The Raffi concert on May 22nd at the Town Hall in NYC was truly memorable. Along with our grandson, my son and his wife, we enjoyed every morsel of Raffi's performance. We have been singing his praises along with his songs since that day. His genuine warmth and caring for the children of the world was evident during the concert and after during his VIP meet and greet. I will remember the look in our grandson's eyes as Raffi and he exchanged smiles.

I had brought my 4 year old grandson, who had been introduced to the wonderment of the finest ,most talented, humble, kindest gentleman entertainer of both children and adults, named RAFFI, since he was walking at a year old, by playing a video . My daughter, her son, and father thanked me for such a lovely concert with Raffi.

It was a great venue! Great voice and great songs! My son kept saying after the concert "but he didn't sing Coconut!"... Well Raffi has so many songs that he had to choose a few to sing.

My daughter, my grandson and I enjoyed hearing our favorite Raffi songs live. It is likely that my daughter and I had even more fun than my grandson because of the nostalgia factor. It was a very fun transgenerational outing.

No wonder this show sold out so quickly! I love Raffi; my daughter loves Raffi; I love that she loves Raffi. :) We had amazing seats, which certainly helped. She was a little star struck! There were lots of generations in the audience, which was also fun to see.

Took my 4 year old daughter to Raffi. We both loved it! We are big fans from listening to his music at home. Loved how he sang the traditional favorites, as well as some new songs that we didn't know. The audience interaction and sing-alongs made it a wonderful first "concert" experience for my daughter. Raffi was as charming and engaging as I had imagined he would be - which was great. I would definitely recommend!

Although Raffi's music was as good as ever, it was all the old songs from my children's era (20 years ago). He has just made a new album after 12 years and I had hoped to hear some new music. He had none of his usual commentary about saving the planet or protecting the environment which I had hoped to inspire my grandchildren. The concert started 10 minutes late and then only lasted for 1 hour. For $ 48 a ticket, I thought it was overpriced.

I grew up loving Raffi, and missed out on ever seeing him perform then. So I was excited to share the experience with 2 of my 4 kids. The ticket price was steep for a kids show but I happily paid it because of the experience. Raffi was great, he performed all the classics and some of his new material. But for the cost and the venue, I found the performance overall kind of boring, not just me but my kids. It was just him, a chair, his guitar and a rag. Which again would've been great in a smaller venue and at a smaller price. Still love you Raffi! Just not coming to any more shows

We spent $50 a ticket x 10 tickets for a ONE HOUR SHOW!!!!!! It was barly one hour with his hon core !!!! He never sand 4 of my kids fave songs. He sang sleepy songs that lost all the kids attention! ( a full audience of children not interested) ..... It actually ruenned some childhood memories for me:( and the old lady's at the door where so rood! Our son hurt himself on way in, we had to console him out side.... We ended up being 5 min late. They got mad at us at the door!!!!! It's i family concert!???? And not only was it at 2pm!! The nap time for almost every child but what do they expect when u are dragging kids out in middle of day to try find parking! They made a group of us "late ones" stand out for 15 min and watch it on the tv's!!!! Like a punishment! We could not intorupt mr. Sir Raffi!!! Nono him and his waist of $ , jest to pay for retirement show!!!!

Raffi was amazing! I listened to him as a child and now my daughter loves to sing along to the same songs as I did. The only con was that it only lasted an hour, it was a totally appropriate time for children but I could have stayed there all day (child at heart I guess).

I had the opportunity to fulfill a 22 year old promise on April 28, 2013. I took my son onsee his childhood idol, Raffi! When my sin was three, I had promised him that the next time Raffi was in NYC, I would take him there! Not only did I take my now 25 year old son to see Raffi, I brought his 3 year old daughter with us! If I was able to, I would have driven To Connecticut tue next day just to be able to hold onto the moment of watching my son and his daughter's faces light up when Raffi appeared on stage! Raffi was incredible! His music, his message, and his spirit will live on, forever.

My family thought Raffi did a great job. He kept the show simple and easy with only a few props since he was singing solo. The length was just right for little kids, but I wish he would have sung more songs from his CD's instead of other kid favorites.

