Miranda Cosgrove

Miranda Cosgrove

Teenage actress Miranda Cosgrove launched her music career in 2007, when she scored a hit with the theme song to her own TV show. Born in Los Angeles on May 14, 1993, she began her acting career at a young age, appearing in several commercials as well as the pilot episode of Smallville. Her breakthrough role came in 2002, when she played the role of Summer Hathaway in the film School of Rock, a comedy hit starring Jack Black. In the wake of School of Rock's success, she was cast in a supporting role on the children's television sitcom Drake & Josh (as Drake and Josh's kid sister, Megan Parker), which was broadcast by Nickelodeon from 2004 to 2008.

I origanally bought these tickets for my daughter as a gift therefore since she is young I had to accompany her. I will say that Miranda Cosgrove is a very spirited performer for which kept the children entartained all throughtout the show. I have seen many performers over the years and must say that I would put Miranda Cosgrove among the top five performers that I have seen in my lifetime. This was my daughters first concert for which she is very much into music like myself and she was overwhelmed by Miranda's performance. My daughter even as much as asked me if this is how a concert should be and my response was absolutely. I will say that there was only one thing for my daughter asked me about that I had to answer honestly. With my daughter being a huge fan of Miranda Cosgrove or iCarly as she calls her happened to bring her some flowers. Towards the end of the show my daughter went to the stage to give her the flowers though iCarly shrugged it off as not even acknowledging her. I will say from over the years of seeing many different artists from alot of different genres iCarly is the only one who has been unappreciative to her fans. I could see this from adult performers though iCarly appeals to young girls who look up to her so for her to to such a thing I feel was a little rude.

I bought the tickets for my daughter and this would be her first concert. She loved watching ICarly and so what better way to have her experience her first concert....seeing someone she already loved watching and singing with! Miranda was very age appropriate and was very professional. She got the audience excited and up on their feet. She also interacted with the audience and her dancers were great too! It was so nice to see that she brought kids from the audience up on stage to have them dance with her! What a pleasure it was seeing her. I think I loved it as much as my daughter did! I have already spoken highly of the concert and now my friends are watching for her to come back around!

the only reason this event won't go down in history as the worst concert ever is because it was at the Uptown Theater , my favorite venue in KC for seeing concerts ~ My 6 yr old daughter had a good time and ultimately that IS ALL that matters ...... I wasn't expecting to have a wonderful music experience given the performer I was watching but Miranda Gosgrove, whom I am a big fan of as an actress by the way, is no singer. Yes, she is adorable and likable and her songs have a little girl pop appeal but her voice is no better then my 10 yr old son's ....... he can't sing either! I don't understand why a concert that draws a crowd of young girls in the 5-14 age range even needs an opening act ...... start the show at 7 pm and get finished so these kids can get to bed ! My daughter wasn't there to see the Greyson kid and she had no interest in him ...... for those that are fans of his, give him his own concert. My other complaint was the price of the t-shirts ...... $40.00 seriously? For a childs small t-shirt ? Miranda is a very talented comedic actress and she should really stick to that !

My son and I really enjoyed the concert. It was upbeat and kept the crowd involved and having fun. Her voice was awesome and the on stage extras kept it very entertaining. Definately worth seeing and would go again if she is in the area.

Miranda voice was amazing. She did a great job getting the crowd involved especially on the song "BAM". Her dancers on stage were incredible. We missed out on getting VIP tickets for the meet and greet. We waited outside in very cold weather as my son was wishing and dreaming to meet Miranda. Miranda did not come out but her opening act Chance Greyson did come out and talk to the fans. One of Miranda's dancers came out and talk to us, which was very nice.

I took my soon-to-be 7-year-old daughter to the show, and we had a great time. She sand a couple of covers that were fun for everyone, and she sang some of her own music that the kids knew. It wasn't too big of a show and it didn't drag on too long. It was perfect for her audience, and it wasn't a total drag for the adults. She was energetic and put on a great show! We're glad she made KC her first stop!

