Fun songs. melodious voices. I wonder why they did a medley with shortened versions of more popular songs ("Like Knowing Me, Knowing You") and then played the whole version of a lot of less memorable songs in the second half. Spirited costumes.

My kids and I were really looking forward to this, but unfortunately it was not good at all. Lifeless performance. Bad wigs, cheesey costumes, so-so singing, lifeless performance. I felt like I was watching a bad episode of "The Partridge Family". Actually, I think I would have rather been watching The Partridge Family - I would have been more entertained. Don't waste your money.

It has been a long time since I have been to the Hollywood Bowl. The last time I was there, I was in middle school and attending a school concert. The OC Gay Mens Choir performed a few numbers first and then the ABBA cover band performed after the intermission. The cover band was great. It was my first time hearing them performed and I was impressed. I know a few ABBA songs and I loved their rendition. While I do recommend sitting in "W" section, be prepared to sit on wooden benches for 2-3 hours. Another tip for first time attendees, bring a picnic to your seats because food is expensive at the Bowl as well as parking. Parking is limited to several parking structures, but I highly recommend buying a Bowl Shuttle bus pass. I took an uber to the Bowl and while it went off without a hitch, by the time I got out, traffic was a nightmare and I had to take the Metro red line to Union Station and transfer to a bus to get home.

The concert was really good. They sound remarkably like the original ABBA. I guess the only downside would be they sang some songs the crowd was unfamiliar with when the was no need because ABBA has a big enough music catalog to fill a concert. The warmup, Orange County Gay Men Choir was not very good. I would rate them as ordinary at best. And too long of a set.

This is definitely a great experience, the next best thing of actually seeing the real ABBA! This was my 2nd time seeing ABBA: The Concert, the first the summer of 2013. Everyone there was singing along to the ABBA songs we all grew up with and love. The band looks and sounds just like the real ABBA in the 1970's complete with a wardrobe from that time as well. If I closed my eyes, I seriously would have a difficult time knowing which is the real ABBA if I was played both, they're that good! Also there were cool and colorful graphics displayed around the ring of the Hollywood Bowl that changed showing pictures of ABBA, their album covers and there was a great light show as well. My only criticism is I would have liked to have heard more of their hits instead of some of the lesser known songs performed. One of the musicians in the band was introduced as one of the original musicians who played on the original ABBA recordings in the 1970's. I highly recommend the concert, you'll have a great time spending the night with the music of ABBA!

ABBA tribute band was actually from Sweden -- very authentic. Costumes were well researched and exactly the same as the real ABBA from 1979. Choreography was perfect, every song, every note, they were all well rehearsed. Whomever put this band together did an excellent job of casting -- look alikes, and talent would have been very difficult to find -- and yet, they did find them! The music was perfect. All the notes, all the songs, just as if the real ABBA were all still together and performing.

I thought this show was in trouble when I saw all the sedate grey hairs in the audience, but this cover band had them up and dancing and singing along in no time! I think they were ending their tour in Mpls Sat night, but if they tour again I recommend them. The harmonies and costumes were spot on and the musicianship was at a high level.

We purchased these tickets back in June of 2010 and as the date approached we waited for the time to get away and have a good time. We were not disappointed. Having front row seats I was a bit worried, speakers and all but the band was awesome. I wonderful show and a wonderful evening.

I went to this show not really knowing what to expect. I never got a chance to see ABBA as they broke up before I was able to catch a live show. ABBA the concert does a great job of recreating the concert footage I have seen on video. The band was spot on musically and with the girls choreography. The girls went through four costume changes and as always looking beautiful. I hope they return to my hometown again soon. I would definitely like to see them again.

While the show as good and the singers voices were fine. It was not like the original group. It was extremely loud and the music drowned out the singers. ABBRACADABRA is a better tribute group.

A surprise for my wife. She was very dubious at first. We had seen Arrival from Sweden and were very disappointed. I also was a bit concerned as the first 2 songs were over amped / over modulated and garbled. Almost impossible to understand any of the lyrics. It got better, much better after that. The rest of the show was fantastic. A great evening! We'd go again and probably will.

