I wasn't expecting his show to be as good as it was. All of the performers were great and Gates told a great story!! Great show!

This was the best show I have been to this year. Kevin Gates did great! Whenever he is in town I'm there!

Newport music hall was a small venue which provides for good viewing anywhere. I was impressed with the pictures and videos i got. Lots of college kids due to the venue next to Ohio State University. Kevin Gates is awesome and my favorite rapper. I drove 8 hours each way to see him since his idgt tour don't come to Philly. He did sing over recordings and there wasn't a lot of side entertainment. The concerts i have attended at larger venues, the rappers may have other dancers on the stage with a light show. Or the stage rises up. Maybe a live band. I felt like it was missing that extra entainment. Overall, great show and worth the experience because i have wonderful pics/videos. I would see kevin gates again.

It was a fun time, but half of the concert was dialouge and talking. And he only played from the beginning of his songs to the course; barley heard any john gotti or dont get tired.

Dude gives a hell of a show. No let down here he does need to get better sound personnel or the venue should have had better equipment. But the show was exactly that. My cousin and I will be seeing him again for sure.

The opening acts or whoever the people were before Kevin was TRASH..wish I knew it was a local act showcase prior and I would of saved 3hours of my life hell it was already a 3hr drive from Indianapolis.

Your lieing if gates doesnt grab your attention. Ive been to over 300 shows of all venues all cities all types of music from rock to electronic to jam bands to hip hop. There is no better show than kevin gates. He is a real artist whos real with his fans and truely believes in his music. he performs from the heart. if you wanna see a show this is a must. GOAT aka greatest of all time. if you dont like him you dont know music. LUCA BRASI .... I DONT GET TIRED

Kevin Gates was pretty good. I didn't like the crowd though. I would definitely see him again but not at the same venue or with the same people. I couldn't really enjoy the show due to security being overbearing and trying not to slap random females. It was my 3rd time seeing him in less than a year, so my expectations are kind of high.

I am a new fan of Gates, and I must say he is even better in concert. It was very hot in the venue which makes me hesitant to go to streetsfest but apart from that I had a good time.

Don't get me wrong - I love his music, but the kid just didn't have the energy I was expecting. His a capella was on point, but he stuck with the more popular, low energy, emotional songs instead of playing his bangers.

He took a long time to come out!! But I can say the show was amazing! I would rather not wait that long for an artist but if I had to, it would be for him. The show was great!

I went to the concert because my best friend loves kevin gates, but after seeing him and listening to the music, I too am a fan now !!! BUT he was 3 hours late to perform! I felt that to be very unprofessional but that's expected ! Other wise I had a great time

Kevin put his heart and soul into this performance. He made sure we had a good time and got our money's worth. There's no way you can be disappointed with Kevin Gates.

It was a very spacious club. But the show took forever to star. The artist did great and made the wait fairly worth it, however we paid full price to see a 30 minute show. I did not like this fact. The DJ's were fun and interacted with the crowd so that was a plus.

I loved that show... He is so worth the money... I would def go see another show... PERFORMED ALOT OF SONGS...def enjoyed it...

At first when he was whispering a verse I've the heavy bass I wasn't impressed. But when he slapped the Mic stand out of the way we were both turnt up. Best performer ever. Really worked the crowd. The meet and greet was great. He is real and down to earth. We talked about fishing lol. Overall we wanna go to every concert he has. And w h an he jumped in the crowd we all went crazy. Highly recommend.

I had a blast from start to finish! The best day of my life thus far! (You had to be there to know what I mean)

Kevin was late, we listened to music for at least an hour. He didnt' perform whole songs. I was disappointed. In the beginning he wasn't in a good mood because of something previously so he completely came off like he was 100% messed up then he perked up.

The show was amazing! He interacted with the crowd and next time I will most definitely be getting VIP to meet him! He's even better in person!

My thought on the concert was that it was the worse one I have been to I have been to better country concerts then his show I love his music but his performance wasn't worth me sitting there listening to songs most of the time from other artists I would of perfered to of had my money back and just went to the bars instead and listened to music from the radio then there decision to split people up like that at the concert was the stupidest thing I have ever seen or heard of so my final thought of this Concert was I hated it and would never go to one of his again not worth my hard earned money

This man is amazing, but I hate that they had a set time for him to perform. He wanted to stay longer.

First off, I was HIGHLY disappointed with how late his show started. Event said it was suppose to start at 7, but KG didn't come out to perform til 10:30. I was ready to leave by 9. The crowd was small too, I'm assuming they were trying to get there sales ticket up before he performed. Smh. Overall performance was alright. He didn't even perform for an hour though...

Im a big Gates Fan, been seeing him in small town venues all over Louisiana.. He is the Same down to earth Energy driven Rapper as always!!

