I really enjoyed all the artist. The show was not too short or too long. The parking and drinks were reasonable. Getting to the Cobb Energy Center was great bc traffic was handled correctly. I love, love Tucka. I was so happy to see him. I only wished he was taking pics like TK Soul and Nellie Tiger.

I knew it would be a good show because I'm familiar with most of the artist but one artist in particular I knew when he was a DJ in S.A. TX, stole the show. None other than Mel Waiters and his band. My friend enjoyed it too!!

Great time, great music, great ledgens. My wife an I really enjoyed what we could truly see of the event. We had a few, let's just say "Desparate'", could have been just lonely. nah "Desperate" older women that made the event their own private show.

I really enjoyed the show once I got inside but we spent 1 hour riding around looking for parking. At one point a became so frustrated I was about to give up and go home. If I was to recommend the show to someone else I could not do so without telling them about my poor parking experience after I paid 100.00 plus for tickets. Shame

Oh my goodness!!! This concert was absolutely awesome!!! Every last act was amazing. They are all so very talented and definitely under-rated! Atlanta's DJ's are doing a dis-service to our metropolitian area by not playing this music on the air.... And don't even let me get started about SIR CHARLES JONES I could listen to him all night!! NO JOKE And the Guitar player for Clarence Carter! That man was a show all by himself!!! Can you say SEXY!!!! I will not miss another one of these shows!!!!

I've been to plenty of Blues concerts. At first, I hated that it moved from the Fox Theater but I was open for change because I've never been to the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. I must start off saying that the lineup for this was out of order. Bishop Bullwinke should have not been performing. He's good for laughs and for YouTube but not a real concert. He went over his time, (didn't mind the host telling him he was over his time) which cut Sir Charles Jones performance short. Sir Charles Jones was the headliner and only did 3 & a half songs. (one song he cut short). The sound quality at Cobb was horrible. It was not crystal clear like a concert should have been. The band was good but overall, move the Atlanta Blues Festival back to the Fox. Performance wise: Pokey Bear had AMAZING energy, I loved his entire show; Lenny Williams still got it, he did excellent; Theodis Ealey almost put me to sleep; I missed Latimore because of the long wait at the concession; and Sir Charles Jones was GREAT-- just wanted to hear more songs.

All the acts were great, Latimore got us started and excited and all through the show it was wonderful. Lots of laughter and jokes which were on the money, but Theodus act needed more interaction with audience, he was ok but need to bring up his showmanship. Bowinkle was off the chain and awesome as well as Lenny. Sir Charles, I was a little disappointed that he did not put on a show stopping performance like he has previously done. It was nice that he recognized Bobby Womack, but he need to step it back up for Sir Charles!! The location was great and look forward to more future blues shows. Would love to have a video of show if possible. Thanks for a great great time until next year!!

Let me began by stating that the facility was very nice, the staff members were friendly and inviting and I really appreciated the fact that the artist were so willing to take photos with the patrons after their shows. However, the line up of talent was not what I nor my husband expected. We both understand that the "great" artist have transitioned thereby only leaving a few to walk in their shoes but we also understand that the "few" that have been chosen to continue on this tour should be weened out for the good of the tour. Poke'man was horrible!! He lipped synced, grind, wiggled, and screamed his name his entire "too long" performance. Theolous just did a bit too much and his sound was muffled, however, his band was on point but just too loud for that arena. Sir Charles has a great voice but we couldn't understand why his entourage was on the stage with him nor could we understand why he felt the need to talk and talk and talk and talk some more instead of just singing with just a small amount of conversation. The majority of his performance was talking. Bishop Bullwinkle, well, he was himself I need not say more. Lattimore and Lenny were great!! Maybe they should go out on tour and take Sir Charles (if he can manage to stop talking) themselves. Their sound systems were great, their stage presence was great and their music was great.

The show was great!!! Getting to your sit or better yet getting the right assistance to the correct seat is still a issue. My husband and I found our seat just fine, look at the arm of the chair and seek and find. There are people there that should know but still training is needed in that area (thats all I am going to say on this)..behind us almost broke into a fight because in the end the people that came last was taken to the wrong sits and left them there. Oh my GOD!!! BUT THE SHOW WAS ALL THAT AND THEN SOME...THANKS ATLANTA

I seen many MS and TN blues shows with multiple artists, including some that participated in this show. This was the worst Blues show I've ever experienced ! I am glad they didn;t cancel the show with all the bad weather, overall it was a very good show, I just wish that there was more parking. The line to get into the parking lot was ridiculously long and me and the wife ended up going a couple of blocks down to park in the Publix parking lot and walk back. The show itself started off great and the crowd was into all the acts until the end when Millie Jackson came to the stage. At this point it was around 11pm and I don't know if it was because majority of the people there were 45 and older or what but people started yawning and leaving. Overall the only thing that I would have changed is the high priced drinks.

Everything was great. The only issue I had was the drinks. Very little alcohol for the price they were charging. They were putting to much ice in the cups, by time I got back to my seat the drink was watered down. Besides this, I really enjoyed myself. I had close up seats, so that was a plus. GREAT JOB!!!! If it come back for the 11th, I will be in the building.

2nd row seats at PIT3, nice view! Theodis opened the show & kicked off a great night! Of course, he had to sing "stand up in it". Then came Latimore who straightened it out & although he is a few pounds heavier, he still has the moves. Mel Waiter took us to the Hole in The Wall with his red Valentine suit. Clarence Carter's voice was as strong as ever at 78. Clarence Carter offered to "drive" all the drunks home. Sir Charles Jones wooed the crowd with his youth and singing to the lonely. The ladies were wild! Ms. Millie Jackson stepped on stage with a little black mini that shouted "I still have it going on at 69". She still has the same nasty mouth as she had back in the day. Just loved it!

Overall I enjoyed the Blues Festival; the music was awesome. The only thing I didn't like was when the people from the radio station came on stage to give Bobby Blue Bland an award; they interrupted "Members Only" and I never got to hear him sing the song. The award was supposed to be given after he sang the song. His performance of that song was one of the reasons I bought a ticket for the Blues Festival in the first place.
