Interesting night. Gary Lewis and band along with the Vogues were the highlights for me. Spoonful not the same without John Sebastian. Bob Miranda can still sing. Terry Sylvester of the Hollies, not so much. The host of the program whose name escapes me was the glue for the whole show.

Concert was good. While many of the groups aren't the same as they were when their hits were recorded, they were good. The Vogues were excellent.

Such a disappointment. Voices were bad and very limited selection of 60s music. Performers were resting on their past and perfmances were poor.

We heard the music as kids and teens, now we return as grandparents within an orderly polite crowd. Quite the change! The evening was very pleasant and fun. I particularly liked the words and attitude of producer Joe Mirrione. Never met him before. The musical acts were fair to great. The Vogues have not lost a bit. Wow! Even though the other groups were partial the music was nostalgic and the personal stories of the era were poignant. I don t care that some singers can t hit the highest notes; I can t run as fast as I used to either. By and large we all left happy reliving memories tweaked by hearing some of our favorite songs by some of our favorite artists. Also credit given to the younger support musicians who duplicated exactly the sound we remembered.

Show was very good, but The Vogues were on for only about 20 minutes, if that long. This was the 2nd time we saw the show and were hoping they would be on longer. Instead.....a great deal of time went to Gary Lewis & The Loving Spoonful. They were on much too long.

We had great seats, but that was about all that was great. The show, as a whole was pretty bad. There was only one of the Hollies and one of the Happenings and no harmony, which is what I loved about them in the Sixties. Gary Lewis can t sing and he was on much too long, but his band was great. The highlight was The Vogues, who were wonderful, but they were on for too short a time. The Lovin Spoonful was just okay.

First time concert goer to The Bears Den Showroom venue at Seneca Niagara Casino and will definitely attend more concerts there. Spacious seating, intimate atmosphere, no bad seats anywhere, superb sound system, gracious employees and well-mannered audience all made for an unforgettable concert experience. Only one song's mix didn't work too well when the lead singer/guitarist attempted to swallow his mike while singing (back off Jerry!).

The Bears Den at Seneca Niagara Casino was a great place to see a band that has been performing for 50 years. Joe Butler formerly on drums took the lead vocals that John Sebastian once held and it worked out fine. The banter between Butler and long time friend Steve Boone gave us insight to years of hard work. Jerry Yester doesn't show his age and he handles vocals, keyboard and guitar. He also is the music director and producer. New comers Mke Arturi on Drums and Phil Smith lead and rythym Guitar proved to be a good fit. Playing to a small crowd made it personal and a very enjoyable evening.

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this concert. The voices were still strong and wonderful singing all of the old timeless hits they had.

You couldn't ask for a better venue for the Lovin Spoonful. All seats are so close to the stage and you feel you are at a private party. The Lovin Spoonful put their hearts and soul into their performance. They still have that great sound and Joe has a crystal clear voice when he hits the high notes. You can tell they have a great time performing and are close friends and this enthusiasm sparks the audience. The jokes and constant ribbing are fun to watch. Still love their music and the trip down memory lane. They played non stop for 1 1/2 hours and covered their best songs. Would love to see them return to the Showcase Live again.

The band was not bad. .... BUT, we were mistakenly under the impression we were going to see John Sebastian.... therefore, we were, to say the least, disappointed. We loved the last 2 songs they did (before the silly last song). Guess we'll need to look alot closer the next time we buy tickets to anything. How were we suppose to know that it didn't include John???? Feel like we were misled sort of. But the SHOWCASE LIVE theatre was very impressive, our seats were wonderful, & we did have a great hamburger, and we got to see Patriot Way, which is also impressive. We traveled an hour & a half, & if John Sebastian had been with the Lovin Spoonful, it would've been a great night. Unfortunately, all we can say is it was Okay.

WOW I felt 40 years younger for those 75 minutes. I believe I enjoyed it so much because the group was thoroughly enjoying themselves. They enjoyed sharing their talents and we enjoyed listening and "remember when and where we were when we first heard those songs". It's a great time and a wonderful concert and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the Lovin Spoonful in the past. They put the "magic in the music and the music in me".

The concert started off slow and out-of-tune but improved as they warmed up. The mixing was very poor with the keyboard behind a fraction of a second at times.

would be much better had John Sebastion performed. However, it was nice to hear the group recognize Sebastion to the audience.;

Bring back the Cowsills to headline their own tour. Original members with incredible harmonies in fine form. The Lovin' Spoonful is missing two key members so the songs were of a cover band and didn't fly so well. I will go again in a heartbeat to see the Cowsills and pay the price. Spoonful? Only if it's a free show.
