2 seats on the glass for $70?!?!? That's a great deal! Good venue, if not a bit expensive.

It was a bummer that the Monarchs lost, but the overall experience is amazing! The players are great to watch, and the arena entertainment is a blast! We caught a game on Star Wars night... that was very cool.

The game was a fun family night adventure with friends. The Monarchs do a great job at keeping the kids entertained at all times during the game, and break times. My girls were trying to catch a T-shirt, to no avail, but the fun was in the trying!! They had a blast trying to get on the big screen, last night they didn't get on, but they have before. All of it is a thrill. The family time, laughs and treats will last a long while. They especially love Max, the mascot. We got his picture and autograph, so they were all excited. Our friends that came along also had an awesome time.

We had a great family night, brought our 8yr old and 17 month old, she loved Max. But thank goodness, i checked out the website re: who needs a ticket, i thought it was anyone under 2 could sit on a lap. So when i noticed it was anyone under 1, i bought a ticket in the balcony for my little one, then put her on our lap anyways. We all had a fun time!

Four fights in the first period alone, but Lowell was just too much. Still, Monarchs games are always a lot of fun.

It was a great family event. All the areas that I was in were clean & appeared to be well maintained. Parking was easy.

Seats were very close couldnt see past the players sitting on the bench but it didnt bother me whatsoever. GREAT GAME AND SEATS.

i love going to monarchs games, but Max last night just wasnt doing a good job! i remember my first game and he got the fans cheering 5 or 6 times, last night he had his the clapping thing twice! That normally gets the whole stadium pumped up!! it just wasnt the same! MAX LETS GO!!! GET ON YOUR GAME!!!

Nice venue. Very good hockey. One concession worker's response to a problem with a coffee lid malfunction "I dont know what to tell you, deal with it!". Other staff members were more than courteous, it was a great time!

Great game, super seats, awesome team:) The arena is ideal for viewing the game. Don't think there's a bad seat in the house. The intermissions activities were fun to watch.

Pleased with the overall crowd for this event. It was very family oriented and everyone in our group enjoyed the fun and activities between the periods in the hockey game.

Just an great game. My grandson had a very good time and enjoys seeing hockey games. Ideally, we'd like to see the Monarchs play the Sound Tigers. My grandson lives in Orange CT and goes to about 5 games a year in Bridgeport. This was his second time seeing the Monarchs.

This was the first hockey game I've ever gone to. I did want to see the Bruins play but was put off by the cost so decided to go and watch a more local AHL game. We paid $22 for premier seats through ticket master and were five rows back from the center line, so ticket master works, we paid $5 for parking - finding a spot was the only tricky thing but it worked out great as we found a spot really close to the Arena. The atmosphere was great, very friendly, upbeat and it was a nice clean, well organized arena. The food was a little too expensive but you kind of expect that. The game was great, the entertainment was good too, lots of local schools involved which I liked. I would definitely go and see another AHL game in Manchester, I really enjoyed myself and I'm planning to go again in a couple of weeks, I think I'm hooked!

We ended up with great seats, it was a good experience overall. I think anyone that is looking for a non-traditional night out should totally try going to a hockey game!

I thought last nites game was very boring. We have seen the monarchs many times and the game was just not enjoyable. I hope this was just an off night for the team.

My Son and I sat right next to the Monarchs penalty box, and when Kevin Westgarth winked at my 8 years Son he made an 8 year old Child very happy.

This was the second time I have gone to opening night last time the lost this time they won....Very good game......I wish Vermont had a team!!!! So I would not have to drive 2 hours to see a game.........but well worth it

It has been a long time since I have been to a Monarchs game. I used to go to every single game (even some away ones) with my friend who was a season ticket holder when we were younger. Before the Monarchs move out of state, I decided to take my son to a game. He had a blast. It was a very exciting game down to the last minute. My son (who is 4) was pretty disappointed that he couldn't get an envelope from the blimp and failed to get on the dance cam no matter how hard he tried. At the end of the game, the Monarchs MVP player tossed him a t-shirt, and the Verizon employees who had noticed him called him over to give him a puck that was played with in the game. He was on cloud 9! I would definitely take him again.

