Bullet for My Valentine

5-star performance but a 3-star venue. As expected, high energy throughout. Great performance, fun crowd even in the pit for an old geezer like me. Sketchy sightlines, especially upstairs. Show up early. Will go again and hole to see bullet many times more! Aura is new and will work out the kinks. Portland deserves a good, mid-size venue like this.

These guys never seem to let me down!!! The crowd was so pumped up and everyone had a great time. Can t wait to see them again.

Both All That Remains and BFMV were awesome. Bullet even played a brand new song that has never been heard before. ATR was energetic as hell and really got the crowd going. Bullet played a great mix of old stuff and new stuff as well as one of my fav songs that didn't make the original album cut, "Ashes of the Innocent". Awesome show.

Opening bands were amazing. But when Bullet came out, evryone just went crazy. The crowd was really friendly and supportive of the band. I would definately go back and see them in Novemeber.

I never went to an outdoor even at the Electric Factory so I wasn't sure how it would be....but it was great, I think the sound was better outside than it is inside. We also saw BFMV indoors here a couple years ago. They are excellent players and their songs sound better than the studio version. They played about 5 songs from the newest album and all the old favorites.

Great Show! I was worried because I am in a wheelchair and wasn't sure how I would see the stage at a general admission outdoor show. The staff was great. There was a raised platform area set up for wheelchairs! It was great! If I had to come up with a complaint, it would be over parking. $25 to park. Ouch! Overall the show was fantastic. I think Halestorm stole the show, but really all the bands sounded awesome. Thanks for a great show!!

I saw BFMV at the Filmore in Silver Spring, MD for the HardDrive Tour and they were absolutely amazing! They played for roughly one and half hours and played tons of songs off each of their albums. They were extremely interactive with the crowd and even had a sing-along for "The Last Fight" (acoustic version) that was scaled down with just vocals and a single electric guitar, which then turned into full band and the all out heavy version. I would absolutely see them again at any venue and on any tour within driving distance!

It was a night like no other and something I will never be able to forget for the rest of my life. I ran out of memory on my phone because of this amazing one of a kind performance. I went to sleep with music in my ears even though I was in complete silence. I loved this performance and I live for BULLET!!!!!

All 4 bands performed with a great amount of energy and the 2 opening bands did a great job, getting the crowd warmed up. Halestorm did wonderful, especially that kickass drum solo that got everyone pumped up for more! Bullet for My Valentine did great. All their songs brought excitement to the audience. It was an unforgettable and exciting night for everyone.

The HardDrive Live 5 tour in NYC was absolutely a memory served for the ages to come. The opening act started off as Stars in Stereos which was a band I had not heard of before but am sure glad I was given the chance to because they were completely catchy and explosive, not mention exotic lol. Young Guns took the stage up next and was quite the pump up set. Not too big on them but I liked the energy they produced to rise up the crowd. The third act, who I mainly came out to support, Halestorm, really set the bar for the night. With performances from both studio albums including an amazing drum solo from drummer, Arejay Hale and special guest appearance by Amy Lee of Evanescence, I couldn't keep still as I sung along to every song with my girlfriend by my side who happened to be a huge Halestorm fan as well. In the finale of Bullet for my Valentine taking the stage, the place completely erupted from start to finish of the set. Circle pits, crowd surfs and raging moshes, the place became unglued and from left to right fists were flying, bodies were scrambling and insanity ensued. But not without the family-like vibe of us fans looking out for each other, making sure nobody was intentionally hurt as we lost our minds as BFVM blasted such hits as Waking the Demon, Riot, Scream Aim Fire, Temper Temper, Riot, and even Tears Don't Fall. I completely recommend anyone not only to attend a Bullet for my Valentine show but also to really bring your A game of insanity because it is totally worth the experience.

i had seen both bands before and kinda knew what to expect. they did not disappoint. the house of blues is a very small venue. seats were very close, but at the same time, it sounded like there was an echo from the sound bouncing off the walls. not bad at all, but the sound could have been a little better. bullet keeps getting better and better and halestorm is coming in to their own and should be around for a long time. a lot of energy, great performers, and great music.