The ABBA performers were in good voice all night long, not only did they help me re-live my fond memories with a near perfect performance, they hosted and entertained with humor and appreciation for both ABBA and the audience. There was a lot of dancing in the isles, costumes were great and I liked the how they invited the audience back stage during the intermission via their website.Thanks for a great time!

We really enjoyed the ABBA songs; haved loved them for years. But the music was extreemly loud, sometimes so loud you could hardly understand the lyrics. And the air-conditioning was so cold that those all around us were complaining. So, for the songs, yes, we would recommend it, for the sound & comfort of the hall, no. By the way, they did give a wonderful performance, with two 50 minute sessions (20 min. break)

The only reason I gave the show 2 stars instead of 1 is because the music of ABBA is so fun it *almost* doesn't matter who is performing. This show needs some serious help. The performers lacked so much passion and stage presence that they almost looked bored. The choreography was amateur and robotic at best. The girls have nice voices, but they sang with absolutely no emotion whatsoever. And PLEASE, do something about that Blue costume the blonde was wearing during the first wardrobe change. Satin is extremely unflattering under stage lighting. To top it off, they actually took an intermission - these people didn't even break a sweat! Unreal. One of the worst shows I've seen since Meatloaf decided to go on tour 2 years ago. If they don't improve this show with more energy, stage presence and choreography, they have some nerve to keep charging people.

We learned a great lesson, read the fine print! My husband thought it was the original band & I was under the impression it was a musical. When they took the stage, we immediately burst out laughing at the terrible "costumes" and the bad wigs. As they began to sing, we could not help but wonder how can these people charge what they do?? We mean no disrespect but this "concert" was more like a high school production.

The group calling itself "ABBA: the Concert" features two young women vocalists who are as weak as dishwater: no poise, no presence, no talent. The men & backup group are likewise poor. Even the backup singers were better! The sound in the Uptown was even worse: just a wall of unmitigated, undifferenciated noise, waaay too loud and waaay too intense. ABBA was known for its fine orchestrations, delightful to the ear. This group and the Uptown sound engineer need their ears cleaned, loud does not equal engagement, loud does not equal enjoyment, loud destroys delight, loud destroys charm and receptivity. The evening was such a waste of time, we left after the intermission.

The sound man had the mix all wrong for the first two song as the lovely vocals were drowned out by the band volume. By the fourth song the mix was right and the rest of the night was wonderful. I would have to say that all of the vocalist were top rate.

This was a blast. Me and my group of friends were the youngest by far, but we absolutely loved it. The band had great energy, I loved their costumes and how they genuinely tried to make it feel like you received the original experience. Plus they would give us a few facts about ABBA throughout the show. The last few songs of the first act, and then most of the second act was all of their best dancing songs to get the crowd up and on their feet. I absolutely loved it and will be back next time ABBA the Concert is in town.

I don't think I'd pay to see a tribute act for artists that are still performing, but ABBA isn't. They COULD - Benny & Bjorn are still active on the music scene, but Frida & Agnetha are enjoying their retirements too much and, figuring that they've got more $ from the glory days than they could ever spend, NO amount of money will lure them back. So all we've got are the old records....AND TRIBUTE ACTS. There are at least a few out there, but I was familiar with ABBA THE CONCERT from a full-length concert set on YouTube, and they ROCK!! The women (SORRY I don't know their names) LOOK like The Real Deal and, better still, match up WELL with Frida & Agnetha's WONDERFUL voices. The act could have gone a wee bit further with the costumes - not nearly as OUTRAGEOUS as ABBA back in the day, which was a BIG part of the fun. But that's a TINY quibble. ABBA THE CONCERT had us on our feet and DANCING IN THE AISLES. Until Frida & Agnetha find themselves unbearably BORED, this'll do!!

