Foo Fighters
Since releasing their self-titled debut in 1995, the Foo Fighters have been at the forefront of guitar-heavy rock. The origin of the band can be traced back to David Grohl's days as a drummer for Nirvana when he would write solo material when not playing with the legendary group. While Grohl handled all of the instrumentation for the Foo Fighters' first album, band members have since joined Grohl in the studio and on tour. In 1997, the band released The Colour and the Shape, followed by 1999's There Is Nothing Left to Lose and One by One in 2002.
