All, I can say is E40...I love you ... He did the Damn thang! ! Too short was Great!! D.j Q, was tight. ..it was one of the BEST CONCERTS I'VE BEEN TO SO FAR THIS YEAR. ..

First of all, I don't understand the post below me talking about DJ Quik never came out. UH he did. And it was a dope show. It was like going through memory listening to him and both suga free and his high ass perform lol. Quik did Tonight, I don't wanna eat it, Born & Raised in compton, we still party, etc. The opening acts were great, DOGG POUND did nothing but west coast classics and esp when aint no fun came on, crackin. They did a special tribute to nate dogg and eazy e. Too short was straight. It was fun. If youre a true fan of some gangsta, g funk, and just plain classic west coast music, this show hit the spot.

DJ Quik the 9/25 performance was NOT THE DJ QUIK I KNOW AND LOVE!!! YOU COULD OF SHOWED UP IN A SWEATSUIT AND FRESH BRAIDS AND TURN IT OUT WITH THE SONGS THAT MADE U FAMOUS! INSTEAD U HAD THIS ONE HIT WONDER COME ON. I WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTED BUT JUST FIGURED U MUST BE GOING THROUGH SOMETHING FOR NOT KEEPING IT REAL!!! I FIGURE SINCE I WILL BE TURNING 40 TOO I'D LET U KNOW! KEEP IT REAL! GOD BLESS

Quik is the most talented man in the industry in my opinion. His shows (for the last 19 years)are always amazing to me but if theres a great crowd of people & Quik is feelin it, the show will be twice as amazing just as it was last night!! Gotta luv ya Quik forever!!!

First two songs were cool then the energy of the crowd and stage died.

I saw DJ Quik at the HOB about 3 years ago, and he put on a great show then. I liked his live performance so much I thought he'd be even better the second time around; but last night's show did not live up to expectations. Last night Quik played few of his hits, but for a good majority of the show he just stepped aside and let his "special guests" take the stage for 10-15 minutes at a time. A few acts were interesting, but not that many. Maybe he's getting tired of doing the same old thing, I get it, he's been at it since 1989, but I expected to hear Quik and his classics not some random fools singing a bunch of random songs; that's not what I paid to see. Ah well, lesson learned: I'm not going to see Quik at the HOB any time soon.

Even though he had us wait 2 hours or so for him to go out It was worth the wait!!! I have been listening to DJ quick for a while now. And he is my best friend favorite Rapper so i surpirsed him with tickets. But i gotta admitt it was better than i could have imagined. The crowed was great he did all my favorite songs! and he was crazy jumping in the crowds and climbing every where!!! It was really good i have no complaints othere than there should have been a better openign act and teh AC shoud have been on!!!

Show was great. People were great. Service/Staff of the Venue of Scottsdale was great. The Venue of the show was cool too. The sound/audio system work good too. I would def go to this venue for another show. B Real and Fat Joe gonna b there soon.. Tryin to make it... Peace

Go see Quik live if you wanna see a great Hip Hop performance. Me and the rest of crowd rock to all the old classics and some new songs he performed with Kurup & Daz. If you like Hip Hop, Quiks show is a must see. Nikko

Quik's concert was off the hook! Quik knows how to put on a show that gets the crowd groovin & in da' mood to party! I have attended several of DJ Quik's concerts & never have been disappointed. =) Although, gotto admit...I missed Suga Free showing up as a surprise guest. Seeing both of them perform together live is priceless!

mann if u missed this west coast legend you are a damn fool it was the show of the year there was new quick songs and of course those classics 5 plus stars

This guy puts on a very memorable experience; he is personable, upbeat, and full of energy. I appreciate his interaction with the crowd and his sincere attempt to connect, which really gets the audience involved. He truly seems to enjoy performing, unlike other superstars who do their 12 songs and then hit the road. I would go see him again in the blink of an eye. I'm an old white guy who almost fell over the railing getting into the feel of this dawg's beats!

Concert was great, lots of fun. DJ Quik is a really good performer, he really gets the crowd involved and the music was great. Overall the show was great.

