Stage lighting was horrible which adversely affected the Big Screen display.

I am so glad that I was able to see Bill Maher. He was better than my expectations. What a breath of fresh air to be with him and other like minded liberals in this extremely conservative area of the country! I would see him again and again!!

the show its self was great. Bill is very good at what he makes fun of. The only thig about the show was the venue's sound was bad.

The show was very good, and much of the material was new to me. I'm glad we went. The theater had some audio problems, and where the audio did improve a few minutes into the show, I still often had trouble hearing Bill. And I was sitting in the front row against the stage.

Laughed so hard. Loved every minute of it! Keep up the good work Bill!

If you, like I, have seen just about everything Bill Maher has ever done, this show is not going to surprise you with any new insights. However, it is always validating to hear someone speak about the state of our nation in a practical, sensible way. The media-sanctioned climate of fear, the (mostly feigned) idolatry of children, the hypocrisy of politicians, are all covered, as expected. I thought the Muslim fashion show was a bit lame. I would've rather heard some "new rules", or Bill's take on something not typically in his realm of discourse. It was embarrassing for people to constantly yell at Maher about sound quality.

Bill was wonderful, funny, witty and a blast to watch!!! However, the sound in the theatre was not working properly. This took away from the overall experience. We had great seats - we felt bad for the people in the back or balconies.

You'll have a blast. Some material was recycled, and some was new. Was expecting a little more material specific to our audience/region. But as a Bioll fan, you should definitely check him out whenever/wherever.

Bill Maher was super funny and entertaining! The show was awesome, and I would definitely love to see him again. The theatre had some issues, but overall it was a great experience.

Non-stop laughs. Very little of his routine was repeated from previous stand up shows. Maher puts a hilarious spin on the truth.

As a fan of Mr. Maher's I was not surprised that there was some overlap of his humor from is HBO show, although I was expecting to hear more material that was more "of the moment", as it has been three busy weeks since his last show. Overall, I thought he put on a good show and I would love to hear it again, especially if I could actually hear all of it. The sound system at the theater was not working properly and those of us up front on the left missed the first fifteen minutes of the show. Even after an adjustment was made, it sounded like Mr. Maher was talking inside of a giant garbage can and if he moved his microphone in any fashion the sound would drop out. I have been a fan for several years and it was a real disappointment to really only hear about half of the material.

This is one of the best events I've ever attended. Bill Maher handled the crowd with ease. In the beginning there was a sound problem and he nailed it. He pulled out all the stop on every topic that is 'politically incorrect'. The crowd was amazing and as cutting edge as he was. I think he was surprised that New Orleans had such an educated, hip, aware audience. What a great feeling to be withg so many like-minded people!!!!

Show was great. It was really easy to hear everything and Bill killed it as usual.

Drove to Albuquerque from Texas to see Maher perform; and would again in a minute. Such a wonderful show. He took me away from the 'environmental bubble' of Texas. The evening will stay in my memory for a long time. Don't worry Bill ... we were not sensitive that night ... as usual, you say things that nobody says out loud. Thank you for the evening.

First off, my buddy and I got the surprise of a lifetime that night! We were seated in Row U, right on the edge and right before the show started, the producer (i'm guessing) came up to where we were seated and said, "Are you guys seated together?" Of course we said yes and then he asked, and this is no joke whatsoever, "how would you guys' like to sit front row center?" I thought we were being set up for something but he was serious, so we said hell yeah! He escorted us down to the front and let us have our seats and told us to enjoy the show! How cool is that??? As for the show itself, what can I say? Bill Maher came out real casual and did his routine. I think he was on stage for well over an hour and a half. He killed the set as we all knew he would. Great seats and an even better show!

