Mary J. Blige showed way she is an ICON and we're truly glad we made it to the show.

Hands down without a doubt Mary did her thing as usual.

Loved it, she really put her all into her show. If you have never seen her in concert you should. You will love it.

I loved the concert! Robin Thicke and Mary J. Blige are two of my favorite artists.

Jazz in the Gardens was the first event this year my fiance and I attended. We're Miami Gardens natives and decided to come to Jazz in the Gardens for our first time experience. We're so glad that we did because we really enjoyed ourselves, the beautiful weather and the cultural atmosphere. The people, food, music and performances were so amazing. We had such a great time, we've recommended Jazz in the Gardens to our family and friends. We're definitely looking forward to attending next year.

The time in between band change is too long and the DJ wasn't doing a good job to keep me entertain. The performers were good

Wonderful event! Good line up of artists building the anticipation level through the evening, the three main performers were incredible, Teena Marie (still can belt it out), and of course Robin Thicke was great, but Mary J Blige's performance was fantastic, she gave 100% an incredibly moving performance.

The event attempted to stay on schedule but again the last act was more than hour off track. Many people were leaving as the lasty event started. The artists were of course great. I purchased the priome seating and we had and others had to wait for about 10-15 minutes before we were allowed to enter becaus they ran out of green wrist bands. The drinks were way to expensive. $4 for a soda $11 for one alcholic drink $8 for a beer.

The show was HOTT!!! 'Don't understand why Teena was cut short and we had to wait an half hour for Robin Thick and wait an hour for Mary J. Even with the wait, it was all worth it. I traveled from Virginia to be there and I was not disappointed. I thought it was organized and planned very well.

Waiting for Mary J. Blige was worth the endless wait times between acts. The lag time was way too long. More Port a Potties should have been available for the huge crowds/ If the stage needs to be set up then maybe music videos or some comedians could have kept the crowd engaged. Vendor prices were outrageous. Now despite all of the above negative the concert on a whole was Very Positive and up lifting. I would love to see this event continue and I am certain that the above critiques would be corrected as the event gets more experienced. Thanks Miami Gardens for a wonderful time. Many kudos to MAry J. Blige who is truly a professional and oh yes Teena Marie did her thing really well.

The event was great! Teena Marie, Robin Thicke, K'Jon and Mary j were great. There were so many people dancing and having a great. Everyone was doing the electric slide in the aisles. This was my first time attending. I can't wait to get tix for next year.

The concert overall was orrery good just wish it was not such a long day. I could have done without the circus. Too long of a wait between the main artist a bit silly.

Ever see Robin Thicke rap along to "A Millie" by Lil Wayne? Ever get a chance to hear Mary J Blige run through almost an hour worth of songs? The good news is that for a mere $40 plus parking...you can catch a lineup of good musicians and artists for an ole fashioned good time at this outdoor event sponsored by the City of Miami Gardens. Each passing year brings a bigger turnout. Be prepared to be there from 4:00pm to midnight, however, there are vendors, food, and drinks to keep you occupied. It's also a great people watching opportunity. The vibe is very care-free and relaxed. Cons: weather? food and drinks are pricey...there can be downtime between musical acts.....cigarette and weed smoke. Other than that....a great time for adults and couples!!!!

the show itself was good. but it was unorganized. the performers wasn't on time-according to the program. there were technical difficulties with the mics, one performers piano sound, and with the visuals. they played music, then on the tv the sponsors would say words then back to the dj. also unnecessary speakers, such as miss miami gardens, people didn't want to hear her talk! it was ok. if the better organize it, it would be great. it was a huge turn out.! maybe next year i might attend again. we shall see!!!!!!!!!

Mary J left her blood sweat and tears on the stage. She made you laugh, cry, and motivated all at the same time. Simply outstanding.

This years jazz in the gardens was even better than last years; last year was fantastic!

Mary J. Blige was incredible, as were Robin Thicke, K'Jon and Joe Sample! Teena Marie, not so much and she went so far over time that Mary J. Blige did not go on stage until 11:45 p.m. instead of 10:50 p.m...not good planning. Parking was a disaster and took over 45 minutes. Much too long.

I was so honored to attend thisevent! The performers were awesome and the event itself was well planned and organized. The atmosphere was enjoyable. The people were nice and the food was great. I will definitely attend next year!

The entire line-up and vibe was wonderful. Even though I am not a fan of all of the artists, they each put on great shows and I would love to attend next year. People were upset about the time between the artists, but it's a great concert at a great price, and waits are expected everywhere, so the complaining was a little too much for me.

