She really gave us a show this is my 2nd time seeing her in concert and she's always given me money's worth and some. I love the fact that she's so musically inclined I've never been disappointed. She incorporated new and old songs I was in heaven. Gramps Morgan opened up for her he was too cool and her mom even came out and gave us a snippet. I'm definitely awaiting her comeback to the Chicago land area her #1 fan will be buying a ticket.

India was worth all the painstaking time we waited for her to come out. Fortunately, Tamia was a great entertainer, but even after a couple songs, we were so antsy for India to come out. The new artists only ok... and the MC was really hokey and annoying. So it was a really long night.. until India came out!!! She was worth all the wait. We LOVE HER!!!

I have always been long time fans of both Tamia and India Arie. They did NOT disappoint. The show was amazing. They both have such beautiful, unique, and strong voices and their performances were authentic and flawless. I also enjoyed the opening acts Hal Linton and Brad. They are wonderful talents as well. It was a great way to celebrate the 4th of July Weekend and I can't wait until they come back to Orlando. Phenomenal ladies!

This was an awesome show. Tamia's voice and range are tremendous and she was very entertaining. India Arie's performance was moving, spiritual, and it touched my soul. Her voice is like a river flowing smoothly and gently at times, then forceful and powerful at others. She is a beautiful queen in every way. Her music touched me so much that I had tears in my eyes throughout her performance. I would recommend anyone to go see this lady and experiene her music. You truly feel transcended and changed after seeing her. Bravo!

This will be short. Great event overall. Little rocky at first with waiting to get in and seating. Started at 830 but tickets said 8, little off but it happens. Opening acts were good. Tamia was amazing. High energy, engaged the crowd, brought out Grant and the kids. Really good show, little MJ tribute too, India Arie...words cannot describe her show. She was PHENOMINAL. Love her music but a live show is something every fan show see. The songs, the dancing, the crowd, it was a great show. To Randle...brother I hope this was the beginning for you, we did not know we had a future star in the audience. India was humble, sweet and sincere.

This was my 2nd concert I've ever been to. My husband surprised me with tickets celebrating my birthday. I was pleased to find that it was held in a small venue. Our seats were in an awesome location. The ticket prices were very reasonable. India was incredible. She sang her heart out, and it was a great show! I want to thank her and all the people who made this show possible. It's by far the best birthday I've ever had.

After seeing India perform on two other occassions, I knew that this trip (St. Louis to Chicago) was not one to miss. She makes you feel like you've been personally invited to perform and interact with her. I love how she tells a story about the origin or each song, then tells a story within every song. The venue was great and India's mom's voice was just as nice. Between her floetic voice, instrumental talent, and sprituality...India is simply AMAZING!

Kenny Lattimore, Will Downing, and India.Arie were all simply amazing. Each of them left it all out on the floor. But what was even more wonderful was the fun that was created by all the people at the concert. Everyone was just having a really good time. Even as it started raining, people huddled under their umbrellas and kept enjoying the show. Just a wonderful event.

My husband and I went to see this show this week. We were worried about the forecast, which called for thunderstorms and heavy rain. Despite this we pressed through, and Caroll (the opening act), Kenny, Will, and India did NOT disappoint. This was an AMAZING show, rain and all. There are not many artists that could have me sitting in an outdoor amphitheater in the rain, but the energy, connectedness and sheer artistry of these artists had me, "singing in the rain!"

Even though it was raining (light rain) on and off the energy that was felt between the artists and the crowd was nothing short of Amazing. I enjoyed the venue as well. It was FREE PARKING. Indie Arie is always a pleasure to experience. I think I have attended all of her concerts. She brings such a spiritual experience to her performance. I don't think anyone could possible leave her show not feeling euphoric. I have always enjoyed her interaction with the audience. I've wanted to see India.Arie for years so I knew I couldn't miss this even though it was a Christmas tour. She didn't disappoint! Her voice is so beautiful. I just sat in awe of her talent for the majority of the show. Oh and I am now a new fan of her friends! I don't know how I've went this long without listening to Jonathan Mcreynolds. After looking forward to this concert for over a month, and sitting in the second row of the Orchestra section, I was unimpressed. First of all, the concert started late. During this wait time, it was annoying watching the stage being set up with water, cloths to cover the stool, etc, for Ms Arie's performance. The deco of the stage was drab, unremarkable and uninspiring. Ms. Arie's entrance was also uninspiring and unimpressive. She just casually walked out with no introduction at all. For the show itself, I found to be rather depressing and more suited for a small coffee house or intimate dinner club, not to take away from the DPAC, which I have been patronizing since it Inaugurate opening. Definitely overpriced for such an uneventful event. This was my second India Arie concert, and my last. . I even left early, which I have NEVER done in the 40 years I have been attending concerts!

This was my first India concert and I was not disappointed in what she gave! The experience with India was so amazing! Her songs are from the soul and her deliverance is spiritual! Her band and backup singers are wonderful! I was a little distracted in the beginning of the concert, due to me allowing the negative people around me to steal some of my joy! However, India's music and presence reminded me of whom I belonged to and my spirit was renewed! Thank you India for sharing your journey and for sharing your obedience!

I am a die hard India.Arie fan. I have seen her everytime she is in Central Florida area. I did not know much about her opening act but Gramps Morgan is someone I will add to my music collection. India has not toured in four years but you couldn't tell that from the crowd it was packed!!! I had purchased the VIP package and even though we had an area blocked off it was soon overtaken I stood the entire 4 hours and it was so worth it. I enjoyed the concert so much I am planning to see her again in November

Anyway, we got to sit in on the sound check and actually take a "group" photo with India. We were supposed to be able to enter the actual concert area 1st, but by the time we were done, they were already letting others in, so most of us had to get in where we fit in. The show was great. India's voice is beautiful and she sang all of my favorites. Burnell Taylor was an extra surprise as he was a New Orleans Native and I loved him on American Idol. I'd highly recommend the show, just maybe skipping the VIP experience, it wasn't worth the extra $100.

