Awesome venue !! The guys gave a killer performance !! This venue is so intimate it's like the guys are right in front of you no matter where u are. This is the 1st time I've seen a front man and the band actually engaging with the audience. Mike all night was making jokes. Shaking hands & having fun with his friends off to the side. Loved this so cool !! Actually the entire band was like this it was nice to see artists as real people as oppose to let's just perform and be done with it not this band LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT Hehe !!

WOW! These guys still rock! The venue was perfect, not to crowded, outdoors but covered with two beer gardens and grass if you just wanted to stretch out and relax!!! The band was amazing! They may be older but they still kicked ass, and sounded just like they did in their prime! Would do it again tomorrow!

I cant even say enough of this concert. Awesome to the 10th degree. Mike Reno and the boys can still rock it after all these years. Made sure I was in Winnipeg (coming from Hawaii) to make this concert.

I haven't seen these guys since 91' in Philly touring "Big Ones." Reno can still belt it out without "electronic assistance," Dino never missed a chord, Matt played like he was 21, & it was great to see & hear Doug Johnson again - with sax. When I heard they were coming close to NYC, I went. If you ever liked these guys, you should go see them now!

The Drummer totally rocked out! They sounded just like they did back in the 80's

The guys did a great concert for the small but energetic crowd in ac last night. They played all the hits,and Mike Reno still has the best pipes in rock n' roll! They played 13 songs in about 90 minutes. Wish they played a litttle longer,but that is life at a casino show. Bottom line....THEY ROCKED!

What a great show!!! Mike Reno's voice is still amazing. He sounded awesome along with the other guys in the band. Well worth the trip from Virginia Beach to Atlantic City.

Mike Reno's voice is just as powerful and pure as ever. He can still hit all the high notes. Although he's gained quite a bit of weight, he can still rock and roll and deliver. The band is tight. They played every major hit and then some. The only part of the show I didn't like was a long drum and bass guitar jam that seemed go on forever. Otherwise it was excellent. I was amazed how many empty seats there were. We saw Billy Squire at the same venue the week before, and the place was packed. I'd recommend you see Loverboy if you never. If you're a fan of their music, you'll have a great time!

I'm not a lover boy fan but my wife was back in the early 80's so for her birthday we went to see them at the Hilton in Atlantic city NJ the boy's are a little older now and so were the fans but they sure can rock they had us standing on our feet singing along to the big hits the show lasted a little less then 2 hours with 1 encore

Loverboy was one of the best concerts , the whole band was incredible with their music loverboy and his band still have it in them. Great job with all the songs, great set up great crowd, great everything. great seating arrangement, I would defenitely go back to see loverboy . The tickets were very reasona priced. thank you

They have gotten older ( like all of us) but these guys still have it! A must see if you get the opportunity. Awesome show!!!

What great energy from a band thats been around for over 30 years. they sound better than ever and really had great interaction with the crowd ( I was lucky enough to be in the 3rd row). It was like going to a high school reunion and seeing old friends again. Small but very rowdy and fun crowd.

I was at the show 2 years ago and thought it was great. But this show with out another act was far and away so much better.

The show was just okay. Sound was mixed poorly which made the vocals difficult to enjoy. Drummer rocked!! Was a good thing tix were on 25 dollars.

I saw Loverboy back in the 80's, loved them then and still love them now. I had a wondeful time. The guys were very entertaining. Awesome TALENT. Hope you come back to New Mexico.

I had a great time at this concert. The venue is very small but it was perfect for this artist. Everyone sang to all of their songs, and they sounded good. No opening band another plus.

Its was ok ... jammed as many people in asthey could.. layout for rows could have had better isles for access in and out ... Loverboy set seemed to end rather quickly as well could have played longer than an hour

It was great to hear how good the band sounded and it was even better to hear Mike Reno still had his voice. Guitars, drums, keyboards, all sounded fantastic and not a member missed a beat. My wife and I really enjoyed listening to the classics (we go to as many concerts as we can these days) and watching Loverboy rock the house! All around us, a good time was being had by all! Thank you guys for a great night, please keep it up and this is definitely a recommended show to see!

