The show was nicely done. It flowed quite smoothly with each and every performance building to a trembling climax. Third World opened and their expertise and experience left the crowd in awe. Over 40 years in the business and these brothers put it down. This set the stage for all of the other artist who did not disappoint. I was pleasantly entertained. Each segment complimented the whole Positive Vibration of the Concert. I have nothing but respect for the Marley Brothers. They were each captivating. Sharing their message in song. I celebrate the love, honor and respect they showed one another. Thank you for a beautiful and inspiring night. I would definitely attend another concert as this. One Love.

I thought the event was great. The only problem was that there was too much Bass. The bass made it hard to hear the songs. I think the amount of bass wasn't checked to see what it sounded like from the lower audience seats. If I ever get to go to another concert I hope that will be fixed.

Damian was my least favorite of the Marley Brothers... Not anymore. He played a bunch of stuff from his new recording Stony Hill. The recording is so well written and recorded and crosses over to many styles of music. He also played most of his other hits. The energy and vibe was amazing as well as his band of top level musicians. Damian is true to his style while never forgetting where he came from. Bob's spirit lives on through him and the other Marleys. Bob would be very happy at the music offerings from his kids. HOB is a great place to see a show with great sound and very good viewing. I hope to see him again on this tour.

This is the second time I have seen Damian Marley perform at the House of Blues within the last 4 years and both times did NOT disappoint! Damian gave a super energetic performance as did his two female dancers! I could not stop dancing! This artist also mentions real world issues during his show which I find inspiring in today's music industry. This is a performance worth taking the time to see and experience for real!! I also must mention the dining at the House of Blues was awesome as well! Great interior with low lighting and a very delicious menu with reasonable prices. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful. Have been to many shows over the last few years and this one was near the top. It's been a long time since I was at this venue and forgot how great it is. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment, only thing is, I know they might assume there aren't much Jamaicans in vegas, but we are here, they should show love like how they singularly mention other countries from the crowd, so to connect more as most of us brought friends to experience their explosive greatness for the first time.

Damian Jr Gong was fantastic. Stephen Marley, who proceeded Jr Gong was great too. The open air amphitheatre had a nice ambiance to it. Our AAA seats on the ground floor were pretty nice, but I would have bought BBB next time. Parking was sort of a bust, as I had no idea where to go and there were no ushers directing cars. I got pretty lost on SDSU campus. But the show was great, Damian sang a lot of his hits, and a few of his father's hits.

Selassie, Africa, and Bob Marley were only a few of the amazing background images I witnessed at the show! All the artist were amazing and brought the essence of reggae music to the audience that night! To be a fan of Bob Marley simply set chills down my spin when I witness his sons Stephen and Damian! Then to top the cake two of his grandsons, Skip and Jo Mersa, blessed the stage as well. Other reggae greats such as Morgan Hertiage, Black I Am, and Tarrus Riley were joyful sounds to hear!

Damien always puts on an amazing show; so full of his positive energy. Of particular note for me was his opening act, K. Pyramid, who had range of style, of course a positive message and good energy with the crowd. To note, the opening act was at least an hour. I got the impression he extended his set, perhaps due to delays on Damien's end. I don't know, but the set did appear long and he was receiving various signals off stage to likely, continue with another song. Show started at 9:10ish and Damien went on at 10:30pm, but he went til a little after midnight. And both performers performed with great energy. Definitely a good night out.

If you've ever listened to this man's lyrics you'd understand that it's not just feel good and dance music. He gives us the much-needed food for thought, leads us to stand up for what is good and melodic guidance to stand in our personal and righteous truths. Like Marvin Gaye who asked us "What's Going on?" and sang the woes of the "Troubled Man," ALL of Damian's song speaks to the greater parts of you and dares you to stand up in that. Yes, of course, he's gorgeous and of course, he sounds AMAZING, the production on this album is superior and he could EASILY be compared to some of the greatest rap lyrists and poets of our time, but it's also important music. Nail Pon Cross is a warning and Jamrock is the beloved ode to his home Jamaica, encouragement from songs like Road to Zion and the tease of being allowed to shampoo those beautiful locks from Beautiful are why he is special, a fine piece of mind and a pleasure to watch. Thank you, Damian and Belasco Theater for allowing me to double the pleasure!! A fan since 1992, my review is unfair because I think so highly of him and even after meeting him once, his kindness and aura surpasses what I've imagined...

