I can not form the words to truly describe how awesome this show was. I love comedy and all these comedians. I was nervous about the short sets, but they all brought it and more. Definatly going next year!

The doors opened at 7:00 and by 8:00 the house was packed. We had great seats stageside, although in such a small venue there weren't really any bad seats. Also, very greateful that they had actual seats set up. It seemed like a really long wait till things got started, but the 2 opening acts got things going around 8:15. Pete came on around 9:00, and the crowd just went crazy. He was wonderful, he riffed on Boston, the word "retarded", Phone sex, gravity, Mr. Peanut...he interacted with members of theaudience in a good way. Although some of his material is very blue, he avoids the mean-spirited cynicism of some comics. He also hung around after the show and greeted people personally. A very happy experience!

I was worried it would be standing, but Paradise Rock Club set up chairs that were general admission. It was a great set up for a comedy show. All the comics were great, especially Pete Holmes. I'd definitely see him again, especially here. Not a bad seat in the place.

I felt really lucky to get to see Pete in such an intimate venue - I have a feeling that will be impossible a year from now. He riffed so much and kept us continuously laughing. I had to keep interrupting my laughs to start in on new ones. Pete is such a strong, natural showman and he seemed to be having a really fun time entertaining us as well. One of the greats.

Just a great show from all three comedians. Really fun audience and a packed house with a ton of people having to stand. I wish more comedy came to Boston, because there really is a market for it, but not a lot of venues for it.

Pete Holmes was on-point. Such a different and unique experience to be at a podcast recording with other great guests like Jim Gaffigan and Michael Ian Black. Very cool night. Worth seeing if he comes to your town.

I paid $45 mostly to see Artie Lange to do stand up. He never showed up. Instead Judd Apatow was on for 1.5 hrs. Disappointing.

I love Judd Apatow's work, so when I learned he was starting to do stand-up again, I vowed to see a show, if possible. I bought tickets even though I wasn't familiar Pete Holmes and Artie Lange. So impressed by Pete Holmes! Judd was awesome. Artie Lange couldn't make it. And great to experience the biting comedy of Beth Stelling, comedian and writer for the Crashing TV series.

This was a great show in a fabulous setting. All the comics were great, but Judd Apatow had to do 2 sets because Artie Lange didn't show up. Judd Apatow was the best of all three and it's no surprise he is so popular. Great show I would recommend it to everyone.

Artie Lange canceled at the last second. No refunds offered. He was arguably the biggest draw of the three. Judd Apatow spent his set name dropping and telling us how much money he makes. Pete Holmes did his best to bring the laughs but it was too late.

This was the third year in a row that I've seen Pete at the Paradise. The second year he did a lot of the same material as the first, but this year he switched in a lot of different material. Great show, looking forward to going again next year!

I'd heard of Pete Holmes and seen him on TV, but had no idea the impact this guy has on a crowd. As a standup comic, Pete is original, really one of a kind, and a burst of positive energy. His smile and laugh are as contagious as the material I found myself repeating after the show... I see A LOT of standup, and rarely to people leap to their feet the way they (we) did at the end of his show.

Pete is an amazing comedian, and an amazing person. After a killer show he stayed and gave every single one of his fans a hug. A man with tattoos completely fan-girled over him, and another woman cried when she hugged him. How many comedians can you say that about?!

Pete's comedy set was even better than the opening monologues from the show, although those were slightly different - a bit more philosophical. His humor appeals to a wider audience that most comics because he mostly addresses the human condition, not just the woes and joys of his age/ gender/ class, etc. Plus, he does voices!

We learned a lot about life this night...can't tell you what or we'd spoil it for you...I'll just say I learned a whole new way of responding to people in London fashion that is working very well. The opening act, MC, had some pretty good material but her delivery was horrible. I kept resaying it in my head to see how it would be funny if said differently - or maybe with some expression...which maybe was her thing not to have any emotion when she spoke, but it missed. 2nd guy was funny and good...still a little quiet...but good material and delivery. Then Pete Holmes came out like a storm and my boyfriend looked at me and said "Wow! He's a pro, you can tell." And he was...not a moment of silence, continual laughter and great witt. I'd go see him again and definately suggest it to others...Well, and we did once we left. :)

Great show. Great drinks. Everything is wonderful when you can go somewhere and laugh for over an hour straight. I would definitely go to another event at Cobbs and will make sure to try to see Pete when he is back in town. THAT is how much fun this show was. I would watch them all do the same material again today.

It was a great evening, reasonably priced, good cocktails, very good performers. My only disappointment was midnight when it seemed that the comics did not know what to do. Apart from the balloon drop and lackluster countdown, there should have been some (recorded DJ) music, singing or something (Auld Lang Syne?) for at least 20-30 mins after midnight. It really seemed like the message was - Okay - show's over, it's midnight - now leave.

Great show! Acts 4 & 5 should have been the warm up acts. The show felt like there was no producer, no good music between sets, nothing to pump up the crowd. The actual countdown fell flat because there was no music. All the comics took to the stage and didnt say anything just stood around looking confused on what to do. No Auld Lang Syne song. The balloon drop was cool, but they should have had music and the group of comics should have figured out some sort of collective bit to do together - like something physical. Like cream pies in the faces or impersonating Chinese acrobats or something. The MC was funny, but used some old material - like the bit about condoms. I will go next year if they have it, but I will hope they get a producer. Lastly, they seemed to have a shifting line up, Natasha Legerro dropped out at the last minute to stay in NY I think, which was a bummer. The good: good show, good performers, fun, laughed my arse off. The bad: not well produced, comics dropping out

The host was pretty good, and Doug Benson had us laughing. Imaginary Radio was somewhat acceptable. The rest of the acts however, were just foul language, sexual gestures, cheap attempts at shock value, and cheap talk. Everyone in my party left the event feeling very disappointed at how many times we rolled/covered our eyes versus how many times we laughed. And we all LOVE comedy shows. Maybe if wine wasn't $12 a "cup" we would have been drunk enough to find something else funny.

Awesome show, so much better than a typical NYE out. I'm a fan of Pete Holmes, Hannibal Buress, and Moshe Kasher and they did great. I had never seen Rory Scovel who killed it for me, and Bert Kreischer, Doug Benson, and Imaginary Radio were very funny. Only Jessimae Peluso seemed a bit out of her league here standing in for Natasha Leggero. Nob Hill Masonic is a solid venue for comedy- great sound, well lit, beautiful lobby, nice staff, ample bathrooms downstairs. The seats themselves are a bit older without a ton of legroom but they were fine. They let you bring drinks to your seats which was a plus. Dropping a ton of balloons at the end of the countdown was a surprisingly fun touch.

Fun and hilarious. Many of my favored comedians in one place! You can walk to Nob Hill Center from Bart (as long as you don't mind trekking up San Francisco hills). Plenty of good restaurants in the area- makes for an excellent date.

I really like Pete Holmes for his podcast You Made It Weird, and I think his standup is great. Pete is definitely my favorite comedian. He's certainly not for everybody, but again, he my favorite and he has a loyal base. Pete isn't afraid of letting a joke die, only to dig in a little deeper, and make it hilarious. He lets the audience know that he is also there for the ride. Pete's experience of being religious, going to college, marrying young, becoming a comedian, getting a divorce and loosing most of his religion greatly informs his comedy, and he has a great sense of wonder and amazement about the world around him.

Pete Holmes was easily one of the best live events I have ever been present for. His new jokes were hilarious, his crowd work and riffing was impeccable and very entertaining, and it was great that he did some of his best old jokes at the end of his set. If Pete is in your area he is more than worth going out to see.
