Great Show until we got to Miguel...he wasn't worth my money especially when he song the Drug song...I then proceeded out the venue...he shouldn't have been the one to close the show...

Awesome line up! The artists were great! Just a little bit long, from 6pm to 11pm.

He is so sexy!!!! I saw him last week in NWK NJ, so this was just an extra treat. Can't wait to see him again. GOOD LUCK AT THE SOUL TRAIN & AMAs!!!!!!!

Totally fell in love with his stage presence! He was phenomenonal!

The show started approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hrs later than anticipated but I have come to expect this when attending shows at the House of Blues. Nevertheless; as soon as Miguel hit the stage, it was nonstop energy until the very end!!! He is definitely in his own lane and reminds me of the Prince, and Morris Day and The Time era (don't let this statement deter you from seeing Miguel live in concert...you will NOT be disappointed) but modern with his own unique flair. Sidenote: Miguel's album is a MUST for those of you who do not have it!!! I cannot remember the last time I purchased a cd and did not skip a single song.

This concert was so boring. They had 10 opening acts who were all lame and one of them was actually lame and rapping a song called "Check My Whip Game". Travis Porter sounded like some retarded kids and Meek Mills did his thing but only performed for about 20 minutes compared to Travis Porter's almost 2 hours. I left before Miguel could even touch the stage.

Miguel has an awesome voice. I don't get excited over artists but a few and when i do I go hard. I just seen him perform for the 1st time last night at Six Flags Great Adventure and he was amazing. His voice is like butter and he sings with such passion. The arena was empty probably because of the Hurricane Irene warning, plus it wasn't very well promoted. They said the show was free with admission, but when we got there they had an enclosed area to be up front that you needed a $10 wristband which was never mentioned. During his last song he asked if all the people behind could come up front and security let us all in ha. He even jumped off the stage to greet some fans. All in all I was more than satisfied with his performance and would go see him again and again but at a more organized setting. SO if you get the chance go see Miguel!!!!

Miguel and his opening singer have great voices and are decent performers however, everything else was just bad and bad and I don't think I could be worst even if I asked for worst. I went with friend was raining and concert was delayed hour or so after rain stopped security disappeared and open the gates for all the people to attend the concert what was fine by me if no one took my seats and view what I payed good price for. People were pushing around and just being rude in overall did not care who had tickets how did. And there was no security that we could complain to. So it was waist of money huge waist. I don't understand why concert was not canceled. Miguel performed few songs and did not try to give some more time for people who actually paid for his performance little more attention at the end or at least offer autograph. Just huge disappointing.

Well this was my 3rd time seeing Miguel this year (the 1st I met him back stage but missed his performance n the second 5/28/11 where he only performed ONLY 4 songs) N HE ROCKED THE HOUSE @ THE FAMOUS B.B. KINGS w/ songs from the mixtape "Mischief" n from the album "All I want is U." The song choices were HOT n I was really close to have paid for GENERAL ADMISSION seats while u had to pay $10 extra 4 a table or both on the floor or 3 steps in n around the upper area. Openers really sang their behinds off I.E. Olivia & Nikki (Rich seemed to be the instrumentalist that never opened his mouth or acknowledge himself ) The concert was great n then I was off to CENTRAL PARK 4 Beyonces FREE Summer Stage concert... Amazing overnight event!

The worst concert I went to. Had us wait two hrs outside to go in....nowhere to sit inside....all the artists were late...kelly rowland didn't even show up...drinks were corny....never going there again :)

So I originally bought the ticket to see Kelly Rowland which she must've cancelled to perform but I never got a explanation why..........my ticket ready Kelly Rowland w/ Olivia and Miguel. On the other hand, Miguel performed great but sang more songs than Olivia. I would think Olivia would've sang some of her old joints or at least the song that got her famous.... Bizounce.

