I hadn't seen Jethro Tull since 1969! I took my son to this show, not knowing what to expect since it was billed as a Rock Opera. It was very clever. The added vocals were all beautiful, and the video was wonderful! Ian Anderson is so fun to watch, even after 47 years!

Amazing show and venue. I have seen Cynic 3 times within the last few years and this venue def. had the best sound. Was very intimate - the perfect place to see a show. There was no bad place to stand or sit. Would recommend in a heartbeat!! Opening bands were good and very cool - got to talk with them in between sets. Very laid back setting and croud - just about perfect!

It was a great concert! The band interacted with the crowd in a way that made you feel like you were real friends with them... very conversational. It was really fun to hear them talk and joke around between songs. Probably the nicest group of people I've met, as far as bands go. And the music was great! They had a lot of energy and never seemed to tire. A very fun night (although I did get in trouble for taking photos with my phone).

I've been a huge fan of these guys since 2006. I don't understand why they are not a household name yet. I spread the word as much as possible and have created a few new fans around my area. They haven't hit it huge yet, probably because blues music is not one of the most popular genres, nowadays. I contend that even if you aren't a 'blues fan', you'd still have an appreciation for the talent in this band. I love SRV, as does Mato Nanji. When I describe the band to someone who has not heard them, it's basically a band who sounds like SRV but with a bit more 'soulful voice'. Definitely worth checking out. Mato's masterful guitar skills, smooth vocals, and humble stage presence make for a great concert.

The venue was the only thing holding back the concert. Sammi performed great but the set-up was in the events section of Caesars and not the concert hall. Make shift stage prevents the typical high energy canton-pop show.

The concurrence of cultures, musical traditions, crashing brains with the power of assuredness. How they could do another show the next night, I do not know. They gave their awl.

Hem Live and The Sinclair. I have been listening to Hem for years, but to witness Sally Ellyson sing and Dan Messe pound on the keyboard was a treat. Steve Curtis and Gary Maurer where amazing on the strings and George Rush filled the room with the stand up Base. Dawn Landes was a great opener and seemed to revel in the back up role marveling in the ease of presence and clarifying power of Sally's voice. The Sinclair was a great place for the show and I will be back.