The venue was very nice. From bartenders to security the service was friendly yet business like. Kevin's energy was beyond heartfelt. Performances before him were great and his DJ kept it live. I have to experience this again Amee

The best Kevin Gates concert I have ever been to! I have been to 3 other ones besides this one and this was definitely the best one. we waited in line for forever but that's what you get when you want front row! we stood outside for about 2 hours & we're pretty far back in line and still got 2 rows from the front. there was only 1 preformer before BWA came on which was FANTASTIC. when I went to the concert in Cleveland there was about 20 local preformers before him which was fine but it was too much and he didn't come on until 11:29 at Cleveland but at this show he came out at 10 played for over an hour came into the crowd touched MY HAND and held it. it was the best concert I have EVER been to.

I'll start out by saying it was sold out so of course it was packed and the venue was small. But kevin did his thing!! He played all the favorites and even some of his new songs!! In between each song he talked and kept it real with everyone. Can't wait to see him again!

iT WAS ABSOLUTLY AMAZING ! I HAD TO WAIT A WHILE BEFORE SEEING HIM BUT EVERY MINUTE WAS WORTH IT . HE KILLED IT . AND HES FUNNY AS HELL ! hE WAS ACTUALLY GOOD IN CONCERT INSTEAD OF BEING BAD HE WAS GOOD HE PUT EMOTION INTO IT AND HAD THE CROUD SCREAMING FOR MORE . I LOVE THE WAY HE TALKED ABOUT THINGS THAY WERE RELEVENT TO THE SONG HE WAS ABOUT TO PLAY . THAT WAS ON POINT !

I went to this Kevin Gates show at The National in Richmond, VA. This is my second time seeing Gates in concert. He definitely knows how to put on a performance, had the whole crowd rockin wit em.

He really was amazing! I didn't like the fact that we stood there for three hours waiting on him, but when he came out I had an incredible time! I was literally two feet from him the whole time and I couldn't have ask for a better performance from him!

Saw him during the High Road Tour and he was AMAZING! It was my 2nd time seeing him live and I love the way he interacts with fans. I can't wait to see him again on his next Headlining tour so I can be front ROW!

I have been waiting a while to see Gates in concert. His concert on Saturday was amazing! Everyone kept telling us that he was a quick performer, but he showed them wrong. He was on stage for a hour and a half. I can't wait to see him again!

He really gave a great performance. It was my first concert and it was wonderful. He was on time unlike alot if artist that come to New Orleans. He performed for almost 2 hours and interacted with the audience the whole time.

Kevin's overall part was live, but everything leading up to his performance was disappointing

We get there and they have a DJ up there with a hype man. After a while some no name performers do a small skit, they pop some bottles open on the crowd so we thinking here comes the show. No they go back to the hype man. That's when it started to get lame. The hype man finally got tired and left the stage. This is after 3 hours of basically nothing. We tried getting our money back that's how lame it was. We basically left after that. Not our fault the show didn't sell out!

I just hated how no one preformed until 10-10:30 and they played muisc until then it was kinda of boring but once they started to preform it was really good

Easy parking, well lit, and Kevin Gates Gave a great Performance.

Concert was supposed to start at 8pm, they had a DJ playing for 2 1/2 hours before the first group even came on stage and they were difficult to hear. It seemed like forever between the second group and kirko bangz. By the time Kirko finally came on stage, he didn't like the music so he left the stage and there was another period of waiting for a good 15 to 20 minutes. When Kevin Gates came on he was good, but there was a lot of dead time waiting for the performers.

Kevin Gates was amazing and he put on an unforgettable show. Kirko Bangz was the best opener, loved his set. The venue sucked because the speakers weren't working correctly and we had to wait an hour longer for Kirko to start his performance than his original start time which delayed Kevin's performance.

This was the worse showhen I've been too. The opening acts were not very good. The dj which played more than the artists sounded like he was playing a Pandora Playlist. I am a big Kevin Gates fan but this show was not worth it to see him.

What can i say this wasn't a concert at all. It was more so like a house party turned alll the way up if you're a true fan! I loved that you could be as close as you wanted to the stage it gave it a real feel. It wasn't like i was seeing a rapper i was witnessing am artist unwind. One of the realest performances I've witnessed yet. I can't wait until I see the next one!

He sounds so great live!!! He is such a great performer. Definitely not like your average rap concert. A must see== kevin Gates!!!

It was well worth it! He really worked the crowd!I would definitely recommend! The only problem was the building was full of smoke! So if you can stand any kind of smoke then you should not go there!

The wait was very well worth it. When Kevin got on the stage he had the crowd turnt! The tickets were only $25 and I was able to be in the front. I even got a chance to shake his hand!! He performed for about a hour and a half. I mean it was worth every penny. Glad I didn't get VIP because those people were on the balcony and for just $25 I got to be up close even though my feet were killing me because we didn't have seats. So next time I will just get regular tickets again. The only difference is we have to stand up and vip get to sit on the balcony.

