Marilyn Manson put on an excellent show, and the Orpheum is a great place to attend an event.

The venue itself was really good. Not as big as I expected it to be. Staff and security were professional, yet weren't rude or pushy. The performance by Marilyn Manson was amazing. You could see the passion he has for his music and the show that he puts on. He engaged the audience multiple times, making them a part of the performance. He also stopped to thank all of the fans who made the effort to attend the concert. The ones who were inconvenienced by the incident with the stage prop breaking his leg. This showed a deep appreciation for his fans. Another highlight (one of many) of his performance for me, is while he sang Sweet Dreams. He used a drop light as a microphone. That instantly made me think of his music video for Sweet Dreams, where he does the same. To me, this shows that he still remembers where he comes from, and the path that got him to where he is today. I would very much encourage anyone to attend a Marilyn Manson concert. I know that if I get a chance to attend any more of his concerts, I will jump at the chance.

Two firsts for me: seeing Marilyn Manson in concert and getting a meet and greet package. I was humbled when I spoke to people while standing in line for the meet and greet. Such an array of fans that were so nice! Getting to meet Marilyn Manson was amazing. The show was perfect for the venue. Well worth going to see on a Tuesday night!!

Slayer. Need I say more? I really hate that Manson headlined. He was good, but nowhere near Slayer. The show I saw in Atlanta only had the four big bands on the main stage and the rest were on the Jager stage. That kind of sucked since I understood from the website that like nine of the bands were on the main stage. But be sure not to miss the Jager stage! The set lists were also short. However, overall, an insanely good time. I will make this a habit!!

All of the bands were great. The only thing I didn't like was that every band on the main stage followed a too strict schedule. I feel that the bands on the main stage, especially Slayer and Marilyn Manson didn't perform to their full potential. Plus the fact that sitting on the lawn we couldn't seem to keep away from the mosh pits.

All bands did a great job, the crowd seemed a little dead at times... I personally came to see Manson, who proved my expectations and put up a great show, however seemed kinda.....not as energetic as usuall...didnt speak much to the fans, left the stage the second after the last song....Other than that he was the man:) Great event, thanks!!

Mayhem fest was day-long metal festival with most of the performances happening on smaller stages setup in the parking lot throughout the afternoon. Fortunately, there was a group passing out sunscreen so people would hopefully not get too burnt up from being outside from 1:30 till sunset under the Georgia sun. Then, there was also the Georgia heat (around 90 degrees I believe). Given these considerations, I think they should have lowered the price of water ($4 per liter), or at least provided water stations with tap water or unchilled water so as to still provide an incentive for people to buy the overpriced bottle water while still keeping the crowd hydrated. With all the beer being sold and the free Rockstar energy drinks (both of which can dehydrate you, though beer isn't as bad), I think these may have contributed to people passing out in the pit during the Marilyn Manson show. Many of the shows were great and spectacular, but I think being outside in the heat and the sun sapped a lot of energy out of the crowd after a few hours, especially when it came time for Bullet and Killswitch to perform on the main stage (though they still managed to pump the crowd up). Same goes for the drained energy during the Slayer show. There were plenty of hardcore slayer fans at the show, but all the moshing was limited to the lawn section. The pit was too overcrowded and there just wasn't any physical space to mosh (while this may not stop Slayer fans from moshing under other circumstance, a lot of the crowd's energy had been sapped from moshing/head banging throughout the day and being exposed to the Georgia heat and sun all day long). The crampedness of the pit, along with the heat, led me to move to the seated section for the Slayer show, since the only benefit of being in the pit (if you didn't mind the heat and crampdness) was feeling the bass move the hairs on your body and seeing the sweat on Slayer's faces. The Manson show was a different story. It was worth being in the pit for that, in part because the crowd in the pit thinned out a lot after the Slayer show, and there was even some moshing going on. Though I think the show got cut short due to some health issues arising with Marilyn Manson. Between songs, he would go to the back of the stage where a stage-hand would place a big ice bag on the back of his neck. Also, he would sometimes breathe in from a gas tank right before a song (I'm inclined to guess that it was oxygen). Overall, though, it was a rememberable experience. The heat and sun took its toll on the crowd, but what are you going to do about that? For the bands that I didn't particularly care for, there were enough booths and other things to do. For the bands I did care for, they still managed to pump-up the crowd and pull off an energetic show.

Killswitch Engage - this was my 2nd time seeing them, and they just rock the hell out of it every time. Great band to see live. Slayer - My 3rd time seeing them, and they are just great. Didn't play "Seasons in the Abyss," which was a little disappointing, but they were still very good. Marilyn Manson - I'm really not a fan of him, but he gave you what you expected. If you like his music, you'll like his show.