I make every effort to see Loverboy every time they come to Ohio. I enjoy them as much today as I did 25 yrs ago!

A group of friends and I got to meet the band before the show and they were so nice and seemed to really appreciate that the fans still turned out. And they sounded great!

After forty years, Loverboy sounded as if it were the 80s. Mike Reno's voice sounds exactly the same. Also, the staff at the Rocksino, from the time that we walked into the door, to the ushers in the arena, were very enthusiastic. Everyone seemed to enjoy what they were doing. Great show. Looking forward to Loverboys return.

Loverboy was AWESOME as always. Been a fan since 1981 and haven't missed a show since!

They said this was their first show in a long list of places to preform. Hopefully they work out the kinks. Don t get me wrong... the band did sound amazing but the solos were a bit long. The lead singers voice has definitely changed with age and they only played a little over an hour. It was ok, but definitely not worth the $55.00 to see them again.

Great 80's band. Took me back to my High school days. Lots of energy. Matt Frenette gave it his all and played his heart out on the drums. Awesome drum solo!!! Paul Dean still rocked on the guitar, Doug Johnson is amazing on keyboards.(Interesting late 70"s early 80's sounding keyboard solo ) Ken Sinnaeve sounded great on bass guitar. Then their is Mike Reno, Wow! After all these years he still sounds great. I wish that he would sing into the mic more so I could hear him. (His mic was often held up by his nose or eyes) Mike has such a powerful voice, but I could not hear the" Mike Reno" distinct voice come though with it being held so far away. In all this was a great energy concert with all the 80" Loverboy top song played, except Heaven in your eyes.These guys are amazing with being in their 60's and 70's they still rock the house!!!!

its always a great time at Rocksino, but this show was outstanding. great sound, band had lots of energy, i had a great time. would definitely go again if they come back!

I expected a good show but ended up even better! I would see them again.

Loverboy a band I really like and never seen live. They sounded good but as only act they played at most 1.5 hours. But almost 25 minutes of this was long drawn out jam sessions and drum solo and bass solos they lost the audience as almost everyone sat down. Reno left stage 3-4 times. They played the hits but have so many other songs they could have added instead of drum solos. WHo does that anymore ? Disappointed. Won t see them again.

Sold out show. Loverboy sounded great. Small venue. Fun. Buckets of beer available for purchase to bring in venue. Great show, great crowd, great facility. Clean bathrooms!

This was a very good night out, it brought back many memories from old concerts.

Night Ranger ROCKED the house - the only bad part of the night was the cocky attitude of one of the security guards. Let people dance and have fun - that's what concerts are for. Not for pulling a power trip ! Loverboy also sounded good once they got thru the first 4 songs (which about put the crowd to sleep!)

Night Ranger was great!!! Lover Boy was boring. Great vocals but not a good show to watch.

The only downfall is how rude people are when they think they have to stand through the whole concert. We were seated in the elevated area and thought that we would be able to sit and see but unfortunately when everyone decides to stand through the whole thing you don't see anything except on the big screen and then it is only what the camera shows you. The camera men were not the best, they did not move the camera enough over the whole band pretty much centered on the main singer.

thank Goodness Night Ranger opened or it would of been a real disappointment all night. I fell asleep when Night Ranger was on stage if that tells you anything! Time to hang it up.

Night Ranger was awesome. Loverboy not so much. I expected more from them. They were very flat and appeared they didn't really want to be performing that night. They displayed no energy.

These guys sound as good now as they did in the 80's when I saw them. I was "lovin every minute of it".

Both bands were amazing. I had 2nd row seats and felt like part of the show. The sound was great and the musicians sang all the great songs. I would go see them again in a heartbeat!

