was fun. Then T-Pain stole the show. He performed nearly an hour and was awesome. Brandy came on for a little and was fine. Then there was over an hour and a half before Ashanti and Ja Rule came out. At this time we had been there for 5 hours already and everyone was getting restless. Crowd was even booing the wait time. Then Ja Rule and Ashanti were so disappointing that we watched about 10 minutes of them and left. The first half of the festival was fun, Park was beautiful, but its just so long to stand around in between acts

Very upset at Ashanti and JaRule 2 hours late, I was really looking forward to seeing but Decided to leave very dissatisfied with them. Mario, Mase, Brandy, Tpain awesome job!

The DJ for intermissions was great but the wait for JaRule and Ashanti was unacceptable. It was a bad ending to an otherwise great day. People waited almost if not over 2 hours and then they did not put them on the screens like they had done all day for the other acts. Instead they played videos. I could have watched videos from home.

Had a great time for the price, the staff was healpful and friendly I will be attending next year

The park was the perfect venue. Brandy was so spectacular. Ashanti looked amazing, but her vocals are not comparable to Brandy, they should of changed the lineup. The radio station djs played the same songs, over and over between acts. It might of helped to have a comedian inbetween sets to keep the crowd entertained. Or perhaps consider shortening the time between acts and the duration ofor the show. Not sure I'd go back.

It did get a little chilly out there. Need more speakers to better hear the music or bigger screens to view performers. Otherwise, I enjoyed the concert.

BIGGG PROPS TO ALL THE ARTIST THAT BLESSED THE STAGE AT THE 95.7 BEATS BY THE BAY CONCERT at VINOY PARK in ST. PETE, FL. MONICA, FAT JOE, GENUWINE, JOE THOMAS, and FRANKIE BEVERLY & MAZE! DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO AUGUST ALSINA? HE DIDN'T PERFORM BUT EVERYONE ELSE GAVE THEIR BEST!

The only reason I was attending this event was because August alsina was performing. At the start of the show the host announced that August could not make it because he was sick, which was a lie. August was on snapchat all day that day posting from his home, which implies to me that he was never attending the event. I just wish that the radio station would have informed the public that August was not performing because i would have stayed home and got a refund

It probably was the last time they are going to perform and I am glad I got to see them

Everyone was great... Great music. Enjoyed the people, music and food.

I had a friend in town for the weekend and this was the highlight of the visit. Great music, positive vibe, and good food!

Didn't care for Fat Joe. Enjoyed all the other artists. Although Frankie couldn't sing as well, he gave an AWESOME show! Hope you get an artists like Charlie Wilson next year.

The show started 2 hours late. Lots of commercials and radio advertisements. Intermission was tooo long. I didn't pay to go listen to the radio station DJ, I payed to see the artist advertised.

The show was great. I went to see Monica and Fat Joe. An they didn't disappoint.

This was my first concert in America and I jumped at the chance to see August Alsina perform. That is why I paid what I paid for the VIP platinum tickets and drove 2 1/2 hours both ways.When they announce that he wasn't coming because he was sick, my first thought was hope he's okay, then I got mad and sad at the same time. don't get me wrong now the radio personalities the DJs and the other featured artist they did the darn thing they put on a really really good show. So instead of an awesome time I had a good time.

I've been to several concerts but this was the worst by far. I traveled from the Orlando area to go to this concert and I was terribly disappointed. The speaker system was sub par and the emcee was nonexistent. The acts were ok but I think they were just as frustrated as I was. There was entirely too much idol time between each performance (30-40 minutes on average). RIDICULOUS....This was a birthday gift to my husband and I was going to go all out and get VIP tickets ($200+ each) thank God I'm technically challenged, I accidentally selected General Admission ($50). The best thing about my weekend was we got to see the beautiful city of St. Pete.

Great concert but needed more LARGE SCREENS so everyone can see.

Although August Alsina was a no-show,I had a blast!!!! in the VIP PLATINUM section.A night to remember,for years to come.Looking forward to next years show.