This is the first stop of the U.S. tour with Halestorm. The two opening bands were good Stars and Young Guns ,but the real action started when Halestorm took the stage. A tight set of great songs with a cool drum solo thrown in. Lizzy was in great form(no Pun intended),her guitar playing and voice were amazing. They have come a long way since I seen them at the Rockstar Fest. Speaking of another alum of the RS fest, Bullet came out with an intense high energy set mixing old and new material.The nearly sold to capacity crowd was entertained throughly, as was I. Three different pits erupted,some what a little violent ,but if someone fell the others picked them up. So a great start for a tour that should be a must see event. This show was bad-ass and straight to the point! Fast paced and in your face I loved it!

i wasnt the biggest all that remains fan until i saw this show, they opened for bullet and were simply amazing. but when bullet came out it just got that much better. this was my first concert and it definately wont be my last but this was definately a great exerience for being my first show. bullet started out with possibly my favorite song ever, your betrayal.

The opening band All That Remains did an amazing show. While BFMV did an amazing show also! It all was awesome.

Bullet For My Valentine, along with All That Remains, put on a phenomenal show together. By far the most amazing concert I've been to. The energy in the atmosphere was unbelievable. Both of the bands really know how to get the crowd going crazy. I really hope that they have another show together, because the two of them together is insane.

This was the best show I've ever been to, the band has so much raw live energy! From start to finish they put on a great performance, and the fact that it was at Water Street Music Hall made it much more up close and in your face. I would definitely go see them again, and recommend my friends to see them as well!

I've been to a LOT of shows and this one will never fade into the blur. Despite the large number of sloppy drunks the show was a blast! A good combination of new and old music that could be appreciated by everyone, no matter how long you have been following the band.

cry to the blind was a band id never heard before but were still pretty good. bullet was absolutely amazing especially from the front row!!!!!!!!!

They were great from start to finish. Matt said at the end he was drunk but every single one of them was spot on...every note and lyric sounded like it did from their albums. These guys are just freakishly amazing. Hope they come back to Rochester again!

I loved the Bands.. Drive A started off.. and the cocky lead singer jumped right into the pits. Mind you, there was NO SEATING, which, normally is no problem. But this band was all about encouraging craziness in the pit, which ruined it RIGHT AWAY for me. Bullet for My Valentine: The music was awesome, loud (loved it), and they played every song you could think of! Escape the Fate was worth seeing..and the fans loved them too. It was very HOT in there... doors were even opened. There was no age limit, which normally I don't mind (I have been to this venue several times), but, the under 16 crowd was huge. They were out of control, and too crazy.

Drive A did really good, they had great stage presents & their music was good. Black Tide was okay. Escape the fate was amazing, I think they should have had more stage time though. & BFMV ROCKED of course

I live in Florida and was flying to New York the day of the show. I was late due to a flight cancellation and delay. I didn't get there till right as Black Tide was finishing their last song "Warriors of Time" which is an amazing song. ): Escape the Fate was sick. Bullet for My Valentine blew 'em out of the water, of course. :P This was the second time I've seen BFMV live. Mayhem '09 was the first. They have such a great stage presence and performance. I'd see them again 3439693469 times. ♥

I'm pretty sure this was one of the best concerts I've been too. I'd recommend anyone who is thinking about going to go. There was not one bad part to this concert. Plus, this band sounds amazing live.

The concert was awesome., although I did find it strange that I did not receive an email notifying me that the venue had changed. If I had driven down to the Washington Armorey and found that the concert was somewhere else I would have been quite mad. It was packed and it got very hot in there. All the bands played really well. Matt Tuck's mic though was not very loud. I'm not sure if it was because he was sick or if his mic wasn't turned up enough.

This is the 6th Bullet For My Valentine show that I've attended over the last 4 years, the first time I've ever experienced the Electric Factory venue it was small, which made the show more personal it was fantastic! Escape the Fate, Black Tide and Drive A all rocked the house too, but BFMV was absolutely stunning!! Their sound was so clear and perfect, I screamed my heart out every word to every song!!!! I wish they would come around to Philadelphia venues more often, and the set list was so complete with a great variety of songs from all three albums and HAND OF BLOOD!! I LOVE THE BOYS OF BULLET!!!