Treasure Island is a great place to see a concert. The Hotel and amenities are great. Night Ranger was worth the ticket price. They played with energy and sounded as good as back in the 80's. Loverboy did not match the energy of Night Ranger and I left the show a little disappointed. Night Ranger should of been the closing act and this would of made this concert the one I was expecting to see.

Amazing concert - vocals were spot on and I felt like I was in high school all over again - very much recommend - almost 3-1/2 hours of amazing music

Night Ranger was incredible. It was the third time I've seen them and they were great. Their interaction with the crowd was fun and kept things lively. Of course the music was great! Loverboy was kind of boring. It was the second time I've seen them and the music was great but they were kind of boring. No interaction with the audience and they did a couple of solos that were way too long (in my opinion) and boring. If my wife and I had been there alone we would've left before the show was over. The venue was good. Small, which was great. We sat on chairs on the floor (which is a level floor) and won't do that again. We were in row 15, so we were nice and close to the stage. If one person stood up in front of you in any of the rows before the stage you couldn't see the stage. The next time we'd definitely sit in one of the bleacher seats. They are around the building and are plenty close enough to get great views of the stage. It was a really fun night, but could've been a little better.

I loved Night Ranger but Loverboy played stuff I didnt know and the drum solo and bass guitar solo were both way too long..I left early.

Great concert! If you love 80's rock you will want to catch these bands in concert. They've aged physically, but sound better than ever!

Loverboy sounded Amazing. Played all the great songs and even went into a doors cover! From a musical standpoint the players were top notch. Amazing Bass solo, Paul Dean and Mike Reno sounded great. Cant say enough about this band/show!

This concert exceeded all of my expectations! The band was very high energy even though they aren t spring chickens these days. The songs sounded so much like I remembered them!!

What a show! The band played and sounded just as good as they did in the 80's! Engaging with the crowd, they clearly gave it their all and rocked the house! They played every hit I had hoped to hear and even a few more! These guys have still got it!

Loverboy showed in their performance that they haven't lost much rocking energy over the years. The keyboard player and lead guitar were at the top of their game and the lead singer, although passing up some of the higher notes, still did a great job of interacting with and including the audience. They played most of their biggest hits, although "Heaven in Your Eyes" and "Almost Paradise" were a set from the set. Unfortunately, the venue at DiamondJacks Casino was unbearably hot at times, with many spectators drenched in sweat by the end of the performance.

Loverboy was great! Venue, not so much. We were on the 2nd row and the Usher had to send people back to the seats over and over again. Then he just disappeared. We still had fun but I won't be returning to this venue.

Never saw a band have so much fun on stage. The show was great. Had a very good time.

Lover boy puts on a great show made for a great Valentine's day

The show was simply FANTASTIC! I walked in with zero expectations, not sure what to expect from a band I loved but hadn't heard in 20+ years. They killed it! Singer couldn't hit the high notes as he used to but other than that, the band sounded like they did back when I was in high school.

Although there were some sound issues with the equipment, that didn't put a damper on the show by any means. Loverboy came out and worked through it. They put on an AMAZING show. Actually, I think they were enjoying it as much as the audience was. Loverboy has always been a great live band and are always great to their audience, mutual appreciation so to speak. Never been to one of there concerts yet where the audience isn't singing LOUDLY with the band, they love that by the way. All accomplished musicians and masters at their craft. I would recommend seeing this band to anyone, they always leave you wanting more!!

The bands energy is still what it was yrs ago.. hard to believe they are all older then me :) Mike Reno couldnt quite hit all the high notes he could about 10 yrs ago when I saw them, but nevertheless, the audience loved them as well. They played 2 encores and didnt want to leave :) Love the fact how its all still the original band too.

we saw Loverboy it was excellent! mike reno has a lovely voice! Matt is amazing! Doug plays amazing sound affects on the keyboard, he's a composer he can play sound affects like a milkshake machine in their song "lead a double life"! Paul and Ken are both excellent guitarists!!

Loverboy was simply amazing! The band is high energy and play hit after hit! I highly recommend getting to a Loverboy show... they rock! I had a blast!