The concert was great. The bands were very good, sets weren't as long as they should have been on the main stage but its ok. The sound systems for all 3 stages were very good. The Lakewood Ampitheatre hosted a great party a usual. There were no crowd issues, just a few normal situation for a show like that but overall a safe well run event

The day began under the hot, Atlanta sun and continued blazing as the second stage rocked. Although, I'm not sure why there was a second stage when it did not coincide with the use of the main as. The band sequencing should not persist. God Forbid, and Trivium deserve main stage and Killswitchengage should be relegated to the second stage. But I guess bands like that allow a trip to the bathroom. Slayer blew the doors off, albeit, with a much shorter set because of the festival time constraints. Blasting threw mostly classics, they did not miss a beat. These guys are too much for a weak, mainstream rock (Bullet for my Valentine, KSE) crowd. They are true Metal Gods. As Marilyn Manson took the stage and launched into a set that was built for 1997, many fans rocked out, but many Metal heads like me are tired of his act.. His stale live show worked for adolescents in the nineties, but the world has moved on. We, along with others filed out as the crunch from his also-ran shock rock rang out into the night. Jody Rosen of Rolling Stone encapsulates the view of Manson in a recent Rolling Stone reivew of his latest album, The High End of Low, "At a time when extreme sex and violence are available 24/7/365 at the click of a mouse, Devil Incarnate is a career choice that pays increasingly diminishing returns. But Marilyn Manson still wants the gig." He continues to try and shock, but it's nostalgia that people look to him for, not pop culture relevancy, and certainly not headlining status. At least we got home in time for Conan.

I have been waiting to see Marilyn Manson for YEARS. His show did not disappoint! The venue was pretty cool, it was my first show at Stage AE. The location is excellent. The only negative was we waited in line for 25 min with a ton of other people, only to be told that we had to loop all the way around to the other side and ended up at the back of a line that stretched around the block. Some guidance from the staff when we were lining up would have been fabulous. Manson put on an amazing performance. Even getting in later than we planned due to the line snafu, we still managed to get pretty close to the stage. Had a great time!!

This was a great venue to see this show not too big not too small. We got almost to the front unfortunately behind 3 very tall hard core Manson fans but we still got to see pretty well and caught a hat he threw out. Also he came out to the crowd several times, the last time we got to touch him and I petted his face and got his black makeup on my hands and put it on my daughter's face and on mine. It was pretty cool wish had gotten a pic of it but the memory is great. I really hope they tour again for Antichrist superstar 20th anniversary we will def be there! This was our fourth time to see Marilyn Manson in concert and it was the most amazing one yet! Manson is an entertainer, he enjoys it and he knows how to engage the audience. They played all our favorite songs! This was our first time to be front row (general admission) so I guess that made our experience that much sweeter :) Manson kept coming into the front row crowd and everyone was loving it and having a great time! We're from Texas and this was our first time in Louisiana; the people around us were so nice! For most of them, it was their first time at a Manson concert and they thoroughly enjoyed it! I think my only complaint is the four disturbances that broke out on the floor level (general admission) behind us. The good thing is there was a strong police presence and they quickly and appropriately handled each situation to keep everyone safe.

Over all, Manson put on one hell of a show. It was just a lot shorter than I would've liked.. And no, I didn't expect 10 hours worth... But a full 2 hours would've been satisfactory.
One of the best shows of the year. Extreme energy and the sound was phenomenal. If you are on the fence, get off and go. No regrets. Awesome showmanship.
Truly the greatest concert I have ever been to!!! He truly knows how to put on a show!!! Set list was amazing and their was never a dull moment!!! He talked to members of the crowd and made a couple funny moments into it. It felt more like hanging out with friends then just watching another concert!!! Hope we an do it again soon!!!
Did not expect a theatrical production, so I was not disappointed. He did a great job, and appeared to be into the show. I've seen Manson six or seven times, and this one ranks in the middle somewhere; that's why four stars instead of five. Worth the money and time for sure. Worst part was closing on such a slow song. Opening band, Knee High Fox, was also good. Wish their set had been a little longer.
I took my 17 year old daughter to this concert. She bought tickets and her ride backed out at the last minute. M. M. isn't my favorite, but I've always appreciated his talent and points of view. Anyway, we drove 3 hours to this venue. We found out about getting in early by eating out Coda's the night before and managed to get a reservation. My daughter was on front row and had a blast! The show was excellent. I wound up enjoying it too. The venue gets 4 stars instead of 5 only because it was old and little dirty. Other than that, I have no complaints. Bathrooms were clean and plentiful. Bars were everywhere and had plenty of water too. I would definitely go back. The sound and view was much better on the floor than in balcony.
My husband and I have seen Manson perform innumerable times and this show at the National this week was by far one of Mansons best ever to date! Manson was engaged with the crowd and acknowledged the entire crowd repeatedly. The sound and lights were perfect. It also just happened to be Manson father, Hughs, birthday and Manson got the whole crowd to sing Happy Birthday to his dad which was so cute. Manson put everything he had into his art that night, which was greatly appreciated by the fans. It seemed everybody in the venue knew all of the songs and everybody was singing just beautifully throughout. Thank you Manson and crew - you took it over the top! ..and fans, you represented your hero well ;)
First time ever seeing his show. Was kind of expecting the gore and the theatrics. Was very pleased to see the opposite. He was very personable. Very engaged with the crowd and put on a hell of a show! Will go see again....without hesitation.
I had never seen him live and really went because my son (15) is a huge fan. I really enjoyed the show. The stage was small though and there wasn't always a spotlight on him so you couldn't see him over half the time. Maybe that's how he likes it. He had a way of introducing each song that was cool but sorta cheesy. Overall entertaining show, but poor lighting. He played all of my old and new favorites.