An all ages show so it was cool to bring my 20 year old cousins and their friends...no Kuruprt appearance was really disappointing but Quik was as good as ever...though he seemed to be having some sort of emotional issues throughout the show...he did almost all the songs i wanted to hear(no summer breeze) but man a great night good crowd.

This was my first time seeing DJ Quik in concert, and I had reservations on going back to this venue for any show considering the fact about how it was at the last show that I attended, which I couldn't even call a show. But anyway, my sister and I agreed that we are getting to these shows way too early, because I hate it when a venue says that the doors open at 10:00 and then have people standing outside of it for almost an hour waiting to get in. Luckily for me, I spent the time gambling, LOL. But personally, I'm getting a little perturbed with these start times for these shows. If the doors are said to open at 10:00 pm, I'm gonna assume that the show starts at 11:00 or 12:00...this show didn't start until 1:00, yes, 1:00am! With 2 local opening acts starting at this time on top of it! Sorry, but waiting that long I was in no mood to see any opening acts. The first guy was an R&B singer, and he was ok, and the second was a group of 3 hip hop guys. They were full of energy but I could barely get into their show because I was tired of standing since all the free tables were full and I wasn't gonna waste any money on VIP since I didn't plan on staying until the place closed. Finally, DJ Quik came on stage with no exciting entry. He just flashed us the peace sign and begin performing. He appeared drunk and high, and that could pretty much be confirmed later on when he smoked weed onstage that he got from a person in the audience that looked like it was rolled with a toilet tissue spool, LOL. He also had 2 glasses of wine, one which he gave to the audience, and then helped himself to the other one, LOL. He sung most of his hits, but really didn't seem too into his performance, and it seemed like he wanted to be somewhere else, LOL. A woman had her fun with him when he pulled her up on the stage and she danced like a hoochie, humping the stage and everything, LOL. I guess the security had enough of her and she was escorted off the stage, LOL. The entire show lasted for 31 minutes, yes, 31 minutes. And we were waiting for almost 4 hours, at least me and my sister were, since we got to the venue a little bit after 10:00. This venue doubles as a club and stays open until 4:00am, but since I'm a writer and need my rest, I don't stay out all night, so an appropriate start time would be appreciated, and no, 1:00am is not an appropriate start time, I think anyone would agree with that. By the end of the night, my feet had blisters from standing too long and my sister and I left. I'll think twice about not getting a table the next time I go to any event there!

THIS WAS THE HOTTEST CONCERT OF THE SUMMER!!! MUCH LOVE TO DJ QUIK, KURUPT, DAZ AND THE DJ'S. THERE WAS NO DRAMA AT THE CLUB, NOTHING BUT CALI LOVE. I CANT WAIT FOR QUIKS NEXT CONCERT. THANKS HOUSE OF BLUES FOR STAYING TRUE TO STREETS

Amazing Concert, so far the Best one I've been to, Dj Quik and Kurupt know how to put a Concert....can't wait for another one

I definitly suggest that everyone goes to at least 1 dj quik show in their life. The set was extra long and he did some encores. Defnitly worth the trip to sunset.

I loved his performance more than any other at the show. He and Warren G made it all worthwhile for me.

Was expecting to hear songs I knew. Too many unknown songs.

Event was a huge disappointment, wasn't well organized and music was not what I expected.

I have seen Quik a few times, normally he has his own band and puts on a great show. I don't know what happened at Club Novo or Nokia last night 3/26, he was awful! He actually came out on the stage dressed as Michael Jackson and sang a Debarge song (stay with me) THE WHOLE SONG!! He sounded awful, then he danced around trying to do some MJ moves, I don't know if he was trying to be funny but nobody was laughing!! This show was supposed to be DJ Quik, Suga Free, Amg, Hi C and 2nd to none, NOT his son and all these other artist he was promoting!!! They were all on stage acting like idiots, smoking blunts and drinking as if they were not even at a damn concert! I will NEVER pay to see this guy again!! I will end my review in saying that Hi C was the only one that didn't appear to be under the influence of anything and actually performed very well.

