Awesome way to do something good. What a charity event!! None stop laughter, 8 headline acts, John Mayer popped in for a song. The next two years being the 24 then 25th anniversary events promise to be big. Won t miss them for the world.

Been coming to this event for 10 years now. This event was really awkward made by a couple comedians. One comedian came out and trashed Donald Trump and then talked about racism and yelled and swore at the crowd. The next comedian came out and trashed Hillary Clinton. The crowd booed both comedians and they both did not take it well and harassed the audience while on stage. Besides those two comedians the rest were very funny, Dennis Leary is always amazing, this is a great cause for the Neely foundation. This is a great show and is always well done, this year just had a couple of bad apples.

What can I say that hasn't already been covered in the news. We've been going to CCH for years and this is the first year where we seriously considered not going again after this year. The event itself is great, and goes to a great cause, but unfortunately it was ruined by a few, including Wanda Sykes and Nick DiPaolo. I get it, it was an election year, so we should expect some comedy related to the election. What Sykes did, however, was a rant. No comedy, no jokes, just insults. I didn't even vote Trump but it was uncomfortable to listen. DiPaolo was the same, but went after Clinton. Those two effectively ruined the night. All I have to say is thank god for Bill Burr. I never really listened to him outside of seeing CCH each year, but he was fantastic and will certainly follow him in the future. Besides the middle of the show, everyone else was fantastic. Denis Leary always puts on a great show, the band was great, and all the other comedians were great. I will have to wait until they announce the lineup next year to decide if we're going to go again, but I hope they haven't lost us as fans and attendees.

I have been attending this great show for several years, and it never gets old!! It is for a great cause, and you laugh so hard that your face hurts! It can get down and dirty, so easily offended people need not appy! But if you appreciate uncut, raw humor that will have you rolling, this is the venue! Denis Leary is an amazing host and has always been involved in great causes! The fact that this benefits the Cam Neely Foundation is such a wonderful reason to go! See you next year, Denis!

Wish they had these shows more often. Being in remission myself and losing my dad to cancer a few months ago, I want to thank the cam neeley foundation and all the comedians and people who put this show together to help families going through such a tramatic time in their lives. The show was fantastic. Denis Leary is the BEST!!!!!! Lenny Clarke looks amazing!!! All the comedians were terrific. Couldn't stop laughing!!! I recommend everyone should see this show, you will have a great time and its for a worthy cause. Thank you Denis Leary and everyone for such a great evening!!! Can't wait for the next show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was great to see such an array of big comedy stars in person together on one evening, particularly so many from the Boston comedy scene. With all of the performers, it was inevitable that the event ran the gamut from not very funny to hysterical. Denis Leary worked very hard as the MC, and if he's the point person in putting this together, kudos to him! However, while I've enjoyed him on TV, not particularly on this night. The evening definitely had its great moments, and I'm glad I went to support a worthy cause.

Comics Come Home was awesome. Dennis Leary was entertaining and hilarious. My favorite comic of the night was Jim Gaffigan. All the comedians were funny. Once again, it was a very good show. It was a little long and I could do without Denis singing. The homosexual comedian was not funny in my opinion. I like good comics. I don't think he had any funny material. He tried to be funny. Lenny and Denis were right on with their interpetation of todays youth.

This was my fourth year going. Some shows are better than others. First let me say...I had a great time but this was probably my least favorite show besides the Wanda ordeal. I thought the comedians were just ok. My favorite tonight was Dennis Leary. OMG he was so funny. I can listen to him for hours. Then I would have to say Robert Kelly then Lenny Clark. So even though it wasnt as good as previous years... its for a great cause and still an enjoyable night. Ill be back. Great job.

I was extremely happy with 5 of the 8 comedians present. What a great idea and worthy cause! Was shocked by Wanda Sykes' hostility and absence of comedy. Her presentation was very uncomfortable for me. Then was so disappointed in Denis Leary's berating of the audience for their reaction to Ms. Sykes. She was inappropriate and not at all funny. Also did not appreciate Mr.Leary's gross overuse of the "F" word. Nick Di Paolo was very offensive and inappropriate. I was appalled by his chiding of the NFL players for wearing pink in support for breast cancer awareness. This, at a cancer benefit! I commend Bill Burr for turning the tone around and providing a very funny, clean show. I want to hear more from him! Thank you!!!

