Grupo Niche

when I got to the place,the were no line outside waitting to go in,so I thought the place was goin to be empty,but when I got in,oh surprice!!! it was allready almost full ...that I couldnt get to the dance floor,the music was good it was full of beautifull girls,even know I was with my girl..I got to see nice legs and faces....lol,I wouldnt ever have thought the event was goin to be that good!!

Thank you BB King for bringing one of my favorite groups to NYC !!! The intimate setting of BB King allows for interaction between the audience and the live groups... Grupo Niche as always, professional and fabulous...

A must see for all those who love to Dance or Listen to Salsa music!

All singers were great, but the best was EL CANARIO. JOSE ALBERTO. We making plans for next year event. A must do.

My husband and I spend the weekend celebrating our wedding anniversary/fathers day at Trump Taj Mahal. He is not a die hard salsa fan like i am but after attending the salsa explosion on saturday he totally loved it!!! It was the best weekend and our seats ar the Arena were fantastic.

All I can say is it was EXCELLENT from start to finish! Looking forward to next year!

It was overall great, except that Tito Rojas, n el Groupo Niche, could've played more songs. That was the only disappointed. Overall it was spartaular.

Salsa Explosion was great! Non stop salsa from beginning to end. Nice trip back to eighties and nineties. Definitely a must see for salsa lovers!

The place was too big. Music sounded very far and most of the chair where empty. Totally disappointed waist of time and money!

Grupo niche was great. They were supposed to begin at 10pm and I was planning to be home by 1am, but 3 hours later still getting ready. They stared at 1:00 am by them my babysitter had to go home so I stayed only for few songs, not fear because I paid to be in the concert. I m very disappointed after making a big effort to be able to go see them.

Wonderful time, great music. The band was amazing and played their hits.

Had a great time - Grupo Niche was wonderful but started playing too late - almost at midnight. By then there were a lot of drunk people in the place. They played their second set at around 2:30 am. Overall a great show but unfortunately the show run too late. Facility was ok - need more tables for this type of event and better organization.

Good, maybe a little longe the intermission to allow people to take break for restroom.

They are an authentic and outstanding band. They have been around for a long time. But still playing great music. Small venue. Great show.

This is the second time i have been to see them at the HOB. The venue is excellent. always clean and well organized. It's never HOT with so many people. Grupo Niche is still at it and entertaining as ever.

I liked this event alot. Their music is always great. It started on time but honestly it was way too short. I was home by 10:30.

Grupo Niche was the best outgoing band ever!!! I had such a great time watching and dancing to there songs thru the whole entire night!!! I love them!! 2 thumbs up!!!

Grupo Niche is without doubt the best Colombian salsa band. Their energy on stage, their charisma, their kindness with their fans and of course, their voices and their sound is espectacular. Even though they don't have the popularity from the past, they keep being heard in every single latin party, and listen to them live is a great experience where the only thing that matters is the necessity of your body to dance every song. The time wasn't enough!!! The venue (B B King) is becoming my favorite, it has this personal feeling and sound..however, the service is good but I know they're trying to be attentive but it's very annoying to hear the waitress every 5 min! Do not miss the chance to see Grupo Niche!

Great sounds from both bands, though I was a little disappointed since I thought that Wlli Chirino was the headliner. He not only played first, but only played for an hour. I was glad to hear him but I was disappointed he didn't play longer. I still gave the music 5 stars, but the venue only 4 stars. Primarily because of the ripoff pricing on drinks; $17 for a glass of wine?

My hubby and I are from Curacao and we had an amazing time at this event. Good performance, excellent music sound and a great show of Grupo Niche. In April 2017 we went to the Gilberto Santa Rosa event in NJPAC and that was also amazing. Highly Recommended!!

The venue was beautiful. The sound quality excellent. The show was truly engaging.

My wife and I had a date night and Grupo Niche was all it was built up for and more these guys were amazing they performed a great number of their hits for 2 hours truly amazing !

I loved this show was fantastic I bought these tickets for my father and I we were in front row and got to meet the artists and the performance as well as meeting them made it a night I won't forget. The location of the place as well the audience were cooperated . As a colombian and Hispanic person I can say this concert represent the beautiful culture and music

Hi I just read only two review, and we don"t have to write much. Disaster for making us wait for so many hours throwing our whole agenda in jeopardy. We paid to see Grupo Niche NOT a DJay although Son de Canei played nice but why do we have to wait for so many hours to see Grupo Niche. We had to leave the show due to fatigue. Niche played well. We enjoyed them very much. Unfortunately, we waited over 2 1/2 hrs until they got stage. The opening act was okay - not very good at all - even the opening band began after a hour of waiting, as well (they were not announced)! However, our preference would have been to see Grupo Niche without an opening act. DJs from Rumba kept repeating the same questions and appeared limited in their interactions with the public, as we were growing impatient with the delay of the concert and began shouting "Niche".

