HARD Summer Music Festival

All the dj's/performers put on amazing sets and I enjoyed every second of the event. Shout out to the paramedics and security and police officers for saving all of the lives that you did, never let the negative comments get to you.

The venue was great! There was basically no line for me to get my tickets at will call and the event staff were amazing. I remember laying down because my legs were tired and the staff popped outta nowhere and asked if I was okay even though all my friends were around me.

Hip-hop artist always take a little longer to come up on stage that and the regular DJ artist but overall a great event sixth time going definitely

This was such an amazing festival, the shows preformed were unforgettable, I will never miss this show again

It gives me chills to say this but I really do believe that Saturday of Hard was the best day of my life thus far. . It was a day where you couldn't have pictured it going any better and wouldn't want to change a single thing about the experience. There was such an intense feeling of happiness and good vibes going on all day. The staff was super friendly, there were no long lines getting in, the crowd was friendly, everyone was offering me water and gum all night (which was a lifesaver), and in my group of 10 friends everyone made it back safely to the limo and nobody lost their stuff or got hurt. I met a guy at the beginning of the concert and we became inseparable, it was like we bonded through this amazing experience and became kindred spirits. We reached another level together and by the end of the night, I felt as though I knew him forever. It makes me overwhelmingly happy and sad at the same time to have experienced such a euphoric and magical day. I am buying my ticket to next years show the day they go on sale.

Great location, amazing artists, super easy getting into the venue, good merch, abundance of food and drinks (free water!)... Just overall an amazing show for EDM lovers! I will be coming back year after year!

For all my music lovers.... YOU MUST GO to a HARDSUMMER festival. Definitely an amazing weekend & experience. Can't wait for next year!

Porter Robinson's set was the best hour of my life

I normally don't go to too many festivals, but I decided to attend this one and it was amazing. The Dj's were amazing and the free water was a big plus since there were so many people. Venue could have been different though The maze made it difficult to get to other stages.

We all had a lot of fun. Although getting into the campground was a pain, it was lit fam.

Even though security took a while to get through, and some workers did not know some simple questions... it seems like communication was a big deal because the workers were not consistently informed correctly. I was a little upset that the showers were not working the set-up night, before the festival started. But when the showers were open it had good pressure and hot water! Thank goodness <3 The festival grounds were spaced well so each stage is secluded and has it's own vibe. There were lots of food and drink vendors, bathroom stalls, and shaded areas to spend the whole day cruising around the festival. HARD Summer had great sounds and nice screens for visuals, lasers, and spot lights too.

The venue and everything for the most part was great! VIP wasn't as great. They sent an email about the great food selection and all they had at the main stage was ONE hot dog truck. The exclusive bathroom building was the bathroom for all the employees so there ended up being a major line to use them while general public bathrooms were the easiest in-and-out. At the other VIP section they had port-a-pottys. Maybe 10 to 13. By the end of the night they were backed up and gross. The VIP areas in front of the stage were amazing and I would do VIP again, if ever again, for that factor.

Everything was great but the parking and getting into and out of the event was terrible .

Lines were quick, there was plenty of water station. FOod is a bit expensive, but it is totlaly worth it to see 10+ of your favorite artists in one sitting.

The improvement from Hard Summer '16 to Hard Summer '17 was amazing!!! The entire event was perfection from having all the lines being quick and easy, as well as organized. By having a water station at the bottom of the venue was convenient because we we're able to drink water while waiting in the heat. The set up of all the stages was perfect and the water stations inside always went by super fast. Having phone service in some areas was nice because we were able to meet up with people. Overall, my HSMF experience was perfect and for it being my friend's first Hard event, he LOVED it. GREAT JOB GUYS!! <3 I'll definitely be going again next year!

I went to day one and this is the first festival I have gone to with my boyfriend. I had the best time of my life. One of the best weekends I have ever had in my life. The music, staff and attendees were all so great and friendly. Even upon entering, they almost made me take my backpack back to my car, but after a thorough search (and what I hope to be my cooperation) they let me take it inside. Thank god. Couldn't have asked for a better time.

Places to relax, lineup was solid, lines to get in were nothing to worry about!

I usually don't care for a hard events in my opinion, but this year was actually incredible. The people weren't as bad as usual. I think it may have a lot to do with the venue. I much prefer Glen Helen over the speedway ANY DAY HANDS DOWN. I really hope Hard events can continue to be held at Glen Helen, if so they can expect me next time!

This venue was SPECTACULAR to have HARD SUMMER AT!! Way better than Cali speed way! Everything was Awesome at this venue (blockbuster pavilion)!!

