This was an awesome show! I really enjoyed myself and waiting for her to come back to DC.

Avery Sunshine is an amazing vocalist and performer!! She is super talented in playing the piano and her vocal range is outstanding.

I was truly satisfied with the performance of Avery Sunshine. A wonderful performer with a heart for God that exudes through her music. She reaches out to the audience and really connect. I will most definitely see her again and bring several friends with me next time. Awesome!!!

The Avery Sunshine performance was nothing short of unforgetable. The soultry rhythmic tunes reverberated and sent chills through the room. Avery is kind in her delivery as she sings about love. Her fans are able to reach her and she is kind enough to respond. Avery is in a league of her own and is a blessing to soulful R&B music.

OMG!!! where do I begin. The venue was spectacular. It was intimate, just the right amount of people. The service from the bar and food was excellent. Ms. Avery Sunshine was absolutely amazing. She has such a pure voice and as a spectator I felt a part of the show. Her band was the best. This is such a great thing for the Apollo. I would definitely come again and again. With artists like Ms. Sunshine who do not get the air play or props like some artists who can't sing, it is great to know that there are venues like this where you can go and hear real performers. Apollo keep them coming.

This is my second time seeing her. The first time was for free, and a short session. But it was good enough that I gladly paid to see her this time. If you love R&B and neo-soul, but also like a little gospel, a little house music, and some personality in a performer (think Patti Labelle), then check out this supremely talented performer. Her voice is powerful, and she doesn't hold back. The one thing I am still waiting for, is for her to do an uptempo Jam of the old Roy Ayers tune, like she did on Youtube. But maybe she's just giving me a reason to come back next time.

Avery Sunshine turned out the Birchmere! She has a wonderful voice and is very personable and funny. She immediately got the audience involved by singing "My Girl" as the opening song. This Temptations song has the lyrics...."I got Sunshine on a cloudy day" which was so appropriate considering she did bring sunshine to the audience. She incorporated some old school music in her songs. I will definitely go see her again.

Both Avery and Trina have amazing, rich, full, beautiful voices. Their performances were personal and unique. Their audience interaction was wonderful.

I was visiting my daughter in NY and decided to go to the Apollo Theater.. We had a wonderful evening. Avery has a beautiful spirit and a very soulful sound. We bought her cd and have become fans.

Avery Sunshine is a phenomenal artist and engaging performer. She connects with her audience musically and spiritually. Within 30 seconds, you feel like you are sitting in your living room with one of your best girlfriends. Her voice is powerful, her music is lyrical, and her presence is captivating. Every time Avery Sunshine performs in a city near me, I will be there!

It all started with Julie Dexter who hurt us pretty bad(which is a great thing)! She just opened her mouth and poured out her SOUL! Avery Sunshine came out next and busted everybody's head OFF!!! She was so funny(as usual)! My big sister grabbed OUR souls mended them and just filled the whole place with SUNSHINE!! Live Tropical Fish ended it all by sending us to the moon!! They are a phenomenal band with two great singers!! Concerts like these are what the world needs!! I'm sooo grateful to have seen these magnificent acts come together to rock ATL!!! I don't know if there will ever be another one like it! wheeeeew...!

Avery Sunshine put on a sensational performance at the Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia. It is a "must see" whenever Avery Sunshine comes to the DMV area. However, I hacw also gone to see Avery perform at the Hampton Jazz Festival. I love when she is local and I will encourage anyone to witness Avery Sunshine for themselves. Her voice is very captivating and her performance is so wonderful!!! Avery please come back again!!

Great concert! I had a very relaxing night. It was therapy for my mind.

I thought Warren Hill was very good and set the table for Mr. White who came on and was top sirloin steak with wine as the main course. Well worth the price of admission. Mrs. Sunshine was a very nice topping for dessert.