Bill Maher's stand up routine is mostly enjoyable because he's preaching to the choir. Unfortunately, if you have seen ever seen five minutes of Bills typical rant on politics and America on his TV show, you won't be remissed if you miss his stand up tour. He talks about the typical stuff one would expect (and I mostly agree with him) but his routine is completely void of any heart and depth. Bills delivery and performance was average but his stand up content is below average intelligence. He does nothing to personalize or familiarize his content with the audience. Being located in Wisconsin, his routine could've have easily eviscerated our Gov. which is what the audience wanted but Bill said literally one sentence on the subject matter and moved on. And finally, Bill never gave solutions to any problems that he pointed out but only pointed fingers at the culprit. Overall it was decent with all the religious bashing but definitely not worth seeing again.

Did not know he was coming until a few days before he arrived, and was lucky to get the seats. This was not only my first time seeing him live, but my first time at the Cobb Energy Center. It was a gorgeous venue, and he filled it very nicely. He hit all his points well, and I have to say, I am a die-hard fan.

Just as expected, Mr. Bill was in charge with humor. The audience was a bit of a surprise with such enthusiasim. It was my first encounter with that many Western N. Carolinians in one place. Would like for Bill Maher to return.

Good show. Just what you would expect, if you are a fan of "Real Time".

If you are a progressive Bill's show is the funniest thing you will probably ever see. If you are a conservative - it's still the funniest show you will ever see. You just won't understand about 85% of the jokes.

Either you love the Bill Maher or you hate him. If the latter is true, I might inquire as to why you just spend 75 bucks a ticket to see him? I generally find people who hate Bill Maher to be rather offensive myself, but I digress. Personally, I have been a fan for half of my life, watching him/reading his books religulously since my formative years...so i knew what to expect -sardonic wit and lots of laughs-the kind an agnostic liberal like myself can relate to. (and is rather hard to find) So you should go see him if you can...however, if you end your sentences with '...because I m a Christian , this is prob not the show for you. My only criticism would be that I never get to go to the After Show Hot Tub Party. However does one get the invite?

Bill Maher never disappoints and this show was no exception. My husband and I watch Real Time faithfully (he might prefer a different choice of word) and also the specials of his stand-up routines. We always enjoy those so it was great to be in the audience. Note, however, we occassionally disagree with his views and there were a couple of those presented at this show, but we are never offended and appreciate the intellectual stimilus. The Marin Center is a great venue: the size is manageable, easy access and free parking.

Bill was hilarious and a welcome antidote to the tea party bigots that populate this great land! He is right on regarding the idiocy of both our political parties. I would walk more than a mile to see Bill. Worth every penny!!!!

From beginning to end there was only a few moments that I wasn't laughing or giggling. His performance was fresh, relevant, and delightfully humorous! He talks to the crowd as though he's entertaining friends in his living room and by that I mean he is easily relatable to the audience which makes it that much more interesting to follow his thoughts and jokes. I'm very happy I went and very happy that he did not disappoint.

Bill Maher was on point as he is on his HBO show Real Time. He was irreverent, controversial, and funny. He questioned every subject, the right, the religous, and the hypocrites. You go Bill!!!

Went to see Bill Maher last night. Awesome!! Progress Energy Ctr was very nice as was the staff. Snowed upon leaving, but even that couldn't spoil a great evening of laughs . Hated cameras were not allowed. But then rules are rules.

Funnier in person, Maher's humor on not just the Right, but the Liberal Left as well kept everyone very entertained. This show with his his views on the War on Terror, Healthcare, and especially the far Right Conservatives is not to be missed if it swings by your town.....

Bill Maher was wonderful, as always. We waited by his ride after and I gave him a spoof of his New Rules book that I made for school. He was reading it as he pulled away. I'm still on cloud nine!

I am a huge fan of Bill Maher, seeing him in a small venue was great. It was comfortable and intimate. Just a good time for those who are fans of Bill Maher

Bill Maher says the things that most people are thinking, but are afraid to admit. This is the first time that I have seen his stand up routine, and his views were much more in line with mine, when not tainted by a panel or guest or a movie producer.

This was the best show! I have been a faithful follower ever since Politically Incorrect aired on late night TV so many years ago, and I haven't stopped watching! I was very lucky to have seats front row, center stage. This was an experience I won't forget. You've got to come back to the Big Easy again, Bill. We love you here!!

