Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band

Ever since I first heard Bob I just had to go to one of his concerts but being in New Zealand it is a bit harder to get to one. So when he did the 2014 -15 tour I took a weekend off to to go to one. Arrived in LA on the Thursday, went to his concert on the Friday then flew back home on the Saturday 36 hours return from my home town. The only thing I did wrong I should have stayed a week to go to at least 3 of his concerts. From the moment Bob came on the stage I was in heaven. I just couldn't get enough of him. The lighting, his backing vocals, the band his singing and the energy he put into the performance was to say the least amazing. I just wish he would come to New Zealand for a tour.

Started on time!! Lighting and sound were spot on, not overwhelming. Nancy Wilson opened with her new band and she included some old Heart music as well as some off the debut album of Roadhouse Royale. Seger opened with Roll Me Away and the crowd was mesmerized. We rarely sat down and the whole house rocked and sang along. 2 encores, stuff off all his old albums and one off his new one. I would DEFINITELY see him again if he gets anywhere close to NW PA! Sure hope he tours again - get out & support this legend!

The concert was great - Bob and his band put on a excellent show.

The first show of the tour was AWESOME!!! Never had the pleasure of seeing Seger in concert before but I certainly hope it won't be the last. The opening act was not that great but I think I was just waiting for the main event. If the rest of the shows are like this one everyone is in for a treat!

Best concert we have seen in quite sometime. Bob sure can belt out all our favorites. Excellent show a must see for all to see. He s sure is 1 old rocker that still has got the groove! Keep on a rockn Bob. Thanks Toledo for building a nice facility that will bring the big names back to the Glass City. That is cool all the citiies on the tour Toledo sells out (2) shows!!

Wishing Bob would come to Charlotte or Greensboro on a different day. Apr 23rd is the day before Easter Sunday and couldnt make it to Greensboro. Gonna Miss the concert for a little family time. This was definetly a hard decision to make. I have seen Bob in concert the last two times he come to North Carolina and REALLY enjoyed it. Hope to see him the next go round. Have a Good time guys for the ones that are gonna make it.

I have seen Bob Seger 3 or 4 times and I have never been disappointed in any of his shows. The last time out we saw him in Saginaw, Michigan and he absolutely brought the house down. When he took the stage, Bob Seger owned the venue and it only got better with with the rest of the Silver Bullet Band at his side.

We saw him during his last tour and he still rocks!! We saw the Palace show and Cobo. We loved the Cobo show the best, Cobo still has fantastic acoustics. We have main floor in Grand Rapids and can't wait to go and see Bob! I hope there will be Cobo concerts!

I have seen two of Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band Concerts and they were the best concerts I have ever seen. I hope and Pray this tour stops in Memphis Tenn!!!

I loved seeing Seger in the 70s - he rocked every venue/show to the last note. But when I saw him a couple of years ago and I was disappointed. I took my kids hoping they could catch a spark of his previous shows. But, Bob showed up in a t-shirt and ran through the songs like he had somewhere else to go. He looked like he had been working on his car and just forgot he was playing a show that night. Even though the ticket prices are multiple times what they were years ago, the showmanship was missing. There was no synergy. There was no coordination, no jamming. Each musician just played his part and went home. I'll stick to my memories cause the real Bob Seger has apparently left the building. The new one is just doing it for the money.

My all time favorite person to see in concert. I have been to some of the most amazing concerts in my life time, but have never been as excited to see anybody as I am when I get tickets to see Seger. It is a feeling like no other. I see him everytime he comes in concert. Couldn't wait for him to come to Detroit so I am going to see him opening night in Toledo. To my surprise, Ticketmaster released some amazing tickets in section 119 row A, and I was able to get two of them. Thank-you Ticketmaster !!!!!

I've seen Seger & SBB in Balto/DC area, since the late 70's. Been to more concerts i can remember, but Bob is the best by far!! Do Not Miss This Concert!! You will be sorry. I have NEVER been to a show where the fans sing every note to every song, beginning to end. Best memory........Night Moves, lights went down, spotlight on Bob, and the fans were so deep in the moment.....it was mesmorizing!!! Took my breath away, to this day! Can't wait to see him again. AWESOME!!

I have been to too many concerts to count. There are two concerts I saw over 30 years ago that STILL rate as the best shows I've ever been to. One is Santana and the other is Seger. Oddly enough I am not a HUGE fan of either but Seger in concert is a GREAT experience! Based on the reviews here, it would appear he's still got it...