I enjoyed this time for sure, If you compare this Hard summer with the last three ones, it def got way better so thank you but i'm not sure if the next one will be the same as the ones before this one.

Wow, what a turnaround from last year. This year was insaneeee, so well put together. The line to get in? No problem, a breeze to get in. Stages were memorable. Cannot wait for what's in store for next year.

I think HARD has finally found its perfect venue. With some more investing in art installations around the grass, more trash cans, and wiser set times for the artists, this area can be very homey for the socal house, hip hop, and dub scene. With these changes, HARD would be a 10 instead of a 6.

You either go HAM or ya go home. Harder stage could have had better sound quality as there was a lot of static noise. I wish there was a recycling program though and not have people trash that venue!! It got trashy real quick, people left to right would throw trash on the ground, not cool! The sun was definitely beating down, but it was great to have so many water fans and stations provided. Would love to have cleaner drinking H20 next year. The experience at Hard Fest overall, was one of the best music festivals for sure.

Event was great. It was my first event like this ever

Loved the new venue, but hated the parking situation. One major flaw is that you guys need to re-work the green stage. It's way too small for the amount of people that try to fit in and the speakers are only in the front; you can't hear well in the back so there needs to be more speakers. You also need fans in the tent since it gets too hot.

I loved the venue! Once my friends and I were in there we had a blast. However, our Uber took us to the drop off and told us a shuttle will take us to and from the venue. There was about 20 people in line and we waited forever for a small shuttle to pick us up. Not everyone fit so we had to go on another shuttle. The second shuttle that we were told to go on sat there for 20 minutes as we waiting for the staff to get on which was weird because we had to go drop them off first before heading to the event. Just to get there took forever which didn't seem necessary since we went around 5pm. That wasn't even the worst part. When we left for the shuttle nothing was organized. There was no "line" just a big fence. It took us 2 1/2 hours to get on a shuttle. We were crammed in line people pushing and people almost getting in fights. People were jumping over the fence and cutting to get on the shuttle. Some of the workers were pushing the crowds back with the actual fence and kicking people's feet. They needed more shuttles and a much more organized line. It was seriously a mad house and over shadowed what a fun time we had at Hard. That's all my friends still talk about was how horrible and crazy of an experience that was and because of that we probably won't go back.

Been coming to Hard Fest since 2014. New location every year. But this one felt right. The uber drop off, the shuttle to the venue, line for security all felt like it moved quickly. Once I was in, it was real easy to move about. I could go to the stage I want, water access easy to find, best part, there was plenty of shade. Stage production this year was the best by far. Perfect mix of EDM and Hip-hop. You know I'm already waiting for my 5th year going!

For my first rave is was really sick, too many good vibes, met new people & just had a badass time with my boys

It was great! Everyone I know hates on hard because it's mostly during the day time, but honestly it was so sick! Everyone performed great! All the artists had some awesome visuals, would deff's go again next year

Hard Summer Day 1 was so far the best day of my life! It was extremely hot but totally worth the money. Each stage was semi-close to a water station so that was a huge plus when switching sets.

The ADA parking was full when I arrived at 7pm. Had to walk tons. The $10 smoothie was the worst smoothie I've had in my life, tossed it. $10 slice of pizza my friend had was disgusting and tossed. My korbel split? Warm! It took 3 hours to leave the parking lot once the event finished!! Unacceptable. The music at HARD used to be just that: hard. Not anymore. It was watered down mediocre crap. Such a disappointment. Been to several HSMF and Day of the Dead because I enjoy the harder styles of EDM, but this 10 year fest was the biggest waste of money/time.

If you like hiking in 100 degree weather and watching DJ's, HARD summer is for you!

3rd HARD event and have to it was my favorite. Raceway was WAY bigger than fairplex (I hated fairplex). Again, had a great time but just going to put a few things I think could be fixed to make next year even better (I camped so didn't have any experience with the long security lines). 1. - MAKE THE MAP ACCURATE. The event map showed the green stage inside the race way (it was not). 2. - Not only was the green stage pretty far from all the other stages, but there were only three gates connecting the main entrance and green stage area to the main race way. Took almost 25 minutes at times just to get from harder stage to green. NOT ORGANIZED Thats basically it. Amazing experience, amazing artists, awesome.

Hard summer was my first festival & I went with my boyfriend. We had a blast it was so much fun the people & the vibes were great. My only complaint was that getting in & out of the venue was complete chaos. It took us 2 hours to get in the venue the 2nd day & took us over an hour approximately to get out. It was very unorganized but other than that I wish I could relive the experience. It has brought me & my boyfriend that much closer. Thank you hard! I'll be returning next year definitely.

