First time listened to Laith Al-Saadi and I was stunned with the amazing quality of the performance. I will definitely see them again. Cowboy Mouth was, as always, amazing! I come back for their show every time they are in town. Their positive energy, the way they engage the audience and uplifting message in their lyrics is unforgettable. You always want to come back for another show!!!!!

Cowboy Mouth! What can I say, Fred and crew rocked the Founders room. I was jumping and dancing the whole time. A great intimate venue, fist bumps and high-fives to the band included!

Took family including 16 and 12 year daughters who are big fans of Cowboy Mouth. Missed opening band but had a rail on he balcony all night. Vocals were sometimes hard to hear. But their show was AWESOME. My 12 yr old got invited on stage for final song to play the drums. Drinks were gold and fast. I think since it was a Thursday night had an affect. Don't pass up seeing this band live.

It was very crowded with overpriced food and drinks. No crowd control and no signs made it very hard to get to the reserved seating section. Loverboy was great. Billy Squier had sound problems. He also spent more time playing songs no one knew and had way too many jam fest on the guitar instead of playing songs people really wanted to hear. We left after an hour and a half. Many people left before us and several in the crowd were complaining.

I only caught Loverboy and Billy Squier. Loverboy was the middle act. Mike Reno has had trouble sounding even good in the past. That was not a problem today! He had great volume and range. The crowd was smaller than that for Squier, but it was so much more fun. The band played crowd favorites with lots of energy. Paul Dean kicked ass on guitar, and the bass was a solid player. Matt Frenette was phenomenal manning the drums, giving all he had. Doug Johnson put great emotion into keyboard and backup vocals. I only wish Mike Reno would have had a little more enthusiasm, but that was the only detractor to a great 80-90 minute show. Granted, Squier is an awesome guitarist. He is still extremely skilled without doubt. However, I did not pay to go to a jam session. Several songs ran 7-10 minutes with the guitar solos. When he would let the audience sing out the words, not many knew what to sing. That should have been a hint to stop trying the sing-a-long. Still, it continued to be an uncomfortable reality. He honestly did not seem excited to be playing. It had the feel of, "This is my job, and my heart is not into entertaining these people. I will entertain myself." We ended up leaving soon after the encore started. Loverboy is a summer festival favorite, and I would have loved to have another 30 minutes if they could give it. Why weren't the B.C. boys the headliners? I simply do not understand. My rating would have been at least four stars if they could have closed out the night with some well-known driving hits, or even something from their latest album, "Just Getting Started". If Squier headlines again, count me out.

Loverboy rocked the stage. The $30 tickets (plus ticketmaster's fees...) were up close and personal. The $5 tickets were very close as well if you could nudge your way to the front. We all had a great time and Loverboy sounded as good as they ever have.

We arrived to see Cowboy Mouth, Loverboy and Billy Squier. Cowboy Mouth really knew how to have fun and get the audience involved!!! They were so good! I am a new fan!! Loverboy was good but too much bass and just about knocked us out of our seats. But the highlight of the night was Billy Squier!! He did not disappoint and played for a long time. Great show!

Cowboy Mouth was great fun! Loverboy rocked the house! Billy Squier was less than satisfying! It was like he just wanted to sit up on stage and rock out with the boys than to entertain the crowd. He didn't play much music that anyone recognized and people were all leaving early. He was a disappointment, but the other two ROCKED OUT!!!

This was one of the most exhilarating concerts I have ever been to in my life. Cowboy Mouth makes you believe that life is this one big party of fun and your time in their House will be remembered fondly for a long time. I have seen over 300 concerts in my ancient time and they shot into the top ten that night. If you really belive in the power of the Mouth, you will be rewarded with a night of clapping, dancing, and screaming for the sheer fun of it. I went with my 19 year old son and he had the same incredible time. He was mad that he didn't drag his friends with him. Just like when Zappa plays Zappa come to town, when Cowboy Mouth comes again, I'll be buying a ticket not only for myself, but for my brother as well. Go...believe...enjoy you red cake with your red spoon.

Fred on the drums at the front of the stage. The entire place like putty in his hands as he molds us with his chants of "Get Closer, get closer" and "Now everybody scream!!!" I've been hundreds possibly thousands of concerts and nobody is a better showman on the small stage than Fred. The rest of the band is phenomenal and all of them get into the show. If you want to see a great live concert....Go see Cowboy Mouth!!!

I've seen the band a number of times .. musically they were tight, energy level excellent. Amazing Fred can maintain that intensity at his age ;) .. Look forward to seeing them at Park Tavern in the Spring. Enjoyed Fred in audience demanding New-Orleans type participation from the crowd. Don't attend a CBM show and plan to sit on your hands.

Cowboy Mouth never disappoints and never gets old. Great show and just love the energy they bring. If you don't enjoy the show something is wrong with you. The opening band left much to be desired. If you ever want to see what old rockers look like still playing live shows which contain the same riff in every song they play .. Check out El Camino. The car used to be cool, just like this band.

Cowboy Mouth as usual blew the roof off as usual. The newest bass player in a long line of bass players seemed to fit right in and never missed a beat. I've been going to Cowboy Mouth shows since 1992 and although I feel like they lost a great deal when Paul Sanchez was removed from the band Fred and JTG still put on a hell of a show with Fred up his usual antics. My only issue and I guess I knew this going in but casinos need to stop limiting the time that bands can perform. Even though CM ignored the time constraints to a degree the show was still much too short and I will probably not attend another casino show with the exception of reunion type bands that I see for nostalgic reasons.