I really liked e-40. I was disappointed with Bone Thugs and Harmony. I like them, but their performance was unorganized. They were late. The show started late.

Unbelievable concert. One of the best concerts ever. DJ Quik was a beast. this concert was off the hook. I hope Bring tha Noise can measure up to this one

Was great seeing all the Legends!! DJ Quik, E40, Bone Thugs and Too Short, Houdini wasn't there

This concert was amazing. The only person that disappointed me was DJ Quik. His set was unorganized. He's knows that all he has to do is show up and he'll get a check. Kinda glad he went first. BONE was great! Did all their hit songs. E-40 was probably the best. He had the crowd rockin! Lastly Too $hort was good.

Was a great show at a venue I've been to once before. Was the longest show I've ever seen which I great because more music for the money is always a great thing.

The show was great. DJ Quik and Suga Free put on a great show. Of course being such a big fan of both of them, I was hoping for a longer set. But I loved the live band. The energy was great. I had a great time. Only disappointment was there was no Kurupt. I was really hoping to see Kurupt and DJ Quik both on stage as well.

First we waited three hours for the performance to start . The singers forgot there lines and even some lines they lip sang.. Also, one of the headliners didn't show up (kurupt) .. I wish I can get my 120 dollars back for three tickets!

This concert was one of the worst DJ Quik Concerts ever! Even after reading the previous reviews I still gave it the benefit of the doubt. But OMG not only did they come out 3.5 hours late but the opening acts were on stage three times as long as the main act. First Main act Warren G did only 2 Songs, Mack 10 = 2 Songs, DJ Quik = 5 Songs, and Suga Free finished the night with 2 Star performance if his hits. I have alot of respect for these guys and what music they have provided us in the past. But this concert felt like a slap in face and a waste of money.

DjQuick performedfor 20 minutes and then came back about 30 minutes later and performed for another 20 minutes. The in between performers stunk up the place and disrupted the vibe DjQuick created. It was hard to get in the mood when the so-called artist didnt mesh w DjQuick's style. Quick should have given his supporters more. Tickets cost $50, which was totally not worth it, Quick performed at most 30 minutes.

I was so excited to finally be at a Dj Quik concert. I've been wanting to go to one since I was 14, and I can honestly say it was a true disappointment. He only sang a few songs and Sugafree didn't even seem to remember the words to the songs! It was probably because they were drinking it up on stage. The rest of the show was filled with talking and Dj Quik just walked off stage not even a goodnight. I was really dissapointed and I wish I could get my money back!

Let me start off by saying I've been to numerous quik shows. He's a great artist and normally puts on a excellent concert. This concert however was bad! Only played a few songs (which were great and we partied for the few songs) but after those few songs they were just onstage goofing around ie. playing with a bball, playing oldies and just talking!! Super disappointed with this show. But like I said before this is the only concert I been to where I didn't enjoy Dj quik :( still a fan though

Sound system was terrible. Their set was sloppy and disorganized. They should get high afterwards not before. DJ Quik stopped playing music after awhile and Suga Free just rambled for about 20+ minutes. That's when we left. I had such high hopes! What an unadulterated failure of a concert.

Dj quick and Sugar Free put on a performance for the ages I had a great experience.

At first I was happy to see that DJ Quik came out earlier than usual. Although Suga Free was a little late, they put on a pretty good show for like 30min. Then it went downhill from there. I LOVE DJ Quik and this is the 4th time seeing him in concert, but this has to be the worst show. He just seemed too intoxicated to even perform. I would like to see Suga Free again in the future. Best show Ive seen was with DJ Quik at the House of Blues with Kurupt. But disappointed with this one :(

We love DJ Quik and Suga Free and we are really big fans, but the show on Saturday 7/20/13 was very disappointing. It started off real cool they were doing the jams. Then both Quik & Suga Free started acting like fools. Falling down on stage, rolling microphones on the floor, playing Richard Pryor for almost the entire show. We payed to see a concert not a comedy act. About 11pm we had enough and left the show. When we were walking out so was about half of the crowd. I think they forgot that their fans paid to see them do their music. I hope that future shows will not be like this. They have so much great music that they could have done.

