Mötley Crüe

MOTLEY CRUE IN CONCERT: After more than three decades of headbanging, heavy metal bad boys Motley Crue announced that 2015’s The Final Tour would be their last ever, giving fans one final opportunity to see Tommy Lee and company in the flesh before the curtain falls for good. The band has always been a revered live act for their showmanship and over-the-top performances, but their 2013 shows were their biggest and fieriest yet, featuring pyrotechnics beyond fans’ wildest dreams – including the late Nikki Sixx’s legendary flamethrower bass. With 72 North American dates in 2014 and international dates to follow, the Crue are doing it big in true form, burning bright to the very last guitar solo. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT: Formed in LA in 1981 by guitarist Nikki Six and drummer Tommy Lee, Motley Crue was quickly rounded out with the addition of lead guitarist Mick Mars and singer Vince Neil.

These guys may be in their 50's, but they sure did rock hard like they were still in their 20's at their final tour! They did not disappoint with polished music and plenty of FIRE and other EXPLOSIVES (I could even feel my face melting off from the heat even from the top terrace)!

After thousands of shows and a Decade of Decadence, Motley Crue puts all of their talent and experence into a night of hard rockin entertainment. For us older fans it was a night of remembering the good hair days of rock n roll music. For the younger crowd, the Crue showed them how a rock show is suppose to be done. Highly recommended for rockers new and old!

This was the Best Concert I have ever been to . Me and My husband both loved it. We pray that they will be back soon. I will never forget what an awesome Concert it was. If anyone thinks that Motley Crue has lost it they are crazy. I would go again tommorrow if i could. The smaller venue made it even better there was not a bad seat in the place. My husband has seen Kiss with makeup and he thought the Crue was better. Loved it, Loved it, Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you haven't seen the Crue, you are missing out! They are the most exciting group I have ever seen, and I will see them again every chance I get. Watching Mick Mars play was an honor. He is so talented- he is the greatest guitarist alive. Nikki Sixx is such a great showman, Tommy was a ball of energy and interacted with the croud quite a bit, and Vince was at the top of his game. I couldn't recommend them any higher. GO SEE MOTLEY CRUE!!!!!!

I'll have to admit having seen The Crue on almost every tour....I was reluctant to believe they would actually show up in Corbin, KY. But....they did & the boys turned that town on it ear! From the start of the show it was apparent that the band came to do nothing more then rock & thats just what they did. There are few 80's bands that survived through the 90's grunge onslaught but Motley Crue is a band that has not only survived through drastic changes in the musical climate but they thrived with a verosity through every one that only The Crue can. Simply put....there is nothing on Earth like a night when Motley is firing on all cylinders & they we're brother....THEY WERE!

I've seen the CRUE live back in the day on the theater of pain, girls, girls, girls, and most recently carnival of sin tours. Compared to those shows this seemed like an abbreviated show. There weren't any girls on stage as backup singers or dancers. No drum or bass solo's. The setlist and explosions were awesome, tho. One thing that disappointed me was Crue has joined a growing list of entertainers who inject politics into their shows. I personally don't go to concerts to hear their political views. If anything I go to escape my daily life. Although the previously mentioned shows rated a 5 star review this show got only 3. Carnival of sin was probably one of the best shows I've ever seen. Overall this was a good concert.

From the opening song "Kickstart my Heart" to the end of the show "Home Sweet Home" the Crue was rocking the arena. Vince was in great shape and got the crowd really involved even though his voice was not at his peak the show made up for it. Micks guitar solo was awesome and in the middle of the show Tommy passing the Yager through the crowed was cool.

The show was awesome! My first time to see Motley Crue and I will not forget it! I didn't like the poor quality of their tee shirts. The venue was a little less than desireable. They need to work on security and keeping people in their right area! I also didn't like that I couldn't take my camera in. But everyone with a cellphone could take pics.

