Lupe Fiasco

I am most definitely biased, but I have never had the opportunity to see Lupe Fiasco in concert before. He did not disappoint. Super high energy, we got new songs and old songs, he cracked us up and hyped us up. I didn't think it was possible to be more of a fan of his, but I am after this concert! House of Blues was awesome too, very intimate feel.

Lupe was on fire. We rocked out to classics AND new fire!!

He played all of his big hit songs and a lot of his older stuff. He also does a great job interacting with the audience. He sounds just like he does on CD! Amazing.

Lupe represented the Chi to the fullest. Great set - mixing in the old, with a tease of the new. Lady Deathstrike or whatever the opening act was was forgettable and lacked goodness of fit for this show.

I loved it! He has such stage presence. He had the crowd going with so much energy. It really shows that he enjoys performing. Loved it!

Lupe was great! He's an amazing performer live--so much charisma! We got the tickets almost last minute and ticketmaster was able to find the best available seats for a decent price! overall we had a great experience and will definitely be using ticketmaster in the future!

This was the best concert i have ever been too. I was at the glow in the dark tour and it was nothiing compared to this show. I was also there 2 weeks before at the kanye concert. This has by far been the best concert i have been too.

Lupe is unbelievable in concert. I absolutely love his music and he just made it all better with his amazing performance. He played new songs and old classics that just had the entire crowd go crazy. During his encore perfomance he did a freestyle that was easy to tell it was really just coming off the top of his head and it was beyond good! I love how so many people were there and how much they love his music. I went with my girlfirend and we got there about 4 hours before doors opened and we got the suprise of a lifetime because Lupe came and went to everyone 1 by 1 and shook hands and took pictures. There were about 25 people there waiting on line at that time. The Fillmore is a great place for a concert because its a small stage and capacity is small for an audience which makes it intamate and makes anyone feel close no matter where you stand. I was fortunate enough to be in the second row but I looked around and I wouldn't be upset if I was towards the back. The opening was by an up and coming rapper named Dosage and then followed by B.O.B. They both provided a really good and energetic performance. The entire night was very entertaining and well worth the wait. Lupe is simply amazing!!!!

The concert was full of energy start to finish something that is rare but when Lupe Fiasco hit the stage he came with energy that was equal to every show I have been to hisconcerts should range in price from 100-100+ but its always good pricing and you get way more than you pay for We are Not Losers We are LASERS

This was my first ever concert and now all I want to do is go to concerts. It was awesome time. Lupe is the man and a great preformer

the concert was amazing! when i got my tickets and i was kinda far from the stage i got discouraged but then everyone was allowed to go to the front by the stage and just stand there.... which i loved cuz i was able to stand so close to lupe =)

I definitely loved that a few of his songs were a surprise and last minute, he chose what to sing. The night was unforgettable, his voice, his lyrics, his energy is amazing! He rocks out on stage. He's real, and 100% down to earth.

I'll admit, I haven't been to too many concerts. This was probably my 4th concert, but it was an AMAZING concert. The other 3 concerts I've been to pale in comparison to Lupe's show. His energy, lyrics, beats, and overall mood of the concert was exhilarating and unforgettable. He kept it fresh by rapping to different beats and spitting some freestyles as well. Go see Lupe Live, he is SO much better Live.

There are no words to explain his shows. No "words" give it justice. He brings A TON of energy to the stage every single show and every single time I am left feeling the same way. beyond amazed. Lupe really puts on the greatest shows! I've been to 13... wonder why! If you haven't been to a show I highly suggest the next time he's in your town go. Go even if he's not in your town! He will never disappoint you. Lastly, he usually makes you wait a long time before you see him but when he does come out... he makes it WAY worth the wait :) I just saw him last night and I'm still dazed. again.. no words can explain.

I don't even care that my feet were hurting from all the standing. He makes sure he covered every part of the stage. A great showman & performer! I been waiting for him to perform in NYC for a while. I ran to get first row! Definitely worth it!!!!!