I didn't really enjoy the first two opening bands that much but Escape the Fate was okay. Bullet was simply amazing. I will defiantly go to another Bullet For My Valentine concert every chance i get.

Seen Drive A, Black Tide, Escape the Fate and Bullet for my valentine...all very good, sound system was great..roomy..would def. go to that venue again

As always, Bullet For My Valentine played an amazing show Sunday night at The Norva. I have seen them 3 times and every time they get better & better.

A DEF show worth seeing if you are a fan. I have seen them twice before and being so close to them at this Venue was unbelievable! The only downfall to this show was all the children there! I guess I didn't think there would be that many, seeing as how the show was on a Tuesday night in YBOR?! Matt Tuck is supa HOT!!!!!!!! Glad I was able to be so close Thank you Bullet for being one of the BEST bands around in awhile!

Got to see Bullet again and still can't believe that they played in such a small venue. Loved that they did & was able to be close. Loved every song & they sounded amazing. They were never off a key or a note at all. They are a band that should not be missed live.

Bullet was fantastic! Beyond expectation. Can't wait until October

Amazing show !! While She Sleeps did a great opening , Asking Alexandria was awesome , as was Bullet for my Valentine !!! They had amazing live sound and did not dissapoint at all . All bands did a great job of hyping the crowd to rock as hard as possible . Best mosh pit action ive seen in years !!!! This was my first time seeing all three bands and it definitely will not be my last !!!

My 1st Bullet for My Valentine show, having been a fan for 10 years and I was not disappointed! Perfect setlist, both Matt & Jamie had perfect vocal performances and the guitar solos from Matt & Padge..naturally, face-melting. The energy was so high in the room, BFMV were really feeding off the crowd's energy & the crowd just kept on giving it their all. BFMV ended the night with Waking The Demon & I couldn't have asked for a better end to such a perfect performance. The metal was strong in the room that night! After the show, met Jamie & Matt and they were the nicest people, signing my ticket & taking a photo.

It was such a good lineup. Just the last two performances would have been good enough, but there were 4. Weather was perfect, and crowd was really into it.

I brought my 13 yr. old daughter came to see Black Veil Brides and I brought my brother for his birthday to see Bullet for My Valentine....The whole concert rocked, met a secret prospective band from Providence. Captured a bunch of memorable photos as we were stage left front. State theatre is a great place to go for a concert.

One of the best shows i have seen so far.Bullet was my favorite of the night but throw the fight was amazing also so did black veil brides,stars in stereo was not that good compare to the other 3.Overall and incredible night.

There were two smaller known bands (Throw the Fight and Stars in Stereo) that opened up great. Then Black Veil Brides came on and livened the crowd. The atmosphere was amazing. Bullet For My Valentine was phenomenal. It's a day I'll never forget.

I drove my daughter and her friend almost 3 hours to see Black Veil Brides in St. Louis on Oct. 11th, and it was awesome! The venue and show exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to seeing BVB there again.

I had been looking forward to this concert for like two months and it definitely did not disappoint! Throw the Fight and Stars in Stero were new bands for me and they killed it, then Black Veil Brides and Bullet for My Valentine blew me away. It was by far the best concert I've been to thus far.

I was in the front row for most of the show, so it was pretty awesome. I caught a bunch of the bands stuff. However, there were some people there that sort of put a damper on my experience.

Freaking awsome!!!!!! I want to see them again! This was my first concert and I got to see my 2 favorite bands and two more slightly unknown bands who also rocked the stage!

All bands played well! Black veil brides and bullet for my valentine put on an awesome show! Getting to meet bullet for my valentine and watch them back stage is unforgettable!

This was the first show I have been to in a really long time that I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed all 4 bands that played. Stars in Stereo, Young Gunz, Halestorm, and Bullet for My Valentine all put on incredible performances and really rocked the house. I can't wait to see all these guys again.

Hands down, most fun I ever had at a show. Crowd surfing, mosh pits, discovering new bands. It was awesome. Stars in Stereo opened up with a bang covering Aerosmith's Dream On, Young Guns kept the party rolling jumping into the crowd, Lzzy Hale and Halestorm rocked in one if the best performances I've ever seen, and Bullet finished of by melting the faces off of everyone in the crowd. It's gonna be hard to top this show in my opinion.