I took my grandchildren as a Christmas gift. The hockey game was fun and exciting. The entertainment throughout the night (dropping tickets from a mini blimp, throwing tee shirts to the fans and the baby crawl) was AWESOME! My granddaughter is an intense sports fan and was rooting for the Monarchs all night who beat the Ice Caps 4 to 0. The fireworks was an amazing way to end a perfect New Year's eve celebration. Also great tickets, great price.

My fiancée and I had a great time for our first monarchs game. The people were amazing and the enviornment was fun and engaging.

I purchased (2) tickets and a Parking pass for myself and my 4yr old son. He is a huge hockey fan and was part of his 4th birthday. He unfortunately missed the puck drop and the first 10 minutes of the game due to the terrible arrangement that is the parking garage. The remainder of the game was excellent and we had a great time. The folks at Verizon & Monarchs do a great job during the game. They really do a lot to keep the crowd entertained and fireworks after the Monarchs win was great. ---Parking Disaster--- I arrived to the parking garage 1hr before the event started. I was allowed to enter into the parking garage with my pre-purchased parking pass. This was all going well and then quickly became a nightmare. It was very quickly evident that this was not going to be a good time. The garage was packed, quickly arrived at the TOP of the garage after finding no spots in the lower levels. Now stuck in a traffic jam. It took 45 minutes to make the loop around the top of the garage and start heading towards the exit. About 15 minutes later by the grace of pure luck i was halted in traffic towards the bottom and a person was leaving, allowing me to snag a spot. Quickly i hustled out of the garage and made the walk to Verizon with my 4yr old in tow. Sadly, 10 minutes late to a game i arrived a hour early for .... I would no recommend this parking garage to anyone. The technology exists to monitor traffic in and out of the garage and know what spaces are available ... put it to use.

Great game, great seat. Additional charges for the seat was way overpriced and I was not informed of this by the gentleman I spoke with in the Monarchs' offices about the double surcharge.

I took my daughter to the game. It was my second time going to a Monarchs game. I thought it was an awsome hockey game, and I was excited to see a shoot out, as I've never seen one in person before. Providence won the game in the shoot out. I also got my daughter's picture taken with Max the mascot who came and sat with us. I would reccomend going to a game for any family.

What a great night! Service appreciation night, great to thank all in uniform who do what they do. Great seats, got to see the Monarchs put up 7, including scoring on the penalty shot to lock up free fries!

This is the first Monarchs game we have gone to - my son and I sat in section 106 right in front of the Plexi-glass - it was an amazing experience - This is definitely a family oriented event with all kinds of activites going on to keep the kids interested - Can't wait to go again....

As a Hershey Bears fan, I'm spoiled by attending games with 10,000+ fans. Given the success of Manchester this season, I would expect more fan support. Verizon Wireless is a nice arena. Plenty of concessions. Getting out of the parking garage across the street was frustrating. It was a back and forth game throughout, with each team scoring only 1 goal in regulation. After a scoreless overtime, Hershey wins on a goal by Boyd Kane in the 5th round of a shootout. Very exciting.

What can you say about those Manchester Monarchs. At first I thought we were going to be in some serious trouble with the Bruins getting a goal in the first 20 seconds of the game. I immediately thought to myself "I think this is going to be a high scoring game". I was correct!!! It was a game full of excitement and great scoring. Go Monarchs!!!

There isn't a bad seat at the arena, and the staff there really make it fun for kids and the people who may not be into hockey. There's plenty to do! Plus, the fireworks were amazing; I didn't know that fireworks on ice were even possible!

I live within 6 or 7 blocks of the Verizon, so it's easy to get there and I can easily walk there. Traffic is no where near as bad as some of the bigger cities and the prices are very affordable. The game was great as usual (the fact that the Monarchs won made it even better)and the extra entertainment for the fans is always fun!! I would recommend going to a game and experiencing it first hand.