I saw Loverboy in Cape Cod back in the early 80's and loved the show! I enjoyed this concert just as much as the one back then. They are still rocking it 30 years later!!!

Basically, I only went to see .38 Special - having Scandal and Loverboy there was a bonus. Scandal opened the show and sounded excellent. Patty Smyth is in great shape and sounds just like she did on the albums. My favorite Scandal song is The Warrior and she belted it out perfectly. In fact, I listened to a recorded concert from 1986 online the night before and she sounded just as she did back then. .38 Special was pretty much everything I'd hoped for. Donnie Van Zant is as energetic and crazy as ever and Don Barnes sounds fantastic. I have the Sturgis CD and the show was as tight. The crowd was eating everything up, and they seemed to genuinely appreciate that. And make no mistake, they are polished. Of course, this being the first time I had seen them live (scheduling conflicts everytime they've been to Cincy/Dayton had messed me over), there were songs I wanted to hear that they didn't do. Stuff like "You Keep Runnin' Away." And they included "Like No Other Night" in a medley, and I would've liked hearing that entire song. Still, all the classics were there from "Hold On Loosely" to "Caught Up In You" to "Back Where You Belong." The crowd asked for an encore and they delivered. Loverboy's segment was equally as good, but I've never been a real Loverboy fan. Mike Reno sounded good, even though he's put on a few pounds. I only stayed for four songs of theirs, as I didn't feel like sitting through an entire set to hear "Queen of the Broken Hearts" if they played it.It was a nice show in a great setting. A+ to the Fraze staff, they were outstandingly friendly, cordial, and helpful. I fought through a migraine to get there, and was very glad I did.

Loverboy put on a great show!! I like how personable they were with the crowd. Would recommend Loverboy to a friend and also see them again myself.

Loverboy was great. A lot of fun partying to all their hits. The opening act wasn't good and the venue (London Music Hall) was standing only so it was a little uncomfortable.

Mike Reno sounded great. The show room was a very good venue for this act. The only negative was the obligatory 15 minute drum/bass solo. LB simply does not have a big enough catalog to play 90 minute concert without this type of filler. It was, however, very good concert and I would recommend saying LB live.

My Friends and I see Loverboy everytime they are in Vegas. I saw them in 80 and 82, they are hands down one of my favorites! The band still plays as tight as ever and Mike Reno still has an incredible voice!! Strongly suggest all 80's rockers go see them, you wont be disappointed. I have been a big Loverboy fan incisive seeing their 2nd concert ever preformed. They sounded better NOW then back in the 80's DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW !!!!

The last time I saw Loverboy was in 1985. They were one of my favorite bands and I was excited and a little unsure of what to expect. When the show started and the band came out on stage it was obvious that the 80's were a long time ago, but once they started playing......it was an instant time warp back. They started off with the song Notorious and the energy instantly went through the ceiling. I'm sure the average age in the audience was in the late 50's but all those old women suddenly felt like they were 18 yr old groupies again and ran up to the stage and started rocking! That energy continued the entire evening and the performance was outstanding. It's easy to see why Loverboy dominated the 80's and has had such a long time following. They definitely know how to entertain the crowd and their sound is as on spot and rocking as it was back in their prime. If you get a chance, go check out the show, you will not be disappointed.

Loverboy was great! They sounded terrific and the singer was really good. The band rocked! The crowd was lively and amusing to watch a bunch of 60+ year old women rush the stage to get closer to the band. They played their best songs and we couldn't have asked for more. Go see them. It's fun!!!