Nikki and Rich were awesome. Olivia was great. Miguel was amazing.

it was the best night of my life, ever! im a MAJOR fan of jim jones so that was a GREAT bonus! and the BIGGEST OLIVIA FAN!!!! i only went for olivia. i was first on line & i waited FOREVER!!!! too long. i had heels on and i had to take them off in the club or i wouldve never made it to the end. the show took too long to start. i had to leave during miguels performance because metro north stops running at a certain time. nikki and rich toook up way too much time. one song was enough for me. antwon bailey, dj webstar & the power 105 dj's were a cool nice added bonus. overall, i loved it & i wish i could do it again. my throat is still sore 2days later. i keep watching the videos of that night.

Grammy Museum has a system where they interview the singer first and it was great to get to know him and his thoughts about music his performance was even better.

The Q&A portion of the event was really cool. Got to really get to know more about him. Very intelligent, funny individual. Performed only 5 songs, I believe, but all were amazing and sounded great. Definitely will check him out again. Great person, and extraordinary performer.

It was a great show! Intimate, but not too small. He really gave the crowd an amazing show, has a great voice and talent. I would see him a hundred times more. The price for this show was so great too, made it even more worth it. He really has a great way of connecting with the audience.

Miguel's concert was good but definitely not the best. The concert started a little after 8pm and was done by 9:15pm. Nevertheless he sang well and the music was good.

I bought Miguel's new album when it first debut and let me tell you, I have not been able to stop listening to. I play it in my car and when I am home cleaning, I just can't get enough. After the event at the Birchmere, it ha been confirmed that Miguel has such an amazing voice, even LIVE! He hit all of his high notes on his CD that not all singers can do as they are dancing! Miguel is the best and I can't wait for more MIGUEL!!!!

This was the best concert I have ever been to!! The Birchmere is a intimate place, great size!!! I was able to meet Miguel after the show and he did the robot with. He sounds amazing live borderline better than the CD! Over all it was an amazing show and I would recommend the avenue and Miguel to anyone who loves music!!!

I bought tickets to this show for my teenage daughter and her best friend. (This was her friend's 1st concert ever) They had an absolute BALL!! It was kinda last minute, but well worth it. They made it sound so good that I was really disappointed I missed it. Miguel is a newcomer but performed quite well, and very personable. (I was also told that he smells good too, ha!) Apparenly the guitar player is as well. When I pulled up to pick up the girls, the guitar player came out and was patient enough to continue taking pics with anyone who wanted to. If I didn't have my "mommy carpool" look going on, I would have taken a pic too!! Once I left the music hall, had dinner, then made it home, it was time to go back and pick them up! The show lasted about an hour and 10 minutes, but I had to remember that he's a newcomer. There were quite a few people I told about the concert that had NO idea who he was. Also, when I was in line to redeem the tickets from the box office, there were more people wondering just who Miguel was. If they attended the show, they know now! All in all, from what I hear, it was a really nice show. If he was to come back, I would definitely go.

Really enjoyed the show.. His energy raised the roof...Cant stop listening to his CD after seeing him perform!!! Hes going straight to the top!!!!

Soulful, powerful, voice + energetic, seductive, playful performance + mind-blowing guitar work = best live performance I have seen in years!!! Hadn't heard much about Miguel but went with my sister who is a big fan. I was blown away!!!! Reminds me of early Prince. Can't wait for them to come back to town!

Band was great! Dru rocked it - they all did. They are going to be BIG, I am sure.

The show was nice, about an hour long. The venue was intimate and had food and alcohol available, which was perfect. He sang a number of songs from his album and performed with lots of energy. I would absolutely go to another Miguel concert if he comes back to the area.

I personally think that the line up should have been reconsidered just like the 1st block party the closing acts have all been wrong. Miquel should not have been last.. maybe 1st but not last. Ne-Yo or Fantasia should have closed the show. You lost a lot of the people leaving early with that closing performance. Rethink the next line up!!

I was pleasantly surprised with performances by Fantasia and Ne-Yo but really impressed with Miguel's vocal capabilities. Gr8 show!

Fantasia was the BEST! She should ve been last and Tank should have been before her. Miguel should ve been first. He was a hot mess!