Saw Motley Crue in Nasville 2 months prior to this show with the Saints of LA show which was very good. This show was better as they seemed to just let loose and play their stuff. This is a small venue and I wondered if they would scale down the showmanship but definitely not the case. The Arena is very nice with sufficient rest rooms and concessions. They had just received their beer permit which was good. We live in Knoxville and alcohol sales are prohibited at Thompson Bowling. The thing that must be improved is entry. There were only a couple of doors open for entry. One in the front and one in the back. We stood in line for over 30 minutes in the rain. It appeared the problem was they only have a few ticket scanners. Easy fix but needs to happen.

Loved the show. There were a few moments that the stage or arena messed up and had the lights on for a few songs but not the bands fault. All in all - as always.. a freakin great show. Can't wait to see them again in August! Love the Crue's concerts!!

I saw the crue many many times..... Great show.. but they didn't have the motorcycles, and blow ups and big big screens like they usually do...but a nice show for the Corbin arena... Plus they could have done a little better job with the drum solo....OH, wait...Tommy Lee didn't do one.....? whats up with that? but all in all... good show!

I've seen many Crue Shows in my time, but this one took the cake. Worst sound I have ever witnessed, and it wasnt the venue, because 3 doors down rocked the house the night before this event. I have seen Motley Crüe 3 times in my lifetime, every time I came out of those concerts I always felt that I've just seen the best concert ever and this last time was no exception! The boys have outdone themselves again, the flying drums, the flame throwing guitar, the explosions, fire and amazing lighting on the stage were the perfect compliment to Vince's energy and vocals, Tommy's drumming and Mik's masterful playing, Nikki was good too. I've seen all the 80's bands more than once and nobody comes close to the Crüe, maybe Guns and Roses in their prime could be a distant second. This is truly the end of an era!

Last chance to see the Crüe and, man, what a spectacle. All you could ask for...most of the big hits from the past 34 years accompanied by dancing girls, an amazing light show, more pyrotechnics than may be legal in some places, and Alice Cooper as opener. The stage set is amazing with Tommy riding a drum set roller coaster over the crowd and Vince and Nikki get their own rides on booms that bring them up close to the audience. Of course, closing with Home Sweet Home is a given. Farewell, guys. It's been great being a fan.

The Crue kicked ass, Tommy Lee has the most entertaining drum solos I have ever seen, the "cruecifly" was epic! Vince seemed a little out of breath at a few points but still sounded great, Nikki Sixx and his flamethrower guitar was awesome, and Mick Mars can flat out rock! Alice Cooper still puts on a good show as well, very entertaining.

We are still talking about this show!!! It was our first time at the venue and we had no idea if our floor seats would be any good - we just wanted to be there. The opening act got things warmed up nicely and Alice Cooper was fantastic. But when Motley hit the stage and started blowing up the place, we were in awe. Never got to see them as a kid, and needless to say, we felt like part of rock and roll history seeing them now. What an incredible show - the pyro, the 'Cruecifly' drum coaster, the finale right by our seats as we all sang "Home Sweet Home." Wish I had the cash to see another show in another city. Thank you Motley Crue for taking us back one more sweet time - we will never forget it.

I have seen thousands of concerts, starting with the Beatles in 64. And this ranks in the top 5 of all time (and Motley Crue isn't one of my top 5 favorite bands!) I would pay $100 just to see the KICKSTART MY HEART finale again! THAT BLEW MY MIND! Of course Tommy's solo was a once in a lifetime performance as well. I did have good seats (on the side, 4 rows up) but still, it was so unbelievable. THANK YOU MC.... got to see you twice this year and it was worth every stinking penny! I would have thrown money in a tip jar if there was one. SO SAD I'll never see you again.

This show was spectacular. Alice Cooper was musically exciting to listen too and the theatrics were thrilling as well. Motley Crue sounds better than ever. Motley Crue are literally going out with a bang on their allegedly "farewell" tour. Time will tell if they stick to their guns or if they come back in 3-5 years like most artists do after milking the cash cow of a "farewell" tour. Lots of theatrics and lots of hits. If you like Motley Crue, it's well worth your time and money. Even the casual fan will appreciate the show. I wish they'd done more from the first two albums, but beggars can't be choosers. The legendary Alice Cooper opened and it was a stellar performance despite being shorter than his usual headline shows.