I/we have waited since 2008 to see Bullet For My Valentine and it was well worth it. I won't forget this show anytime soon. First, I had no idea who the first opening band was but I was very impressed with them (Stars In Stereo). Comparable to Halestorm but not quite as polished yet but as a new band they have good potential. The second band (Young Guns)...well, I've seen them before as an opening act and I'll keep my opinion of them to myself as not to offend. Then the show started heating up! Halestorm!! This was my second time seeing them and they never disappoint. The band was tight, the performance was stellar and Lzzy was beautiful as always. I must say this because I've always told everyone I meet...the first time I saw Halestorm I hung out with them after the show got to kiss Lzzy!! That in itself is unforgettable to me. OK, on with the show. Bullet For My Valentine blew the roof off! Literally, by the time the show was over we had tiny pieces of the ceiling in our hair and on our clothes! Matt's voice was spot on like it was right off the record, Jay growled and screamed his way through his parts, Moose pounded the drums like he was killing them, and Padge ripped his way through every song like a hot knife through butter. Plus he seemed to be enjoying himself more than anyone. He would smile and make faces at my son who is 13 and even gave him his pick at the end of the show! I'm sure my son will not forget that. There are only two things that I wish they did/didn't do. First, I REALLY would have liked to hear "Forever And Always", one of my favorite slow ones from them, which by the way should have been a huge radio hit! Second, Bullet used the same Orchestral piece for their into as Ozzy has used for decades. That disappointed me because I love them both but Bullet is a huge band in their own right and I didn't think they should have to use that to get attention as an intro. But don't let that discourage anyone from going to a Bullet For My Valentine show. If you are a fan at all you will not be disappointed!! Check out my few pics below. Quite possibly the best show I've been to, all the bands were amazing, especially BfmV. Young Guns and Halestorm were perfect, and great warm-up bands to Bullet. So much fun, definitely wanna come back.

Waited in line for 7 hours..we were the first people there. Second time I've been to this venue and I'm always satisfied here. The first 2 bands were ehh. Halestorm was awesome as usual. I came to see Bullet though and like always, we got our faces melted! It was the 7th time seeing Bullet and I loved every second of it. They are simply ELECTRIC!

An amazing show at an amazing venue. All the bands were great not just playing great music, but also having a great stage show. The only problem I encountered was a personal one, (a crowd surfer kicked my glasses off), but I would definitely recommend going to this tour and going to this venue. Four awesome bands for the price of one

This show was SO good! From a photographers stand point, The Myth staff were so awesome to work with. Very clear on direction, weren t pushy or intimidating, absolute pros and did their job well.

First time seeing Bullet and I was very impressed! They sounded just as good live as on their albums. Awesome music & lyrics! And personable to the crowd. Only thing I wish was to be able to pay more attention to them play and not worry about getting hit by a foot (or other body part) in my face from fellow crowd surfers. Very talented artists! So glad they came to Michigan! Great job guys! We love you!

This was my 4th time seeing Bullet and by far the best! I had never heard stars in stereo before but now I'm in love with them too! The crowd was amazing and Full of energy. Halestorm rocked hard - I loved Arejay's drum solo and Lzzy on the keyboard for "Breakin in" then joining Matt for "dirty little secret" this was by far the best concert I've been to! Can't wait for bullet to come back to the Philly area!

Every band was very talented. The venue has horrible sound and should work on fixing it. I have seen the bands at other ensues and their sound quality was a hours and times better!!

Fantastic live band, that even though their music is complex sounds great. Thanks again for rocking nyc (missed you Trivium). Energized fun crowd that added to the experience and were respectful as well!

I was happy to see all 3 bands and they all did great plus stage ae has great acoustics and sound. trivium brought down the house and I was especially happy bullet played some old and new stuff and they kept the energy going right up until the last second I will be getting tickets next time they come back

stage ae was awesome! inside the venue was great. we had the vip meet n greet. everything was great. they put on a great show. was wonderful to meet down to earth guys.