The show itself was terrific and he had new material (unlike a few comedians we've seen over the last year who are basically replaying their stand-up over and over again). The only complaint I have about the show has nothing to do with Bill Maher -- the theater where it was held in New Orleans (Mahalia Jackson Theater) had such horrible sound that we missed the first 10-12 minutes of it (and we sat in the FRONT ROW -- so close I could touch the guys' shoes!!!) and then intermittent parts of the rest of the show. Since there was no way we could've sat closer, I feel sorry for all of the people sitting behind us who couldn't hear a word!

If you like RealTime w/ Bill Maher on HBO then you would really like his live show! Plus this is always a great theater to see a comedian in.

Insults were somewhat funny but aging jokes were hilarious

So I remember the first time I ever saw Bill Maher. The year was 1982 and I was watching the Tonight Show. I loved him then and years later, nothing has changed. I ve lost count of the number of times I ve seen him in person and he never ceases to be what I expect\u2026.honest, funny, intelligent and genuine. This show was no different. For those of you with HBO, yes, some of the material was the same as his special that aired a mere week before, but that doesn t make it any less funny. In fact, time increases the humor. For those unfamiliar with him, his beliefs are strong. He shoots from the hip. He is no fan of the President, is staunchly single, loves pot and hates religion (just to name a few). Yet he has said on many occasions all are welcome . His is the voice we need in these disturbing times. The world spins fast and he keeps pace with the ever changing landscape. His timing is impeccable, his delivery as sharp and crisp as that first time on Carson. The subjects closest to his heart are tackled with insight and feeling. He brings you into the conversation while never making it seem like he s preaching. This show is worth your time. This show is worth your money. Enjoy a night with Bill Maher. If nothing else, you will leave the theatre with many things to discuss\u2026.and that s just what he wants you to do.

DAR Constitution Hall is a beautiful venue and Bill really seemed to be enjoying himself in DC Saturday night. I love his Real Time show on HBO, but he s even better as a stage performer as his body language makes his comedy even funnier. Wicked political humor as always and great stuff about himself.

Bill Maher never fails to delight his audiences. He tells it like it is. That is refreshing in today environment. He is definitely not for the feint of heart. I have seen Bill Maher 3 times and I have been pleased with the performance every time. I will definitely come see him again.

Bill repeated a lot of comments and jokes he s has said on his show.

Decades of perfecting his craft have brought Bill Maher to a pinnacle -- his latest one man show is one for the ages. Beneath the non-stop laughter there is both a deeply-rooted honesty and, yes, a personal wisdom to his commentary. At the age of 62, more than any other social commentator in America, he's become our contemporary Mark Twain -- it's a show you don't want to miss.

Maher did an amazing job with no opening act. He held the audience and generated a strong response combo of laughter and applause. I would definitely go to another venue to see him.

Bill Maher is always funny. We were led right to our seats, great big screen tv showing a closeup of the act, BUT the sound was great at times, and NOT good at others, and could barely hear Bill. Put a mic on his face instead of in his hand.. he got a few inches too far down by chest with mic and it was very difficult to hear. It should have been corrected by the sound guy mid-act, but was not.

Bill Maher is one of my favorites. He did not dissapoint. He was totally Politically Incorrect and entertaining.

Good show / if you're a Bill Maher fan. You won't be disappointed. No opening act. Bill is on stage for s full 90 min.

I really like Bill Maher and his show but was surprised at how disappointed I was that he wasn't as funny. Or maybe it was distracting that he was so high he kept rubbing his hair.

Show started almost 30 minutes late and then was less than an hour. Could not believe the time when he walked off the stage! I watch Bill every week, and the amount of new / original material for the show was maybe 10%. I laughed when I heard them the first time the day before. It did not help that the venue charged $5 for half a can of soda.

I have to say I have seen his movie about GOD and seen him live before ... but to see him on his knees praying to god about the election gives me a smile daily :D Politically incorrect and I love him for it!!!

