Beth Hart

First of all one must understand...I am a big fan of Beth Hart. She can do no wrong. Case in point , the Bijou Show on March 1st in Knoxville TN. This lady was incredible and yes...on fire . Anyone familiar with Beth Hart knows she has a voice unlike any in recent musical history. There is such power and control....a most excellent talent unrivaled. Add to this songs that carve deeply into ones heart expressed and sang with stunning emotion and it becomes an almost spiritual experience. Her band is flawless and they know how to rock. Throw in the cozy atmosphere of The Bijou and what we have is an evening long to remember. If you don't know Beth Hart and you are looking for some real music....she is the one.

She was amazing. So genuine and raw. Her stories and emotion are touching and real. A true artist who loves what she does and it comes through in her performance. I ve been a fan for many years. One of my all time favorites shows.

Beth Hart is an amazing performer. Her presence resonates with the audience/fans, who were engaged and happy to witness her bluesy rock style of music. A must see and be prepared to want to see her again!

what a concert, great show ,beth was amazing even met her afterwards. the only disappointment was you werent allowed to take photos!

Very soulful at times, rockin at others. Love eharing some good jams, her band did a great job too. They only played for 40 minutes though. This should have been a headliner, especially with Slash as a featured artist. There was one band going on after her, I did not stay for the last band. I did not think any other act could have topped hers that night. I called that afternoon to see if cameras were allowed into the venue and was told they were. When I arrived, and after standing in line for 1/2 hour with security and a bunch of talking to pass the time, I was informed right before going in that cameras were not allowed. So I had walk a 1/2 mile back to my car and hope it did not get stolen. This is the venues, (the Whisky) fault, not the bands, but I thought it needed mentioned.

I have traveled to 4 states to see her perform. There are not words that can properly describe her performance. Her voice is like NO OTHER.....soulful, heartfelt and effortless sound like an angel! I am totally obsessed with her.....

This was one of the most amazing concerts! The opener was fantastic and Beth absolutely delivered. I was very happy to see an American audience embrace and enjoy her! I saw here a few years back in Berlin, was a member of a VIP group that got the meet her, and she's the most wonderful human being I have ever met! She is a delight on stage and off. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

This was a great show by a singer with an encredible voice and great taste in material. I liked when she went into the audience, you have to love an artist who's not afraid of her fans! The show was a pleasant surprise all around!

We drove 3.5 hours for the show. We would do it again!

Never heard of Beth Hart until Jan 2015 when I was drinkin in an oceanfront dive in Fla. Needless to say, I have fallen in love again. Couldn't get tix for Nashville, sold out. First chance to see her was Center Stage, Atl. Best F'in show I've seen in a blue moon. Brilliant, great band, next time they're in Nashville, Atl, hell, greater southeast, I'll be there-RC

My wife and I throughly enjoyed the show! She's an accomplished talent and genuinely is in a great place in her career.

The Beth Hart concert at House of Blues Houston was a fantastic experience! She took the stage exactly on time, sang her heart out, came back for an extra long encore, and left it all on the stage! You could feel her emotion in your own heart. 2 songs that she did brought tears to my eyes because they were so personal to her. Definitely catch her if you can. Incredibly strong voice and great entertainer!

AMAZING!!! Beth is incredible. Performance top shelf for sure. I wouldn't miss seeing her again.

Great night! This show sold out in a couple of hours with no advertising or marketing. I was lucky to stumble onto her web site right when they went on sale. Otherwise I would not have had a chance to go to the show. Next time she needs a much bigger venue. Before the show, I got a chance to speak with the Guitar Tech (best of luck with KWS band) and John Nichols (Long time Beth Hart Band guitarist) for about 15 minutes. Beth even came out for a few minutes. GREAT people! I appreciate them taking the time to talk and show us pictures of the crowds at the shows in Europe. The show was wonderful. Beth already had the crowd won over but she still worked hard and gave it her all. Janis Joplin would be jealous. Beth is my favorite vocalist. Period. The band was solid, professional and dressed in matching black suits. At times all of the guitars were matching black Strats. Sounds campy but came off OK. Usually I am drawn to watch the guitar players but with Beth on stage I payed attention to the vocals. She is that good! Beth is also very good at connecting with the crowd. I swear she smiled at me. Although probably everyone there thinks that she smiled at them too. It was obvious that she appreciates the love from the audience. She lights up while on stage getting energy from the crowd. Beth has a lot of dialog between songs and it adds to the experience. The people in the crowd were very nice, good people. No pushing or shoving. Not a surprise as Beth attracts the best fans. The Blues bring good people! We got to know those near us. Many were ready to faint from excitement and everyone knew the lyrics. Reminds me of the way some of the fans were for the Beatles. I am not kidding. If you are a Beth fan then you LOVE her. I would say that this is my 4th best concert experience, behind Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foghat. I love bands where the crowd really enjoys the music and adds to the experience.

