(Venue is great)My friends , family and I ALWAYS enjoy Black jacket symphony , until this visit! We were so disappointed , mostly with the singer( axel rose rep.) who was NOT doing note by note yet seemingly trying to do it in his own way. The first half of the show was the worst! Some ppl got up and left. My husband walked out also. Tho the second half was better then first , it wasn t good enough to EVER recommend . The rest of the band are AWESOME , the music was GOOD! That said , it seemed like singer had a bad mic or couldn t use it well, we couldn t hear a lot of words and it seemed like others had to try fill in for that. Also of course concerts are LOUD, But (exp.in first half of show) the noise from band/speakers seemed louder then the Actual MUSIC. I hate giving THIS review but feel it s REALLY NEEDED ! We will Still go see Black Jacket Symphony again , But never when they do Guns & Roses. We all loved when they did AC/DC and a couple of us will see it again but the bulk of our group that went last year said No they already seen it! Good but not enough to repeat this soon. Eagerly awaiting more ....Aerosmith , Fleetwood Mac, chic, Rep speed wagon,Led Zeppelin , the Doors,ELO, Boston,The Steve Miller band,Bob Seger,? Metallica ?? Ozy?? If possible !! Just to name a few.

Amazing enjoyable performance. Being led Zepplin, it should have been louder. Not that it wasn't loud, just Led Zepplin should be painfully loud. MPAc Security tries too hard to keep people in their seats. They do not allow dancing in the aisles. This was mostly an older crowd, but the few people who danced in the aisles were warned and then escorted out, possibly arrested. C'mon people, lighten up!

Excellent recreation of Dark Side of the Moon. The music was spot on and the vocals were incredible. Especially the pretty little lady with great big voice. The second set was just as enjoyable. A Best of ... live.

To be honest, I was not sure if it was going to be good. 1 song in, I was blown away. I know they cover diffenent bands, but I would never label them a cover band. Very talented and very good. With most bands that do covers, there are "holes" in the songs. Not with these guys. The guys and gals in the band fill those holes. I never got to see Pink Flyod live but I know these guys were very very close. I will be there in Oct for Zep IV.

My son and I went to see this performance at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center in Montgomery, al, and were just completely blown away by the talent those performers have! If you closed your eyes you would have seen Pink Floyd standing there! They didn't miss a note or a lyric! I will definitely go back and see other performances they put on. You just don't know what your are missing if you don't go and the price was way too low for the entertainment! i only paid $20 per ticket and they could get considerably more for the talent they possess!

Very first time I listen to the band. All of them quite talented, flawless show; worth every single piece of it. Keep up the good work !!!! You can see there was a lot of work poured into covering Pink Floyd's " Dark Side of the Moon " note by note, which is not an easy task. It was a really nice event.

The show was good. The entry into the theatre was slow due to an inept staff and overwhelming crowd. They should have planned better for the event. The sets were good. The music was good for a cover and sound effects were very good. If the band had a better light show it would have been amazing but that also costs $$$. We are planning to go to their next show which is the Led Zeppelin IV revue.

The Black Jacket Symphony was simply awesome. Great talent, showmanship, technical lighting abounded. It was a sold out crowd and by the noise level we all had a blast.. Bouncing beach balls were in abundance pre-show and when the show started the beach balls stopped. The criticism I have is the narrators mic was set too low. We could not hear him. Led Zeppelin is my all time favorite band, I wasn't lucky enough to get to see them live. The Black Jacket Symphony performed Houses of the Holy at the Lexington Opera House Friday night, I am grateful to of gotten to see this performance!! Aaron, Allen, Bryan, Buck, J., Mark, and Peyton all rocked the house. It was performance wise all I could of asked for, the volume of the sound for me could of been much higher! I still like loud music if it's music I really like, some things never change!!! Hats off to the band, fantastic performance! Would of loved to of been on front row of the floor, front row of Level 3 was the best I could get once I found out this performance was happening! I have been on front row for a concert, no comparison, but happy to be there!!! How the people on front row of the floor stayed sitting is beyond me! I stood most of the concert.

Started of great. Just like the album...amazing. Then they bring out the black girl with the voice for gimme shelter and the place goes apeshit! Finish it off with a real choir for "you can't always get what you want" and put it over the top. I'd see them tonight if I could. We are going to their Zeppelin show for sure.
I personally know Dave Anderson, a very talented musician. But when you add others of his caliber....it makes for a great evening. If you like this kind of music I would highly recommened the Black Jacket Symphony.
This was BJS's encore of Abbey Road, the 1st album they recreated in Birmingham. It may have been the 2nd or 3rd best production they've done (Dark Side and Zep IV are in the top 3 also). The team was relaxed and enjoyed themselves so we enjoyed the concert! The music and vocals were spot-on with standout performance by J Willoughby on vocals and Allen Barlow on lead guitar. The 'album' (1st set) was executed almost flawlessly and the 'hits' (2nd set) were loose, energetic and raucously rocked! The Fab Four would have been impressed.
The concert was great. Was shocked when the concert ended to see an attendant physically shove a couple of patrons and begin to yell at them. Yes, I understand that the crowd was lively but these actions were a bit much! I have been to several concerts and events at this venue and NEVER seen this before.
The Pensacola Saenger Theater is beautiful. Yes, the seats are close together and make it hard to maneuver. The voices may not be the original, but the performances are very good in their own right and the music is wonderful. It was a great show especially if you are a fan of the Eagles. I love the Black Jacket Symphony and their performances.
This was first experience with the Black Jacket Symphony but it certainly will not be last. The vocals were incredible and the music was astonishing. The lights were perfect too. So many of the songs were actually better than the originals! I am a rock roll woman from WAY back and have seen almost every band imaginable. This was one of the very best concerts I have ever attended!! I truly enjoyed every aspect of their performance and I am looking forward to their next performance in October of the Journey album. One of my all time favorite groups is Little Feat so I hope they can look into their music and do something from that groups' many records.
One of the best Black Jacket Symphony series I ve ever attended! If you close your eyes at the concert, you would think you were listening to an Eagles CD! Fantastic ! Got my tickets for the upcoming concert for Journey . Hope they don t disappoint!
It was great. I saw them on Knoxville 3 wks before and had to see them again.

