Battle At the Boat

fights were awesome, from what I could see. loved the knocked outs. probably will choose a different venue to attend. was disappointed with my seat.

They don't attract the best talent, but the fighters work hard and put on a good show. The judging was horrific which really takes away from the experience. They don't put any space between the seats so it's quite intimate.

My significant other and I purchased VIP tickets and the seats are close enough so that you get a great view, but far enough from getting hit with sweat. The VIP section was supposed to have its own dedicated server but the waitress is actually serving more than just three rows of VIP seats so service was extremely slow. We bought drinks from the bar, and the server, and both were watered down with ice and soda. We basically spent $15 per drink, each made with Pepsi and a splash of liquor. Overall $110 per seat in VIP wasn't worth it.

We always have a good time at the Battle at the boat events. The prices are reasonable and the fights are awesome. We love watching Vicious Vincent Thompson and enjoy being around his large following! Pretty good set up at the events and overall goodtime!

Had a great time there were 6 fights and 3 were entertaining with kos. I would like to see more well known fighters as main events, other than that a great time.

I have never purchased tickets for the casino before, so wasn't really sure what to expect. I bought the lowest price tickets and expected to be put in the very back. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to be very close to the ring. The only bad experience I had was walking up the long ramp to the entrance through the pillows of cigerette smoke and ash trays piled with cig butts. We were releaved smoking wasn't allowed in that peticular building, but you could definetly smell it when the door was opened. They say the worst non smoker is a previous smoker and that would be me :) Overall it was a fun night!

I love boxing and I was upset to see some of the worst and most boring boxing that I have ever seen. Every match except for one was terrible. The main event was the worst. If I hadn't paid a ton for the tickets, I would have left before the main event was even over. After the first two rounds, everyone including me was yelling about how boring the last match was. There was almost no boxing. It was all dancing. People wonder why boxing is not like it used to be. 18-1 vs 17-0? These guys must have been fighting my grandmother before this bout. We didn't even stay for the decision because they were both losers in my book. Only bigger loser was me for having paid to watch something so terrible. I would rather have been forced to watch a NASCAR, Curling, and Golf marathon than sit through another boxing match like this one. Bring back the Friday Night Fights, put these guys on TV and make them actually throw a punch or two! I was so ready to leave, that the casino didn't even get any of my money afterwards. I just went home and slept off my boredom.

It was my first time ever attending and I had the best time!! I was in row 7 and were great seats. Me personally would have liked the first 2 rows but since it was my first time and I didn't know what it would be like I just went with row 7!! Seemed like any seat was a good seat.

The event was great, I would have loveds to see the female boxers also. I had a great time and will return for the next event

Good matchups on the fight card, only one bad fight. If you are going to fix a fight, make sure the guy who is supposed to lose, doesn't keep looking at his corner to see whether or not he is allowed to hit back yet.

All boxers were amazing, and all of them were very good fights. It was a little hiccup to be seated though because their scanner was not working. We had cell phone tickets/ no paper but had to wait in the line for 10 min to get tickets. They should fix that soon. Otherwise, all staff was very helpful and delightful. Thank you for a fun night. So fun! The Main fight sucked though..no action!!!

Great fights and decent venue with decent seating. The Main event was a bit of a slap and tickle contest but all the other fights were good with no major injuries. It was a good time!

Almost all the fights were decent to great. The only fight that was great was the main event. I have watch Mike fight for the last 4 years and he always improves however, this last fight was the first time I saw Mike been a great discipline boxer. Mike did not fight this last fight but outboxed a much physically stronger boxer. Mike stayed discipline and used distance, moving around the ring and out scoring Thomas Awimbono virtually winning almost every round ( I had Mike winning 99 to 91). Notable fights was Reyes vs Cardenas which is always a enjoyable fight to watch and Andre Keys. Keys shows promising skills and will have to watch how he unfolds as his opennets become greater in skill.

Once again Emerald Queens Casino has put on a great boxing show with a lot if local talent!

Didn't know you could just take the gloves off and call your own fight. Feature fight of the night- not.

All boxers were great.. Very entertaining and will be back again..

All fights leading up to the main event were great. Main event was boring. Not much contact. Fighters seem as if they didn't want to hurt each other.

Battle of the Boat 103, held at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, WA was a professional boxing card of six bouts, with plenty of non-stop action, with a couple of knock-outs, including the hometown favorite in the Main Event. Great entertainment!

Very entertaining fights. Matchmaker did a good job bringing in some entertaining fighters. Always a good boxing show at the Emerald Queen.

Camera man in way entire event. Quality of card low. Basically two good fight cards. Too expensive.

Great bouts. Plenty of power shots, knock downs, and knock outs.

Good fights. Only let down was that electronic ticket scanner was down so I had to wait in line for over 30 minutes to get my paper tickets.

It was a good event. Lots of action. The host was absolutely bad although he was been the host for years and the clown who is the DJ from a local radio station is nothing more than a drunkj and is worthless.

Each fight was very entertaining. The Main Event even had us on our feet!

Competition was fierce, crowd was pumped, atmosphere was excellent. Best dollar for dollar venue I've been to in over a year!!

Great fights, easy location. Staff might be better at seating but the event was great. Would recommend and will definitely be coming back.

Expected to see more power punches. Only a couple of the fights were interesting, main event was a joke.

Action was solid throughout the entire card, especially the main event.

The only thing I could complain about is the fights didnt start on time. We all got seated about 10 minutes before it was scheduled to start and sat there waiting for about 40 minutes before the first fighters were introduced. Yawn!!!

My friends and I had a great time watching the boxing event at EQC.

I was very impressed with the quality of fighters on this night. There were 5 debut fighters, and I was a little concerned that the fights might be sloppy. Far from it. All were action packed and each fighter gave his all.

The EQ gave us top value for our entertainment dollar. Seats were fine. Parking was fine. Any rowdiness, when it got uncontrolled was quickly handled.

Outstanding seats, great boxing card. How can I reserve these seats from future boxing events.

Great boxing until the "main event" featuring two light heavyweights afraid to mix it up.

Taking away the pre fight food and entertainment for the VIP s was a mistake. Main event was boring

Enjoyed the event and will likely attend in the future. However the fighters were quite amateurish. The event announcer wasn't very professional, on multiple occasions called the Emerald Queen Casino the Emerald Green Casino.

The fights were amazing. There were waitresses around to take your drink order! Great and fun atmosphere. I'm definately going to be going to this event when it comes around again.