This was my 4th time seeing Marilyn Manson. I'm not a huge fan so I don't know any new songs, but the show was still pretty good. The beginning was iffy, he forgot some lyrics and I'm fairly certain he had a stroke on stage. Towards the middle is when it started to pick up. The crowd had amazing energy which definitely reflected in his performance. I recommend anyone who hasn't seen him to do so, and to be honest, I probably will again.

Marilyn Manson Vancouver, March 29th 2015 " The Hell Not Hallelujah Tour" Last night's MARILYN MANSON Concert rocked Vancouver. We had never been to one of his shows and it was an opportunity we had to experience. " The Hell Not Hallelujah Tour" Going back to the early years of METAL Live shows, One always has to think of Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Judas Priest or other Metal shows during the 70's. Marilyn Manson definitely has the Music, the show, the entertainment factor and a huge fan base to sell out a show. Vancouver is no exception. It was Halloween in March as many were in their best Gothic look. The show was all about Marilyn and his new Album too. "The Pale Emperor & The Hell Not" His new music, A mix of Rock, Blues Alternative, Grunge and Metal we would say, all Marilyn Manson! From his old hits to the new ones, it was a very entertaining visual effects event. The lighting was vibrant with dark colours, strobes and bright flashes. A lot of fog made for that Gothic atmosphere. Many pictures turned out almost black and white but with traces of colour. We all waited for the hits, 'Dope show' 'The Beautiful People' and the Covers ' Personal Jesus' and ' Sweet Dreams' His many looks during the show. It looked like he was slowly getting more make-up on as the show progressed. Different coats, hats and stage props always adds to the effect. The whole of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre were on their feet to the end. Only one Encore Song, 'Coma White' with snow effects being sprinkled down from the rafters in the fog and cool lighting. It ended about 10:05pm. almost two hours. All in all it was a very entertaining evening. The music where we were sitting didn't sound all the best in our opinion but it was Marilyn Manson and it could have been the effect he was looking for. You just never know these days! You really needed to be further back to enjoy all the special effects.

It might have been the weather or the earlier start, or the strange opening band but the crowd seemed a little subdued for a Manson crowd. There seemed to be some problems with the microphones or monitor, for Mr. Manson was not a happy camper, he threw mikes around and kicked stands. He even mentioned someone was being fired. All this aside , I've seen him before you never know what to expect. I thought the setlist was very good and enjoyed the mix of old and new songs. Technical problems removed I really enjoyed the show. Everything can't be perfect every time I guess. Keep the faith, Ant

Manson sounded amazing. I was a bit worried with the shows I've seen on youtube that he didn't sound so well anymore, but his voice still sounds the same as it did in the 90's. He showed some good energy throughout most of the show, but he does spend a lot of time laying down or sitting on the stage so I would highly recommend getting seats as close as possible to the stage. We had seats in the 6th row which definitely helped us enjoy the show! The opening act was a big disappointment. I was hoping it would be the heavy metal kids from Brooklyn, but it was some drugged out lady & a keyboardist that were horrible.

The only reason he received 3 stars is because I've been a Marilyn Manson fan since the beginning! To see him was pretty amazing, to see him not even able to get his own lyrics out, not so much! People pay good money to see these artists perform. It's sad... He was pretty out there, slurred half the concert! I was hoping because it was early in the evening/night he wouldn't be so lit, not so much. Further into the night, the worse he got...