What a sloppy mess this "concert" was. To say this was a disappointment is an understatement. The sound system was distorted as well. But, DJ Quik came out with bottle in hand and both he and Suga Free seemed a little too buzzed to put on a decent show as it not organized, sloppy, and embarrassing. He even had the shortest version of "Born and raised in Compton" that I've heard and it was fine for a while but then he stopped playing music and put on a Richard Pryor comedy LP while Suga Free was bs-ing and talking for 20+ minutes. At that point, we walked out. I don't remember ever doing that at a concert. I actually had high hopes for this concert as I love their studio-based music. But, most rap artists and their sound systems sound like crap live anyway. I'm venting now... I want my freakin' money back!

The show was horrible. DJ Quik didnt and Too short even show up. We waited forever. SUCKED

I somewhat agree with the post below mine. The opening act quite frankly should be an embarrassment to DJQuik. I thought 10:30 was early considering when I went to a redman/method man concert, they didn't take the stage until at least 1a. Get this though, Bizzy Bone performed! Unfortunately it was only for a couple minutes, but I thought that was real dope. Just for that I give my rating an extra star.

A ticket that says the performance is at 7:30, should mean just that! I stood on my feet for three hours listening to a bunch of nobodys running across the stage, all yelling into the mic at once! DJ Quik came on at 10:30! Really? Never again!

I can honestly say I had a great time over some laidback westcoast sound theyre legends in the game and wont be forgotten it was worth every penny and more! They interact with the crowd which makes it even more unforgettable much respect to two legends that have been in the game for over 20 years!

Great concert, and venue. DJ Quik brought out Suga Free and Jon B. They brought the house down.

Love DJ Quik and I have seen better shows...but the disappointing part was the NO SHOW!...Too Short AND Tha Dogg pound!

Quik was actually disappointing, I'd seen him before a couple times and he always had a lot of energy and enthusiasm. This time, not so much. And to make things worse, he just walked off the stage. To me that's so disrespectful to your fans. Most of these people, like myself, have been following Quik for years and he didn't even give so much as a thank you or warning before leaving the stage. I love Quik but if it weren't for his fans he wouldn't be anywhere today, same goes for any other artist. Luckily Too $hort, Daz and Kurupt did their thing.

This concert was dope ! Just too many openers for me. I wanted more of DJ Quik ! But I'm glad I got to see him at least once [=. As a concert fanatic, this was a great event ! Must see him live.

D.J.Quick n Suga Free came on at 10:30 and performed until 11:45.. I didn like that.. once they FINALLY hit the stage they were phenominal... The first act finished at 8:00 the second act started at 9:30... 1 1/2 hours... That was crazy....and a turn off

Too Short, DPG and DJ Quick were really good, took us way back. Suga Free was such a disapoinment when he came out with a laptop to read his own lyrics, HELLA LAME! we all know them damn words. And who ever organized and scheduled the show needs some help. They had us waiting for ever for the show to start and the DJ was not helping to pump up the crowd by playing Alicia Keys, and mellow R&B. The intro 'opening act' Greedy' where so bad they were boooed, thats pretty sad, poor kids. they just need to be organized. everyone was pretty sober and burnt out by the time DJ Quick came out and thats who we were really looking forward to see. Last but not least the ending was so lame. lights just turned off and they walked out the stage. No 'Thank you, for coming' nothing like that. everyone was asking each other, 'is that it?' 'was that the end'.

The concert was great. DJ Quik always puts on an awesome show.

This was one of the best concerts I've been to it was amazing to see too short Daz kurupt Dj quik suga free all get down they definitely put it down.