The music was awesome great sound system and etc... However it took over and hour to get through security. Took and hour and a half to leave. All the security guards and staff barely knew where the official exit was thus many people were walking aimlessly until we happened to find the "official" exit. I had such a bad experience with getting there and leaving I decided not to go Sunday even though I bought the two tickets together the day the tickets came out.

Oh my god this festival was sooooo great, definitely better than what I've heard about it. The lineup wa also really good this year. I just wish some of the artists' performance times wouldn't clash with others. For example while I was watching The Weeknd during the middle of his set Porter Robinson, another artist, started performing at another stage far away so I couldn't get there in time. But other than that it was awesome and amazing and it just left me with great memories and an unforgettable experience for my first festival to ever attend.

I attended Hard Summer last year at the Whittier Narrows, and now that I've been to Hard Day of the Dead AND Hard Summer at the Fairplex, I definitely think the venue change was a bad bad bad idea. I understand that they needed more space because much more people came but this venue was way too spread out. It took 10-15 minutes to get from the Purple Stage to the Harder Stage. That is ridiculous. There also weren't enough direct routes to get to the stages. The only time it worked was when you go from any of the Pink, Green or Purple stages since they are right next to each other. On the topic of the indoor stages, it was either a hit or total miss. I was unable to see What So Not at the Purple stage because it reached capacity and they weren't allowing people inside. IF it had been a tent (like at last year's Hard Summer) then I might have been able to actually see one of the artists I paid for. But on the other hand, when less popular artists were playing during huge headliners at the main stage, the indoor stages were amazing. For example, Jack Ü was a massive crowd that obviously everyone wanted to be a part of. I watched about 10 minutes from the very back of it and decided to go see Branchez at the Purple Stage and I am SO GLAD I did. There weren't that many people in there so it wasn't too hot and sticky, plus the show was more intense because it was louder and the visuals were closer. That ended up being my favorite set of the weekend. Last comment is that it should be illegal to charge $4 for a water bottle. I understand that there is free water refills, but what should someone do if they don't have a cup or bottle? $4?!?!?!?!?! Are you kidding me?????? A pack of 24 water bottles from the market costs $3.50!!! Coachella has and always will charge $2 and that is much more reasonable. Take note.

Overall amazing yeah it was hot but it's August in Pomona what do you expect. They had free water and amazing artists! Definitely go

I'm extremely satisfied with this event! Definitely not missing out on edc next year! All the djs and people I saw at hard summer were really cool! My favorite sets were axwell, tiesto, Jack ü, kill the noise, Dillon Francis, tchami and many more.only down side was that there was a lot of dust, (like enough to cover your your entire body) but it was expected since it was an outdoor event.overall I really had a lot of fun over the weekend and I'm pretty sure I'm coming back next year and most likely going to hard day of the dead.

Got to see the coolest DJs, got to have the greatest moments, met so many people, and fell in love with my friends all over again.

Had a great time. No complains.... Great music and good vibes. I only had one problem and that was the taxi and über rides were super pricey and we had to walk miles away from the venue just to get someone to pick us up. They were not allowing any pick ups or drop offs near the venue.

Been wanting to go to hard summer for a couple years now and finally got the chance to fly out to LA and experience this insane festival! Music was loud! food was good! Amazing people! Amazing line up! Overall a great venue, recommend to anyone thinking about going next year!

I had a great time! Jumping and dancing all night! The only problems were the water stations and parking. They needed to be more organized. The parking area should have had more signs and also people in the area for help.

I always have a great time at every Festival of this kind that i go to. It was definitely a dust bowl though from all the shuffling in the dirt, but i still can't complain! I was happy there was some shade here or there from the trees and overall enjoyed the venue. I REALLY LIKE HOW THE OVER 21 AREA was set up. So we could go in there and still be semi close to the stage and away from the kids!!

Best way to end the Harder stage was with Nero man deep dark basslines and techy melodies it was like a movie

Music was loud. Lights were bright. All the DJs were interacting with the audience and making this so much fun. Everything was great except there was one problem. There was so much dirt and dust everywhere. It was a turn off because of my asthma. I went to the medical booth but they quickly turned me away without even really listening to what I had to say. I spent most of the time chocking on the dust and wheezing my way through the event. Had I know about this I would have brought a mask or bandana to cover up.