For those that need an evening of common sense intelligence, Bill Maher is your perfect night out. A little lewd, somewhat crude, very sarcastic and (for me) politically spot on, Bill Maher hits on all that ails us in liberal America which, at this writing, is Trump. As women, men, blacks, whites, gays and Republicans were skewered, our Nashville crowd laughed and laughed. Laughed hysterically until Maher mentioned the Lord. At the mention of Jesus in a humorous light, the "walking out" began. So for those politically liberal and "religiously" conservative, this may not be the best show. Yet it isn't as it Bill Maher's act is new. Before purchasing tickets, homework can be done. But for those that love a healthy dose of politically incorrect, this IS your show of shows!

Bill Maher hands down fabulous. His show was totally great. Enjoyed it totally. I am a big fan of his for years and watch his HBO show and was thrilled I got to see him LIVE!! The venue The Fillmore was okay. Not totally happy with the valet parking which was horrible! A better system needs to be put into place and they need a better staff. It was too sparse. I would not go back unless someone very special like Bill Maher was having an event!

I LOVE HIM - HE's THE BEST! I didn't have the best seats, but I got the best available and it honestly didn't matter where I sat that night. Anyone in the Theater was going to have the most amazing night. I truly enjoyed every single moment.

Bill Maher is awesome in person. If you enjoy Real Time on HBO, then you'll love seeing him in person. The audience was very vocal and Bill had the best responses. The venue at Humphrey's is great. The seats, however, appear to be rented folding chairs that are extremely uncomfortable, so it's good the show is only about 1-1/2 hour. Seat location was great. The seats, however, are uncomfortable folding chairs that are zip-tied together, so close, that you are forced to be pressed into the person next to you. This could be easily fixed, Humphrey's!

This was the best example of intelligent stand up I've ever witnessed. Bill Maher was right on!

We watch Bill Maher weekly on HBO. He is a terrific comedian on the subjects of politics and religion but these are the same topics he covers on TV.

Although I wish people would stay in their seats while the show is going on. And why do people come to a 8pm show.. 45 minutes late??? So annoying!

I have seen Bill Maher before, twice before . One of those times he as hysterical and one time he was ok. (I think he was too stoned) This time from the moment he came out on stage until the last joke, we all laughed non-stop. He was just Hysterical. Spot on Political humor, amazing observations, just freaking funny. Don't miss this tour.

BILL MAHER WAS GREAT. MY FACE HURT FROM LAUGHING. HE CHEATED THE AUDIENCE OUT OF 15 MINUTES. SHOW SHOULD HAVE BEGUN AT 8 NOT 815. IT'S VERY EXPENSIVE TO SEE HIM LIVE AND 15 MINUTES IS A LOT OF TIME.

After missing out in 2010... wasn't able to attend even though I had tickets, I really enjoyed his show and point of view. If you're any where near the right, you'll be offended. Nearly hour 45 with no warm up, just a binder crammed full of great stuff. Bill has a gift of bringing forward the obvious that the right refuse to acknowledge. I just recently got my free HBO back. Real Time has always been a favorite show. Following Bill on fb was my only read into his views.

Best part of attending a Bill Maher performance is meeting the other people who have come to see Bill Maher perform. Does a heart good to see so many like minded, intelligent, tolerant, critical thinkers clustered about in one place. This ain't the 60's man, but there wasn't even a hint of the herb wafting about the air outdoors to fire-up the munchies to score some deliciousness from the taco trucks before showtime. Long Beach is a great city for this kind of entertainment. It is evolving from the old white, conservative, narrow thinking, oil industry focused bigoted brutal city overshadowed by Los Angeles and it's other beach cities. As Bill notes in his shtick, the country is changing, like it or not. A lot of his act was re-hashed older stuff, but that's ok, it's still relevant and still funny. Made me miss George Carlin, but thankful we have Bill Maher.