Real good soul line-up this year, not much jazz, but great anyhow. Teena Marie was ROCKING THE HOUSE!!! And Mary J. was worth waiting for. Unfortunately the seating was rough, you should bring your own if GA and people in the front need to buy two seats to feel comfortable for this ten hour concert.

teena marie was great. she still has a fantastic voice. when she sang rick james songs it was awsom. i would really like to see more of her.

Performances were absolutely fantastic! One recommendation, have bathrooms available on both sides of the venue, Also, when a performance is delayed, especially an hour, out of consideration to the 1000's of people who paid an explantion or apology should have been given by the host, etc.

Although the performers were great, two things stood out 1. Mary J. Blige did not come on stage until 11:55pm over an hour later than she was scheduled and Tom Joyner spent about a half hour on stage. Although I wasn't there to see Tom Joyner, I really believe if you advertise this event as something you will be hosting, I expect you to host it. I think Tom Joyner is corny anyway but it was something that caught my attention. The last issue was the sound engineer. There were more than a half dozen times when there were technical difficulties with the sound. Robin Thicke's piano wasn't turned on. He tried to sing it without the piano which was interrupted by a loud sound. The DJ between performers was not great at all. I was expecting someone who could move the crowd between performers. He was unable to keep the audience energized and up out of their seat. I hope they will read this comments to improve next years show.

This was our first Jazz in the Gardens, we attend the Jamaica Jazz and Blues in Jamaica each January. We arrived and went to get something to eat. This should be addressed as there is much of the same thing, but the vendors are too far away from the stage. VARIETY. However, my review is of the performances and they were first class. Teena Marie stole the show, Sorry Mary J and Robin, you are the man, but Teena Marie, she was outstanding. Her tribute to Rick James was touching and the music well, you had to be there to know what I am writing about. Head out to Jazz in the Gardens, well worth it!!

I would go and c her in concert anytime. She sounds just like her records and it was non stop entertainment. The event overall has gotten so big it was hard to enjoy. Long lines to park and eat. Not sure if I will be returning next year.

THE PERFORMANCES WERE GREAT, ESPECIALLY MARY AND ROBIN, BUT MY ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THE VERY LONG WAIT BETWEEN SHOWS. OVERALL ME AND MY FRIENDS HAD A GOOD TIME, THIS WAS MY SECOND YEAR AND I PLAN TO ATTEND NEXT YEARS EVENT.

The highlight of the day for me was Robin Thicke. Have seen Mary several times before, and she's always great, but Thicke was a first. He was amazing! He sounds wonderful live, and has lots of personality... I love the way he interacted w/ the crowd. Downsides?? The concert is NEXT to the stadium, not in it, so the audience is seated at the same level. Meaning that from the general admission area (even at the very front) it's impossible to see the stage. Great show... totally not worth the money since you have to watch it on the jumbo-tron. I'm going to be looking for another chance to see him in a real concert, ASAP!

I just loved Mary J. Blige's performance. I just wish she would have come by herself, I still remember the love and life tour (she rocked it). Keep doing what you are doing Mary!!!

Stay away from concert venue Kool Haus . This unprofessional slippery establishment had patrons waiting outside for an hour (the show was to start at 9:00pm) to get into a concert and has no seating accommodations. By 10:00pm some MC announced some DJ would be playing records. About 30 minutes after that the MC introduced a local 12 year old singer who sang two songs. Then another DJ came out to play more records. Two other supposedly local acts performed a few songs each. Then more waiting for Mary J Blige. Finally by midnight Mary J Blige was on stage, sang 4 songs and said good night. Kool Haus played DJ d music the rest of the night. Mary J Blige didn t show until 3 hours later then stated on the tickets. Patrons stood for hours. Mary J Blige sang 4 songs then left for the evening. $110.00 US down the drain.

When I say she is the Best I mean she is the BEST!!! I have seen her 5 times and have yet to be disappointed!! She puts on a show from start to finish!! She does songs from every album!! She has a great show!!!

Wish she would have song more songs from her BreakThrough, Growing Pains, MyLife II allbums too because those have great songs in them Be Without You, Living Proof, 25/8, Mr Wrong, FadeAway, Work In Progress, GrownWoman to name a few!!!! First time attending concert at this venue. Seatting was a little snug, but once she started singing I didn't sit down, probably during her outfit changes.

She did a amazing show. #goodtimes would go again.

Everytime Mary comes to Miami. I make it my business to watch her perform. She's always an amazing and inspiring person to see. She's not afraid of putting her feelings out there, she's not afraid of telling the world how to do better, learn from your mistakes and grow. I love her as an artist! We're all a work in progress....