I've seen DJ Quik at various venues (including last year at the Nokia), and he always puts on a good show and is full of energy, so who was this guy that came out on stage? Something didn't seem right from the jump. Quik did not seem at all interested in being there. He didn't engage the crowd at all, except once to sarcastically ask "are yall entertained?". He didn't rhyme through a lot of the tracks, and appeared to be screaming at Suga Free and his back up musicians in between songs. He was mostly dancing aimlessly around stage and sometimes playing a vocoder live. His wireless mic also was very low, and it seemed like he just wanted to bounce, and while he performed "Do I Love Her" some of the crowd HAD started to bounce. I have never seen anyone walk out during a Quik show like that, it was embarrassing. Then at the end of the song, the lights came on. No "thanks for coming". No "hope you had a good time". No nothing. He just disappeared. Thankfully Tha Dogg Pound and Too Short had good sets, otherwise this show would have been a complete disaster.

Quik & suga free = AMAZING TOGETHER. I only wish club Nokia didn't cut them off 3/4's into the concert :(

I absolutely loved the Dog Pound. Daz and Kurupt still put on a good show. Too Short was in rare form and DJ Quik and Suga Free were undescribable. I guess I was so into the concert that when it was over I thought it was a joke cause Quik and Suga Free just got quite and walked off stage no goodnight no nothing.

Dj quik live performance is amazing.the only thing i dont like is the opening acts.the opening acts almost made me leave before quik got on stage.happy i stayed.

By no means is this review about him as an artist. I saw him perform before at the house of blues and I wanted my friend to experience the same enjoyment of his talent, like I had. So I bought tickets. They said 930 and had two additional artist opening. So for those that go to concerts often know that with two people before him means probably not going on until 11. We arrived at 1030. A girl that seemed intoxicated keeps coming on the stage and saying" are you ready to see DJ quik.. who came here to see DJ quik.?.. well after (some random artist) you will... " I dealt with it for about ten artist and then looked at my watch and saw it was 130??? Really 130pm.. and I still did not see him. I left at 145pm disappointed and with a different perspective of him as an artist.I payed to see one of my favorite artist and that didn't happen.... I am no longer a fan.

Basically the dudes that opened up for Quik, Domino, Kokane and local daygo cats were garbage if it weren't for that I would've gave the event 5 stars because Quik was dope and will always be one of the west coast elites. I just wish I would've showed up to see Quik and it would've been a 5 star performance.

I had the pleasure of seeing Quik in action in Richland WA on 4/21. He had the crowd pumped up, spun some great hip hop classics and rocked the mic. The opening act was awesome, but then I am bias because they were MY clients TMR:) After 20+ years, Quik is a LEGEND in the game and will remain that until death. Quik's DJ was also very good on the turntables, but....he had a good teacher:)

DJ Quik came on so late. I was irritated, but still excited to see him. But what ended up bothering me the most were the 20+ people standing on stage just to spectate! I couldn't believe it! He is performing and all these people are just standing around watching. I left early because it was so ridiculous and boring. It's definitely worth it to pay the extra few bucks for the balcony seats. It was a hip hop artist, so about four fights broke out on the main floor throughout the night, but it didn't affect where I was sitting, and the bouncers broke them up immediately. I wasn't too worried since they did pat-downs on the way in. Overall, I was disappointed with the performance, but liked the venue.

Show started at 8 he showed up at midnight...by then the crowd was drunk and multiple fights broke out and crowd became very hostile!!!!! Had to leave in the middle of his set due to crowd!!!!

Didnt come out until about 12:30. He didnt do that many songs. He dj and tryed to play the guitar. He didnt anything from the book of david. When he was done he just walked of the stage. Didnt thank the crowd, didnt say it was his last song. He just walked off the stage. I had fun with my boys but the show was not that good.

it was weak. his other artist are terrible .i just wanted to here some of the good music but he did not perform .he did maybe 5mins of bullsh@@tn .no new music ,no classics the concert was like a robbery.because i got nothing .and im a dj quik fan still . i just cant beleive that show .watch out u got some mad fans

It was great to see the acts before DJ Quik but then he came out smokin and having a great time. Than unexpectedly Suga Free came out to perform. He rocked the house. I was dancing and appreciating the old school music. So later on that night the fabulous El Debarge came out and performed. I was so happy to see him. I'm 42 and have always loved him so it was another unexpected surprise. Than to top the night off, Miss Faith Evans comes on stage and rips it!!! All I can say is wow. One of the best New Years I ever had and if Quik performs next year... I'm there!!