Kevin Gates was absolutely amazing! I would totally go back to see him again in the future and it was well worth the money to go see him! He sounds great in person and he's so fun to watch! He performed for at least an hour and 30 minutes, which I'm not complaining about cause I had fun the whole time he was up there! The only thing I would say I didn't like was how slow the concert moved before he went up there. They played tropical music for about 2 hours after we got there and someone finally came out but after that performance was done, we waited another hour, I think they should've had a DJ up there while we were waiting cause they did do that after the second guy came out but then they randomly stopped and went back to the tropical music. But other than the waiting, great concert! If your thinking about going, GO!! It's totally worth it!

Standing for a total of 2hours doing nothing. in between young greatness and boobie black I waited in the pit for an hour and a half listening to nothing then finally boobie black came on and said YO KEVIN GATES IS ABOUT TO COME OUT. So we all get excited then we waited another 30-45 minutes listening to nothing standing in a hot group of people. In the mean time 2 people near me passed out and everyone was complaining then finally gates came out and by the time everyone around me was so hot and dehydrated and tired of standing people slowly started leaving. This was the most unorganized concert I've ever attended!

We get there at 6pm waited for 4 hours and let me tell you it was so worth it. He sounds so good live and he talk real live things inbetween songs. Thats a real experience. It was my first concert and let me tell you I'm BWA for life after that!

Kevin Gates as a rapper and inspiration is amazing. The music is great, the energy not so much. He just bounced his head and walked around. It wasn't the best concert as far as energy and fun goes but if you wanna chill and listen to gates then it's for you. Not for the turnup crowd.

I purchased meet and greet for this show because Kevin is just amazing.After the meet and greet the show started with the opener at 8 but it was 2 more hours before Kevin hit the stage..the venue sold out of water..they also had no wait staff coming to the front row for any orders..other then an issue with the venue or Kevin's last appearance it was an awesome show! Kevin doesn't disappoint, his stage presence is like no other! Catch him in a city near you..

Kevin Gates was amazing and did a very good job ! I just wish it was longer but he has others shows to do so I understand. Young Greatness & OG BOBBIE BLACK did a good job as well. So the overall show was on point. Wish I had them VIP tickets lol and wish I was on the first floor to hug him when he got on the crowd but GREAT JOB KEVIN - much respect.

This was my second time seeing Kevin Gates and I just knew he would put on a good show. However, it was simply okay. And he didn't even stay on until the time he was supposed to stay on. He ended the show kind of abruptly. I expected way better from him.

I'm biased. I love Brasi. Gates. Kevin. Whatever you wanna call 'em. I love him. I'm a super fan----I love him and Dreka. I don't know these people but I love what I see of their relationship via IG sooooo yea I'm biased. With that stated, I think the show was great. He was lively, there was some fan interaction (esp at the end), he did all the jams I wanted (except "Tomorrow"), the opening acts (Geaux Yella [check him out BTW] and them) didn't take HELLA long and I appreciate that. I've been to a number of shows where the opening acts don't come on stage until like 45mins after the show's start time and then there's like 6 different acts (I'm talking about you BTNH). Brasi had about 3 openers and the show was slated to start at 8, openers were on stage by 8:05, Brasi hit the stage a little after 9 maybe? I was outta there by about 10:30-10:45 which was great because it was a Sunday night sooooo ya know responsibility and ish. ALSO: Did not know that there's an upstairs "VIP" area at the Fillmore...OMG so glad I sat up there for this show. As much as I love Gates and as trill as my heart is...I'm too old to get put out of venues for fighting in GA. Upgrade if you're over 27 and at a "trap rap" or "ratchet" concert....

Brasi did his thing just like I expected... the sound system in the Fillmore was on Point had the whole place Vibrating the floor was thumpin

I think the kevin gates concert was the best one I've ever been too my best friend my boyfriend and his dad went we had the greatest time ever my best friend and I was jumping around screaming and singing Kevin gates is definitely my favorite I love his music so much all of it. Great job kev.

it was terrible, we paid over $100 for VIP tickets, they werent honored, we stood up in the back sweating in a venue with no AC, Kevin didn't come out until 2am, did about 6 songs and just walked off stage, no closing or anything, it was horrible.

I don't we know if Kevin Gates ended up playing. I left at 1:30 am because they were stalling so badly. I was told venue closes at 2:30 by one worker then 4 by another. I watched a lot of people walk out and it was a big disappointment. I traveled 3 hourse to be there.

The place was so packed it was hard to breathe, but this was my fourth Kevin gates show and he never disappoints!!

I was in the very front and enjoyed the show. I was a little worried by the other reviews ive read about him but he turned out to be a great performer and now im patiently waiting for him to come back! The only thing that wouldve made it better was if he did a meet and greet like other performers.