This was my 4th year and it is always a great show with very funny comics. This year had a great bill, the show started off awesome as always by Dennis Leary. Was a great show until Wanda Sykes did her spot. Unfortunately, her set was not funny it was more of a rant and it put a damper on the night. Dennis tried hard to get the show back on track but the next comic did the same. The last two comics of the night brought the show back to laughs, but sadly the damage was done and people left early before Dennis did do his send off song. In past years the crowd joined him in the song but this year the crowd was not with it after the night of not so many laughs. Hoping for Jimmy Fallon to return next year and sing with Leary. Other then this mishap the show is a great night for a great cause. A must see

I look forward to this event every year. This year was no exception. It's a great evening for a great cause. A friend even flew in from Bermuda to attend! Unfortunately, 2 of the comics - Wanda Sykes and Nick DePaolo ruined the evening for many and made it uncomfortable for the rest of us. Dennis Leary did a masterful job controlling the situation and Billy Burr and Bobby Kelly were an amazing way to end the evening, but I was definitely left with an uneasy feeling. Thus 4 instead of the usual 5 stars I give the event. I hope people do not hold what happened against the Cam Neely Foundation - they do great work. I look forward to next year!

Although I empathize w Wanda Sykes, I didn't appreciate the long political outrage she bestowed on us. We've heard it already! Say you peace and get on with the show, the agenda was comedy. Did not appreciate Dennis Leary and Wanda telling the audience to F-off. She never did come back for the final good bye. Thanks to Robert Kelly and Bill Burr for snapping the show back to it's intended purpose.

I've been going to the show for quite a few years and this is the first time I felt very awkward. It's unfortunate that two of the comedians conducted themselves in a poor manner. Their views of the presidential election should have not been there whole act of the show. I rated the show a three star simply because of the comedians not because of the cause of the Cam Neely foundation.

This is my fourth year attending this event. I don't want to bash the entire event, however, we had to leave early because of the unruly behavior of those performing and in the audience. Dennis Leary is funny as always and he has done a great job over the years trying to bring good comics in to make a great show. I applaud his effort to make a difference for the Can Neeley foundation, but I would feel remiss if I didn't mention that this was the worst show I have ever been to regarding comedy. I should have seen it coming with all of the unrest in the nation right now, but I was disappointed in the behavior of both the comics and the audience. This was supposed to be a night for charity and comedy. An event that most people would appreciate to "escape" the current political landscape. Some of the comics were ill prepared for their time on stage and used it to express their political views. This was not the proper forum for that behavior. I felt bad for the foundation and hope that it will not suffer because of poor judgement on some of those performing.

I've attended this event in the past. My husband and I went this year expecting to have a night of laughs. The show began with a number of great performances. Things went very bad when Wanda Sykes performed. She obviously came with a preplanned political agenda. (I thought this was supposed to be a night of fun). She was rude, her performance came off not as a comedy routine, but a political admonishment for anyone that voted for Trump. She yelled at the audience telling them to go f________ themselves and ended her tirade by flipping everyone off. That wasn't bad enough, but Dennis Leary laid on the guilt after she left the stage shaking his head and chastising the audience for their behavior. This show is put on for a great cause the Neely Foundation, but I'm not sure I'll be attending in the future.

Thanx to Denis & the enablers and all the performers for #22- The 3 songs by the enablers were awesome and wish they were available on some medium to share with friends- disappointing that a couple of pinheads showed their lack of class and most likely inability to drink responsibly in their pathetic treatment on Ms Sykes Hope she understands that a few d-heads do not represent Boston and she will return & get the respect she deserves- Wish Cam's relative the best for speedy & sucessful recovery!

In the realm of local charitable events in New England, Comics Come Home is a staple of excellence that has lasted over 20 years. The efforts of both Dennis & Cam has propelled this event into a must see every year. I felt honored to be in the audience and, in a small way, contribute to this wonderful event. All the performers did so on their own dime. They should all be appreciated for the time & effort that they gave in pleasing the large gathering. Given the tense climate present just 4 days after a tumultuous election season, the choices of political banter perhaps was ill-advised by a couple of the performers. That being said, the reactions were more disturbing. Given the reason we were all their for I felt that booing and ridiculing were unnecessary. All it did was turn a great night ugly. This is something that was not needed, no matter what your political beliefs are. We were there as one and left separated. Not what I was planning on. I will attend next years CCH and hope that we all pledge to just have a good time, the way the originators of the event planned.

I've gone to this event for the last 3 years in a row, and this year was HORRIBLE except for Bill Burr. However, it was fueled by political grandstanding, and I don't think it reflects what the event really is or will be in the future. Hopefully people that were there this year, or thinking of going in the future wont let this years event prevent them from attending in the future because it really is a great event for an even better cause.