I went to see DJ Quik at the city national grove of anaheim last year and loooooved it, so I decided to come back this year well what a mistake that was. He had like 5 opening acts it was like amateur night at the apollo. Once the show got started Flesh and Bone from Bone Thugz came out ok coo not too bad. Then finally Quik came out he did 2 songs and then he let his new artist gift reynolds hit the stage ok thats cool too, but Quik does a few more songs all classics no more new songs, suga free comes out (high light of the show) they do a few songs together and then its over. Dueces. And then some other guy comes out and performs. It was such a HUGE disappointment. I was really looking forward to hearing his new hits from his album and he did none, just the diss track to his sis. Like what the hell I didnt pay my money for this. This will probably my last DJ Quik concert. Im still a fan and I love his music, but this concert was a complete disappointment.

Every time Quik plays at the Grove in Anaheim its a hot show!

I was very disappointed with this event. There were about FIVE opening acts, and all of them were horrible. DJ Quik finally came out a lil after 11pm ( we had been waiting since 8pm smh). His performance was good but it only lasted about 20 minutes. Suga Free was jumping all over the place, and didnt know the words to some of his songs lol. His overall performance was just "OK". To top off the entire night, this was a standing only event. I would really have to think hard about attending another DJ Quik performance.

DJ Quick was amazing. He mad me forget I was at a rap concert. In my head I was like dam all many instruments can this man play. He reminded me of Prince, but just a rap version. David Blake (DJ Quick} deserves more credit then he gets. The add on with Suga Free was great also. The only down fall is that you had to listen to unsigned artist and Flesh-Bone who were not good at all except an artist by the name of Gbam.....Now if Quick and Free do a show in my opinion they need to have Gbam open for them at all times and have him come on before they do and find some well put together artist who can move a crowd. Despite the opening acts DJ Quick is a must see. But don't expect him to come on until a little bit after 10pm....

I expected more from dj quik and sugafree. Made me disapointed they were messing up on lyrics and coming in late on songs but the show was ok from a scale on 1 to 10 i give them a six mabey a 7 but not really

Mostly poor opening acts, especially Flesh-n-Bone. I'm sicks of 6 guys on stage yelling. DJ Quick walked out, play some songs on the turntables, started to get the crowd going, then it went down hill. Seemed like he was just playing for himself. Sort of unorganized. And to top if all off, he just walked off at the end and some other artists came on which left the audience confused. Just lame.

first off he had like 5 opening acts from 8pm till midnight...Quik came out sand 2 songs and brought out another act....after that act sang like 3 songs he came out again with suga free which was the only good part of the show for about 15 mins......he didnt even sing all his hits and when he did sing he would cut them short or make the crowd sing them...this is the 2nd DJ Quik concert ive been to the first one was good this one was horrible. no bueno

Ok, let me start by saying I love DJ Quik!!! The tickets purchased stated 8:00pm. So of course, we arrived early because I have experienced heavy lines for Quik concerts, standing room only in the past. Well apparently we were too early. Stood in line for almost 2 hours. Not what I expected. Once we were let into the venue, I find out it is a nightclub. A nightclub? Since when does Ticketmaster sell nightclub tickets? Anyway, once inside we find the nightclub to be very nice. There were 2 floors and a couple of different rooms. We ask around to find out which room the performance would take place in. We were then led to a very large banquet room (were I attended my sophmore highschool homecoming many moons ago). Still a little disappointed but happy to be inside out of the cold. Music is playing, crowd is good and then a gentleman appears on stage to tell us that DJ Quik & Suga Free would not be on until midnight. WHAT???? So again we wait. Show starts with some opening acts a few minutes before midnight. Suga Free finally appears, does a few songs then Quik. Feeling a little better now. Then, about 30 - 45 minutes into the show, Quik & Free exit the stage not to be heard from again. Are you kidding me? No good night, thank you for coming out nothing. So overall, I am not a happy camper. If I wanted to go to the club I would have gone to the club.