Bill Maher came to West Virginia for the first time in 31 years, and he didn't disappoint. First off, I expected the show to be about an hour, so I was more than pleasantly surprised when he ended up going for two hours straight (took the stage at 8:45, and didn't leave until close to 11:00). Covered all his greatest hits, from bashing on Republicans to remembering Sarah Palin's stupidest moments to, of course, religion. He knew he was in a very red, red state, but that didn't mean he changed his act one bit. And the audience who paid money to see him appreciated it. Some jokes were recycled (but fit perfectly in the act), but there was a LOT of new material, and I (along with the rest of the crowd) was laughing and entertained the whole time. Maher is a guy who could easily coast on his name and go out there and give 50% and get away with it. But instead, he came out to a crowd in a small city in a small state, and gave them his very best. For that, he gets 5 stars and then some.

A very fast two hours. We laughed the whole time. Nothing is sacred with Mr. Maher. Much funnier in person because of more limitations on TV. Very animated.

Bill Maher is a political comedic genius! Great performance and great facility.

This is the first time I have ever been to the Hard Rock Live so as far as the venue is concerned I have no complaints. Easy to get around and find seats; kind of impossible to have bad seats since venue is small. Now this is also my first time seeing Bill Maher live so I was extremely ecstatic. He was amazing and definitely made me laugh, although if I wasn't such a big fan I might have been more bothered by his performance. He repeated a lot of jokes that I have heard in the past and that I saw on his TV show just a couple of days before. Luckily the jokes make me laugh regardless but if I go all the time to see him I might be really annoyed and disappointed. So for a first timer it was phenomenal but if I were to see him for a second time and again heard the same jokes again I would be really disappointed.

I almost threw up from laughing from start to end. Few jokes were cheap while most of them were really smart and targeted the sad reality of current America. It was really refreshing not to mention really (REALLY!) current as it discussed the Republican National Convention less than a week after it took place. I will always love Bill's approach to religion and this was no exception. Worth every penny!

Bill Maher proved why he's the best at what he does. He's smart, funny and always informative. Sure, his show was politically charged, but he has a way of breaking things down so that when (if) you apply simple logic, you realize how out of touch a certain party is with the rest of the country and the world! If you don't want to hear Bill discuss politics, then don't go to his show. If you're a fan of his HBO show "Real Time", you won't be disappointed. He did almost 90 minutes and there was never a dull moment! We had great seats, a few rows back from the stage, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Bill was much better in person than I expected. Freed from the constraints of his show, and the guests to whom he must devote time, Bill was able to be himself. The result? A show that was entertaining from start to finish, and left me wanting more when the curtain came down.

Bill was excellent. He delivery was smooth and jokes were funny. You will get what you pay for. I always go see him when he comes to DC. Show started about 20 minutes past posted time which is why I didn't give 5 stars.

Bill Maher used old material from 2017 stand up show now televised on HBO. Its disappointing to purchase a ticket, travel and pay for parking for what I had already watched comfortably from my living room.

We were still laughing for hours afterwards! Absolutely awesome show!!

Bill Maher's brand of confident comedy is refreshing and for the most part spot on. If you, no matter what your politics, can't take a little truth in jest, stay home. This was a highly energetic show with hilarious and at times sardonic humor. We loved it. It was packed full house. Keep up the political skewering Bill. You're fab.

Bill Maher is a commentator and prophet for our times. Only nitpick I have is that about 15-20 minutes of his shtick was rehashed from his nationally televised show from Tulsa a week earlier. Otherwise, great show and much needed.

Bill was funny and he was real down to earth. I really enjoyed the show.

HANDs Down funniest, edgiest comedy I ve ever seen

So prior to the show, we had heavy rains in Texas and Oklahoma, so to only be 15 min late was impressive. Then his monitor was so high above him and having issues, Bill forged on. Then someone in the audience had an emergency that required Bill to stop for 20 minutes, yet Bill bounced right back into his routine. Bill was great. The venue, specifically the seating, was tight and uncomfortable. After all these big shows and millions in profits, one would think Winstar could put in theatre seating. In spite of the terrible chairs, I would highly recommend the show unless you see it on HBO, as every single joke and reaction were identical, in which case you can get the exact same show in the comfort of your home

Bill was amazing, I could not stop laughing, seen many comedians but, with Bill I laughed at all. I will see him again

Plane late due to weather. Medical emergency in the audience which required an ambulance. Throughout it all Bill Maher was unbelievable! He hits the nail on the head about the condition of our country! I d go again and again!