This was our sixth time at this event. As usual we loved the majority of the show. Two comics, however, failed to remember this was a comedy night for cancer, not a political platform to be rude and unfunny. Trying to determine if we'll go back again next year. The tone of those two comedians ruined the good feeling of the night.

I felt the two comics Sykes and DiPaolo, brought too much discourse with their act. , Given the polarized election that just ended one would recognize that this was not the time for rancid political humor. Both representing opposite ends of the political spectrum, ruined an otherwise good show for a worthy cause. Dennis O'Leary wasn't thinking straight!.

Everything was great until Wanda Sykes and Nick DiPaolo came out and started ranting about politics. This is an event I look forward to every year and they ruined the show. We go there to laugh and support a great cause. And their routines left many of the audience with a bad feeling and the mood became overly intense for a comedy show and was dividing the audience. They really brought the show down. Hopefully this will not affect future years of this great event and cause!!!!! Fortunately, Bill Burr came out and made everyone laugh and lifted our spirits backup. Thanks to all the other comedians for the laughs!!!!

Love this show every year. A few opinions: Jimmy Fallon has been phoning it in for 2 years; Jim Gaffigan was missed; Louis CK was hilarious; new-to-the-show Chris Distefano was fantastic; Ray Romano was surprisingly good. Good to see Denis Leary and Cam Neely, as always. The show was really, really loud and the spotlights blinded you on occasion.

This is the third year of what has become a fall ritual: the road trip to Boston from Vermont. This year I had a full car, and we all left this show with aching faces from laughing so much. Any bill with Louis CK, Steven Wright, Ray Romano and Denis Leary on it could not fail! It was great to see a South Shore girl kill--Christine Hurley rocks! Chris Distefano was a nice surprise. I hope that he keeps doing standup. Lenny Clarke is always fantastic, and it was great to see Steve Sweeney. The only disappointment was Jimmy Fallon, who looked wasted and read almost his entire routine from a teleprompter on the floor. He was on fire in 2013, but he really needs to pull himself together. He was definitely the weak link in this stellar lineup.

I have attened the past three Comics Come Home shows. The tickets are not too expensive, plus they are to help Neely's cancer reseach, they have the best comedians, you can't really find a bad seat at the Agganis Arena, and the drinks were reasonably priced. Its great to have a group of friends to go with, perfect for one on one dates or just a friend. I would reccomend this for absolutely everyone. I had the best night with my boyfriend and I cannot wait until next year!

This is my 4th year going, so my opinion may already be considered biased. However, every year the show is unforgettable and (most importantly) for a great cause. The most novel thing about the show is that you have several comics. Though Denis Leary is the "main attraction", the array of comedians offers a little something for everyone. Inevitably there are comedians that aren't your forte or perhaps not your flavor (for what ever reason) but you're still able to enjoy yourself and have a lot of great laughs because there's always another comics that will tickle your fancy. All-in-all, fantastic show. I love going and worth the trip. Besides, where else can you donate to a great cause and not only feel good about it, but have a lot of laughs while doing so?

This show is a guaranteed good time every year. You literally laugh the entire time. This year's comedians were Lenny Clarke, Pete Correale, Thomas Dale, Jimmy Dunn, Adam Ferrara, Jim Norton, Steven Wright and Joe Yannetty. Most have ties to Boston and volunteer their time to benefit the Cam Neely Foundation, which provides housing to families of cancer patients undergoing treatment in Boston and funds many other things as well. Denis Leary is the host every year, doing his comedy throughout the show. He is definitely my favorite, along with Lenny Clarke. Steven Wright is also a long-time favorite of mine, very dry humor, tries not to laugh, but can't help himself. But just about every comedian is equally funny. My friends and I never miss the show!

The downer part was that a big reason we laid out $150 per ticket was to see Craig Ferguson - a personal favorite - and Jim Gaffigan was on original ticket as well. Neither showed and it was never explained why??? That disappointment was dissipated by a few things. The comics that were there (including the late replacements) were awesome! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had sore stomach muscles from laughter! Perhaps we need to work out more, but seriously, the show was excellent. Supporting the Cam Neely foundation should make everyone who bought tickets feel pretty good. The cause is important, noble, and more importantly, legit. Denis Leary can sing I m an asshole songs and we all identify and have a good laugh. But at the bottom of it all - he cares, and we care. It was great to spend an evening with a bunch of fellow assholes who are really good solid people at heart! Hats off to Cam and Denis and thanks for a GREAT evening!

