For Carol Burnett fans, this is a not miss. She showed clips from her show, that were hilarious -- we laughed till tears came down our faces. She also answered questions from the audience. It was just a wonderful, pleasant and hysterical experience.

Carol had the audience laughing from start to finish. She was delightful - open, honest, sharp and on her game! It was great seeing an icon live, on-stage and clearly in her element! While the audience could have asked better questions of her - we totally enoyed our evening with Carol!

The theater was packed with middle-age and older folk, but there were a surprising number of the very young. Carol's DVDs appear to have generated new fans. The display of clips from the shows was a little unexpected, but added a lot of value. The Q&A format needed them to bring back the old images of Carol while she was talking to us. Would I go again? I don't think so - I have a lot of DVDs.

I like the idea of the Q&A but was still expecting an evening of laughter. Though I did laugh at the out takes from her shows, the actual evening with Carol was not that entertaining. At least not for the price I paid.

I was so pleased to have a chance to see Ms. Burnett. Many of us spent a lot of hours watching her in The Carol Burnett Show and it was fun to relive some of that through the clips she brought, which were amazingly funny after all these years. I guess that's what made her show so special...it was comedy about things we all could, then and now, relate to. I was equally impressed with how many audience members she had touched over the years, some she had actually interacted with, often quite briefly, and others just because she has been so open about her life's challenges. Her interactions with the youngest members of the audience were especially touching. Precious moment - When a 5 year old asked her what her favorite colors were and, after saying red, because it's so bright and cheerful, and yellow, like the sun, she asked the girl what color her dress was, to which she replied quite emphatically "Pink." Ms. Burnett said "Well, pink is on of my very favorites!" and the little girl said "Me too!" It was genuine. I laughed and remembered and it was just plain fun. I'd definitely recommend for those who spent some part of your life with Carol --- as Carol or Eunice or Scarlett or,,,,,,,,

Carol Burnett is as entertaining now as she as ever been. Her show incorporates a look back at her old shows, which is nostalgic and funny. Then Ms Burnett talks to the audience and gives a whole new show. It was an unforgettable evening of laughter and fun!

Though I love Carol Burnett and have always enjoyed her work and appreciate her contributions to society and the entertainment world, the show itself was a lot of reflection through older videos of her shows and special moments in her "hey-day". Though she is an entertainer and comedian, there was very little of that. The show was almost entirely of her asking questions of the audience. Yes, I am aware this is her "moniker" so-to-speak, but when those in the audience were chosen, almost all would spend some time expressing their thanks for her and sharing more about how they connect with her before they would finally ask a question. All in all, it was great to see her live. However, the show itself was pretty flat and few areas that were actually laughable. Mostly just her chatting with the audience and video reflections. The next thing you know, 90 minutes were up and that was it.

complete waste of time and money. all it was Q&A. she ran a couple clips that are on TV when they try and sell the videos on the screen and just answered questions for an hour and a half. I wouldn't do it for free and everybody else I talk to you felt the same way

I've always thought Carol was the epitome of class. I never missed one show in her 11 year run; some were funnier than others of course, but always the mainstay of my Saturday nights. Her quick wit and remarkable timing were always spot on. Her performance Friday night was wonderful. l'd have liked to see more clips from the shows but what we saw brought back the memories of those years. We've all seen them on YouTube, for sure, but to have them narrated and presented by the one and only, made them even better. My husband was able to ask her a question (regarding her and Julie Andrews work at Carnegie Hall....and yes, we know all the words, all the schtick, all the songs...) and l loved his reaction when she spoke to him and addressed him by name. I do wish that CBS would release "Julie and Carol at Carnegie Hall" on DVD because my YouTube copies are getting very difficult to sell. Ha! Carol....if you read these....thank you over and over again for those times together...to have a laugh or sing a song....and thank you SO SO much for the opportunity to see you live Friday night - for THAT time together. We love you Mike and Carlos

Carol is always fantastic, a professional's professional. The best part was the audience Q&A. The clips were mostly repeated from her recent 50th Anniversary show on CBS. I wish the Q&A was longer, and I would have really enjoyed a skit or two with younger improv actors/comedians. She could have also worked in some material from her upcoming Netflix show! We love you Carol and wish you the best with your tour and upcoming projects!

I had a feeling being in the room with a comedic genius was going to be amazing, I just didn't realize HOW amazing! Carol showed classic clips from her variety show, regaled the audience with fantastic stories and took as many questions from the audience that she could. I was sad to see the night end. I also loved the fact they didn't allow any photo taking during the show. It really was an incredible night!!

Don't waste you time or money on this show. Carol Burnett is a very funny, talented person, but this show was nothing more than a mass gathering to watch YouTube clips. You want my money? Fine, but put SOME effort into your presentation. I wasn't expecting an Elaine Stritch-esque, one-woman spectacular, but give me something to work with. A scripted, disingenuous, and disappointing evening.

Carol was only on stage for 90 minutes and about 30 minutes of that was video clips. Almost every story that she told can be found in her new book. We paid $175 face value to sit in the orchestra and it seemed like it was over with before it started. Buy the book. Don't spend so much money for such a short time.

Having "grown up" with Carol Burnett on television, I wondered if the "magic" created on her weekly variety television show was still there considering she is now "83." It was a joy seeing Ms. Burnett in person. She took questions from the audience and nothing was off limits. She's still "quick" and can come back with snappy replies. The audience was either on their feet applauding or in tears laughing and I'm glad I had the opportunity to spend an evening at this venue, which is, by the way, incredible! As far as I can tell, there's not a bad seat in the house and we had a perfect unobstructed view. If you have opportunity to see her live, then please DO! It was refreshing to laugh without someone being "crude' or "vulgar." Carol Burnett is truly an American Icon!

