Recommended for any fan who wants the feel of an early Beatles concert. The look, the sound and the wit was all there. Rolling Stone was right. Hope they return next year.

Attended this event with family and it was awesome. We were surrounded by fans of all ages and EVERYONE was having a great time, before, during and after the show. The show itself met and exceeded by expectations. The performers seemed to really enjoy entertaining and we all were taken back to 1964, singing along with every song. Loved it, and will attend next year.

I had seen this tribute show advertised for years (they have been doing it for 26 and do 140 shows a year). I think I usually thought that I was too much of a "cutting edge" type music fan and wasn't the type to listen to the local "Oldies channel" on the radio. I am 52, but I play guitar in a rock band that does more modern stuff like Weezer and Kings of Leon and when we do Classic Rock it's more Hendrix and SRV and I play banjo in a bluegrass song circle. I got a last minute invitation to go last year and did and had so much fun I knew I would be back again this year. I took my very fussy 12 year old daughter and one of her friends and my best friend and we all had a blast. One of the things that I notice is the multi-generational nature of the event from seven to seventy, if you will. This is one of the few concerts I have ever been to where I cannot suppress the urge to sing along and get off my butt and dance. It certainly doesn't hurt that it's at the very beautiful Red Rocks ampi-theater in Colorado, but most of the magic is in the music and execution. These guys look, act, sing and play like the Beatles complete with period correct attire and equipment. Their playing, singing and especially harmonizing is excellent (they emulate the studio Beatles more than live Beatles, luckily for us). Their stage banter, although often corny, is finely polished at this point but never sounds too "canned" or scripted. I would say it's pitch perfect, even mocking themselves, much as the original lads did. They performed +/- thirty songs. Most of these were early hit's "I Want to Hold Your Hand", "Hard Day's Night", "She's a Woman", "Help", "Act Naturally",etc... but they always throw in some lesser played hits like "Taxman". All band members sing and eventually all audience members. The ultimate decider was when my daughter and friend said as we left "I knew it was gonna be fun, but had no idea it would be THAT much fun". Once again after having seen hundreds of concerts I doubt I have ever had more fun at any concert than watching these guys.

Although while playing, they were most enjoyable, I felt I definitely did NOT get my money's worth. No opening act, short set(less than an hour with lots of talking), then a long break and another short set. No videos, which would have enhanced the very bland stage that had nothing except the band. I would not go to see this show again.

Since the performers were different than before, I belive this affected the quality. Still proffessional but this is my 3rd time to see The Tribute and this was not their best. Still, if you like the Beatles, this is the band to see. The sound quality was well done. The show is more for the older crowd but the kids seemed to enjoy it also. The concert was on Aug 21, 2010 at Red Rocks in Colorado.

The best Beatle's tribute band ever. We've seen them 4 times now and would go see them again. Highly recommended for kids of all ages. Props to the sound guys for this group of very talented musicians. Loved the dialogue and humor between songs. Light hearted, fun and truley intertaining.

To be honest, I didn't go into the event with high expectations, but I definitely will next year. Each and every member was incredibly skilled with their parts and the like and the man who took the part of Paul was pretty much amazing. I'd recommend this tribute to any Beatles fan in a heartbeat!

We saw 1964 nearly 20 years ago and were just blown away. They sound and act just like the original Beatles. Our daughter is now a huge Beatles fan and we wanted her to experience this show. We all LOVED it. They are amazing musicians and they really engage the crowd. We will definitely see them again in the future.

Really good singing, one of the best I have seen. The players were a really a Mixed bag. The John Lennon had a really bad hair style, the George Harrison was great but appeared to be 80 years old and not much personality, I thought the Paul McCartney was fantastic both singing and performing he was a lot younger than all the others. Over all good Show not worth. $75 plus, but more like $30-$35 per ticket

While the musicians were clearly talented and the John, Ringo and Paul players did a good immitation of their characters, the George player wasn't as convincing, many of the songs were played at a faster tempo than expected, AND THEY ONLY PLAYED FOR AN HOUR AND FIFTY MINUTES! Certainly not a good value for $53 a seat, plus $20 for parking and $7 drinks.