The fact that someone collapsed during his show and the ambulance was called. Bill was respectful stopped everything until the person was taken out. Even when people where cheering for him. He stopped them and said let s get this taken care of first. Even when some jerk started screaming tthat this is America and we have resources to get the man on a stretcher and get him out of there. Security stopped him immediately and escorted him away. 20 minutes later after Bill asked us to applaud the first responders the show went on. I will definitely see Bill again without a doubt!

What a stupendous comedian! I laughed hard and loud because he was so funny. I watch him on HBO some times and I knew this would be the best concert in the series. Thanks for bringing him to WinStar!!

Was late 30 minutes due to weather. Then the teleprompter was above the stage so he had to look up to see what was next. Then unfortunately some in the audience got ill and stopped the show for 30 minutes (not the person fault). Bill did a good job watching to assure treatment was provided. Lighting seemed poor for Bill had to move in and out of the shadows.. His performance was very good and those attending liked him. Not sure if room was best suited though.

If you are a Bill Maher fan the show was what you would expect. Several things happened that should not be held against Bill Maher. First, the show was 30 minutes late starting due to weather conditions in the Thackerville Ok area keeping Mr. Maher from arriving. I would have thought that Mr. Maher would have arrived earlier than 30 minutes before the show. Secondly, there was an illness in the audience that stopped the show maybe 30 minutes after it started for at least another 30 minutes. Seating in the arena was horrendous, very small chairs and people packed in like sardines.

I bought these tickets for my husband's birthday. We had such a good time - despite the (brief) delay in starting due to the bad weather, and the delay during the show due to the medical emergency from an audience member (yes, it was that kind of night!). He was spot-on and so funny in his comments. The audience was with him from the start, and even that medical emergency didn't dampen anyone's spirits to continue on (the person ended up all right, from what we were told). He is a professional, and yet ad libs with the audience and makes you feel like he's just coming up with this stuff, even though you know he's got it down pat. He's a funny, intelligent man. Worth the money. Worth the trip. Worth the time.

Bill Maher was awesome but I do get he is not for everyone. Winstar's AV dept needs to work on their lighting issue. Have the show, Bill was in the in the shadows and very hard to see.

Bill Maher was outstanding, but the venue lighting was terrible.

Bill was having a bad day. His flight was delayed due to bad weather, the teleprompter required him to look straight up to the sky to see it, and an audience member had a medical emergency in the front row. Despite (or because of?) these misadventures, Bill was at his funniest! I've never laughed so hard & was incredibly sad when the show ended. Thanks for the relief from this crazy world, Bill!

The show was very good - we watch every Friday night so knew what to expect. I felt bad for Bill (and the guy who had the health emergency) but he recovered well. He needs to go across the nation to get people fired up enough to vote out our existing administration. The venue needed to do better at the teleprompter and the lighting - was really bad.

Bill Maher is great. Unfortunately the venue had lighting issues but I d see Bill in the dark if I had to!

Bill Maher was excellent! SO much more personable, likable, funny and animated LIVE than he is on his awesome TV show. Go see him if you can! It would've been nice if this ticket had indicated which entrance to go in. The Winstar Casino is literally a mile long, so going in the wrong entrance can mean a very long walk to the venue.

Weather delayed the start of the show by 30 minutes. After a telelprompter problem Bill was finally able to get into his act. Around 30 minutes in the show a person in the audience had a medical energy & paramedics were called. Bill stayed on stage & watched to make sure the person was properly taken care of . It was unnerving for the audience, but Bill, professional that he is, was able to continue his show & make things right with the crowd. He made an impression on us that we ll never forget. And btw he s damn funny too!!!!