Unfortunately, the first half of the show was severely marred with very poor sound- vocals were completely drowned out and everything was more of a cacophony than executed song. Even the best know GNR songs were barely distinguishable. The crowd hung in though and sound mixing/ quality improved in the second half. The considerable talents of the lead guitarist and vocalists, etc. then became apparent. The audience responded with utter joy and longed for days gone by. I would love to hear this group when acoustics and mixing are up to the capabilities of the performers. I will try them again as I've heard their other performances in HSV were great.

The singers they bring in do a truly phenomenal job at recreating the voices. Big shout out to the GNR singer who hit those highs and those lows. I've seen BJS twice before at the Bijou, the Pink Floyd "Wish You Were Here" show and the Beatles "Revolver" show. Always excellent. Marc Martel as Freddie Mercury was spot on. Things I like about BJS (including the music, of course) ... 1. Well-produced shows. 2. Everyone dressed in black. 3. The projected videos. 4. They give out show programs. How many other acts do this? Zero. 5. Organized post-show meet-n-greet and photo op. How many other acts do this? Not many. I highly recommend BJS to my friends.

First things first. This was not a bad show but for what they charge it should have been better. The good stuff: The vocals were excellent. They sounded about as close as you can get to the Eagles. The performers on stage presence and presentation was very good. They had a female singing the high parts which sounded amazing. The signature guitar parts were within 95% of the originals. The arrangements were excellent and again within 95% of the originals. The light show was impressive for the most part, more on this later. The not so good stuff: The lights were great except when the programmed lights turn to the audience and blinded us with searing pain. This happened almost every song and did not contribute to the show and made it hard to watch. The sound mix was not good to start with, muddy and too much lower mid-range. This did improve during the night but you would think they would have done a decent sound check before they started. The toms on the drums sounded awful, more like cardboard boxes, unfortunately this did not change during the night. This was a major sore point for me since I play drums. The other was the fact that the song "Hotel California" has percussion in it and they did not even try to replicate the parts.

My wife and I attended the second night show in Chattanooga. The show started with the Hotel California album start to finish, then a break, then additional Eagles hits. We loved the show and the band. Instrumentals were fantastic. The lead singer who sang the Don Henley songs was as close to Henley as I think you could get without being Don himself. He was also very active and into it on stage. The Glen Frey songs' vocals were very good and the Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Scmidt vocals were also good, but not as good as on the Henley and Frey songs. The hits they played other than the Hotel California songs were an excellent cross-section from throughout the Eagles career and really got the Tivoli rockin'. My only complaint would be the sound mixing as there were times when particular instruments were too loud as compared to the other instruments and vocals. I specifically remember this happening with the Bass and Keyboards a few times. A great show. We will be back for more and already bought our tickets for Quenn's "A Night at the Opera" by BJS coming to the Tivoli in Feb 2017.

This was my first experience to see The Black Jacket Symphony. It won't be my last. This was such an amazing tribute to Prince. The performance was outstanding. The musicians were great, singers great and the venue was gorgeous. Everyone was on their feet singing and dancing. It was truly a celebration of Prince and his talent. I went with my best friend and we had a night to remember.

What a wonderful tribute to "The Purple One"! It was a fabulous show. Musicians are so talented, especially the lead guitarist! We had a wonderful time.

Excellent performance! Beautiful tribute and venue! Seats were just very uncomfortable for someone who is tall like me. A little too pricey for tickets but will definitely see again and again!

I laughed, I cried, I sang and I danced. It brought back so many good memories. Being able to experience this music live was unforgettable. Thank you so very much.
Enjoyed the show when I could hear the singer. The guitars were too overpowering in loudness and drowned out the lead singer. He also kept having trouble with his mic. It kept cutting off on him. Would ve been fantastic if the sound had been better.
The music was what we expected form Black Jacket Symphony. Great concert. The only thing to make it better was that the singer's microphone needed to be turned up. We could barely hear him.
What a show! The singer was great as was the rest of the band. Let's face it - if the singer isn't spot on then it won't be a good GnR show. He nailed it IMO! Brian was tearing up the guitar as usual and even laid-back Aaron was animated on bass. Blair did a wonderful job of backup vocals as well. If you're a GnR fan don't miss it. Also this is the FIRST show that we've seen without Mark as the drummer. The new drummer (can't remember his name either) did a great job.
We have been to Black Jacket event in the past that were fantastic. This particular show needed a sound engineer that could hear. What little I heard from the lead singer sounded just like Guns & Roses. But I was only able to hear a few words. The vocals were drowned out by the music. By the eighth song my wife and I left the show. It was that bad. When the band played Mr. Brownstone, I couldn't hear one word the artist was singing. The sound quality was the worst I have ever experienced. I truly hope they can get this fixed for future shows.
The talent of the musicians was overshadowed by a pathetic sound mix. The vocals and lead guitar were overwhelmed by over-driven, distorted bass, drums, and rhythm guitar.
The band sounded just like guns and roses, which was fine. I wish they had cleaned up the lyrics though. The lead singer and pianist kept leaving the stage during songs which was very strange. The crowd was disgusting and we ended up leaving early due to beer being sloshed around, a fat lady rubbing against me, and an old couple making out hardcore in front of us. I think these people forgot that they weren't actually at a Guns and Roses concert.