Very first concert working at Peaches Records & Tapes was Bob Seger--free. There was absolutely no way a person could sit and watch--stood the whole night and worth every minute. Have seen him 6 times--maybe more--lost count. One awesome musician as well as band. Went to one of his concerts and the couple next to us sat the whole time--boring! In my younger years, had his poster I got while working for Peaches hanging on the ceiling over my bed!!! If it's the only way I can see and hear him once again--I'll be at the coliseum in Greensboro working this venue. Hopefully, they'll have me somewhere that I can occasionally go in and watch for a song or two!

If you are a fan of straight up Rock & Roll R&B performed Live and in your face, then a Bob Seger concert needs to be on your "Bucket List". NEVER a dull moment. I hope I can make it back from Afghanistan in time to catch the not yet announced Chicago dates for this tour.

I am not sure that even Bob Seger realizes the real impact that his music has had on so many of his fans. I can remember my brother getting a speeding ticket while pumping the gas pedal to Heavy Music. Yes he lost his license for a while. He just couldn't get through to the officer how this could happen. Little did I know that in the early 80's that my husband would walk out the door and leave me with a couple of kids for some sleaze bag. I would play Jody Girl over and over and over. Then all of a sudden I discovered that "Betty Lou's Gettin' Out Tonight" would be my therapy song. I would have the stereo blasting at full tilt playing that song each and every Friday night when the ex would come to pick up the kids. He hated it. I would be doing my happy dance while he squealed out the drive. BOB SEGER always has pulled me up from any slump I was ever in. It is impossible to get down when you play his music. My children and grandchildren always have carried on the tradition. Our family tradition is to do the family dance in the living room to ROLL ME AWAY and they all know that when I die, even if I live to be 100 that it will be a wake with a SEGER jam and that last song played will be THE FAMOUS FINAL SCENE. Thank you Bob for at times saving my life through your wonderful music. I know that people say that they are you're biggest fan but that is not possible. It is me. Again, THANK YOU and SEE YOU IN TOLEDO.

I have seen Bob Seger twice, once each of his last 2 tours, he is a DON'T MISS!! No fancy fireworks or lasers, not needed here, plain ol' great music, great band, awesome lead singer. I have been to many a concert, all types from Usher to Metallica, but none can compare to Seger. No other concert have I been to that each and every person in attendance, and some security too, sang each and every song word for word with full on enthusiasm the entire concert. It is in interactive experience as you make your way through the songs from childhood to adulthood he will bring you full swing. You will leave exhilarated, smiling from ear to ear ,satisfied yet wanting more.

I have been to more concerts than I can remember. I have only seen Seger twice but, he was hands down the BEST artist I have ever seen. His voice is amazing! There is none other who could ever compare to Bob For me. Plan on seeing him at least 2 more times in the coming tour. If you have not seen him, you should go. You will NOT be disappointed.

saw him in Saint Paul, minnesota on the last tour. a must see show, not much special effects but he sings every song you grew up with. hey hes old already, he cant hop around any more.

I am so glad that Bob & SBB has announced touring again! Another opportunity to see 'The Man' with my kids! I have been a fan for as long as I can remember and have raised my girls to appreciate GREAT music! His music has always touched me! The music has always been there. It's seen me through some rough times and made the good times even better. This time around, an older sister is coming along. She hasn't seen him in concert since 1972 when he played at local hotspot in Lima, OH. What a hoot! Keep rockin' and see ya in Toledo!!! (I could only dream of having front row seats!)

I saw him at the DCU Center in Worcester on Jabuary 3th 2007. An absoluteky amazing show from start to finish and he nailed every song. With him coming out again in 2011 I cannot wait!

I went with 5 of my siblings and their spouses/ Roll me away anytime Bob As soon as that first riff is played I am transported back to High School and the happy feeling lasts for weeks. An awesome show. Everything we expected and we were on our feet the whole freakin time.

What a show, what memories, and what music, Bob Seger is fantastic, I first saw him play in Tecumseh, Michigan at one of our High School dances and from that point on. His music was and is a part of my life and my children's, nothing like good old Rock and Roll for a family, I raised my children on R&R and today they also like good music, it is rewarding to watch a person that enjoys what he does, and treats his fans with respect. If you would like to not only see a great show, but to experience what it was like in the 60's and 70's then you must experience the Bob Seger Silver Bullet Spirit. I just cannot say enough good things about Bob and his music, he saw many of us through Vietnam and rough times, along with good times. Long live Rock and Roll, nothing like it, I hope to see you soon Bob, and millions of us are glad to hear that you will be playing once again, sure hope I can be one of the lucky ones and once again be in a front seat.

Yes, you do see the years on the man--but he was having the time of his life doing what he clearly loves to do. Played hit after hit--got all of my favorites. Just a wonderful show.