If the Beach at Govenor's Island wasn't an awesome venue in and of itself, seeing Lupe Fiasco perform there made it amazing. Warmed up with 88-Keys as the single opening act, Lupe burst out with his hit "Instrumental" as a powerful opening to his set. Having gone mostly for the venue, I was completely taken in by the music. Excellent concert. Amazing venue. If you have the chance to either see Lupe or get to the Beach at Governor's Island: Do it!

Never have I ever before felt like I was in the presence of a superstar, and I've seen plenty of Grammy award winning artists in concert. Lupe is a class act, he was a great showman, and he played an awesome setlist (the new song was unbelievable). I cannot wait to see him again - hopefully another hometown show in Chicago. Following his performance from the Glow in the Dark Tour, Lupe Fiasco has always kept it real with his fans. From beginning to end, his performance was spot on. Performing his first single off his album, Shining Down, was unbelievable, definitely one of those "had to be there" moments. Would buy tickets to him in concert again in a heart beat.

Best hip hop/rap show I have ever been to. He put on a great show. Pulled an audience member to dance. Good times.

First time seeing him since The Cool tour and it was as good or even better. He puts on such a great show. Can't wait to see him back in Philly. Will definitely be there.

Got there an hour after the doors opened, and still made my way up to the very front. His energy was relentless, which caused my arms to constantly swing in the air. His views and open mind are ones to live by.

High energy, it was just amazing. I can't wait to go to the next show.

The new venue Aura was beautiful and intimate. Lupe was in a class of his own with old and new releases, and interacted with the crowd a lot. All in all a fun night!

Always been a fan of Lupe, and I finally saw him in concert for the first time! It was a great show!

I missed his last tour. Was seriously looking forward to the show only to sit through 2 mediocre openers, then listened to Mr. Fiasco rant. Then we were told to stand in silence while he has a "prayer circle" with some of his fans. I understand he had a negative experience and a bad day, but he let his personal life negatively impact his performance. I've always enjoyed his music. I believe he has a strong message and have often wanted to pick his brain. I look forward to future projects, and hope this was an isolated incident.

If I had to use one word to describe this show was disappointment. Been a fan for almost ten years and thought I was going to see a great show but instead I was treated to a bizarre rant and half a set list.

When he finally played, his flows were spot on. However, he made the entire audience uncomfortable for 30 to 45 minutes. Lots of people left within the first 5 minutes. He ranted angrily, but didnt quite specify what he was ranting about....Than, he pulleds a few dozen random people on stage, forced them to huddle up, and was silent to the crow for atleast 30 minutes. This occured only after performing 15 minutes. Than he finally came back and rapped for like 20 more minutes. Amazing studio artist, but weird and awkward performance. He went from being my favorite witty lyricist, to lamest, dissapointed and awkward performer

4 songs and rant, 20 mins or so, of dead silence. I like Lupe, but I was on a schedule, had to leave early to catch the bus, saw 6 songs total, could do better. Has done better, saw him on the Lasers tour, it was amazing. Also banned photography during his set.

Amazing show he rock it! This was a real hip hop show. No rants or politics. Just about the music. I loved it. Went with my nephew and friends and we had a great time. The show was very diverse. The crowd had all races, colors and age groups. Lupe is a true American hero and on his way to being a legend. He is underrated and a genius in his own lane.

I've seen Lupe in the past, and at this particular venue. The last time, he had an actual set, projections, lighting etc. This time, there was just the DJ (who was good). He came on stage and did 3-4 songs before addressing the crowd. It wasn't until nearly the end of the show before he looked directly at the crowd. He spent much of his time looking at the floor. I had a sense that maybe something happened before the show. He's a human being and things happen and yet, you still have to come out and perform and entertain. It must be hard. His songs were his songs- always on point and his delivery was on point. The highlight for us was seeing The Boy Illinois as his opener - 2nd opener, closest to Lupe's performance. Very happy to see him move up the chain. He was on point.

