Scream City DC

I thought it would be scary but I was actually scared. I had lots of fun and I feel that I can see myself paying $25 not $35 but I had a good time overall.

We went to celebrate my friend's birthday and this is what she chose to do. I was expecting it to be just another flaky haunted house. I was not expecting to be scared at all but to my surprise there was parts that terrified me. I love to be scared and I mean really scared and this was up there on the scare meter. I just wish there would have been a little more jumping from unexpected places and not being able to see some of the characters before you got up to them.

The girls had an great time, they said that it was scary but fun.

Actors/Actresses did a good job but 2 lines were needed for security=VIP/fast pass & the regular

OMG where do I begin!? Pretty easy to find, parking was $10 which is totally fair considering you're in DC lol. Lots of security to make the check in process smooth and quick. We didn't pay the extra $ for the quick line/VIP pass so once inside we waited in the longer line. Ok so here is where the fun begins \u2022_\u2022....you're waiting in front of a massive scary home front..super dope set up! Scary sounds, creaking floors, dimly lit, candle light and fog. The VIP line does move faster, but if you're with good company you shouldn't mind the wait in gen pop (lol). Once inside its AWESOME!! No spoiler alerts here but let's say the crew is EXTREMELY active and ...personal...displays/props/rooms are meticulously detailed in decoration and realness!!! No questions this place is worth the $, I only wish it were a little longer..inside time was right at 30-35minutes. Everyone was screaming and sweating when it was all over...WELL DONE!

The haunted houses were excellently crafted, and the actors were quite frightening. I would warn that there is an extremely dark/claustrophobic passage that might scare many individuals off. Luckily there are periodic exits, so you can avoid it, and skip to the next haunted house.

While the event itself was very worthwhile, I am not certain the long line to get in was worth the time. We waited over an hour for about a 25 minute walkthrough. The company needs to figure out a way to manage the wait time to make this a worthwhile event.

The Haunted Houses were designed really well, but they weren't scary. I went with my boyfriend and neither of us were scared. It might be scary to teenagers or kids, but not scary for adults.

It just wasn't scary. Props and decorations were very nice but that's not what scares us. It's what shouts at us and pops out on us. It just wasn't scary. :/

It was way overpriced!!!!! From parking, waiting and until we came back out was under 1 hour. Unfortunately it doesn't say on the website that you have to pay $15 for parking!!!! In cash!! Really?!? That is so not worth it. Scream city is scary and fun but not worth the money or driving out there.

It took less then 20 mins to do both houses in a big white tent. There was just a lot of walking time in the maze with no people trying to scare you. Over all the experience was horrible and not worth it at all. Worst one I've ever been to and I've been to quite a few.