I ve seen Bob 11 times and he is my #1. First saw him in 06 at the us bank arena on the face the promise tour. The energy he packed that night was awesome. We sat row A side stage it was my dream come true to get that close for one last time at that arena to Bob. Even batting a head cold he put a 120% into the show. Hearing fire inside twice made my night when I first heard it live in Toledo Ohio I had chills running through my body and still got the chills. The only thing I wish he would play is sunspot baby which is one of my favorite s. All in all a great show can't wait for him to play Columbus for my final time to see him .

Bob can still rock out! We went to see Bob Seger at the US Bank Arena on September 21, 2017. He sang most of his older songs and some of his new ones. We will definitely go see him again! We love his music!

Went to the Bob Seger concert in Cincinnati, the dude has it going on still after 50+ years of touring and bringing great songs to his fans. Very awesome show that was enjoyed by all there.

I have seen Bob Seger many times, many years ago, and I was always satisfied . This time was THEE BEST ! He played most of his greatest hits and he is still a crowd pleaser . He was suffering from a head cold but you wouldn't have known if he didn't mention it. He did 2 encores which took his performance over 2 hours . HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT !! The reason for my 3 stars is the acoustics suck at U.S. bank Arena along with everything else about that place , imo . So glad we went and will go again !!

Have been a Bob Seger fan since 1978. This was first concert my wife and I have attended. Played all his songs plus one that was from a new album that will be released in November.

Bob Seger has a voice that is unmistakable, any time you have a chance to see him live you will not be disappointed.

Seger couldn't have picked a better place to start his tour, again! The show was awesome, as usual! Even at 72 yrs young, my daughter even couldn't believe how his voice still sounded like Live Bullet. The show was excellent, and an added bonus.......The Fire Inside, never played before in concert! Never fails to give his all at his performances! Well worth the 3 hour drive up and 3 hour drive home to Columbus. Next, I'll see him in Columbus on the 30th, not sure if it will be as great as tour opener, but we can hope. So, once again, I say, Thank you, Bob Seger! ROCK AND ROLL NEVER FORGETS!

Probably the best concert of his I've been to. Maybe it was because it possibly was his last, or more than likely because you can see he enjoys his shows as much as his audiences. The day he passes..I will wear black for a week. I loved him as a teen and still do now that I'm a grandma.

Saw him in 1980 in London was brilliant then even better now. At 72 his music and voice is timeless. Every song was note perfect. Boston audience were amazing from start to finish Well worth the trip from Glasgow Scotland. Superb way to start a New England holiday. Bob Seger ........Legend

At 72 years old Bob Seger still can work the crowd...His voice is better than ever..His stage presence unbelievable for a guy that's 72 years old..The Silver Bullet Band was phenomenal...Two of them are original band members...Just don't get the chance to listen to LIVE MUSIC like theirs very often anymore...Saw Bob two a ago and was blown away...Thursday night in Boston was even more ENJOYABLE...TWO ENCORES rarely happen these days...Seen Bob Seger twice now and I sure hope I have the opportunity to see Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band a THIRD TIME..

Bob Seger's performance was nothing less than amazing, far greater than I had anticipated given his age of 72! He played most of his classics and his voice sounded the same as it did in the 70's. His vocals were so on point that many of the songs sounded as if they were being played off one of his recordings. I would suggest staying until they turn the house lights on, I saw many people leaving on the false-ending only to miss a few of his classics. The Nancy Wilson pre-show was a must-see as well, especially the power-vocals of the seemingly underappreciated Liv Warfield.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable evening of tremendous Bob Seger hits. His musicians and backup were incredible. It blew me away how good his voice sounded more than 55 years after his first hits. The sound mixing was excellent for the venue. All the voices and instruments were crystal clear. This tour is well worth attending. One downside to the entire event was the audio mixing for the lead-in band of Nancy Wilson. I loved the hits Heart ❤️ created and really wanted to hear her band. But unfortunately I couldn't hear a single word of any song. The sound was over amplified and muddy. After hearing her set I was prepared for total disappointment, but then was amazed when the Bob Seger audio was wonderful. My hearing was okay after all!

Me and a friend flew in from Phoenix for this show. We wanted to see Grand Funk open for Seger and we were not disappointed. Even though Seger is 72, the show was so enjoyable that I would do it again.

We had an amazing time! We took our daughter and her boyfriend and they said that it was the best concert that they had ever been to! We were so glad to be able to share such a great night with them! Bob Seger was incredible!

First show in a while. Musically... They nailed it. They played tight and did not notice any fails. Bob sounded great..... Given that he is 72 and had some tough songs to sing..... Tremendous kudos to his effort and execution. Song selection was great. Totally excited that Accompny Me was played. Good venue. Sat side of stage and sounded was still very good.

Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band put on one great rock-n-roll show at Bridgestone Saturday night. Yo could hear the audience singing along with every song. I cried mostly through the whole show because it was so good to see him. Bob's fans are some of the loyal and loving and it was a night I'll never forget.