This years hard summer was so much better than last years, the new venue was great and everything the only thing is all the dirt flyig around on the main stage that really bugged me because it was supposed to be "greener" but overall nothing to complain about the artists were amazing as well as the sound and visuals defiantly coming again next year

Besides Hard Summer 2011, this years event has been the best so far! I enjoyed every genre of music at each stage, the crowds vibe was intimate & attending it alone on both days made me feel happy about life. Although, the venues dirt gave me bad allergy reaction & I also lost my voice; also will call & parking could have been faster & more organized; I LOVED IT! Can't wait for Hards Fest NEXT upcoming festival!

Excellent line-up...Mind Blown from BASSNECTAR. There seemed like 10,000+ people around the park, so many people. Do not wear new sneakers (ravers should know this) they will get dirty. Crowded and sweaty but everyone had a great time, great party, good food. The Shave Ice was really good and good deal for the price. THE BASS was hard and the artists were great

I've been to Coachella, EDC, and Hard Day of the Dead and I can say I think I had the most fun at Hard Summer or at least got the most for my money. There were no lines at all. Some of the friendliest concert goers I have ever been around. All of the stages were very cool and well separated. If you're a fan of any type of electronic music (besides trance) Hard had it this year. There were HUGE names such as Knife Party, Dog Blood, Flux Pavillion, Disclosure, Kill Noise, Duck Sauce, Tommy Trash, RL Grime & Clockwork (separate shows!), Empire of the Sun, Zedd, Bassnectar, Crystal Castles, Dillon Francis, 2 Chainz, Flosstradamus, Baauer, Justice, Gesaffelstein, and many more all in 2 days. Everyone I know saw at least several shows that really blew their mind. For me it was Flosstradamus, Flux Pavillion, Knife Party, and Dillon Francis. The only thing I wish was different was the start and end times. No one wants to go to a rave during the day. The atmosphere is just so much better at night.

HARD Summer Music Festival was the best music festival that I have attended so far and I'm eager for next years event. All the performances that I saw was incredible and I will never forget each of them.

It was my first time attending such festival & I had the best time I have ever had in my life! Not only was it so much fun but the people and staff were beyond amazing and so caring!!

An amazing event, full of amazing people! It does get a little too hot but overall you are guaranteed a great time! Despite long entrance lines .. VIP is recommended. i have major Hard Summer withdrawals !! I want to go back ASAP!

First music festival I've been to and I loved every minute of it. Had many of my favorite artists there.

Fontana speedway was a perfect venue! So organized and lines were not bad at all for water stations and restrooms. 20x better than last year at the Pomona FairPlex. Lineup was good and the sound was great. I hope they have hard summer again at the speedway.

as a first timer myself. it was the best rave/music festival in my luife. i had so much fun and discovered new artist and awesome music. definitely going next year.

So I bought these tickets because me and my girlfriend went back in 2014 and since it's the 10 year anniversary I said why not and the lineup was really good. We enjoyed both days the only problem was the shuttle situation it was ridiculous we lined up after the last show which was 11 and we didn't get back to our hotel which was only 9 miles away.

I love HARD Summer although now that Live Nation has ousted Destructo I don't think I will be attending in the future. HARD started mainly with EDM but now has a great mix of hip-hop and EDM. I think this is very appealing the younger generation although if you are over 30 and looking for a rave scene, this might not be for you. Personally, I like both, so it rocks!

This year was a lot more organized and the set list was awesome! Every artist and DJ that I wanted to see was all spread out so I got to see all of them. I loved this year. I think it was a lot better and more organized than last year!

I have been going to Hard for three years, and this is the best one so far! The staff was great, the venue was great, I feel that they wanted to make sure all attendees were well taken care of. They had plenty of shade, misters, and free water stations set up to ensure nobody over heated. Music was great, stages were great, food was great! Bravo HArd Summer!

Last hard summer was possibly the most unorganized event I've ever been to. This year The had redeemed itself with a new a venue. First water stations, misters, and bathrooms were almost everywhere it was amazing. Crowds weren't that bad either. And it took maybe 15 mins to get inside too. The artists were absolutely amazing especially Yehme2 and justice! If the venue stays the same I will be back again.

The show and lineup were well put together although the first night the organization of vehicles leaving the venue at the same time was out of control. Maybe more traffic control and assistance would have made the experience smoother for the first night. The second seem much better when leaving the venue. Thank you for a wonderful and safe two nights.

The venue really did work wonders, so glad that it got switched last minute! The set up was amazing, the stages had all the sound we finally needed from hard to deliver. Not to mention every artist / dj/ producer threw down and made the 10yr unforgettable. Hoping there's more to come. After 5 years of HARD, I can't have it be over!!!!