The monarchs are certainly not the same AHL squad that won the Calder Cup just a few short years ago, but don t let that deter you. These guys are talented and old school. The arena was clean, comfortable and run well (albeit a little empty) seats were easy to find and had a great view. Not a bad seat in the house. Fan giveaways and interactions were present without being too in your face. Food and souvineers were a bit pricey but not over the moon for an arena like this. The game was absolutely the star of the show. The play was fast paced tough and old school for fans of rock em sock em hockey but not purely a boxing match. The teams traded goals throughout the game going back and forth leading to an exciting overtime victory for the monarchs. This game surely lacks the bright lights of the American hockey league but in my opinion is a hidden gem for sports fans tucked away in the heart of the granite state.

We purchased these tickets because it was Marvel night with costume contest. The information said to sign up at guest services. We talked to three different people that gave us information but no one seem confident in the details. We were told people would be walking around and picking their favorites. We never saw anyone walking around. The info we got was there would Ben multiple contests and there was one. The intermission stuff is much less interesting than it used to be. I wouldn t pay for a game again but I d go if someone gifted them to us

We have attended a Monarchs game on NYE many times! Always a great time. Family friendly, exciting hockey, fireworks! Great entertainment! And its early enough for young ones to enjoy!

Typical hard hitting, close checking playoff hockey even at "AA" level. Exciting game but somewhat disappointed in small crowd for a game 5. Nice arena but too many empty seats. More used to smaller venues. Arena staff very friendly.

This year was the first time we ever have been to a monarchs game. Needless to say we have been to at least 10 games this season. Very reasonable priced tickets. My kids love players. They come home recreating what they saw for days. Cant wait for this weekend. Lets Go Monarchs!!!

Great seats in a good venue. Monarchs staff put on a good show even though the on ice product has changed. with the lack of fans, not all food stations are open, but staff is friendly.

The hockey game was a fun time. I would not stay for the fireworks again. Too smoky and way too loud.

If you want good seats, cheap and love the sport this place is perfect. Up close and get a real feel for the game.

A group of us went to the game as a birthday celebration. The game was great, seats were great, we had a wonderful time. However, I made the $25 donation to the Monarchs non profit group in order to get my friend's name on the video board, but his name was left out.... I don't mind giving a donation, but $25 was more than I would have given had it not been for the promise of seeing my friends name on the board.

What a great time I had with my children and husband during the game. Truly a great time for families and was so happy to experience first hand the Monarchs win 3-1! Also, I would like to thank the gentleman with the suit who gave my son's including my 7 year old son who has autism a Monarchs bag filled with goodies truly made their day. My autistic son was beaming.

Even with enhanced security procedures (the metal detectors are fairly new), the check-in process was seamless (yeah, I had to toss my pocket knife, my bad) and the Arena staff was cheerful, helpful and just pleasant. It was a great family event and will be back to the Arena for another event and will be back for more Monarch games!

Amazing atmosphere and fun for all ages. We were lucky enough to sit right behind the players, my kids were in awe at how friendly they were. The Verizon arena staff were great and very helpful. Would recommend this to any family whether you're a hockey fan or not.

Great seats right near the ice! A lot of action in the game. Great that they had the Stanley Cup and other trophies including the Red Sox World Series Trophies at the game. Very nice they took high quality photos for free!!!

Every New Years Eve for the past 6 years we have gone to the Monarch's game. We take our granddaughter and a friend and our 2 nephews. The game was good, the Monarch's won in OT and the fire works on the ice afterward were also good as usual. It's a fun family time and you are home long before midnight.

They kept the name and the price but the the hockey value dropped considerably. Maybe I got spoiled watching good quality hockey at a fair price. Attending as many games as we do each year it was evident from the opening face off that this was not the Monarchs I knew. I was led to believe that these players were almost as good as what we had. That is not the case. The skating is slower, the stick handling poorer, the passing needs major improvement. For the most part even the between period antics were not enjoyable. The only high point was the baby race. Even fireworks couldn't keep our interest.

The game started slow, but picked up momentum... a couple punches thrown in there, too! I have a question... why does it take so long to announce penalties and scorers?

This was my sons first hockey game. He had such a good time for the price. We were able to purchase 3 tickets for less than the price of one Bruins ticket. So much fun.

We went to a bunch of games last year and loved it. We are disappointed that the prices didn't decrease when the lower level team came in. We won't be going to many games like we did last year.