I loved the show it was one of the best shows ever. I can't wait for him to do another show. I would go and see him a thousand times if I could. He really puts his heart in all his performances. I really can't wait to see him perform again soon. The boy Illinos, billy blue, and z-verse were amazing. I can not wait until the next show they have together.

This my second time seeing Lupe. This show was great. The opening acts were very good and Lupe was amazing. He interacted so well with us it kinda felt like a family member coming back and keeping us posted all the while mentoring us and making us laugh and have fun. I really had fun. Definitely would see him anytime he's near. He has all my support in whatever he does after retiring from rap.

Seriously prolific writer... I wasn't a fan who could participate because I didn't know lyrics. I listened and danced but couldn't spit... I can't believe what a cult following he had! Hot show because everyone participated!! He was graceful, real and damn great musician!! He knows his fans and they know him... makes me want to learn the words for the next show... which ain't easy cuz he ain't singin nothing simple!!! Stellar.

The show was amazing he came out on time and played all his songs from tetsuo & youth plus played a min of his old music too. It was good he Interacted with the audience and signed a poster while singing on stage. Lupe's a great performer I can't wait to see him again.

The venue was very fancy. I dug that. Openers were eh, started getting impatient after the first hour of waiting for Fiasco to come out, but once he did, I was immediately awake and excited. Great set, great energy. I wish he could've been on longer (1:20 compared to the 2 hours the opening acts and prep got). Still, I had a great night and would do it again. O! Nearly forgot. I was sad he didn't perform "State Run Radio," but everything else was great.

Lupe Fiasco put on an entertaining, high-energy show. He performed numerous songs, both old and new. Lupe had excellent interaction with the crowd.

Lupe Fiasco has amazing energy and definitely knows how to put on a great show. Overall, the crowd was good and the venue is nice. Would love to attend another Lupe concert in the future.

This was the second Lupe concert I've ever been to and won't be my last! I just saw him on 9/25 in St. Augustine (center stage in the pit) and plan on going to see him perform again in Orlando on 10/22! He is HANDS DOWN the best live performer I have ever had the chance to see in person. The energy that he gives to the crowd creates an out-of-body experience that makes you gain a new appreciation for every song that he performs. The energy NEVER tapered off from the opening set - the buzz remained high and he kept moving smoothly into the next song on the set list. I plan on attending every show he puts on in Florida from here on out! And I just bought the deluxe album of L.A.S.E.R.S. (AGAIN) after the show. Gotta support an artist that gives you more than your money's worth!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I've seen Lupe 5 times now, and he gets better with each performance. His energy is outstanding & his passion is genuine. He is a consummate performer with relentless energy! Worth EVERY dollar EVERY time!

The show was incredible! I went at the last minute when I looked at prices. This was also the first time I've been to this venue and I like it better than Walnut Creek's, even though the capacity is larger. I think the Die-Hard Lupe fans, like myself, were hoping for more love from "Food & Liquor" and "The Cool" in the set.

The energy Lupe gave off that night was truly amazing. To me, it is an unforgettable night and by far the BEST experience of my life! Lasers!!!

Lupe Fiasco is not only a talented artist, but an amazing performer as well. He puts his heart and soul on that stage and gives his fans an experience they will never forget. By far the best concert I have been to and he has outdone himself compared to other artists I have seen including Drake. This concert will be hard to beat and I have even more love and respect for Lupe now. He is electric on stage and you are pumped and dancing throughout the night. He is a must see and I hope to see him again.

Great concert, first time I've seen Lupe live. I like all of his songs, but the songs from his first two albums were the best. His final song was Daydreamin, and that was the majority of the crowd's favorite from what I could tell. Good sound in such a large auditorium, and the Hill Theater was pretty amazing.

I was able to watch him for free at two venues. I saw at UCI and USC and it was one of the best performances I have ever seen. The dude puts on some sick shows. I would have paid for it he was so good

Concert was amazing. I went to his last show back in 2008 right after his release of his second album The Cool. This time though it was alot better mainly because he had newer songs out. If you haven't seen Lupe Fiasco live, you're missing hip hop.