I really liked the venue and the activities they provided. They had lots of shade tents and misters to cool you down in the hot sun with lots of free water provided. Also camping was super fun and I highly recommend it. They had a water park and plenty of free activities to keep you busy when you aren't in the festival.

This was my third year at HARD Summer and probably one of the best experiences I've had out of all of them. The lines were short (as long as you came early), security was nice, weather was perfect with a breeze all day both days and cooled down by 5 pm, the venue was amazing - lots of grass! The layout was everything from the shade tents, to the water structures, and the stages. I was very grateful for real bathrooms and on Sunday they had ice bags for people to grab ice for free! Something I've never seen at any other festival. Compared to the other two years I felt that this year was very organized; they finally knew what they were doing. Besides that, all the djs and performances were amazing as usual. That's something HARD never disappoints in which is why I enjoy coming every year! Hopefully with Gary leaving, Live Nation will keep HARD the same music wise and I really hope it stays at Glen Helen from now on! Best weekend and definitely one for the books with my festie besties <3

This year's venue was 1000x better and the parking lot (for us at least) was easier to exit and the artists were awesome! Sad the waterpark was at the campground sp we couldn't use it but oh well, great weekend. Please make it last longer!! Even just start 1 hour later so we can dance later into the night!

Many are familiar with stories of Hard Summer's unbearable heat, long entry/exit lines, limited water. As this was my first HSMF, I was nervous about all of these...which turned out to be nonexistent! Staff/security was so helpful--I saw them checking on people numerous times. Water stations were plentiful. There was an awesome breeze and good amounts of shade throughout the venue. I think Glen Helen was a necessary change for this festival--the only things I would complain about are the setup of the misting stations (not high or widespread enough for multiple people to enjoy at once) and the huge muddy spots that seemed to pop up even in daylight?? If they have another great lineup next time around, I would definitely consider going again.

My favorite festival to date . Needed a few more trash cans and a few more parking attendants but the music and vibes were on point. HARD is what you make it.

If you went to Hard Summer last year (2016) I'm sure you know it was just a complete nightmare! This years venue, the Glen Helen Amphitheater, was such an improvement. Despite the heat, they had plenty of areas where you could chill and cool down and hide from the sun! The DJs did not disappoint either! Way to go Anna Lunoe, best set of the weekend, and home girl was 8 months pregnant! My only complaint, and it is a pretty big deal, is that we paid $20 for "VIP" parking and got stuck in the parking lot for 3 HOURS after the event was over on the first night...COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS. I ended up asking a friend to come pick us up after Day 2 ,but not everyone has this luxury...so I really hope next year they have better traffic control.

For my first Hard Fest, it was MUCH more enjoyable than I anticipated. VIP was definitely worth it in terms of the proximity to stage and the pool by the Harder stage. I am not much of an EDM, House, etc music person, but still liked some of the DJ sets. I was there to see Rae Sremmurd, Migos, and Tinashe and they did not disappoint!

It was amazing, the sound system was unbeatable and every stage was packed. The underground artists were the best part of the show, they killed it. But baauer was king.

iI absolutely had a freaking blast!!!! I love that its not pure house music, its a little of everything for everyone, which is my idea of perfect!! LOVEDDDD DJ Snakes set!! He killed it. I met Destructo (Gary) the man, the myth, the damn legend! Sweetest guy ever, really super humble. This time around the festival was huge, did not even get a chance to go see everything. One thing that sucks so bad, but theres not much they can do about it, is PARKING!!!!!!! I cannot stress how important it is to pay $20 for VIP parking, otherwise you will be stuck there for hours.

I attended HARD in 2016 and enjoyed it, however knew there were a lot of flaws. But this year, HARD blew me away. You could tell the company truly worked hard to make it a good weekend, which i loved. 1. The campsite- ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! 2. The venue- the venue was perfect. Every stage was great (my favorite being green tent because everyone in there was ready to rage), there was shade everywhere, and i was never too hot. 3. Water- I literally always had access to a water station. The best part is that i could walk up to any tent selling drinks and they'd give me free ice as well. 4. Positivity- everyone there was so nice. Last year, people weren't too happy if you tried pushing by them or ran in front of them. This year with the temperatures cool and everyone hydrated, no one seemed to mind what others did. I had an amazing time!

I'm not sure why they decided to change the venue last minute but I'm really glad they did. Glen Helen ampitheatre never disappoints. The event as a whole was way more organized than last year, so I'm really happy they listened to all of the feedback. I hope it stays at this venue! Goooo Hard!!!!