I now realize that even though I enjoyed all the prior artistic antics on all his prior tours. This basically strip raw show. Connected Manson to the audience like never before. Everyone left saying, BEST SHOW EVER. I hope Manson knows that. I truly been a fan of lyrics and music for a long time. So when an artist delivers an album and show with such amazing force. Before the show even began, after a crowd pleasing opening by support act 'Unlocking The Truth' the stage wide white curtain dropped to reveal, the latest incarnation of Marilyn Manson's logo for The pale Emperor. It's presence riled an already uncontainable sense of anticipation. The flesh to flesh pressed crowd, grew thicker by the second, baited by Faith No More's "You want it out but you can't have it..." playing gently in the moments before the venue's lights faded to black and the Manson soundtrack ushers in the commencement of the show. Symphonic new wave strings sweep the soundscape and transport us all to a place and time where Manson reigns. It's a Sci Fi Horror show where he presides and imitators fail to tread. Laser light cut through the thick smoke filled air and allow a glimpse of moving figures, as Twiggy takes the stage, his shoulders armored by Metallic glam rock peaks. Then Manson appears front and center as first cut 'Deep Six' erupts, the crowd now frenzied. Between songs Manson teased the audience with verses of other artist's songs, among them Jay Z's 'Holy Grail' as with all things Manson, no deed is random in delivery, as the verses he chose related to each song they served prelude to. A career in hard Rock has garnered Manson an arsenal of beloved anthems, which pleasured the throng of fans who's presence at his shows earn them a badge of honor. No meek participants brave GA standing at a Manson show! Manson's clever wordplay and natural showmanship makes for the most memorable between song banter, he regaled us with his NY story, revealing a 7 month residence in Time Square's Double Tree, that he and Twiggy shared, He also shout out to Party Monster Michael Alig, who he believed to be in the audience. The show closed with Coma White, which was a visually arresting masterpiece, resplendent with a blood soaked Manson clutching a mike stand adorned by white blood shot orchids,

I have seen MM about 5 times now, and was excited to see him in a small venue like Jannus.... and the place was packed big time, had to be almost sold out!! He did a great variety of his songs... from old to new, and had all the props, and glitter to go along!!... Apparently all his fans were happy too, as we all sang along, to the hits, and everyone had their phone up in the air shooting photos/videos. I saw him last year with Rob Zombie, and thought this show was better! He came out with Angel with the Scabbed Wings... and kept everyone rockin till he left us with The Beautiful People... It was an Awesome show!! Hope to see him back at Jannus again!! \\m/ \\m/

Every song he had a new outfit and different makeup and he changes the scenery! I've been seeing him in concert for 17 years and have had a blast at every concert! I will continue to see him when he comes to my area! He always does a good playlist too!

I have been a big fan since he came on the scene back in the late 90's and had been dying to see him live... it's safe to say that I wasn't disappointed.... I honestly would go and see him live again and not wait this long to deny myself from this amazing show!!!

I wasn't sure what to expect from Manson but I was blown away! He put on a great heavy metal show! I've never seen him live before but his live show was better than the album version of his music. The band was tight and very energetic, they gave the impression that they wanted to be there and that they were enjoying themselves. I would not miss another chance to see him when he comes back. I would note that I recommend you bring some hearing protection to the show, it was extremely loud. My ears were ringing 2 days after the show.

Manson is the best performer there is, hands down. You've gotta go experience this once in your like, even if you aren't a big fan. He changes outfits/props/face paint between most every song... Just go! YOU WILL BE ENTERTAINED!

Went with a couple friends, got separated, not a problem. Everyone there was having an awesome time. the camaraderie from the crowd was badass! Manson was punctual and all the songs were amazing. his stage presence of course was second to none. he and the rest of the band genuinely seem to be enjoying themselves with the crowd. plus they or not greedy in the least when it came to throwing things out to the crowd. great show and I can't wait for them to come back around to Atlanta again!

Marilyn Manson brings intensity, drama and spectacle to his shows like Iggy Pop, David Bowie and Boy George combined; however, for me, the best two songs were both covers: Personal Jesus (Depeche Mode) and Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) (Eurythymics). I also enjoyed The Dope Show, mOBSCENE, Anti-Christ Superstar and Beautiful People, which are all originals.

