Intimate show, which is usually how I like them. The band was great. High energy, interacted with the crowd and each member stayed behind and spoke with the fans. My only complaint would probably be that it was a short set, only an hour, but I guess that's me being greedy.

I have been aware of this group for many years, and finally last year saw them in concert and began my love affair with their music. Their talent, sense of fun and passion for their music, the camaraderie among the artists, it's all just too good to be true. And they are all ours!

The first and second act (Pauly Casillas and Halli Borgfjord) were good. The show started off great. The third act (Travon Free)was lame. The comic didn t seem prepared, he even mentioned it in is routine but I thought he was kidding (of course). He also seemed intoxicated. His jokes took too long to get to the punch line. I found myself daydreaming and wondering why I paid so much for the tickets. The fourth act (Eli Braden)sang his whole skit, which I didn t know he was going to do. It started out ok but some where it went terribly wrong. He got extremely raunchy, tons of people left early. It s ironic because the last two comics were the ones with credentials and were my least favorite. I would give this show another try, but I ll check out the reviews before I spend any money.

4/18--San Francisco Regency Ballroom (week of my b-day): awesome show, full band except Dan, venue had room for dancing in front by stage & we took advantage of it. Energetic crowd, TNP had most of us out of our seats. The Regency has great sound. Perfect early b-day present to myself. 5/6--Bellingham: special surprise (to us at least) Kathryn Calder & band were the 1st opening act!! They were fantastic & after the set Kathryn signed my newest TNP shirt. 2nd opening band was ok....then TNP (sans Neko & Dan) hit the stage & really got the crowd up & going. There was a bit of a balance problem with the mics during 1st song but it was sorted out by the 2nd one. In spite of limited space in front people were dancing & filling up the aisles & having a great time.

Watching Ms. Benitez perform onstage is an experience one will never forget! Her presence, her style and her unique contralto voice will mesmerize even those who don't speak or understand her native Spanish. I recommed that you don't miss this exciting event!!!

To start off with, the way the stage is so close to the fans is stellar!! I was right in the front row, and my elbows were on the stage, absolute perfect spot! And leftover crack were amazing like usual!! Hopefully they come back to town soon!

I don't really know how one rates Mikhail Baryshnikov in a show about Vaslav Nijinsky directed by Robert Wilson. I don't think any of us are deserving to "rate" these legends. So I'll just say that the performance was very emotional, very introspected and very deep. Amazing music and lights. Baryshnikov is in crazy control of even the smallest movements, his interpretive dances are incredible. If you don't care about any of these people, it might not be something you'd be interested in.