This was our 4th Seger concert since 2006 and by far the best. Bob's voice was strong with better range and he seemed to have more fun and energy this time around. We sat side stage (section 110 row F) which turned out to be great seats. He came out and sang facing us several time during the concert not to mention having Alto playing on our side most of the show. Sure hope Bob doesn't hang it up anytime soon. A true legond...!

Bob Seger and the silver bullet band were phenomenal. This was a fantastic show. Even after 40 years Bob still sounds amazing and the band is just as good as well. Would go again if he comes back to the palace of Auburn Hills to break the tie between him and Neil Diamonds 16 sold out show records.

You would never know Bob is a Senior Citizen. Rockin' like it was the 70's and early 80's. His voice sounds amazing. Band rocked. Crowd was happy and dancing from the opening song through the end.

I'm so glad I decided to go to his show before he stops touring for good, it was worth every penny!! He sounded just as good live as his recordings and he created an electricity in the audience. The crowd absolutely loved him and sang the words to every classic Seger song loud and strong. Great experience, Bob is still rocking and I highly recommend seeing his show.

This is the second time we've seen Bob this year. He's wonderful . He sounds just like he always has and he's pretty high energy for someone his age. I recommend going to anyone. There's none of the extra nonsense. Not a lot of lighting or effects just rock and roll.

I have wanted to see Bob Seger in concert since I was 16. When I finally had the chance to go to the Ride Out Tour I was in awwwww!!! It was the best most unforgettable moment of my life. it was my 2nd time in 3 days at a Bob Seger concert! I can't get enough! He is amazing! It is my 4th overall time at his concerts. It was the best seat I ever had! third row right in front of stage! I was in heaven during the entire concert. He is so good. It is all about the music and how he delivers it! I will be sad when he no longer tours! if I could attend a Bob Seger concert every night I would do it!! Love him!!!!

Bob Seger didn't need any backup singers. He had 13,000 fans singing along with every hit--from Like A Rock to Night Moves. I've waited 40 years to hear this guy and he delivered.

Bob really mixed it up this time, New and old!!! Random pick middle of row, that says it all, inconvenient getting in and out, sound was good, almost a straight on with the stage. put a ways back, but the screens helped.

Bob Seger played for 2 1/2 hours plus there was a warm-up act, Clare Dunn, who performed for about 40 minutes. Great energy, fantastic song choices, beautiful lighting. The Silver Bullet Band was amazing, too. The Pinnacle Bank Arena is a great venue for concerts.

This is a little late of a review. I just forgot. But I have been a fan of Bob and the Band for a long time. Lived in Detroit, so it was mandatory. And as Bob would say... We're still the same! They sounded perfect. great energy. They were having fun. And so were we. It was my Birthday, could not have been better. My wife and I were having so much fun we partied all night and we both took the next day off! Great crowd. Perfect...BUY the tickets...you NEED to!

Bob Seger was amazing. He can still rock with the best of them. The atmosphere was like a big party, with everyone dancing. He would have had to play another hour to include all his great songs. Sound could've been better, but it might have been that everyone was loud and on their feet the entire show. The Eagles show did not have sound issue. Truly brought you back to simpler times. Go see Bob Seger! !

Unbelievable musicianship, energy and enthusiasm from Bob and the Silver Bullets. The songs were fresh and made current by the amazing truthfulness of the performance. Bob sang (and played) with guts, heart and soul that made the songs written all those years ago somehow even more poignant and relevant today. And the Silver Bullet Band rocked the house. The rhythm section was skin tight and the horn section was right there with them. And don't get me started on the sax player, he was transcendent, beyond... Congratulations Mister Seger you have managed to rise above any cliche and truly get better with time...

Wonderful concert. A great mix of his classics and new pieces. The man really put it out there; even hits from the sixties were fresh and vibrant. And he has super back-up artists.

After having been to at least one of his concerts on every tour since 1974, Bob Seger still has it better than ever. I sure hope that this isn't his last tour, but I am thinking that it might be. For being almost 70 he still rocks it and his voice is as good as ever. He puts on one hell of a concert and the Motor City horns that he added a few tours back are playing on more songs and they really add to the experience. His back up singers Shaun Murphy and Laura Crammer do more then sing back up and are fun to watch as well and have been with him for a long time, not to take anything away from Barbara, the other ladies just do more. Alto Reed is a delight to watch as he has always been. What an amazing night!

This was my second time seeing Bob Seger in concert- I saw him about seven years before at the MGM Arena, and while that show was great, this show was really better. He seems younger than before, so energized and engaged. And the band- so perfectly dedicated to the Bob Seger sound, and so many of them long time Silver Bullets. This is one of my top five concerts of all time!