Not only was the venue a wonderful place with plenty of space and great sound, the show itself was fantastic. Picture Me Broken was a great opener. Wonderful music, great stage presence, and not to mention amazing vocals. Their set wasn't too long but it was long enough that they left an impression. Marilyn Manson stole the show. Opening with Angel With The Scabbed Wings was a great way to help us remember how all of this started. Granted, it wasn't from his first album, but it's still rare to hear more than one song from any album before Mechanical Animals. His vocals were spot on and his stage presence was prodigious. For anyone who says that his shows have gotten lax, they are sadly mistaken. The theatrics were above par and the mingling of past and present was very well done. Interaction with the crowd was superb and very familiar in the best way. Alice Cooper put on a great show as well. The pyrotechnics were a sight to see and the set list was great! The money sword and snake were a great addition and the vocals were very well done. The duet between Marilyn Manson and Alice Cooper was sublime and made the show that much more amazing. I will DEFINITELY be going to any other show I can get tickets for!

I've been to several Manson concerts in many different venues. This was a whole new experience because all of the shows I've been to have incorporated a lot of theatrics. This show did not. This show was all about the music which was amazing because he sang amazingly. He performed several new songs from "The High End of Low" and several classics. He wasn't messed up on some substance and was able to really give it his all in vocals. I loved this concert. It was one of my favorites....and favorite for the music....which is afterall what makes us goto concerts!

I loved the way the two smaller stages were set up - right next to each other, and as soon as one band finished another band started right up. Unlike Warped Tour or Crue Fest, no bands overlapped - which is quite a feat for 13 bands. The only downfall to this is that some bands only get a half-hour, but they make the most of it. Free Rockstar punchers to drink, meet & greets with some of the bands and moderately-priced merchandise - the only thing that could've made this show better is if Killswitch Engage also got an hour to play.

Mayhem Fest was absolutely amazing!! I went with my wife and a friend from work!! We all had an awesome time!! We ran a little late, but parking was not a problem. We got in with ease and enjoyed checking out all the awesome outfits people had on and all the cool merch. We went to the Hot Topic and Jager stage and had an amazing time up front!! We then went to the lawn and sat for a min the got upgrade tickets to the seats!! It was great!! We met alotta cool people and enjoyed all the music and food and beverages!! It was perfect!!! Couldnt imagine if we had missed it. Will definately be doing it again soon!!!

As a huge Manson fan myself I was looking forward to this concert for 6+ months. At $99 per ticket, I am now over $200 in the hole due to no refunds!? The opening DJ started at 8:00 pm like the venue said and she played for like 20 minutes. From 8:20 to 9:20 the whole crowd was left in the dark awaiting Manson to start. When he did finally come out, it started off fine then turned ugly way too fast. He played 3, 3 minute songs within 1 hour. After each song the crowd was left in the dark for minutes at a time waiting for the next song to start, let alone see anyone on stage. Manson refused to play because he accused the crowd of not making enough noise or showing that we didn't love him enough? After a grueling 40 plus minute rambling drunken speech he stormed off stage, leaving the crowd in the dark to never return. The crowd was pissed, chanting F*** you Manson, and REFUND! The concert was cut short and what we were left with was nothing short of embarrassing, frustrating and most of all disappointing. I understand that his parents died recently but this in inexcusable to do this to your fans. We are the ones that made him who he is today and this is how you repay your fans? The concert was postponed from October 3rd in the first place, and believe me, the concert wasn't worth it even if it were free.

I have seen Manson about 15 times and you never know what you are going to get. There have been times that he appeared intoxicated and the performance suffered. Other times he was right on point. This was a sold out show in a venue that holds 2,200. Wall to wall people and the energy in the room was crazy. This was the last show of his tour and he added an extra song or two. He was excellent and maybe the best that I have seen him in many years. He is an original and that always makes it entertaining.

I WANT A REFUND!!! I have never said that after a show. Oh my God. I have no idea what his problem was, but the show was a joke. Amazonica, the opening DJ was GREAT!!! The band itself WAS GREAT!!! But Marylin himself...oh boy. He sat around, saying the audience didn't love him enough for like 40 minutes (despite the fact that many including I paid $99 to see him.) He played like 5 songs, and then just screwed around for the last hour of the show. I have never been to a show that ended in booing. Some people drove 8 hours from upstate New York to see him. I felt so bad. I hope he gets better, but gosh. I can't believe what happened.

Doors didn t open on time waited out in the freezing cold 1 hour late past ticket time. Opening act was only a DJ playing song samples, nothing special. Main artist started even later, obviously intoxicated to the point of a poor performance. Got mezzanine seats to sit down, can t stand too long from recent injury. \u2018Large drunk couple in front of me wouldn t sit down, could barely see. Who gets seats in a mezzanine to stand up drunk the entire time, really? Highly disappointed, will not see this artist again.