My 3 year old boy loved the concert. It was his first ever concert and he thought it was awesome. He sang along to all the songs he knew and bounced to the ones he didn't. He really dug getting up and dancing to "Shake Your Sillies Out"! If he comes back to town sometime in the next 5 years, we're going again for sure.

Raffi's songs played in my house while I raised children in the 1980's. I enjoyed watching them experience the music once more, this time with my grandchildren! I was surprised at how much I still love these songs. My suggestion would be to schedule this type of concert at 10am, so the kids get their nap time in. Many children were tired at 1pm.

Delight when my autistic son realized he wasn't just watching his Raffi video when Raffi made up different words to the song "down by the bay"! Priceless! My son b started to dance in the aisle and sing along. He can't talk but he can sing every Raffi song by heart word for word! The seats were perfect and love that kids were dancing in the aisles.

Thank you Raffi for putting on an amazing show - enjoyed by our whole family (girls ages 2 and 4, mom, dad, and Grandma)! I grew up listening to his songs and my children love his music too. This was the first time I ever saw Raffi live and it was a great experience - he kept the show moving, the kids entertained, and the sing-a-longs were so much fun too. He interacts with the crowd on a very personal level. Overall, SO glad we went.

Not only did Raffi sing most of my daughters favorite songs, after the show we got to meet him. He took his time with everyone after the show. Not only did he sign my daughters book, he also took the time to talk to her, they sung Baa Baa Black Sheep together, he gave her a hug and took several pictures with us!! What a wonderful person he is!!! My daughter will never forget this great experience!

Raffi was absolutely fantastic. My son LOVED him and what a joy it was to share the love of Raffi with him. I grew up listening to Raffi and my son now gets to enjoy him, too. Raffi is a classic - genuine, interactive and a pleasure to watch. The live show was perfect and we can now re-live it every time we play the CDs at home. The memories will last a lifetime. Thank you, Raffi.

My family and I drove from Lynnwood, WA to see Raffi at his 40th Anniversary Concert at the Queen Elizabeth Theater. It was such a wonderful and uplifting concert at a lovely venue which made the trip one to remember. The venue was clean, organized and accommodating. Most importantly Raffi was absolutely amazing! Having grown up listening to him, to now sharing his music with my three year old son to then see him live on such a special occasion was magical and marvelous.

Simply put . . . Raffi is awesome! He can stand alone on a stage and totally engage with his audience. His music is varied, beautiful and fun. My only complaint about the music is that with all the popular "Raffi" music, I was a bit disappointed at some of the songs that were performed vs, some that were omitted. My greater disappointment was with the audience and the fact that very many parents today are not teaching their children etiquette. Dancing in the rows and aisles, clapping, singing . . . are all part of the Raffi experience. Just running up and down the aisles, however, and the unwillingness to remove a fussy, disinterested child puts a definite damper on the experience for those around us.

Our family had a wonderful time. Raffi played both classic songs that the adults had grown up with (and the kids love) and newer music. He was great at engaging the kids and getting them singing. He emanates kind graciousness, too. I'm so grateful we could attend!

First of all, Raffi was amazing. Total bucket list show. We had so much fun. However, he played about an hour and 10 minutes with no opening act, so it was rather expensive for an hour show. And he didn't play Mr. Sun, which was disappointing, but overall it was fun and great.

The event itself was great but if you are going to have an event geared toward young children, you should have a morning and/or late afternoon start time. This fell in the middle of a lot of nap times and you could tell from the meltdowns in the crowd.

Raffi delivered a solid performance. Mostly old hits and fan favorites. This was a matinee crowd, which tends to attract a younger audience. The performance was clearly put together with that in mind. Some parents may still have over-estimated the ability of their infants to enjoy a live performance. As one might expect, there were a few obnoxious parents in the crowd yelling at their kids, taking flash photos, etc. But generally a fun event, and our 2-year-old was mesmerized watching The Raffi perform in-the-flesh.

We had a great time. The concert was just the right length for our kids that attended. My grandaughter is 6 and she sat through the entire concert and sang along. My grandson is just over a year and loved the music. The only downside was other parents who allowed their kids to run up and down the aisle, which was very distracting.