All artists put on a fantastic show! If I could change anything though, I would have chosen another headliner besides Miguel, as he is a different genre of music than Fantasia, Tank, and Ne-yo! As wonderful a performer as Miguel is, he just wasn t suited for the Majic 102.1 age/music demographic. A lot of the audience left after seeing Fanny, but they missed out on a true, artistic performance by Miguel!

All were awesome performers. Miguel should've opened the show as his act wasn't as good as the others. Lots of people left during Miguel's set.

Miguel was amazing and did not disappoint as usual! It seemed like over half of the crowd left during his set but he didn t let it waiver him. He continued to put on an excellent show!

Miguel's talent never ceases to amaze me. The passion, emotion, & interaction with the crowd made this concert one of the best. His energy lit up the room, and his voice gave goosebumps to ALL in attendance. Miguel, you are MAGIC!!!

The worst set I have ever seen in ten years, the guy must me an ego maniac had himself blocked from his band and anyone in the seats to his left or right. vocals were terrible with very little energy.

He is an incredible performer! Sounds just like the tapes and even better with some songs. He doesn't just stand on the stage, he performs.

Concert started at 8 waited over an hour for main event. He did perform and dance for about and hour 15min. And also made one song last like 15 minutes. ..how lond can you drag a song out for? Anyway I had higher expectations, my bad.

I feel as if Miguel completely performed his songs in a different style.. It seemed to be more of a Rock show not so much like R&B. I wasn't impressed considering the amount of money I spent on my ticket.

I was so excited to see Miguel but the concert was a little disappointing. I couldn't hear he too clearly echoes of all the instruments. It was kind of a rock concert with some singing. He also didn't sing his song the same way he records them so it was hard to get into it.

He has an amazing voice yet alone the energy he shows off during the show. Wow. I had a great night!!

Worst concert I've been to, ever. The opening artists did a superb job: entertaining and got the crowd involved. Main event took almost an hour to start from the previous performer. Artist did not sing complete songs and seemed to be under the influence. Ticket prices did not reflect the level of service recieved. Given the venue was held at a college campus, the fans should have been treated with more respect. I've been to dozens of concerts over the years ranging from free outdoor concerts to private events in Europe, and this was by far the worst experience.

His performance was one I truly won't forget. He played so many of his hits. The only thing that was a down fall was the venue asked us to sit down... If you really love his music you really won't want to!

I have attended two of his shows in the past 6 months and both have been phenamonal. I suggest everyone attend at least one of his shows in their lifetime. You won't regret it and/or it won't be forgotten!!!

I bought tickets to go see Trey Songz and Miguel opened up, I already listened to Miguel's Kaleidoscope Dream and already had high expectations because the album was amazing and boy HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT. He went above my expectations!! I only wished he performed his whole album when he opened up. If he had his own tour I'd go just for him, no doubt. Miguel keep doing your thing <3

All I can say is Miguel sure knows how to put on a show. He sings just as amazing live as he does on a recording. He really engages the audience and appreciates each and everyone that comes out. Also he really loves to sing and perform and he shows it through his performance. Everyone must see a Miguel concert in their lifetime.

If you ever get a chance to see Miguel perform live don't pass it up. This was hands down the best show I've been to. He goes so hard on stage he gives his everything and his band is amazing as well. I would see MIGUEL everytime he's in town NEXT LEVEL ARTIST!

Every performance that I have seen of Miguel has been absolutely incredible. Miguel sounds amazing LIVE. He not only sounds exactly like the recorded song but at times he sounds even better. He does not keep still on stage...he dances, jumps, and flirts with the audience making you want more and more. I love me some Miguel. If you have never seen him LIVE do yourself a favor and see him immediately.

The Set The World on Fire World Tour was AMAZING!!!!!! However, I only came to Barclay's in Brooklyn to see Miguel preform & he DID NOT disappoint. Can wait for him to headline his own show.

He opened up for trey songz and he was amaaaazing! he sounded exactly like all his records and his voice is great. i knew some of his more popular songs but after seeing him perform i fell in love with his music and got his album which is amazing as well. I cannot wait until he has his own tour, i will be there! Definitely go see him live if you get the chance he will not disappoint!