Cowboy Mouth puts on a good, high energy show. The smaller venue (originally expected to be in the main Center Stage venue, but was instead in a small room upstairs), I think the more intimate setting without seating may have been better for this band and audience. I would have enjoyed it much more if I was twenty years younger. It was a very positive, energetic show. Fred would have kept going all night if he was allowed.

I experienced a CM show for the first time in New Orleans. You show up for a show and catch the opening act and think to yourself, "that was nice, good music, etc." then wait a little bit until you experience the band you came to see. There is non-stop pure energy from the start the moment the lights go down and Fred starts on the drums! Matt, John Thomas, and Cassandra kick in followed up by Fred belting out a song that can motivate the dead to wake up! There is no sitting down at a CM show! If you do manage to sit, be prepared for Fred to point you out in the crowd and energize you out of your chair! You will be dancing, you will feel good vibes from the band as well as the crowd around you, and you will be smiling from start to end of show! When the lights come up, each member of the band will be looking forward to meeting you in person. Go up to them and don't be shy!

The advertising for this event was non-existent. The opening acts and warm up were laughable. And the attendance was terrible. When the concert finally started, there wasn't enough of a crowd to fill the first 3 rows. There was less than 100 people in attendance. And then Cowboy Mouth started to play... If you have never seen them live, do yourself a favor and go seek them out. It is a religious experience. I've never seen anything like them. I guarantee that EVERY person in attendance had the time of their lives and felt like they just saw the best show in earth. What a band!

The show was great. Anyone who has not seen one of their live shows is missing a fun time. They give one of the best live shows around. It was the first time I had seen them in an indoor venue and wondered how they would translate to an indoor show. it took about 2 minutes to ally my fears, they were as much fun to experience in as out. They don"t ask that you participate in their act but demand it. If you cannot get jazzed up for one of their shows there is no hope for you. You will enjoy the show and make new friends. Cowboy Mouth clearly has some talent in the band. I first remember becoming aware of CM around 20 years ago. At the time, the drummer Fred's, antics were extremely entertaining. I saw a handful of shows over the years, the most recent having been 2011. It was fun enough and felt it was good entertainment for a 3rd date. Now seeing the band again in 2018 at the House of Blues with my now husband and we were entertained. However, we left a little early since the show was the same as what we had already seen. We just spent a week on the Rock Boat where CM played at least 3 shows. We heard Fred yelling, "The name of the band is Cowboy Mouth." and "Put your hands in the air." so many times it became a running joke. Other passengers were heard saying that they avoid CM shows because everyone is the same. While other artists switched up their playlists and played the same songs a few times over the course of the week, CM did the same thing over and over. I find it unfortunate that the band's musical abilities aren't utilized to entertain the audience. Fred's wild and crazy antics could be used to keep the audience motivated while the band showcased their catalog of music created over a couple decades. Instead, there are only glimpses of musical expertise between the audience being yelled at to put their hands in the air and scream. Again and again. . . .

I came to learn that these guys are an institution in the music biz, with their own legion of reverential followers. I totally get why! This is fast-paced, hard-charging, good old rock n' roll, delivered to you by consummate showman Fred LeBlanc. There's not a lot of nuance here (although they are excellent musicians and some of the guitar work was outstanding), but it is non-stop entertainment. If you aren't jumping up and down and screaming "Cowboy Mouth" for at least part - if not all - of this show, then you might want to check your vitamin intake. Five stars for pure fun!

Great band! Better live than in studio. I'm a fan since Dash Rip Rock and Red Rockers days. Changed my trip from Brazil just to go to the concert. Great energy! The name of the band is....

Is like an old-fashion Southern gospel revival. But replace "gospel" with "rock & roll. " To sit perfectly still throughout a CM concert, you have to be paralyzed or dead. This still may not matter. If rock & roll is a church, then Fred LeBlanc is its bishop, and Matt, Cass, and JTG are its acolytes.

Does not matter how old or young you are are, these guys will get you moving and keep you jumping. Great crowd, broad age range, die-hards and newbies alike got into the band. Left my voice and any hair that I had left @ the venue! Great time...

Seen Cowboy Mouth several times, but not in the past 2 years. I wasn't very impressed. New music wasn't very good, they altered some of their better songs (and not for the better), and it seemed like they chanted "the name of the band is Cowboy Mouth" more than they played actual songs. Hope it was just an off night for them and not the way they play shows these days. Also telling was that the upper deck at HOB Houston was practically empty.

I've seen these guys about 8 times over the years. Always a fun, high energy show. Sound was good. I like the House Of Blues. Staff there was great too. Surprised Fred didn't walk through the audience though. I love to introduce people to this band. Took a girl I recently started dating and she liked the show.

Cowboy Mouth is one of those excellent bands that consistently provides solid, polished music, but has never hit the mainstream like you would expect. Not only are they high energy, but their music takes life head on in both lyrics and delivery. Absolutely amazing every time! Catch one of their shows and you will be hooked forever!

no better way to end Mardi Gras than with Cowboy Mouth at the House of Blues. The band was great! They came out ready to rock! I can't believe it is possible, but they looked to be having more fun the me. Even though some bozos kept throwing beads all night, the band kept smiling. They played for 2 hours, pausing briefly for 2 marraige proposals.

Was very impressed from the.opening numbers. The montage of their hits was a wonderful teaser. The venue, however, left a lot to be desired. Cowboy Mouth is a very engaging band that interacts with the audience. The assigned seats and table/booth set up of Potawanomi really segregated the audience. Fred went beyond expectations by climbing across booths to get the Audience moving. The energy could be felt to the back of the balcony.