Beth Hart Band rocked from start to finish. And then Slash came in and they had fun together. Playing off each other until it reached a crecendo!! Their finale was one of the best!

Beth was amazing last night at the Whiskey a Go Go. She started off acoustic and built to a crescendo with her terrific band. And when Slash joined her on stage, the placed shook with excitement. It was a great show. The only negative was the security staff's obsession with catching fans taking pictures of a great artist performing, with their cell phone cameras. Lighten up guys!

Amazing show... it was nothing flashy or fancy, very simple set up and the band rocked it!!! It was my first time to see her and i would go see her again. I just wish there was some sort of meet and greet package.

2nd time seeing Beth in concert. 1st time in very small venue, Smith's Olde Bar, Atlanta, Ga, May 7, 2013. Like a fine wine, she gets better with age.

I had great expectations for the Beth Hart concert because I have loved her music for a long time. She did not disappoint! She is expressive and intense and a very fine entertainer with so much talent! The Bijou Theatre was big enough to have lots of fan energy but small enough to appreciate Beth Hart's personal style.

This was 5th time for me to see Beth in concert. The other shows started with high energy, jumping tunes, but this time she began with a soulful "Your Heart is as Black as Night" song, it was great and set the tone for the evening. What a blessing to be able to see her perform.

Passionate, Real, Raw and Captivating!!! Not 1 dull moment.. her Energy and Talent surpassed anything I imagined.

My second time seeing Beth and it was even better than the first. (And the first was outstanding). Her performance was mesmerizing she absolutely owned the stage and her audience. She can go from gritty blues to rock to smooth. One of the best shows ever!

I love Beth Hart music and her show in Knoxville was the first time seeing her live. She has a God given gift as a songwriter and her lyrics touch my soul. The band is wonderful but when Beth sits alone at the piano is what I enjoyed the most it was nothing short of spectular .Beth's show provided a great balance for those who like a more rocking show and those like me who like her just with her piano. I have been to a lot of concerts in my life and her show ranks in the top of all of my favorites. If you love music I would put seeing her live on your bucket list.

Opening Act King Solomon Hicks was awesome! BETH you never disappoint! Love you!

Beth is able to do such a large variety of music, pop, blues, rock n roll etc. Why she isn't recognized and played on every music station in their US blows me away. Everyone should see her live IMHO.

Beth has such power, energy and emotion. She gave it 100%, all heart and soul. My husband thought she was in her 20's, she put so much physicality into her performance. From the time she strutted down through the audience until her last encore, she was flawless throughout. Her opener, King Solomon Hicks was also stellar, a first class musician, and his contribution was a perfect mesh with Beth's. I hope she comes to San Diego again soon.

As a long time fan her show was everything and more that I had hoped it would be. I sharing from the heart (Hart) of the back story of some of her songs touched my wife and I moving us to tears. Please feed your soul and go see her show!!!

One of the best shows to be seen- have waited a long time for her to come to Dallas and it was worth the wait! She is a great performer!

This was the 8th time I ve seen Beth Hart live. Do yourself a favor and see her live. All her shows have been amazing. And this Venue is so pretty and has great acoustics.

Beth put on a great show! Her and her group was so into the show it made everyone want more. It seemed that she even played 3-4 more songs than planned. We could have stayed longer but Beth had played and sung so hard that I am sure she was very tired. The opening act - Marina V - Was very good. Her voice is amazing! Thanks for such a great show and venue!

I've been a fan of hers for a few years but this is the first time I've had the opportunity to see her perform live. She far exceeded my expectations which were high to begin with. She is so talented, energetic and emotional.

This was one of the best concerts I have been to. Beth Hart was engaging, enthusiastic and her performance was heartfelt. We loved it!

None of the four of us attending together wanted the evening to end. She s one of a kind with a world class Blues voice. Seeing her I a small venue like this is very hard to beat.

I 1st experienced a Beth Hart concert in 2013 and was blown away with her passion, lyrics, and connection with her audience. She is able to touch the depths of your being with her powerful, soulful voice, lyrics, and presence. If there is only one concert I can see every year for the rest of my life, it is hers. I am not exaggerating.