I love Damian Marley. His first album is amazing. I love Welcome to Jamrock too. He sounded great, looked hot and played at least 2 hours. My issue is that he only played 2 songs from the oldest album and 4 or 5 from Jamrock. He did way too many songs from the Nas album and too many covers of his dad. I love Bob but enough people cover him including the Wailers and most his sons. I saw Damian years ago and he played both my favorite albums. I like his mellow and prettier songs. This gig was very militant .

We were sent an email stating that the doors would be opening an hour later and unfortunately did not have access to our email until we were already en route to the show. So we had to wait one hour in line plus another hour before the opening act begin then another two hours before the headliner We were told the delay was due to the band going sightseeing in Los Angeles!!!!!! This is totally unacceptable. Especially for general admission where everyone is on their feet !!!!

I was very excited to see him perform but I think perhaps it wasn t as organized as it could have been? First, I received an email hours before the show informing me that the doors would now be opened at 8 pm instead of 7 as printed on the tickets. Ok, no biggie. We get into the venue around 8:45 and the opening act is in full swing. (Great opener btw) set ends probably around 9:30 and Damian didn t get on stage until 11. Maybe it s just me but I appreciate artists that take the stage in a timely, punctual and professional manner. Anyway, crowd is pretty pumped by the time he makes it on stage and he does a hell of a job performing and getting the crowd amped. His rendition of Exodus was awesome and one of the highlights of the night for me. Another highlight? The 2 dancers on stage. Man, those girls were so good and I enjoyed watching them do their thang. Overall, the show was very entertaining and lively but I just wish that he could have started his set earlier especially considering it was a Wednesday and some folks got to get up early the next day. First concert I ve been to that made me feel old. Haha

Marley brothers were fabulous: exciting, engaged and worth every penny of the asking price. On the downside the sound mix at the SDSU Aztec open air stadium was horrible: not fitting the talent. Truly loved Morgan Heritage opening act-terrific vocalist; once again, lousy mix too much bass..

Let me start by giving Tarus Riley and Morgan Heritage their due respect and prompts. After their performances it was all downhill. I love the Marley's, but their performance was lacking. Too long between sets gave the concert an amateurish feel. And... why did they put on that little child to tell us to "Whine up our waists?" Didn't feel comfortable with that. The line up could have also included some younger artist to bring in more young folk. A mixture is good. Diverse reggae artists and talent. It is an annual event for me and my family and friends and we have been going for about the past for years. This year has been by far the worst. We don't want to loose the concert from Philadelphia so it would be a good idea to step it up. Long lines at the food vendors (on top of the hill) has always been a problem. More vendors or vendors prepared to handle that crowd would be and improvement. We look forward to attending the concert each year. However, it appears to be deteriorating. Let's step it up and highlight the culture and talent of Jamaican and reggae music.

My wife & I loved the show. Music was fantastic and met our expectations. However the play list could be improved. I like Bob Marley, but I wanted more Damian & Stephen. Sad that 10k Chariots or One Cup of Coffee were not played. I believe I counted 4 Bob songs and was disappointed not because I don't like Bob, I do, but playing Bob songs just like Bob is not what I was hoping for. The Fillmore venue was not very good though. The sound quality wasn't what I'd hoped for and was standing only. That's a long long time to stand. The show would have been much better if at another venue.

The venue was great the crowd was awesome and the performers were unforgetable. I cannot wait until the next time they are in town. I will definitely be going back! Seriously one of the best concerts I have been to.

Disappointed in the concessions at LC Pavilion. Pop was warm. Bathrooms were yucky. Loved the show and atmosphere. Wish Damien would have done Road to Zion.