We have made the last 4 years, this one was side splitting from start to the finish. Could not believe how fast the night went by. At one point the 6 of us had tears running down our faces.

Kudos to the cause which motivated me to go but what unfolded was disheartening! Except for a couple of the younger comics, the veterans were shockingly poor and out of ideas. God save Comedy!

This is 4th year attending and while last year show (2016) had strange moments, this year got back on track. Fallon has been here before and I feel this was his best performance. Leary does great job pulling this together with great mix of new comedians and the seasoned vets. It is for a great cause and fun night. Bobby Kelley stole the show and had by far (in my opinion) the best set (I was in tears laughing as well as the group of people I attended with). See you next year.

The night was a lot of fun. The comics were all good. Dennis was great. The lip sync battle with jimmy and Dennis was fun, and having John Mayer show up was great.

Great event - this was our 5th year attending in a row. Usually there is a more star-studded lineup, but it seems that Craig Ferguson and Jim Gaffigan backed out. Most of the comics were excellent. Although Jimmy Fallon's gig is most certainly NOT standup. :)

Comedians amaze with the rare ability to cut to the jugular of the world's most pressing problems with mega doses of humor and humanity. I really loved the show!

What a night ! Did not stop laughing from start to finish (unlike two years ago when a couple of the bigger names were just boring/disgusting). Even without Craig Ferguson and Jim Gaffigan (who?), the line up and jokes/songs were hilarious. Denis Leary is soooo good (old orange dude - haha) and bravo to Jimmy Fallon for making it - he is just brilliant and their lip sync battle was fantastic especially when John Mayer came on stage to join them - loved it and such a great cause !

Comics Come Home is a yearly event for us. We look forward to seeing big name comedians all on one stage. This year we were extremely disappointed that 2 of the bigger names that were advertised did not perform. While the other comedians were very funny a vast majority of them I could have seen for $20 and not the $300 I paid. The only saving grace is that the money went to the Neely House.

Fallen was awful and he must have been drunk or high as he was slurring his words and wasn t making sense . He was supposed to be the highlight of the show and he truly wasn t. The opening act for for more professional and funny. The rest of the show was excellent.

Good show as always, money goes to great cause. Was disappointed with the endless soapbox rant from Wanda. Good jokes about both Donald and Hillary were done by others but Wanda obviously had an agenda and would not stop. The audience reaction should have clued her in to change the subject. There is a time and place and a fund raiser is not the time nor the place. Billy Burr's set was probably more of a reaction to Wanda's set. With that said, Great seats, great cause, will always continue to support the foundation by attending.

Wanda Sykes acted like she was at a Hillary Clinton rally. All the other comics found a way to share their dislike for Trump through humor, but Wanda Sykes wasn't interested in even trying to do that. She ruined a fun charity event for everyone in attendance.

Visiting Boston from Chicago for the weekend and looking for a show to cap off my visit. Saw my all time FAVE Bill Burr was performing, so I bought the best seats available and began my eager anticipation. Wanda's political comments were not jokes, they were comments. Being reprimanded by Dennis for "making it political" and not showing Wanda respect was the icing on the cake....followed by Nick's nonsense. Whatever. Look Dennis, we paid money for a good cause and to laugh at jokes. Don't reprimand us for "making it political". We aren't up on the stage, Wanda made it political. I feel robbed. I spent 30-45 minutes feeling stressed because of this portion of the show. If Bill Burr hadn't been so hilarious, I would have wanted my money back. I feel I am owed 1/2 my ticket cost back. Half the show was spent stressing and only half was spent enjoying myself. This was not the ending to what was otherwise a phenomenal 1st time visit to Boston that I expected.

The rest were garbage and the Boston audience are hypocrites. Shame on them for booing Wanda when she said the exact same things other, white male comics said before. Way to go Boston! You'll never get a cent from me again!

Really enjoyed most of the show! I was totally embarrassed as to how the crowd treated Wanda Sykes-it was awful. And then they booed Denis Leary!! Some people really ruined it for others. The rest of the show was great as always and I hope to go again!

Paid $200 plus parking to get preached to by 2 comics about politics. Exactly what I did not need, even if it had been free.

This was my first time attending Comics Come Home. The first comic was funny, the second and third were all right and then came Wanda Sykes, where things just got extremely awkward and uncomfortable. This is a charity event for cancer, there was no need to make a political statement here, even worse was Nick DiPaolo following Wanda. Thank you Bill Burr and Robert Kelly for getting things back on track and being the funniest two at the event