This is one of the best shows we've seen this year. India gave a great performance and her sound was true to her CD's. She gave her positive energy to the crowd which left her in disbelief that they were receiving her the way they did. Every song she sang the crowd sang along with her, she must have said "Damn I need to get back to New Orleans these people love me." Indie you are real, just keep painting your pictures of the world so everyone can behold the beauty they possess. The only problem I had for the night was that I paid for the VIP Experience and got a lecture on all the things we could not do or say. Don't talk to Ms Arie, don't ask for an autograph from Ms Arie (actually brought a guitar for that), don't give Ms Arie any gifts, give it to us an we'll give it to her, don't take any pictures of her or you'll be escorted out. A word of advice, make your guest comfortable as possible, be excited to receive them and be accommodating to them. Also when playing venue like the House of Blues make sure that your VIP have a place to sit.

Everytime India.Arie comes to the Bay Area, I am there! She has never let me down. All her concerts have been so spiritual and she connects so well with the audience. But I was disappointment by this concert at the Uptown in Napa. India only sang four of her own songs. The others songs she sang were new songs she was doing with Idan Rachiel, who I had never heard of. The album hasn't been released yet, so the audience had no connection to the songs. Many of the songs were in hebrew. Some of those songs were not concert ready. She was laughing while messing up the words. There was a lot of chatter going on the stage between India and Idan that was just between the two of them. Usually India connects with her audience, not another musician on the stage. i'm used to seeing India with her guitar, maybe one song with her flute, a few short dances in between and performing on every vocal number. This was not how it went down. There was one point when India left the stage and it was just Idan up there singing. I didn't pay $80 to hear a musician I have never head of sing in a language I don't understand! This show was for Idan Rachiel fans, not fans of India.

I've been a fan of India Arie for years but this was my first time seeing her perform. First of all, she has such an amazing personality. She talked to the audience in between songs and seemed so humble and down-to-earth. Loved it!! It was awesome when she came off the stage and went throughout the audience. She sang songs from all of her albums and even mixed a few up a little bit. I love that her mother came out to sing the last part of the last song 'Ready for Love' - I thought it was so sweet. Overall, I'm glad that I went because I enjoyed it and recommend that any India Arie fan should see her in person.

I saw my favorite singer last night live and the show was all that and so much more. The talented William Davenport from Tennessee State University opened for her and did his thing. I really enjoyed his performance. Please be on the lookout for him in the future as he will be a rising star. My girl, India was so real in her performance last night. I could feel her words and she looked like she was really enjoying herself. I loved the part where she showcased the talents she had working with her, from the background singers to the bass player. I loved it!!!! My absolute favorite part was when she closed with Ready for Love and had her mother come out and sing the last line. You can see where she gets her talent and influence from. THANK YOU FOR COMING TO NASHVILLE INDIA!!!! I cant wait until the next show!!!!!

This was without a doubt the best concert I have ever had the privilege to attend. From the first note she captured the audience as she took us through new and old pieces. vocaly impeccable, pure, awe-inspiring. In the middle of the show she joined us inthe crowd and danced among the fans, she sang with friends and family (mom), she laughed and cried and told us stories. You felt apart of the show, apart of the music. I will never forget that experience.

I loved it and loved India. I would go see her anytime she is in the Detroit area. I loved her before but her concert has made me really appreciate her work, message and her as a person so much more. There is nothing better than an artist that is down to earth, spiritual and isnt afraid to reach out to her audience. Raheem Devaughn has an excellent voice and worked the crowd better than any artist I've seen. Anytime you have someone that is willing to run all the way up the stairs to see his fans sitting at the top of Chene Park you are an amazing performer that cares about all of your fans not just the ones sitting in the first few rows. It was an amazing concert that I will never forget.

My wife and I went to see India Arie open for John Legend in North Charleston and we were blown away by her performance. I wasn't a big fan before hearing her live but I will definitely be keeping up with her career and actually purchasing her albums in the future. She was better than advertised and is a big reason why we'll be attending more concerts in the future! Great performance and a must see for men, women and children of all ages....

Rarely do you find an artist so willing an honest to reveal the heartfelt place that the words to her songs came from. Her humaness is our hmaness. She reminds us that we are all one, we all suffer and we all have the capacity to heal, transform fly and soar Her first song had quet tiears roklling down my face and my husband, then I found out the next day my friend's. We are all training to be dance/movement therapists so we could feel everything oozing from her body, see her truth and appreciate her dance which came from a very authentic place, For India vulnerablitity is a model that tells her audience it is ok to be seen in ill health and thiving, that you can be roken and whole at the same time, that it is ok to ask for help, how important family is, loyalty, to have people that believe in you, waiting and ready for you when you are ready for you. India Arie is beatiful in every way possible. The world needs more people like her. I need more people like her. The entertainment industry should look to her as a model. She is a representation of our values and she does not destigmatize mental illness.

India Arie Songversation was absolutely amazing. It was more than a concert... It was an experience! If you've never seen her live it's a must see event. India did just the right mix of new music as well as some of her previous classics, simultaneously telling a story of how she went from breakdown to breakthrough to elevation to flying! So inspiring! And Gramps Morgan (opening act) was also amazing and definitely added to the Songversation!