Vince's vocals sounded like he was an outta shape, outta breath marathon runner singing at the karaoke bar.He asked the crowd to sing way too many times.I paid to hear him not the crowd.Very disappointing. Tommy's drum coaster was off the chain, but he performed his solo to rap music,again...very disappointing. The Pyro was like the effects guy was trying to burn down the place, very overkill and disappointing. It was however Motley Crue, who 30 years ago were truly the bad boys of rock, but now there just 4 dudes stuffing there 401k envelope. Times change i guess, disappointing though... Let this truly be the last time we all shout, shout, shout at the devil, okay? And I say that from the bottom of my country-dirtbag headbanging heart.

I am so glad I did not miss this Concert.Bought tickets on the day of the Concert and it was the best money I have spent. Opening act Alice Cooper put on an awesome show! So many props including the famous boa. My 14 yr old was transfixed and so excited.Perfect show for October due to all the horror acts. He is an amazing entertainer. The Motley Crue Final Tour Concert was out of this world. They did not hold anything back.It was one hit after another and the pyro, fire, lights, props were so thrilling and the best I've seen at the State Farm arena.Seeing Tommy Lee playing drums upside down right on top of us was the best and WOW is all I can say. The Crue sang their last song "Home Sweet Home" on a a platform next to the Sound Crew in the back and right in front of us.It was such an emotional moment for the audience and the Crue as you could see Vince and the band were feeling it as this was their final tour. Alice Cooper and Motley Crue were a show. The only draw black is the AA. One of the worst acoustics venues i've been to. Saw the same show last October in Gexa and it was great. Gexa allows for a bigger show and much less restictive. Probably will not go to another concert here.

HIs opening act was phenomenal with fire raining from the sky. There was monsters, Alice Cooper being decapitated, electrocution, a 12 or 13 foot Frankenstein, a crazy nurse and much more! Motley Crue outdid themselves. They brought their rocking music along with their awesome props and pyrotechnics. I loved this show and sad knowing it is their last show ever.

Motley Crue still rocks after all these years... what an incredible show. I have seen them live on several occasions and this was one of their best! Everything you would expect in a Rock N Roll show. Went with my wife and 16 year old daughter and we all agreed this was not a show to miss. We would have went to see them again in Charlotte the next night if tickets were not so expensive. Great set-list, impressive pyro, awesome stage presence... even though Vince's voice is shot... who cares... they still rock and he didn't sound as bad as the last time I saw them Live. The drum solo was the best I have ever seen and I have been going to rock concerts for 25 years and have seen most of the classic rock bands perform.

I have loved this band since the first time I heard them back in 1981!! This was the most incredible bitter sweet ending to a over the top story! I hate to see it end..my only regret is not getting the biggest package for the event, I so would have loved to have "The Dirt" signed, but there's nothing that I can do now but sit and look at the pictures I have on my phone and play the crap out of the same ol music I can't live without.

What a show! Vince actually sang most of the lyrics which always adds to the enjoyment. Nikki and Mick were amazing as they are! My favorite in the band is Tommy Lee, who captured my imagination about 30 years ago when I saw him as a teenager for the first time. His aggressive playing, his over the top personality, and his drum stunts, always steal the show. This tour is no different, his drum stunt in this tour is amazing and really gives everyone an opportunity to see him do his thing. On top of Tommy's tricks, the pyrotechnics and light show are ridiculous! If this is, in fact, their final tour, they did it right! I hope, however, that there is a comeback tour somewhere down the road...

One of the best concerts I seen in a long time, Motley crew rocks the place with its fireworks, light show, Nikki throwing fire around the stage, Tommy doing 360 drumming solo thru the arena. I dont want to be a spoiler SO YOU WILL HAVE TO CATCH THE NEXT SHOW YOURSELF to see what real rock is all about ! Motley Crue for ever !!