This concert made me fall into a whole 'nother level of love with Miguel. His band was energetic and so connected with each other. Miguel's vocals took me far away & made me forget about my life for the time being. The emotion & energy was remarkable. I loved the fact that the venue was small enough to feel super close to the artist & really share an amazing experience with everyone else in the audience. I will definitely love to see Miguel again when he comes back to NYC & I will definitely visit the Bowery again. Miguel is changing the face of music & is a legend in the making! AN UNFORGETTABLE & UNREAL NIGHT! IT MADE MY LIFE COMPLETE! :)

The show itself was great; however the standing room only and the doors not opening at 8p put a strain on the night. Miguel didn't start to perform until after 10pm.

Miguel was amazing! He embodies what many artist are missing in today's industry--raw, natural talent. When you see this man do what he does, you know you're experiencing someone who puts their whole being into their craft (whoa. i went there) pure entertainment. Very stylish young man, voice from the heavens..and he ain't too bad on the eyes either ;) <3

I had an AMAZING time at the concert! I ended up going alone because I bought the ticket on a whim, and none of my friends were available on such short notice, but once I was there it didn't matter. I was literally catching my breath watching him perform. I'm not a concert person at all, but this experience definitely changed my mind about them. 5-stars. Please bring Miguel back to DC!!! We love him!!

Man! What can I say? Miguel put on one hell of a performance. He definitely has a unique gift and you can tell who has influenced his work. I regret not going to see him when he played the Birchmere in 2010. The next time he comes to your town if you are feeling hesitant about attending; don't be! He is in the ring along with Prince and D'angelo ( Real music)! I will see him again and again. now days people are skeptical about attending concerts because they are afraid that the artist will sound horrible outside the studio. Let me tell you... Miguel didn't crack one bad note. His band was excellent as well. He also has the most seductive eyes. All Scorpios do. What can I say? Pick up his new C.D it will be a guaranteed winner the cuts he did that night were all good.

It was my first time attending a show at the Howard Theatre & my first time seeing Miguel, but the two paired perfectly!! He is a phenomenal performer who puts his all into his show. I had such a fantastic night & will definitely go see him the next time he's in town :)

Miguel's performance still has me feeling excited. His voice is amazing and the way he sings seems effortless. I was very satisfied. My sister nd I wen and we talked about Miguel for days after and we will definitely be going to the next show that comes to town! Some of my favoriets that he sang were "Strawberry Amazing", "That I Do" and," P%$^& is Mine". He is super talented and super friendly. I can't wait to see him again.

This concert was amazing!! I had read earlier reviews that people has a bad experience with Miguel and his sound issues, there were none at this concert. Elle Varner was amazing and Miguel was awesome and sounded sexy as usual!! Enjoyed it so much I almost bought tickets to see it again in Philly the next day but they were sold out. Definitely recommend you see them together if they are in you area!

The venue was ok. There was adequate railing/bars with wood you can place your drink on around the club to lean on. If you can't handle standing all night then I definitely would purchase a table. If purchasing general admission tickets - wear appropriate shoes. I purchased general admission tickets. Found a spot on the rail and stayed there all night. Miguel came on at 11:45pm. He had technical difficulty but continued the show until everything got back up and running. The highlight to the night - after the show Miguel came and sat in the VIP section right in front of the rail we were holding down. :) So, we got to meet Miguel and take pictures with him.

