Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) is an American progressive rock band founded in 1996 by Paul O'Neill. The Washington Post has called them "an arena-rock juggernaut", describing their music as "Pink Floyd meets The Who and Andrew Lloyd Weber." 2014 marks the first time they will be touring their all new live rock opera “The Christmas Attic”. This new show features songs that have never been performed live as well as fan favorites including 'Wizards In Winter, 'Requiem' and 'Christmas Eve/ Sarajevo 12/24'".

This was my first time experiencing TSO. I say experiencing as this is more than just a concert. This is a show not to be missed. The story, the singing, the theatrics, the light show, the list goes on and on. If you get the chance, you should experience Trans-Siberian Orchestra at least once in your lifetime.

Finally got to see them live, in St.Paul, MN on the final date of their Winter Tour. 1 of the best shows I have been to, & I have seen some of the biggest bands with the biggest production. Great music told with a great story, performed by some of the best musicians in the business, & the stage production was excellent. TSO is way more then "Christmas Eve Sarajevo 12/24", & is well worth the price. This band has lots of repeat customers, & I know why. It was pure class from top to bottom. I just wonder how many of those who have fallen in love with TSO realize that they were born out of the ashes of the old progressive metal band Savatage?

They are awesome, no doubt. My only disappointment was when I was buying tickets this year, I noticed they are playing in different cities on the same dates and times. I contacted them to find out and was told there is actually two (2) Trans-Siberian Orchestras. :( This is a bit unfair to their fans... Do you know if you are actually getting the original, or their other...

I have been to see TSO everytime for the past few years. Now it just does not see like xmas till I see them. I am always so glad they come to pittsburgh so close to xmas. Anyone that has not seen them should go see the show everything is amazing. Worth every penny.

This year will be my 10th outing with Tran Siberian. They have to be the most amazing group of musicians I've ever seen and quite people-friendly. The first year we took our 4 year old son, and he stood up and "led the orchestra" when Mad Russian's Christmas started! He even loved it then! The lazers, pyro, lights and THAT SNOW! The show really cannot accurately be described, you HAVE TO see it! You will be amazed!

This will be 4 years in a row we will see them at the World Arena. Amazing experience to go along with a wonderous show. Probably better for older children, as the music is loud and the light show is brilliant. Took my son when he was 9, then took my wife and two children the next two years and they all loved it. It is truely a remarkable show/experience. Even older poeple in the crowd were loving it. It make you feel the tradition and true meaning of Christmas. The band reaches out to the audience during the show, and usually has a autographing presentation after the show. If your children play music, I am sure they will love it even more. These guys rock.

These guys are nuts they just pour everything into their music! Running and jumping all over, its just wild. There is even a twist of humor in the storylines without ruining the message! It takes a couple of days for your brain to catch up on what you saw!

This was my first time seeing TSO and it was without a doubt the most amazing performance I have ever seen. From the instruments, vocals, and special affects, it was just unbelievable. There was not one part of the entire performance that I felt fell short in any way. I was sitting in section 104 about half way up and I could feel everything from the music to all the special affects. I can now officially tell other folks just how outstanding they are and that they should see them any chance they get. Very impressive.

This was our families first time seeing the Trans-Siberian Orchestra at the XCEL Energy Center. They had two different show times of 3:30pm and 8:00pm. Both shows were sold out. We were in the 28th row on the floor in the center section. I would highly recommend these seats!! Our 14 year old loved the pyro and stage/light show, while I was hooked by amazing talent of the performers and the flying v guitar!! I have been to many concerts in the past including Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, etc. and have to say this one out ranks them all. Best of all, the TSO donates $1.00 of every ticket sale back to the community where the concert is held. The Minneapolis/St. Paul chapter of the Salvation Army received a check for over $22,000.00 from ticket sales. We will without a doubt see them again!!

Best Music & light show around! This show is not for the people who can t handle lights flaring, loud music, and flames! I always get seats in the back of venue so I can enjoy the entire lazer light show. When they come to MN I make sure I go see them. Best show ever!

TSO has a solid reputation as a mix of rock and classical music. There are the 80s hair-band moments which are cheesy but fun, and the awesome music with the orchestra behind the rousing rock rhythms. These are all great musicians, with a large team creating the sounds & special effects like fire & fireworks & even a film. Though I don't care much for the sappy solo singer bits, I'm sure there were others who did. I like a few of the singers, but preferred the straight rock-classical blend which is fantastic. But by adding more singers of various styles to the ensemble they are able to please a large & diverse crowd. Overall great show.

First TSO concert, seats were close together at this venue, but the view was absolutely stunning. We were close enough to feel the flames. The lasers, pyrotechnics, and other effects were over the top. Food and beverages were a little pricey, but expected at this type of event, and venue. Music and storytelling were awesome, and even caught the first guitar pick of the night. Gave it to my date, which got me the biggest smile I d ever seen. Overall I would do this show again.

My 5th time to see TSO was just as fantastic as the first. I was very saddened by the passing of Paul O'Neil and David Z, however the show just rocked. Anyone looking for an unforgettable show---This is a MUST see. Incredibly talented group of musicians not to mention the numerous crews that work together to put on this event. I definitely intend to see them for the 6th time next year and would recommend a TSO concert to anyone who enjoys great music and sound along with unbelievable visual effects.

I have been attending concerts for 40 years. I would have to say TSO ranks second to Pink Floyd. TSO's effects were off the hook. The vocals were amazing! They were definitely worth going to see. The only negative was starting 45 minutes late.

Took a few years to see TSO and it was well worth the wait at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fl. Everyone knows their music but the light show and video graphics in itself you must see it live. All The youtube videos out there cannot do it justice. The big surprise was all of the female singers who did solo's were just outstanding. The TSO group were most of the original players. A second road show at the same time was playing in Philadelphia. You'll not be disappointed with the show no matter who's playing.

TSO yet again did not disappoint in any fashion! First of all, if you've never been to their concerts previously, this year was an all out Treat for the holidays! If you have previously attended, then you know what to expect and this year they blew the lid off of that level. Great choreography between all aspects of the presentation and the vocals were true to form spectacular. Every year, I get a little bit closer to the stage and this year was no exception, as I was on the floor. Since the stage really is all encompassing over the closes floor section, it was right above and the feel was the best yet. 2018 TSO was one event NOT TO BE MISSED!!! I'll see you yet again next year :)

This show was absolutely AMAZING The energy level of all the performers was nothing short of stellar.The music, the singing, the lasers and lights all combine to create a complete immersion of the senses. The songs and the lyrics are moving and thought provoking If you have not yet experienced a TSO concern, (this was our fourth) then I highly recommend that you make plans to do so next year... The tunes and the lyrics will live on in your head, long after the show is over.