Bullet has a new album out and they started the show off with 2 new songs. The crowd was into them,however when they played some classic songs,everyone went wild. They played about 15 songs and for about 75 minutes. Trivium was direct support and they were excellent. They played for 50 minutes and I wish it could have been longer. Toothgrinder was the opening band and they pretty good. This is a very good show to see with 3 good bands..

Awesome show!! TRIVIUM was the better of all the bands. Toothgrinder was pretty damn good too! Bullet for my Valentine we're tight but didn't have the raw power that Trivium brought. BfmV did great for EmoMetal.

They were both amazing! I will be looking forward to seeing them again. We also got to meet two of the Bullet for my Valentine band mates. They were the sweetest guys!

I would recommend seeing BFMV & Trivium if the chance presents is self!!!

This concert was Awesome!!! Toothgrinder was a great opening band and Trivium was great getting the crowd fired up for Bullet for my Valentine. This was a VERY good show and would definitely attend a future show of any of thebands.

As always Bullet for my Valentine rocked! Trivium and Toothgrinder was equally impressive.. The venue ( Aura) in Portland Me was nice my first time there. Love the bars on every level, security was a little too many but kept the crowd well under control, a little too much but still had a great time! And will go back.

What a fantastic show! Started by the opening act Toothgrinder! Never seen them before, very entertaining, and sounded great! Even crowd surfed haha. Trivium was great as always, and bullet for my valentine was amazing! Seen them tons before, but the Aura venue is so amazing! No matter where you are you are so close to the talent!

All the bands that day were really awesome ! unforgettable experience, I would so go again!!

Great, fun concert! The bands played a good selection of their hit songs, and got the audience to sing and jump along! The sound mix could use lots of improvement though, since the drums were drowning out the guitars and vocals.

First time seeing Trivium and they were awesome. BFMV were outstanding as always.

This isn't my first time seeing BFMV or Trivium. But it is my first time seeing them in a small venue. They put on a great show! The crowd was hype and had great energy. We will be back to The Fillmore to see them and we will definitely see all three bands again.

First time seeing them play live and though their crowd was "meh" on some parts, they themselves are a great show!

This is an example of how to push back social boundaries. They are a Finish band, and they set the roof on fire better than most American rockers. While I have never been to their concert, I have many friends who have. And I am looking forward to being present at one of their upcoming tours.

I was highly impressed with Bullet for my Valentine. The set list was great. They played lots of old favorites and a few of the songs off the new CD. The sound was great. The band has lots of energy and sounded great. I was very pleased.

B4MV and Asking A. were BAD ASS!! My Boyfriend really likes Cane Hill and was able to sing every song- I didn't know very many of their songs,like a lot of the crowd, which seemed to offend them. Like, too bad! get over it. you have worked so hard to land yourself on a stage in front of an audience. If I could tell them anything it would be "keep your energy up! don't give up because the crowd doesn't know you- if you pour your heart out every song, every note, every time- that's when you become unforgettable and people will leave wishing they had your cd." I felt like they didn't try as hard as they could of. I think if the effort was there I would have become a fan- unfortunately I was not sold.

i like bullet because they played a wide range of songs last night.They played new songs, old songs and even some slower songs.Micheal Pagets solos were amazing.the whole band together is very tight when playing live.not a lot of effects. overall awesome band. GO SEE THEM!!!!!!!

This show was just amazing. All the opening bands were good, especially Chiodos and the atmosphere in the building with everyone chanting "Bullet, Bullet, Bullet..." while waiting for Bullet to come on stage was surreal. Bullet came on and not a person was seated during the whole performance. They played about 12 or so songs, split up pretty evenly b/t all their cd's. They were so full of energy and their interactions with the crowd was awesome. At one point there was 3 pits going at once in the shape of a triangle. I would have to say that this was the best show I have ever seen. If you ever get the chance to see them live, don't even think about it, just go, you will not be disappointed.

I loved the BFMV show at First Ave. in Minneapolis on May 26th, 2010. The venue was really packed, but it just added to the excitement and morale of the crowd. It was honestly the best show I've ever been to.. Bullet really puts on a great performance.