I had bought these tickets as a birthday present for my boyfriend as he is a HUGE fan of Beth Hart and has never seen/heard her live. I personally didn't have much interest as I really didn't know her music. However, the funk and blues in which Eric Gales started off the night, had me on my feet and shaking my booty. Then when Beth Hart came on, she just blew my mind. Her voice control, sultry soulful voice, and personal touch to the show was SO much more than I had expected. She is now by far one of my 2 favorite female vocalists of all time. (Annie Lenox has been my #1 for decades.) Beth is a brilliant artist and performer. I cannot wait to see her perform again! And my boyfriend was in complete awe. He told me that was THE BEST birthday present ever! :D

Eric Gales opened up for Beth, and put on a great show. His playing was flawless. After his set, the great Beth Hart came out and played many songs old and new. Eric came out for support during a few songs, and they were great together. The show exceeded my expectations! I cannot wait to see Beth again. With that being said, the mix was just not good as far as the sound goes. The sound was muddy at times, and you couldn't hear the guitar or vocals at times throughout the show. There was also a lot of clipping/distortion. Hopefully the venue can get that corrected.

Outstanding as always!!! Soooo grateful she came to Michigan and I hope she will come back next year.

This is the 4 th time I've seen Beth and she was unbelievable. Every time I see her she is better than the last. I felt her energy and her voice fills the room with whatever she is feeling. Happy , sexy , sad you feel it all. I highly recommend seeing Beth Hart she is captivating.

Beth hart brought her butterscotch voice to the newly opened van buren venue and proceeded to rock the house with her newer music and also from screaming for my supper. She was very engaging with the audience. Even with a couple technical problems she put on a great show. If you get a chance to see her it will be a show that i think you will love.

Such a talented singer/songwriter .... and an energetic, giving, and engaging performer. She pours her heart into every song. I only have two regrets from this performance, 1) it could have gone on for another hour, and 2) she didn't sing, "Tell Her You Belong to Me."

Beth's show September 12 was nothing short of magical. Her vocals are from another planet. Her talents were on full display, piano, guitar, and an eclectic blend of songs she wrote that showed everyone there another side of Beth. New venue, with good acoustics and laid back attitude. I was amazed I got to see her in a venue this smanll. Wonderful show. Those of you holding tickets for later shows in the tour are very lucky indeed!

Beth Hart's performance was Outstanding! Love the way she chats it up with audience. My friend Kasey went to the stage and asked Beth to say Hi to one of her biggest fans Michele, Beth said something like.....love your beautiful red locks.....and then, Hi Michele, I see you up there. What a voice. Beth Hart is part angel, part dirt biker. She has one of the best voices of any musician out there, and she has the heart and the soul to match. Beth isn't afraid of sharing her feelings -- whether through her songs or her covers or through the stories she shares with us. The Wilbur is one of the best venues imaginable for a Beth Hart concert, especially if you're lucky enough to have a seat closer to the stage. It's such a personal experience. FIVE stars and even more.

Beth Hart is the best singer/songwriter to come along in a long time, and it's not even close. Her soulful, sexy voice pulls you in on the first note and 2 hours later you find yourself begging for more. After seeing her live the only words you will be able to utter are thank you - thank you for putting your vulnerability and life lessons on display and making all of us feel like somehow this thing called life is all going to be okay. She is simply amazing.

Our 4 th time- probably our favorite concert. Beth once again puts everything she has into her performance and if the crowd responds like the Virginia folks did she gets even more energized. Always amazing is her voice presence as well as piano playing while singing. She has recently thrown in 2 songs playing bass guitar alongside of Jon's acoustic guitar. Again, the most talented blues rock singer you never heard of . At under $60 a ticket I feel like I stole something !!!

I have seen many shows over the years and this show at the Steel Stacks in Bethleham PA was without a doubt was the best i have ever seen. Would travel hundreds of miles to see her again.

I have been waiting since seeing Joe Bonnamassa last fall for this show. OMFG is an understatement if that's possible. Beth you touched everyone's heart. This show is a journey of sight, sound and emotion. I haven't stopped talking about what my wife and I just experienced! You truly are the best Beth and thank you for taking us along.

What a show! This woman not only sings her heart out, but she plays a mean piano, the guitar, and is a surprisingly good whistler to boot. Wished I had better seats because she likes to wander around the audience or sit practically on the stage, which doesn't work so well for people viewing from nose-bleed territory. These tickets sell out quickly, so you have to be fast.

Can't wait for the next opportunity to see Beth Hart!