This is the third time that my wife and I have seen Ms. Sunshine. The first time, about three or four years ago she opened for KEM. They announced her and she came out with just a keyboard and her guitarist/partner (now husband) Big Dane and the whole crowd was like..."Who the hell is this?". We'll that didn't last long, within 10 minutes she was tearing the house down! When she left the stage, nobody wanted her to leave. Went out the next day and bought her debut album. Second time, we had to show up at the Hampton Jazz Festival on time to make sure we didn't miss her set. Again turned it out. Bought the tickets for her show at the American Theatre on the day they came out, months before the show. The SHOW...she sang, she talked, the crowd sang and talked (to her). We all laughed and we all got serious. One of my favorite shows of all time. No need for elaborate staging, dancers, or gimmicks. Just pure talent. She is one of the best performers/singers/artist in the industry today. If she comes to your town, GO SEE HER!

I couldn't have asked for a better show, Avery Sunshine and her duo surpassed my expectations! She's a amazing live performer! The love for music, people and Jesus is definitely felt, when you enter a room with Avery and the sunshine band. Also you leave feeling better than you came.

She had Sam, the bass player who brought the feeling of the bass to light. My husband, who is a sax professional follow this group whenever they are close...We first saw them on the Capital Jazz cruise and since that moment, we became a fan....Keep up the great sound!!!! Avery Sunshine was a graceful light that ignited the American Theatre audience Saturday night. I just loved how she careful explained each theme or reason why she chose the songs before singing them. She s a very humble young lady that knows God is all powerfully and will guide her steps. My wife and thoroughly enjoy her performance and hope she will return soon. MUCH LOVE YOUNG LADY!

Her concert was so personal and her voice is unforgettable. Pure richness and motivating. She's now one of my all time favorites.

A night out on the town ...my wife and I started out with dinner and a fine wine. The American Theater hosted an extraordinary show featuring Avery Sunshine. We were blown away! True talent and stage presence! The highlight of our evening!

The concert was one of the concerts I've ever been to. Avery was very personable and her stage presence was outstanding. The sound system is one of the best in the Hampton Roads area. The American Theater is a great venue for this type of concert. I hope they will bring this type of entertainment back to this venue in the future. I will be there!

I took my wife to see Ms. Sunshine for her birthday March 5, 2016, To both of our surprise Ms. Sunshine Duo took our breath away with her vocal skills and lyrics. We hope to see this Duo at the Jazz festival.

Avery and her band made me fall in love, understand love and its frustrations, and reaffirm my faith all in a short time span. Her vocals and ability to connect with the audience are out of this world. I will definitely see her again soon. She debuted a little of her new music and I cannot wait to hear it. Best thing ever she face timed with my friend who was not able to make the show because of a death in the family.

Avery*Sunshine brought her A-game to the DMV on August 29, at the Birchmere, even going as far as to upstage the main attraction, Noel Gourdin. She was personable, entertaining, funny, humble, and most importantly talented. She traveled with her bassist, drummer, and guitarist, and she herself played the piano. Her performance was the right amount of everything, and for as beautiful as she sounds on recordings, she sounds even better in person. I mean; how rare is that? The crowd was clapping, head-bopping, singing along, and on their feet nearly the entire show. She was the epitome of a professional and made everyone fall in love with her more. She called her mom while on stage to tell her the show was sold-out. [That was cute.] She sang gospel, R&B, and Neo-Soul; kicked her shoes off, to get more comfortable, made some unforgettable faces, and it was easy to see that she loves what she's doing. After Noel's very forgettable set, she signed autographs, took pictures, and did it all with a smile. Wow; what a class act. She gets 5 stars for her performance, because she is indeed an entertainer. But Noel Gourdin ought to be released from his label for the nonsense he came with.

Avery Sunshine was magnificent! Neo Soul, Gospel, Jazz and R&B, all in one beautiful person. A voice so magnificent the rest of the world better get ready b/c Avery is simply the best! SHE SHINES FROM HER ENTRANCE TO HER EXIT! AWESOME!