Back in July of this year I went to New York City to see, Miguel Perform live for the 1st time ever. One of the best shows I seen by far, so I thought. Im from Philadelphia & every time Miguel performed here, I always find myself missing the opportunity to see him. When Ticketmaster emailed me about his upcoming show here at the Theater of Living Arts on Nov.10th,2011, I booked my tickets ASAP !!! Doors opened at 7pm, with 2 opening acts J'Rome & Michael Patterson, They both did their thing, so definitely be on the lookout for them in the near future. Now it 9pm & MIGUEL hits the stage !!! All I can say is PANDEMONIUM all over the place !!! As I said before in a previous review this man can't sing, he can SANG his ass off ! Miguel isn't your typical RnB singer. He embodies all genres of music like Rock, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, & Pop and it shows in his music as well as his live performance. Miguel is one of the nicest, young cats in the RnB game period !! Vocally he's VICIOUS, Writing Skills & Album VICIOUS, Stage performance & Live Shows VICIOUS.. I'm telling you from a real music head, artist, & fan with MIGUEL you can believe that TRUE ARTISTRY is here !!! As Miguel would say "Its Fly Society, NOT high Society" ... Much Respect & 1 Luv... I traveled from my hometown Philadelphia, to New York City just to see Miguel live at BBKings on Thursday June.30th..Though I arrived 40 minutes early before the show, it was a line about 3 1/2 blocks down the street for Miguel. After waiting in line & enjoying the other performances finally MIGUEL graced the stage !! This man can't sing, he can SAANNGGG his ass off !!! He was AMAZING from the 1st song til the last. I haven't seen no other artist bring so much FIRE, PASSION, & INTENSITY to the stage since PRINCE.. By far Miguel is the Best young RnB male vocalist HANDS DOWN !!! Ladies & Gents you WON'T be disappointed, I guarantee. SO please support Real Music, support Real Talent, support MIGUEL....

my daughters first inroduced me to miguel a few years back, and im glad that we were able to finally see him in person. its good to see that hes such a humble human being and has not allowed his success change his demeanor. i truly hope for nothinb but the best for this young man.

I really enjoyed the performances from all of the artist, Tank, Ne-Yo, Fantasia, and Miguel. The atmosphere was awesome.

Wanted to see Tank and Ne-yo missed them both, Fantasia was on point. Miguel was also good.

We really enjoy Tank, Fantasia and Neo-Yo I didn't care much for Miguel. His choice of foul language turned me off. And he chose not to sing the one song that most people are familiar with. He should never have been the "headliner" for this show. Many people left after Fantasia's performance, she was amazing.

Awesome! He is such an engaging performer. Easily a mix between Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson.

Miguel brought his raw talent to the stage, it was a wonderful concert. He brought sex appeal and great vocals. The band was phenomenal and Drew, the guitarist, talented guy and knows how to woo the audience. Miguel was swoon-worthy and the lighting made the venue feel like you truly were in a "kaleidoscope dream". It has been awhile since I have been to a noteworthy R&B concert, but Miguel brought it.

AH MAY ZING! First r&b concert I've been to, very interactive, amazing live singer. With the exception of bobby valentino being the opening act -_________- the concert was phenomenal. Definitely see Miguel live.

I always knew Miguel was a talented artist but hearing him and his band live was an truly unbelievable experience and one of the best in my entire life. Excellent performer, excellent band (esp the guitarist), and great venue! I would go to this same concert a million times!

Miguel was amazing but I wish that he had performed for a longer period of time. However, I truly disliked Bobby V's entire performance and wished that someone else would have opened up for Miguel. In addition, he had the same amount of stage time as the main attraction Miguel, which I felt was unfair to the audience members who paid to see Miguel perform for a majority of the time. 93.9 was a lot more entertaining than Bobby V. I would rather have had them do the entire opening of the show....Lastly, we paid $20 for valet parking which was a real nightmare at the end of the night. We were not informed that we would be riding a shuttle bus at the end of the show to get to where our cars were parked. The shuttle bus could only fit so many people, so we had to wait for it to unload and come back. Then, we had to fight to get on it. NOT worth the $20 we paid for VALET parking!... On a more positive note, Miguel was AMAZING!! Def worth going out to D.C. to see him perform live. He had great stage presence and sang most of his hit songs. .... Bobby Valentino being the opening act and having the same stage time as Miguel is the reason why I gave this show an overall rating of 3/5.

Performance was great, the setup is great downstairs with the stage but up top should have been seating but nothing just reserved, weird setup

Besides standing the whole time niguel did a very outsranding job, the stage presence and vocals were on point...loved his performance