The new Monarchs played with the full intensity and demonstrated puck handling and skating skills that were exceptional. The arena does its job at getting the audience engaged in the event and throughout the arena.

The fact that the Monarchs are moving to Cali is understandable but in the same token heart wrenching. New Hampshire is not a warm state and deserves a quality hockey team. Hopefully the new team coming in can light it up in the same fashion. We had great seats for game two and are hoping for a cup! We ended up in the second row and had a great view of the final goal. Over all, easy good time in Manch-Vegas.

It's exciting to watch a hockey game at the Verizon Center. There is not a bad seat in the arena. The concession areas are all close by and the staff are friendly and helpful. The is never a boring moment as you are entertained the entire evening from intermission chuck a puck, to Portland Pies, to free fries the list is endless. To say we had a wonderful time is an understatement. We have been to many different functions and never have left disappointed. For a fabulous night of pure fun go to any of the many events at the Verizon Center.

Good physical game that was exciting with the Monarchs winning in OT. The arena was nice and comfortable, view was good although maybe next time I would sit a bit further back as the plexi obscures the view to one of the corners of the ice (this happens at all hockey games).

I recently purchased two online tickets to an AHL playoff game in Manchester NH. The best seats available option had few choices as this was an "if necessary" game five final. What a surprise when my son and I were seated in the front row, ice level just left of the penalty box.These seats were great. I had also been guaranteed a credit return if the game did not take place. Ticketmaster provided great service at a great price.

I was very disappointed with the floors in the seating area.Very sticky The pricing is too high. The add on fees and not being able to buy thru a box office is a turn off.

Obviously the best team in the AHL. Great staff, nice venue, amazing team.

It was a fun time, despite smoke alarm going of mid-second period and having the whole Arena evacuated. Everybody was pretty calm and courteous, and it only took about 25 minutes

The game was awesome. The fireworks were great. My son and his friend thought all of the extra stuff was great. He loved watching the new enlistees take their oath. We are going to miss the Monarchs when they leave.

A great venue, comfortable and a competitive / chippy game... Love hockey in Manch!

The game was fine. We won a prize (restaurant gift cards for our whole row if the Monarchs scored in the first 5 mimutes of the 3rd period). No one came around to give us the gift cards. There was no announcement on how to collect. So after the game we asked an usher and he told us to go to customer service. So we went. They just sort of shrugged and said don't know what to tell you. Thirty minutes later we finally got our gift cards (as did the rest of our row). It was borderline not worth it. The traffic cop was gone by then, and the kids ended up in bed a lot later than I would have liked.

My 9 year old boys love going. They have activities that get the kids interested--Chuck a Puck, school performances, Raffles, blimp that drops gift certificates, throwing free T-shirts to the crowd, etc. More than you would get at a Bruins game and so much less of a hassle (and expense!!).

Let me preface this review by saying the team won with an incredible sudden death OT goal. So the game was impressive on it's own. But we got tickets on the glass, and it was a ton of fun. With the talent level on the ice, it's surprising that more folks don't take advantage of seeing a game that close up. Highly recommended as a fun night out on the town. Don't forget to buy your orange pucks for the 'Chuck-a-Puck' contest during intermission.

I brought my 2 kids to their first hockey game and they had so much fun. Loved our seats! Kids got high fives from some of the players! The game was great and I will definitely go again!

First time at Verizon Wireless Arena. Very easy to find, great facilities, food was good and the Manchester Monarchs won. Prices were very competitive and more convenient than traveling to Boston. Will definitely be going more regularly. Only negative was the parking situation; there was a long line of cars trying to get out at the conclusion of the game so we decided to walk up and down Elm Street and after 45 minutes, the crowd of fans had left.

The game was most excellent. Who doesn't love a 4-0 shutout? That said, one of the major reasons we go to the New Year's Eve game is for the after show and fireworks. The slideshow was "o.k." but not engaging. But the fireworks were unimaginative and the music was just monotonous, single-tempo, screaming rock. Whoever did the show should not be invited back again.

Had a great time we always go at least two to three games a year.