TIME ON TICKET SAID 8pm. DIDNT GET INSIDE TILL 10.DJ QUIK DIDNT COME OUT TILL AROUND 12.30. NOT MUCH OF A PERFORMANCE. THE VENUE WAS AT A COUNTRY CLUB. THERE WAS A GOLF COURSE AND I BELIEVE HILTON HOTEL NEAR BY. MORE OF A SWEET 16 KINDA OF THEME. I THOUGHT HAHAHAH O WELL...STILL MADE A GOOD NITE OUT OF IT!

The concert was AWESOME! He has never disappointed. He is a genius with lerics and music.

I loved that i was in VIP, and that the VIP section had seats, so u could sit down when you needed to, and stand up on your favorite songs. The first opening act was horrible, and did not fit the venue of a DJ QUIK concert. The other two acts were ok. The best part was when DJ Quik, and Suga Free were on stage, and their Dj was really good also. Dj Quik is really talented. He can DJ, play the quitar, and rap. Most people dont even write their own raps let alone come up with their own beats anymore. I loved that they did all of my favorite songs!!!

If it were up to me the whole world woud listen to nothing but DJ Quik and Suga Free!! No other artists goes harder than these two.. I wish their performance ran a bit longer. There we too many opening acts and not enough of who I came to see. All in all an amazing night!

I never cease to be amazed by Quik. I went to his concert w Suga Free at Club Nokia. I had the best time. I didn't even sit down throughout the whole performance. They had the crowd so hype. Great music; great crowd. This is my third time I see Quik & Suga Free in concert. I will continue to support them and attend their events just as long as they keep making music.

Quik and Suga Free still have it! The energy they produce together is just EPIC!! Although DJ Quik is a true perfectionist and very structured with his craft, and Suga Free is just all over the doggone place on stage, they make for a Great Duo in entertainment. I hope that they continue to work together. Seriously they pull greatness out of one another when they perform.

Pretty amazing show. Been a fan of his for years and years and they BOTH tore the house down. Venue was small and chill, definitely could see them from ANYWHERE you stood AND the place had their AC blasting so it didn't feel TOO stuffy. Took awhile for Quik and Suga Free to come to stage but when they did everyone went wild! They can put on a damn show and perform their butts off. Definitely worth the wait and the 243035930 opening acts they put on lol! Overall, definitely recommend to check them out. They remind me of when I was growing up and the REAL rap/hip hop music I listened to---not the busted stuff that's out today.

This was my 5th DJ quick concert at the Grove in Anaheim. Quik always puts on a great show, especially when he's a got a drink in hand...you know its going to be Funky!!! The opening performers sucked, which is why they got cut short as the crowd was screaming "We want quik." Tons of beautiful ladies from all over so keep your game tight, grab some honey's, and enjoy the show. I would definitely recommend anyone to check out a DJ quik performance...even if your not into hip hop. If your into funk and old skool, you'll definitely like some Quik. Peace!!!

First, the show was scheduled to start @ 8pm but I lost track as to when the show actually started which I didn't mind. It was actually my first DJ Quik show, i've been to DJ Shadow and others but my first DJ Quik. Overall, I have a pretty awesome experience. I thought the opening acts were kinda long but not bad at all. I had purchased the Book of David and I'm looking forward to what he comes out with next. Peace.

I LOVED SEEING DJ QUIK IN ANAHIEM, HE PUT ON A TIGHT SHOW UP THERE, ALSO I WENT TO THE ONE IN TEMPE.. OMGEE I WOULD LOVE TO MARRY THE GUY OR AT LEAST MEET HIM!!! I DIDNT KNOW THEY HAD MEET AND GREET TICKETS HERE IN ARIZONA I WOULDVE BOUGHT THEM.... DAMN I MISSD OUT!