This was my first time seeing Avery Sunshine. It will NOT be my last! I was accompanied by my gf who was on her 8th trip. That's how great Avery is. I've never been to a show where the artist was so engaging, interactive, and hype from the beginning to the end. It was like being with a good good good girlfriend. She had us all singing and feeling the groove with her. And those last 20 minutes where she took us IN?!!! Amazing. Her range is sick. Her style is amazing. You won't be disappointed. Go!

The venue is great..the food was great and come out really fast and Avery Sunshine is AMAZING....I loved everything about it! I will be back soon!

The descriptive words to describe Avery Sunshine have yet to be invented! Her performance was just that good! She took us from RnB, to soul, to Gospel! This wasn t a performance, this was an Artist artfully doing what they loved for two hours straight! I m still blown away!

I loved the show. I really came to see Avery Sunshine. I didn't know the other 2 acts. They turned out to be almost as good as Avery Sunshine. I loved them too. I'm so happy I went to the show.

The Avery*Sunshine experience is soulfully tantalizing and more on the beyond indescribable!! Her voice is so sweet, smooth and soothing that it captures you with every note and word. The lyrics and melody of any of her songs tell at least a few of your life stories. To the band and the background singers, they complement Avery*Sunshine so well that harmony is the simplest way to describe the sound!

This was date night for me and my husband and we really enjoyed the show. The atmosphere was great and we are now Avery fans!

Avery Sunshine was magnificent as usual!! She, her band & her back up singers sounded great & we're very engaging! The sound was good, my seats were good & I was comfortable. The only negatives were: the parking (difficult to get out) and waiting outside in the cold for an hour! That is the only thing that I dislike about Center Stage, not being able to wait inside when there is bad weather. Also, the patrons at Vinyl always enter early & never have to wait outside long.

This was my first time seeing a show at Andiamo Showplace, so I was naturally a bit nervous. However, the venue is pretty nice and has great sound. Avery Sunshine and Kindred the Family Soul were amazing. I was a bit put off by the amount of people talking and walking out during Kindred's set though...I found that to be sort of rude...

The show was amazing. All of the artists performed well, I just wish Avery Sunshine's performance was a little longer. The venue was perfect, Andiamo's layout, the service and the food was great. It's a beautiful place for a concert. Everybody had a great time.

Avery sunshine is a amazing singer i would see her any time. The venue though andiamo is terrible uncomfortable seating and bad service not to mention parking was unforgettable . Definitely will not go see anything there again.

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Ms Avery Sunshine/Dana Johnson truly have God given talent. The show was very upbeat , funny , and soul stirring. The Kindred Family was ok, but seem to have lost the audience alitte. An the warmup act Johnyce was very good. The only thing the promoter should have done which is to have made Avery Sunshine/Dana Johnson the main act !!! Everyone has to go an see Avery Sunshine, it is one concert that you don't want to miss!!!!

There were 3.5 acts which ran over 4 hours. The first two acts & the MC were good, the last act was not great!

The Neo Soul-sations concert was really good. This is my second time seeing Avery Sunshine perform. I was not disappointed as she is a dynamic and talented artist.

Overall the show was fantastic!! Even with the threat of Winter Storm Linus everyone had a wonderful time. The MC a comedian named Coco was great. Since I am from Louisiana and traveled to Detroit just for this show (specifically Avery Sunshine) I had never heard her before. She is absolutely hilarious!!! The opening act was good also. Now the best performance of the night was hands down Avery Sunshine. I laughed with her, I cried with her , and I most definitely sung along with her. She should have closed out the show!!! The last act however was Kindred Family Soul. Oh goodness where do I begin?! First off they both was dressed like they decided at the last minute to show up! The vocals (on the husband part) was horrendous. The wife tried to carry it through, but there is only so much one can do! Many folks left during the performance, myself included. The venue was beautiful and I would like to say very very nice. We were shuttled to another parking area by van since the was full. It wasn't bad at all and the driver was super nice to me and gave me good information in regards to the weather, when she found out we were from Louisiana. All in all great show with the exception ofKindred Family Soul.