I must say, I truly love Mary. But I was a little disappoint with this show. It was suppose to started at 8:00pm. But it started at 8:45pm instead. And it was set to end at 11:00pm. The show was over at 10:08pm. However, she did put on a awesome show as always tho.

This was my first time seeing Mary perform and she did not disappoint! She poured her heart and soul out on the stage and I loved every minute of it!

It was a wonderful experience and looking forward to the next event.

I'm a huge MJB fan and the show was amazing! The seating was awesome I was in section 103 row c seat 11, the meet and greet was short but sweet and I thanked her for rescheduling due to Hurricane Harvey. Anytime MJB comes to Houston I will going to see her because I know I won't be disappointed!

Now about the venue- it's nice overalls, but getting in and out of the parking lot is a nightmare- no organized way of getting in or out. It took forever to to get out...

MJB never disappoints. Professional, connects with the audience. Class Act. I thought my VIP was to meet Ms Blige but it was only for merchandise. Sad. Show was awesome. Venue is beautiful. Traffic control getting out was very good.

This show was so worth the 10-hr drive from WA State. It was our 3rd time seeing Lalah Hathaway and our 2nd time seeing MJB. The venue was fantastic; an intimate theater as opposed to an arena. Both ladies were fantastic!! I'm a huge fan of Lalah and can hardly wait for the new album to drop. Mary J was pure energy on the stage and a joy to watch. If you have the chance to catch the show, DO IT!!

This was her best concert performance out of all of them. Her energy was powerful and positive. She is definitely an all time favorite.

It was an amazing concert! I drove down from Ok and it was well worth the drive. Lalah's voice is amazing!! She is a beautiful lady! Queen Mary brought it that night. She is such an inspiration to all women who have been hurt or taken advantage of in a relationship. She showed us that we CAN and we WILL be alright! GO MARY!!

Really enjoyed the show wish that it could had been longer.

I went with a group of friends and was actually most excited about the opening act, Lalah Hathaway. Well, we were late so we missed Lalah. But, honey, Mary made it all worthwhile. I matured alongside Mary and she has been one artist who has contributed to the soundtrack of My Life. I'm so glad I went to the show!

I've always been a fan of Mary, this was my second time seeing her live, this time I took two of my girl friends and they both equally enjoyed her concert. She has good showmanship and gives all she has. She performs.close to 2 hours and she is breath taking, the audience were on their feet the entire show.

I wish I could have heard more songs and I am use to my girl changing more than twice but voice, energy, environment and sound system was amazing!!!!! Especially since I was celebrating my birthday weekend. What a great gift to myself.

From the moment she stepped on the stage, to wardrobe changes, she kept the crowd hyped and wanting more. The crowd participated in songs that they knew and sung their hearts out as well. This was my first concert but will definitely not be my last! Great singing Mary and great seats to see it all happen. Excellent night.

I had never saw her in concert before. Watching her on stage live and in color was an experience I'll never forget. She really showed out and having Lala Hathaway open for her was a very good adage. The crowd participation was on point and I'm so glad to have been a part of it all.

I saw Mary J. Blige at NYC - The Theatre at Madison Square Garden, I was 2nd row and she killed it!!!! :D The stage set up was great, her clothes were great! She gave a great show to her hometown. I love Mary!!!! I am going to see her again in Kentucky next month! Well worth my money!

I am a huge Mary J fan. Every time she comes to Jacksonville I am there. I think this was the best I have ever seen her. Sometimes hurt, pain and tribulations will birth something awesome and this show was a testament to that. Love you Mary stay strong and know that God got you.

Mary J. left it all on the stage. I appreciated her transparency. She's going through something and she allowed herself a moment to be "held" by her fans. Her band was great!!! I would have liked to see more energy from the Backing Vocalists, but that may have been because Mary's energy was through the roof! This was my first MJB experience and now I'm an even bigger fan!!!

Mary J. was great and she poured her heart out in all the songs she sang. The women was really into what she was talking about. More of the strength of a woman. When Mary came out everyone was screaming out her name. In some of her words she was done wrong. She just hasn't found me. ;-) So people don't know what they have been missing till it's gone. Her outfit was on the money. She was looking good and I was enjoying all the songs she was singing. My cousins was enjoying it as well.

It was my first time going to one of her concert I brought the ticket for my wife anniversary and I must admit I will be looking forward to any upcoming concert she has in the future, wow I'm going for the front row next time

I had a very good time at the show Mary was excellent the ultimate singer. I love her whole Black & White ensemble with those shaes outfit. Fly as she wanna be. She gave me my monies worth.