I went to this show not knowing what to expect. Loverboy peaked in the early 80s, but they've put out a few CDs since then, including a pretty damn good one called Just Getting Started in 2007. I figured they'd do what most band do: play some hits intermingled with newer, less popular fare in an effort to sell new CDs. Loverboy didn't do that. Every song they played you can find on their Loverboy Classics (hits) CD, save for one cover of a Doors song. The band is all original except for the bass player. Scott Smith tragically fell overboard and was lost at sea in 2000. Ken (Spider) Sinnaeve replaced him and has played with the band ever since. Sure, the guys are older, and in the case of Mike Reno, heavier, but they were awesome. Reno can't hit every spectacular high anymore, but he came pretty darn close. Their musical talent is still rock solid -- guitar, keyboards, drums, bass... all tight as ever. The show started off well, but the tough LA crowd took a few songs to warm up. From then on out, everyone was on their feet, dancing, singing, and having an amazing time. It was like riding on an incredible music train that wasn't going to stop. As the song goes, I was Lovin' Every Minute of It. Any band that can spark so many great memories and get a crowd going like that is A+ in my book.

The tickets stated that the gates were scheduled to open at 5PM. They didn't actually open until five minutes to 6PM. The workers at the gate stated that they were waiting on approval from the band to let people in. We were very disappointed in the sound quality at this event. We thought maybe the venue was the reason for the distorted sound but we attended an event the very next night at the same venue and the sound was great and not distorted at all. Loverboy did come out and play all their popular songs but they did so without any degree of enthusiasm. They didn't interact with the crowd at all or even attempt to pretend they were happy to be there. It almost seemed they thought it was beneath them. When we first heard Loverboy was coming to the three rivers festival we were excited. We saw them a few years ago as the opening act for Journey and they rocked. They put on an amazing show that night but left us extremely disappointed in their most recent offering.

Loverboy was as good as they were in the 80's! We were glad we went.

Didn't open the doors until 5:45. First two bands were horrible. First 3 songs of Loverboy.. Mic was so distorted you couldn't understand him.. But after that issue was solved, rest of the show was great...

They started two hours late, opened with a lame new song, hardly played any old ones, and their stage show sucked.

I really hate to say this but... they had their day and they need to retire now. The music was so loud you could not hear the lyrics. I'm sure it's because the vocals are not like they used to be. Gave two stars for effort. If you are bored, want a cold beer and to socialize then i would recommend.

Although Lover Boy is capable of playing their material at a high level they appear disinterested in putting in the effort required. Extended drum and bass solo's are not really required in a short show. Earlier what started out as a somewhat comical foray into some odd kind of jazz morphed into Riders In the Storm and done at a lower level than a bar band. I am not really sure what they have spent their money on over the years but I know it was not clothes. If you want to see a good 80's show go see Steel Panther.

It was a awesome show I think they played 15 songs.Mike Reno sound should of been louder i.The rest of the band overpowered his vocals.

Good show. Not normally a show I would go out of my way to see, but they were in town and so was I. I was surprised how many of their songs I knew. Ended up having a great time.

Fun night!!!! The Reagan Years warmed up and they were amazing! The Loverboy came on! They can still rock!

Very disappointed by the concert. Not enough energy and momentum to really keep the crowd interested. My guest & I were more pumped and entertained by the opening act, Reagan Years. We would not recommend going to see Loverboy in the future. Reagan Years, YES! They are an 80's cover band, but they are fantastic!!

The Reagan Years, even tho I have never heard of them, we're awesome. Loverboy was outstanding, as always. Couldn't get a ouch of them.

Loverboy was the headliner, though Reagan Years stole the show. Loverboy was pretty good. Not sure I would pay to see just them alone.

Felt like the singer was getting out of breath, didn't work much with the crowd to get them enjoying the concert more. The drummer and bass player(?) put on an awesome show!!!

The warm up band was amazing. Loverboy was very disappointing. You couldn't hear the lead singer very well, he had the microphone pointed towards his head not his mouth. He kept hanging out near the drummer and not towards the front of the stage. They used a lot of blue and red lighting and not enough regular (white) lights so you could see the band. Perhaps because of their age they didn't want to be seen but we all came to "see" them despite their age, we knew that going in. There were quite a few moments when you could tell he lost the attention of the audience and yet he didn't pick up the pace. My friend and I left halfway through the performance.

Great concert!!!! We had a fun time. The song choices were the best! Brought back lots of memories!