I have to admit... I went to see Motley Crüe for the opening act... Alice Cooper was the very first concert I attended as a 14 year old and 'Schools out ' was our summer anthem from middle school to high school graduation . Alice was great! At 75 years old he can still rock and was accompanied by an amazing group of young upcoming rock stars. They put on a great show! It was hard to imagine it was a opening act! BUT an opening act it was!! This was my first Crüe concert but I was very familiar with their music. What fought me by surprise was the energy, showmanship and ability to connect with the crowd. They are surprisingly great musicians! It's a shame that over the years their boffo stage antics overshadowed them as performers. Listening to their music on the radio or your home stereo pales in comparison to their live performance! I highly recommend you catch this show while you can still can!!

AMAZING!!!! Absolutely everything you'd want in a show. All their best songs, cool pyro and lights and a rising stage out in the crowd for the "Home Sweet Home" finale. But the best, most amazing, fun, cool, rockin' part: Tommy Lee's roller coaster ride bangin' on the drums upside-down. The greatest spectacle, the coolest guy, the best part of the show!!!!

This was my 2nd time seeing them this tour. And even better than last time. I loved Mötley Crüe and their opener Alice Cooper. It's always a unique and exciting concert and never a dissapointment. I will love them forever even after they quit touring for good.

From the opening act of Alice Cooper to the final encore for Motley Crue - just a good time from start to finish. I saw them both back in the 80's and they are better now - maybe it's me or maybe it's that things seem better once you have a little nostalgia.

I have seen HUNDREDS of concerts and this was a top 5 for me (and that's saying something since I wouldn't consider MC one of my top 5 favorite bands). I left the venue speechless. I was so excited I couldn't go to sleep for hours. I don't know how anyone could not give this 5 stars; it actually earns more than that! You will see things you have never seen in your life - I hate it that its over this year.

Alice Cooper hasn't lost his touch. Still rocking it out like it's the 80's with props and everything and his new guitar player is sexy as hell. Motley Crue rocked it out like always but you can just tell it's time for Mick and Vince to call it quits. The years have caught up with them and they need to kick their feet up and just relax from here on out. Nikki and Tommy somehow managed not to age as they rock it out like they are still in their 20's.

I've always loved Motley Crue, but hadn't seen them in several years. Since this is their farewell tour, picked up tickets to see then one last time. Loved the concert so much that I purchased tickets for the show the next night at Mohegan Sun. This was by far the best concert I've been to.

Motley Crue was incredible. First Alice Cooper came on stage with his pre-Halloween theatrical performance, he and the band were awesome. Then Motely came on and threw a wild party for their send off. Fireworks, confetti, Tommy's crazy roller coaster, lifting stage and to buckets that brought Nicki and Vince out in the audience. Simply incredible. The band was right on, light shows outstanding.... I couldn't complain about a thing..... Barclays though is not a great place for a show. One the sound system could not handle the likes of the Motley Crue. It sounded muffled at times. The trains were supposed to be able to handle events yet the crowd had to wait an hour and a half for the train to come. Not a convenient venue to go to.

Alice Cooper opened the show and I couldn't sit down. The 67 year old rocker sounded amazing and his set list was perfect! Adrenaline running through my veins I couldn't wait for Motley Crüe! Micky Mars shreaded the lead and Nikki Six was plucking the bass like he was a teenager! Tommy pounding the drums and the sound was point on... I shouted at the sound until Vince opened his mouth! The horrible off pitch squeal which came from his mouth made my blood curdle... He couldn't even remember the lyrics to half the songs and Shout at The Devil sounded more like squeal at the devil. Vince Neil should change his name to Vince Squeal! He should have never come on stage sounding the way he did... I was so disappointed I left... Alice Cooper definitely rocked the show! Motley Crüe sounded amazing until it came time to listen to the lyrics!

This was my first rock concert with a famous band and I gotta say, Mötley Crüe knocked it out of the park. Even though Vince doesn t really have much of a voice anymore they still put on a heck of a show. Not to mention that the pyrotechnics were fantastic and the Crüecifly completely blew me away. My only regret was that I couldn t see more of these guys before now as this is their final tour (hence the title All Bad Things Must Come to an End). R.I.P. Mötley Crüe.