Her show is a celebration of her TV show. They show bits from the show throughout. Carol tells stories and answers questions from the audience. When the show was over, I felt as if I had just had a great evening hanging out with her and watching some of her favorite clips. It really felt that intimate. She still creates a special bond with an audience.

It was great to see this legend at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. Carol Burnett is gem. She made us laugh as we reflected upon the years of her show in clips. Two of the clips she showed will go down in history - the scene with Harvey Korman and Tim Conway as the dentist and Carol as Scarlet in "Went with the Wind". We watched her as we were growing up and to see her live and relive those days was incredible.

The evening with Carol Burnett was totally awesome. She is a beautiful lady who enjoys her audience and can really connect with them. A few film montages of some of the best sketches from her show, but mostly it was Carol interacting with us. She answered questions and she reminisced about her life during the show. In the field of comedy, no one comes even close to her. Beloved since my childhood, I truly enjoyed seeing her onstage.

No acting, just talk and showing old skits on a movie screen (all of which we'd seen before). Yes, they were funny. It would have been much better if she had had a costar or two with her. The show was about what you'd expect from a star that old.

Loved the clips from old shows as well as her taking questions from the audience. She is amazingly spry and quick witted for being in her 80's. Loved her stories about different episodes and what happened behind the scenes. Also her compilation of past actors and actresses. Great memories! Great night!

I took my Mom as an early birthday present because Ms. Burnetts show was a Saturday night staple in our house when I was growing up and she did not disappoint! She stayed on stage for almost 90 minutes and could have stayed another 2 hours and no one would have cared! The show clips she brought were hilarious and brought back so many wonderful memories of when television shows were really entertaining and not filled with crudeness and filthy language. I would defiantly recommend this show to anyone of any age and would love to see it again!

I grew up watching the Carol Burnett Show. This was such a great show. Listening to her answer questions from the audience, the clips that she showed. It was so great to see all the wonderful movie stars - many who are no longer with us. I had a very nice time last night with Carol Burnett. There were lots of questions that were interesting and lots of tid bits of video explaining her whole career. Luckily nobody asked dumb questions but one person. Our show nobody asked for a hug or an autograph but one person asked where she lived and what hotel she was staying at. She explained everything from the Twilight Zone episode she was in to she will be back on t.v. with Amy Pollar. Over all it is worth spending the money but for only 90 minutes I am glad I bought the less expensive tickets.

Anytime you can say you were in the same room with Carol Burnett, well, that is a good time. The performance was very short and laced with clips from her show. Everyone enjoyed seeing those 'best of' moments but it did seem very short. We do understand that she is in her 80's and so would definitely recommend buying tickets to this event.

Was really looking forward to the show, as it was a birthday present to me. Although it was fantastic to see the legend Carol Burnett in person, the show was a bit disappointing in the fact that it was more of a 90 minute Carol takes questions session with a few moments of some videos interspersed. My expectations were that there would be more clips of skits from the Carol Burnett Show and less talking. That was quite the opposite. Also, there was no close circuit camera on Carol, so we just saw her figure from afar with no clear face shot on a larger screen. Bottom line: I enjoyed the show but I didn't love it as much as I had hoped I would

I bought these tickets for my mother and me, as a gift for Mother's Day and our birthdays. My thought was that at 80 years of age, who knows how long Carol Burnett will still be performing...we may never get another opportunity. Am I glad that I got these tickets! Carol was hilarious, gracious, and a class act. She interspersed video clips from her variety show that seemed to enhance, not detract from the show. The whole audience roared with laughter throughout the show. Carol is in good physical shape and is just as sharp as ever. I would say she doesn't look any older than she did 20 years ago. If anyone gets the opportunity to see Carol in person, they should take it!

If you're a die-hard Carol Burnett fan, you will leave this event being glad you came. Otherwise, you are bound to be a little disappointed and feeling like you didn't get your money's worth. This is not a stand-up event or one that even involves much interaction. As one reviewer stated, " it was more a walk down memory lane with a legend." and I think that sums it up perfectly. The entire event lasted about an hour and 45 minutes and about 25-30 of that was spent on actual audience questions. As many other reviewers have noted, most of the questions I heard were not questions, but expressions of fandom and requests for autographs and hugs-but that's not Carol's fault. Had the audience been more engaging and less needy, I'm sure that would have improved the experience but she did the best she could and was gracious to autograph seekers. The rest of the night was spent with clips from old shows and stories that almost all came out of her book "Laughter and Reflection." If you've read that book and seen her show-whether in syndication or originally-then you've seen a good majority of this event and I would advise you to save your money. But if seeing Carol in person is something that will mean a lot to you, by all means go. She was engaging, kind and funny and in fantastic shape-mentally and physically-for 80 years old! No, the majority of the material was not new and certainly not off the cuff, but die hard fans will be glad they went and saw her.

Without a doubt, one of a kind entertainer...Carol Burnett is a world class act. Our family enjoyed watching her shows. We need more TV entertainment like her in our world today.

The show was just wonderful. She simply talked to the audience - answered questions - and had very funny answers completely off the cuff. She shared clips from her variety show which were hysterical, and told stories of the regulars and guest stars. She comes across as very down to earth. Would recommend this for anyone who is a fan!

I thought that the show would be in the similar format as her CBS show and it was. Some of the questions were inappropriate, but that happens when there is no screening device.