Opening act was terrible. Okay, I've gotten that out of the way. First time I've seen Beth and I really thought I would enjoy her. Well, was I in for a shock! We were knocked over, amazed, overwhelmed, astonished, astounded and more! She left it all on the stage. The energy, her band and that voice, oh my! My wife knew nothing about her and she walked out of the theater completely blown away. If Beth doesn't win every musical award given, then somebody's not listening. Such a night at the Neptune Theatre! You knew it was going to be great, no doubt. But she has been a surprise. She is so unique, as her voice, as the show itself, all together. You have got to see her, to be with her for two hours, then you will know, what I am talking about. Pretty weird, as she hits some nerves you never knew existed in you. Unfrogettable!

Beth Hart is a fabulous performer that engages with her audience and creates an amazing experience for her fans. I highly recommend seeing Beth if you have the opportunity. She will not disappoint!!

I've waited years to see Beth Hart play live in my area and I'm so thankful i was able to see this show. I discovered her back in the 90's with Immortal when i worked in the music store scene. Her voice is phenomenal live. I loved how she picked songs throughout her career and the versatility of styles she performed. Also loved when she played acoustic while her guitarist played the 12 string and then she did a song playing acoustic bass. Songs playing keys while singing were awesome as expected. Makes me hope for the chance she might do a new live DVD recording with simple instrumentation and just allowing her and the band to play for music's sake. Eric Gales opened and it was great she brought him back out to play with her on a couple numbers. Venue had a 11pm curfew which sucked because I believe she would've easily played 30 minutes longer beyond her 90 or so minute set. Beth rushed between instruments toward the end to transition into additional songs and fit in as many as she could. I hope I have another chance to see her live again soon.

As expected, Beth's voice was mesmerizing and you could see the audience was moved. It was a good show and I'd see it again. While Beth's closing song was raw and powerful, the whole show didn't carry the kind of vocal power you see at like her Paradiso event long ago. There's still some magic though and that alone makes it worth it.

Great Show Beth Hart is in my opinion the best Blues singer I have ever heard! She writes and sings from her heart Not many can put that much raw emotion into a song. I leave a show with such a great feeling that it's tough to explain. A Beth Hart show is an experience, so much more than a concert!

She covered a lot of material from over the years and even one she's never released. She moved back and forth between hard rockers and ballads (mostly her on piano) and even a couple of acoustic numbers. Lots of personal stories about the songs and her life. You know who she is by the end of the show. Good solid 1 1/2 hours of playing and her voice is spectacular. Basic band - drummer and lead are very good musicians. Eric Gales opened for her - not my favorite guitarist, but clearly had a following in the audience. I would have preferred a few more songs from her collaboration albums with Bonamassa, but very minor complaint. I loved the show.

She was absolutely wonderful! From start to finish Beth Hart sang her ass off for the audience. She was crisp, energetic, and most of all happy to be there with all of us in the audience. Loved the band, loved her song choices and loved the performance. Looking for the next place I my be able to see her on this 2017 tour.

I would go see Beth Hart perform in any venue. She is a consummate pro. Her voice is strong, clear and full of emotion, regardless of how many times I hear her sing a song. Boogeyman was haunting, Sister Heroine was heart breaking and I'd rather go blind with special guest Eric Gales sent us on our way and counting the days until she returns to North America, so I can see her perform again. Beth Hart. The best.

Beth Hart is an amazing musician with a powerful voice. She comes across so down to earth and relatable. The ticket price was not out of line.

Opening act was ok. Wife didn't much care for it. I thought was ok. Ms Hart on the other hand was phenomenal. Great voice. From the heart!

the show was not good at all. didn't sing any of her hit songs was very disappointed . Listen to her songs she has a great voice couldn't wait to see her life . what a letdown wouldn't go back and watch her again.

Both Beth Hart and opener Eric Gales were phenomenal live. I wasn't familiar with Eric Gales and had never seen Beth live. She sounded just as good live as a recording and though I hadn't heard Eric before, he sounded fantastic as well. Also had never been to the Taft but really liked this venue so will be sure to check out other shows in the future.

Beth Hart clearly loves what she does. She engages the audience and you get lost in her soulful lyrics. A great evening.

As always BETH Never disappoints ! From the first song to the last amazing along with lots a love stepping off the stage to give out hugs to her loving fans ... never will or have missed her when in Ohio

Front row loge in the center, a well behaved audience - reverently quiet at the right times, sang along joyously when the spirit moved. With a vault of amazing songs at her disposal, she always brings together the perfect set list for the evening. A very different vibe than last year's show at the Belly Up, she always makes the evening magical. Never miss the opportunity to renew your faith in the world by spending time in Ms. Hart's presence. The band was awesome as always, but her solo balladry at the piano is always a highlight. Opener King Solomon was a fun thirty minutes of blues guitar and strong soulful vocals. Well worth the price and time...