Loved the concert, i was super close to the stage. they only thing about the standing only is that if theres a lot of people you will get crammed and barely have room to move. But overall it was awesome, and it was worth every single penny. :)

This was an amazing show. B.O.B was a great opening act, he hyped up the crowd. This was my fourth time seeing Lupe and this time i got to be front row. It was such an unforgettable concert. Lupe rapped a whole verse to me 8]

Dosage is now a name I can recognize. His lyrics were clear and the flow was on point. With motivational messages and and crowd involvment. He really made out to be a adequate opening act. As we know , many opneing acts are very sub-par. B.O.B. - did not need the live band in the backround. He is a one man band. Exciting and full of energy and emotion this next superstar is completly and utterly incredible. With his catologue not fully known as some of the veterans in the game he still rocked. When he matures and becomes more recognized and the fans become more familiar with his songs, b.o.b. will be selling out arenas. easily. Lupe is f'ing fantastic. A phenominal showman. The flow was nigara falls. Crowd involvment was off the chain you litearlly feel part of the show. Although his songs are getting old the classics held it down. Lupe has the ability to make them feel brand new with small changes and band invovment. Still thinkin about this show today. Greatful I did not miss a moment.

B.O.B and Lupe brought it HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD. The show started promptly (props on that) and the opening act, Dosage got it off good. After him, B.O.B came out and pretty much SOLD his album to me. If you weren't a fan of him before, you WILL be after watching him in concert. The man is genuine and talented with a gorgeous smile. THE HEADLINER, Lupe was CLEARLY getting "his ENERGY from his INNER G" and fed off the SOLD OUT crowd's energy as well. Song after song, he gave his FULL strength and bore his soul. I am not from Houston (drove from Austin) but I like that he had Houston Locals there that were obviously fan favorites. I only recognized BunB. He was comedic, REAL, and gave us a show worth the price AND THEN SOME. <3 I was very, very, very amazed by the sites and sounds. This has been my number one concert experience.

I have been interested in going to the house of blues in Houston since it was built. And I m so happy that my first visit was for this concert. B.O.B. is quite possibly the future of music and he put on a magnificent show. Lupe had the crowded eating out of his hands with his great ability of creating emotional performance. And not to mention the two warm up artist. Lil Marcus a 10-12 year old kid that moved a crowd full of adults LOL. Also Third Dimension was pretty good also. He seems to be learning some stage presence from Lupe.

Lupe and B.o.B. provide an unforgettable show that I wouldn't miss for the world! They make a great team and I hope they continue to tour together! They both utilize multiple music styles to make an original show that is worth seeing for anyone! Both are the ultimate entertainers capable of getting the audience involved and keeping the audience exited for what is coming next! I didn't want it to end!!!! It would have been even more amazing to see them perform a song or two together. They ROCK!

Love this venue and Lupe Fiasco blew it up! Performed Tetsuo and Youth from start to end. Would highly recommend to any hip hop heads.

I was so excited to know that Lupe Fiasco was coming out to the Inland Empire especially a local Cal State (Cal State San Bernardino). His opening act was DJ Walle was a local Rialto DJ who won a contest to open for him. The concert started at 8:00pm he played for 45mins straight don't get me wrong he was great he had a good set of music going and did a great job Lupe though didn't get on stage till 8:45pm we didn't mind though me personally I really enjoy his music especially the cool hands down my favorite one. He got on stage and had a amazing show he showed that you don't need a lot of props or anything like that to do a great show. He even started playing my personal favs (Superstar, The Show goes on, kick push etc). THEN he played the show goes on n says thanks everybody have a goodnight & looked IT WAS 9:40 PM!!! I thought he was kidding at first because he didn't play his new stuff words I never said or any of his older songs & yeah sure enough it was over by 9:40pm so he played for less than a hour wow I couldn't believe it I was not a happy camper me being a avid concert going & have been to over 9+ concerts this was the shortest concert I ever went to and I was disappointed on how short it was Lupe sorry to say this time I was disappointed :( but I will still be a avid fan n hopefully next time the concert will be over an hour long