This is the show of shows, and no matter what you WANT to find the money to get a ticket to this concert. There not just standing around on the stage playing and singing, but instead it is a great stage show by the performers, and lets not forget the lights, special effects, pyrotechnics, just to mention a couple things. If you love bass you will love there sound system. Best show I have seem in many years.

It was an unforgettable experience. We had seats towards the top and were given different seats when we arrived. A little hesitant on where we would be sitting, but after arriving at our new seats, right next to the stage, we didn't care why they moved us!!

I bought VIP tickets to both the Milwaukee and Madison shows....over four months apart. After reading the review of their tour-opening show in Michigan (Grand Rapids, I think) I was expecting so so much more. They supposedly had several equipment issues at that Michigan show yet still played for two and a half hours. And the newspaper review couldn't say enough about the spinning drum riser that Motley Crüe was one of the first to employ. Milwaukee show we were 30 rows back, center stage. They played for just shy of two hours and were LOUD LOUD LOUD! No spinning drum riser but still a 3 1/2 star show. I figured it was because we were in an outside venue and it couldn't work. In Madison, there wasn't even a worthwhile drum SOLO much less a magic drum riser. They said "good night" at the hour and a half mark and then came back for their signature closer, "Home, Sweet Home" from the mini stage set up in the rear of the venue. For a "Final Tour", they're sure not impressing anyone! It's like they're playing the minimum acceptable to get off the stage. Sorry guys! TWO HOURS is the standard that EVERY concert-goer expects! Alice Cooper, on the other hand, crams so much "show" into 50-60 minutes that in my humble opinion....he steals the show from the so-called "Bad Boys". It was definitely NOT worth the $200+ per ticket we paid for VIP seats.....except for Cooper.

Motley Crue/Alice Alice Cooper concert was an awesome 3 hours of Rock N Roll! Great music, pyro, pretty dancers, roller coaster featuring Tommy Lee playing upside down, python, guillotine, Frankenstein, explosions, confetti, steam blasts, & flame shooting guitars. Best concert of the year & pushing into my top 10 of all time! ( I have seen over 400 concerts).

After all these years Motley Crüe continues to put on a great show! The energy, the sound and everything I expected wasn't here and more. The only negative was the lack of concessions operators in the venue. Took about 30 mins to get a something.

Go to this concert only to see Alice Cooper! Alice's voice was clear and the band sounded great! They really put on a quality, entertaining show and sounded as good as 20 years ago! As far as Motley Crue, it's nothing to stick around for. Our seats were on the lower level (not floor) in the smaller Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum so we were fairly close to the action. We had seen them twice before and had been looking forward to this last tour since buying our tickets in January. Motley Crue was pretty much torture with nothing but blaring distortion and overuse of pyrotechnics. Vince Neil's singing voice sounded horrible, even when just talking to the audience. The songs were unrecognizable and lighting was so bad, you could hardly distinguish the band members. We were straining through the entire show trying to pick out which song they were performing. They also spent too much money on the unnecessary track that carried Tommy Lee for his drum solo. That was nothing special and people all around just sat down and surfed on their phones for that one. Such an utter disappointment. We summed up our evening telling ourselves we just enjoyed an amazing Alice Cooper experience and Motley Crue was just an extra band that just happened to be there with Alice. We never thought it would be reversed like that. Highly recommend Alice Cooper (only reason I gave Motley Crue two stars instead of one) save your money if it's for Motley Crue. The height of their careers has long since passed.

The Ranskins started out early, did not care for them much, Alice Cooper came out after The Ranskins... He was Awesome.. Alice is a must see with his theatricals involved! Loved the snake and the changing of his sets for each song...Lastly Motley Crue came on stage and he threw a baton to the audience... Lots of fog, Lots of explosions, lots of fire - hard to take good photos with their sets, just too foggy. Nikki and Vince came up on a platform on the side where we were and sang 3 chairs away from us ! The drum trick with Tommy Lee on the roller coaster thing is awesome.. wish Mick Mars would have come up front more, he stayed mostly on the side of the stage. Overall an awesome must see concert!