ABBA The Concert has great musicians and the two lead female singers have amazing voices. They performed for almost 2 hours straight and sang all of ABBA's biggest hits. We really enjoyed the show and we think anyone who likes ABBA would not be disappointed in the concert. The venue could have had a better sound system, though.

Tickets bought for girlfriend's birthday. Didn't really think much of ABBA, but hey, I wanted to make her happy. We're in our 40s, and we were probably the youngest couple there who weren't also there with parents. I joked alot about #FakeABBA, the crowd, etc.,... ...and then they started. Wow. No Words. If you get the chance to see this show, do it. Revel in it. Allow it to overtake you.

If you're an ABBA fan, you'll love this show. My wife is the big fan, but even I enjoyed this show. Who doesn't like Dancing Queen? We had a great time. More importantly, my wife had a great time, which makes my life much better. :)

Shame on me!! Not paying attention, I thought I was going to see the original ABBA band, only to find out it was a tribute band. I was a bit upset at first, then they came out and performed. WOW! WOW! They were fantastic !!!!!!! I don't think the real band could have done as good and as a matter of fact, if given the choice between the real band and this band, I would, without question, go see these people again !! Those two girls were unbelievably a perfect match for the original two ! What beautiful voices ! You owe it to yourself to see this group, I'll be there !!!!!!!

The Concert was very good...but the venue seating was very uncomfortable. Hard, folding chairs and not on risers to help with viewing. Also, the background music accompanying the performers was overpowering the vocals. Again, the performers were very good and really enjoyed the costume changes. Sorry to say, I would not attend another concert there because of the seating. We really enjoyed the hotel...Hyatt Place was very nice.

This show was amazing! I wasn't much of an Abba fan walking in but after this show I felt as though I watched them preform. It was great! Really such a one of a kind experience, and they really made me feel as though I was watching Abba. I would recommend going to see them if you are thinking about it!

It was an amazing concert. The songs that they did were awesome, and they did quite a few dips into ABBA's amazing vault of lesser-known songs. ("Santa Rosa" was actually a very pleasant surprise!) But there were three songs that were BIG hits that were NOT performed: "S.O.S.," "Super Trouper," and "The Name Of The Game." I would have preferred to hear those as opposed to so many lesser-known songs. The ladies looked exactly like Agnetha and Frida, but the boys didn't resemble Benny and Bjorn that much (in fact, "Bjorn" looked like Benny, and "Benny" looked like Bjorn!). In terms of ABBA cover groups, The Visitors were probably one of the best, but Bjorn Again is better.

Fantastic performance. The crowd loved them. This is the closest you'll ever get to the live ABBA experience. The seat cushions are a steal at $1.00 each, so comfortable, but there's not much sitting at an ABBA concert. Taking the shuttle made the evening effortless. The bowl employees are pros at getting you where you need to be.

Both ABBA and the Orange County Gay Men's Chorus were outstanding with memorable performances. I really had to look and check twice to make sure they weren't the real ABBA! I really got excited seeing the fantastic turnout that night - people who were as happy about being there as I was. What a joy! It just doesn't get any better.

We saw ABBA two years ago at the same location and it was awesome, fun and lots of energy. This past weekend, the show was just mediocre and uninspiring. People didn't feel like dancing except for during the one or two danceable songs they played. The Gay Men's Chorus that opened up was just terrible! Last time I went, they had an ABBA accapella competition that opened up and they were so fun and awesome. This chorus was downright awful for the first half of their show, but admittedly did get a little better during the show.

All four of us attending loved the show. It felt like the real ABBA were on stage. We will definitely go see this group again when they come back to Vegas.

I was expecting ABBA from Sweden. I got ABBA look alikes from Swedan. They were OK, but not great. I may have went if i was told, but I would not recommend unless this was disclosed.

This band sounds just like the original and the two female leads are also identical having beautiful voices that fit to perfection. One of the best concerts I have heard, live, in my life.

This was a great show! The singing was excellent and they really sounded like ABBA. Since I will never get to see the real thing without a time machine, this was the next best thing! We had a blast!!!