It was a great concert! Lupe is by far my favorite male lyricist/artist. He speaks the truth! I was disappointed that the venue wasn't full, it was a bit empty, but then again people nowadays love fake, garbage musicians so....it is what it is. The only downfall of the night was that the opening acts went on for too long: doors opened at 6:30pm, Lupe didn't come out until after 9:30pm

This was an awesome show to go to with a lot of great performers! The openers were great too! My favorite openers were Dee 1 and Dosage; they did a spectacular job and showed that not all rap songs have to be about drugs and hoes. But Lupe was amazing! He stopped the show a couple times to talk to the crowd and told us a couple good stories, which I really enjoyed as well!

Lupe left me speechless. He dedicated a song to me which made my night.

Lupe Fiasco show in Philly was definitley the best show Ive been to! Lupe wasnt late, came on right after his openers, which is awesome because nobody likes a diva when going to a concert! He played a long set, talked to the crowd, even told 2 guys in the crowd who were yelling at eachother to chill out and brough them up to the front, thats awesome. Lupe was just overall cool as hell, definitley worth what i paid and wouldnt hesitate to see him again! The venue was the trocadero in philly, i have to admit Ive never heard of it before but would absolutely go back! The staff were super nice, making jokes and being very friendly. The venue was pretty, with an old theater sort of feel but no seats which is always the best! Overall, I had a great time! Would reccommend to anyone who likes a good experience!

This is the second time I've been fortunate enough to see Lupe perform. The first time he had a full band playing with him. I didn't notice a band set up on stage this time so I was a little hesitant that the show wouldn't have the same effect. I was wrong. Lupe is incredible. He creates an amazing story for each song he performs. We were all lucky to see him in such an intimate setting. There was so much interaction with the audience. He handed the mic to a fan during Kick, Push and let the fan rap the entire verse. Plus he would share stories about the songs and it really felt like you were listening to an old friend tell you about their life since the last time you saw them. Great mix of old songs, newer songs and then a few off the upcoming album. He is GREAT!

Lupe was amazing, and they managed to do a great job keeping the crowd up through all of the warm-up acts. Stalley was also fantastic, and the turn around on the acts was great.

We had a good time. Lupe was not particularly personal, he didn't really interact with the crowd at all. but a good show overall.

Quick review! Venue kinda small but overall alright for shows... Sound system not great but better then most HOB venues n other small venues... Lupe brought energy n great onstage presence... Had the crowd into it n singing along with him the entire time... Just a lil under a 2hr set n worth every dollar spent... GO WATCH HIM!

This was a very average show form Lupe!! The opening acts were garbage, Boy Illinois??? Really. Lupe also did not bring a live band, which was a let down.

It was a great show from beginning to end. Lupe really did a great job engaging the crowd and his performance was better than I expected.

It was a pleasure to see hip hop not rap explode across the stage. For one man to exude that much energy on the stage alone was very impressive. He channeled the performance of a L. A. Sunshine of the Treacherous 3 in his prime. Great show, great talent, great night!

It was an amazing show as always. This is my third time seeing Lupe perform and he always bring such ecstatic energy, which serves as a catalyst to the crowd he performs for. I am always going to his concerts whenever he is in town or I am near a place he is performing. Lupe always puts on a great show. period!

The show wasawesome. The opening act was great. The fact they could freestyle was totally mind blowing. There are not many rappers who can do such. Then Lupe took the stage. The energy was high and he offered nothing less than stellar!!!! My brother and I were emotionally high from the evening.

Lupe rapped almost all of his songs from Food and Liquor 2. He stuck to his new album aside from his opening song which was from his Friend of the People mixtape. Lupe's stage presence was great and he engaged the crowd. Every couple of songs he would stop to talk to the crowd and talk about his songs and their background. At the end of this show, he took requests for songs that we wanted to hear. It was very cool. This wasn't the first time I saw Lupe and he was great again. I recommend everyone see one of his shows.