1964 a Tribute, truly is the best Beatles cover band out there today. My bride of 41 years saw the Beatles twice in Chicago and 1964 is the only cover band that gave her the shivers. Mark's voice is so like John's and Todd's Paul mannerisms are spot on.

Being a fan of early Beatles music, this was a real treat because that's exactly what they played for the whole show. If you're hoping to hear different eras of Beatles music, this show may not be for you. These guys really are great at what they do and I did enjoy the show. HOWEVER, I saw the other Beatles Tribute called RAIN and enjoyed it much more. It covered different eras plus had videos playing in the background. Loved it so much I saw it twice. If I hadn't already seen Rain I may have thought 1964 was really great, but it lacked the wow factor that Rain had so I have to say I was just a tad disappointed.

Wow, I couldn't believe how great these guys sounded !! Seconds into their first song, I was like, WOW !! I completely enjoyed every minute of this show, and highly recommend it !! I have seen Rain & Fab Four; I believe these guys had a slight edge !! I was joking about these guys sounding better than the Beatles ........ but don't think that can actually happen !! Or could it ?!! If their was a way of making this a better show, I would say, singing a "newer" Beatles song, ie, after Sgt Pepper.

For almost two hours, the 1964 band actually were John, Paul, George, and Ringo with perfect harmony, replica instruments, mannerisms, accents, and their own amazing voices as the Beatles. I must admit I was not a huge fan of the real Beatles, but for some strange reason I became one after I saw 1964 The Tribute. I saw them in Fort Worth Texas and was so impressed that I traveled to San Antonio Texas to see them again. No doubt that these four guys look and sound just like the beatles. But it baffles me why they didn't play a lot of well known favorites. They did play SOME well-known songs, but there were many that were not (I could tell they were not because most folks around me didn't know the words). How can you have a Beatles show without playing favorites like "Hey Jude", "Yesterday", "Let it Be" or "All You Need is Love". I know you can't get them all in 1 hour in 45 minutes, but they sure did seem to miss a lot of the well known songs.

Very authentic. Everything seemed correct down to their shoes. If you closed your eyes, you could have been at a Beatles concert. The only slight disappointment was the setlist was limited to pre-Sgt. Pepper. But I guess there's no way to do their whole career justice in a two hour show. Highly recommend this one.

The seats were great for the price. MEZ LFT, row BB. The performance was spot on with what I've seen on recorded Beatles videos. The movements of the band mimiced the real thing to a tee. I would have rated 5 stars except I feel the sound could have been improved. Muffled vocals, but could make out the instruments good. Overall the show met and exceeded my expectations. I was very disappointed in this show. The first song was spot on to the Beatles, but after that the music was so loud that not only could you feel your eardrums vibrating, but it also drowned them out. I didn' t find their comedy funny (maybe I just don't understand English humor). Though, I know I wasn't the only one, since someone yelled from the back that "George" had already said the same thng several times in the same skit. Never, in all the shows I have attended did I leave early---until now.

We went to the San Antonio, Majestic Theater show. We went expecting a great Beatles Tribute. What we got was much better, much more... The musicianship was Awesome! Not just the authentic sound was incredible, but we also got a realistic 1964 Beatles Concert! Each member stayed in character thoughout, capturing the person each stance & little movement to transfer you back in time. The music, the fun interactions with the crowd, the charismatic Beatles charm, it was ALL there... I have seen dozens of Beatles tributes, to include Liverpool Legends, these lads are at the "top Johnny, the top!"...

These guys nailed it very well. They were entertaining, funny, and very good performers. Overall one can expect to have a very good time at one of their shows. This was the first time I've seen them, and was worried about expecting too much. As I stated in the review title, the performance was much better than expected. I very much liked the fact that they stuck true to the original studio recordings and didn't add, or take away anything. I couldn't imagine a Beatles show being any better. If you like early Beatles, this is for you. Some people started running out during their announced last song for the night. I noticed the house lights didn't come on afterwards, and they quickly came back out to perform an encore that included 4 more songs ! So don't be quick to run out after the two 45 minute sets or you'll miss the encore ! Attendance wise, it was nice to see a wide age group.