Performance started at 9pm. Arrived at Hard Rock at 9:30 to have to listen to the radio DJ until 10pm. From 10pm to a little past 11pm, the opening act played. They were great, but we went to see Niche. Not Son del Cabei. Extremely disappointed in the management of the event and the lack of respect for the audience members. I took my boyfriend with me to share with him some of my Colombian culture - to only leave disappointed at little past 11pm. I couldn't bare to stay any longer in the event that the group never came out. HR management should have come out and said that the band was running behind or something. If I wanted to attend a disorganized music event, I would have done so at a regular Latin night club or back home in Colombia - I expect that if an event begins st 9pm, it should start at the time indicated. The fact that we arrived at 9:30pm showed that we already understood that cultural and organizational values for promptness were not expected, but they were also not expected to be completely devoid in the organization and management of the event - HR, Grupo Niche, 98.1 Salsa - the people were there and were chanting to see Niche - not listen to radio DJs and an opening act for a ridiculous amount of time.

Wow! Amazing salsa! Danced the night away. Our seats were great and the sound quality was top notch. Would like a little more dancing space.

Niche was outstanding. My only complaint is that they showed up late. However that maybe the club's rules.

I've always listened to Grupo Niche since I was young. I finally got to see them perform and must say their performance was awesome!! They enjoyed singing as well as interacting with the crowd, which was dancing and out of their seats nearly the entire show. It was an awesome night and I can't wait for their next performance in the tri-state area. I would definitely recommend attending their concerts. Please show them support.

I had to listen for almost an hour a terrible and noise band before the Grupo Niche I paid for started the show almost 9 pm (1 hour late). The Grupo Niche was fantastic, as always, they performed very well. Unfortunately all the enjoyment was damaged by several rude people that thought I paid $70 to watch their back, dancing on my side and filling all the emergency exits paths. I asked security to do something about it but they were useless. They told me they could not do something about it.

This was the first time I have attended a concert for Grupo Niche - they were fantastic! They had a lot of energy and were really great! would go see again!

Great music and they are very entertaining to watch. The energy they bring to the stage is amazing!

The concert wasn't so good like I was expecting. The reasons are: -Short time presentation, less than 90 minutes. -Sometimes the orchestra play well, but sometimes play so bad. In some songs like mi pueblo natal,ana mile ,...... .were terrible. -I think that need other singers, like Charlie Cardona. -I think that the Director is not the best. -They are using the name of Jairo Varela to maintain the popularity but the orchestra is going down.

The show was excellent.the musicians gave 100% the choice of musiv was excellent old and new. The public did respond well.

Concert was too short. Music started 30 mins late and concert was only 1 1/2 hours. Auditorium was very nice place.

It was a great concert. We love them. We had a great time. Parking was easy and free. every seat it is great in this place

I am an Anglo 64 year old musician who has been playing all genres of music professionally since 1962. I have attended 100's of concerts of famous acts during my lifetime as a fan of many genres of music. I LOVE latin music of all kinds and Grupo Niche has been my favorite Salsa band for years. Their concert at the HOB was the most exiting musical experience I have ever had! They were spectacular in every respect. The quality of music, set-list, musical performance, choreography, musicianship of the band, vocal ability, pace of the performance and sound system was unsurpassed. HOB was the perfect forum for their performance and the box office and staff treated me so well. I had purchased Standing Room tickets but I upgraded to loge seats. If we are lucky enough to have Grupo Niche back next year, you can be certain that I will be there in the same seats. I drove from Bradenton and spent the night over in Orlando. I left that concert feeling electrified!!!

Wow! These guys made the floor dance and sing! We had a great evening, dancing along and it was just awesome!

I love salsa dancing and my lady is from Colombia, the sound, choreo, crowd and atmosphere were amazing! Wish i could have caught the Charlotte event!! My gal cried at one point because they reminded her of home.

for the price of ticket, only getting an hour and half of concert for a group that is not even that famous .... just not Worth it .

This event was well planned. Organized and clean. They sang classics and I loved every second of it. I'd go again!!!!! If you haven't seen Grupo Niche or visited Ritz in Raleigh, you're missing out!

I had no idea they were coming to town but i learned about it from my aunt. Being Colombian and watching them on stage this time was super rewarding. granted they played mostly the romantic songs but they still brought it with Cali Pachanguero