We spent precious money to take our family to see Miranda in Tucson, AZ, and I have to say what a let-down. After sitting through 2 terrible opening acts, she came on stage for 20 minutes, sang 5 or 6 songs, and was done. Not what I call "getting out money's worth!" My 7 year-old was in tears because that's all she did. I think Miranda lost a fan!! I would rate lower than 1 star, but can't.

Miranda Cosgrove's Dancing Crazy concert was awesome! All of my friends would have loved to go and see her at this concert. It was the best experience of my life. During her Meet and Greet she was very sweet to me and all the other guests. She seemed like a very down to earth person and just happy to meet some of her fans.

I brought my teen sister and her 2 friends to the concert, one of which has never gone to a concert. Lucky us, we were able to meet both her opening act, the very talented Greyson Chance as well as Miranda who was such a sweetheart! Would definitely recommend this concert to anyone who loves iCarly, Miranda, or Greyson.

Greyson Chance (opening act; 12 year old boy) is the most talented little boy I have ever heard. Some compare him to Justin Bieber but their styles and genres are so different they really cannot be compared. Greyson Chance just plays some amazing piano and sings to half his songs and it works. He also does a few songs with his band. Greyson was very personable- he shook hands with people in the crowd, pointed out signs that girls made, and did a meet 'n greet during intermission, giving autographs, hugs, and taking pictures with fans. I've been a fan of Miranda Cosgrove since she played in the TV show "Drake and Josh", so to see her sing was a real treat. She had 3 outfit changes throughout her set- she really likes black and sparkly things. Her songs are appropriate for the younger audience but her energy level can get everyone in the place excited. At the end during the Dancing Crazy song, Greyson comes out again to join Miranda and confetti was shot out into the crowd. *Miranda's band is members of the Click Five, a boy band very popular about 6 years ago; also stars of the movie "Taking 5". The concert lasted exactly 2 hours (including the 1/2 hour intermission) so it was short and sweet.

The opening guy Greyson Chance is so tallented, never heard of him until then, he is now my daughter's crush. She met him, got an autograph and a picture with him that is a memory of a lifetime. Miranda, rocked out the crowed and got everyone in the dance mood. Love the fact that she dressed like a respectable idol for my daughter who is 8. This was a great mom daughter event that will leave a lasting memory.

We had a couple challenges with being able to see the stage from our seats because the slope of the seating doesn't allow children to see over adults seated in front of them. So children were standing on chairs to see. Which was okay until one usher decided to single out a select few to sit down. When she told us to sit down, we said what about the folks in fromnt of us standing on seats and she shrugged her shoulders. In the end I went to another usher to voice my concern, She assured me that it was okay to stand and went and informed the other usher. In the end my 10 year old had fun but i will think twice about what seats I purchase at the Fraze if my daughter is attending.

The concert itself was awesome and a big hit with my step daughter. The Fraze is such a great place to go to a concert, we've been there several times! The only complaint I did have, was that there was a large screen on the back wall of the stage so you could see Miranda and the other performers a little better. That was great, except if you were off to the side. The giant speakers were in the way and you couldnt see a thing! It would have been nice for there to maybe be 2 slightly smaller screens on either side, so that everyone could see the screen. Luckily we brought binoculars so she could see her.. One other thing I will say, we were walking towards the line to get into The Fraze, and there was a worker standing on the corner, just greeting people. We went and stood in what appeared to be a line to get in. We stood there for a good 15 minutes before we realized that if you had LAWN or TERRACE seating, there was a totally different line. We ended up getting in later and not getting that great of a seat. Whereas, if we had been directed to the proper line, we may have gotten in there a little faster. all the worker had to say was, "if you have lawn or terrace seating tickets, please proceed to the line further down". Other than that, we had a blast and we'll DEFINITELY be back to see more shows! :) We're so very glad we got to see Miranda before she cancelled her tour this summer!

The way the Music Circus venue handle her appearance was borderline unforgiveable. Very clear impression was made for how Miranda Cosgrove would enter the stage, with a cluster of over 100 kids chanting and calling Mirandas name, when all of a sudden the 100 or so kids found out she was already onstage! Causing all the children to dash quickly for their seats and making viewing at your seat terrible until every one was seated. A terrible way to begin her otherwise really wonderful show.

It was HOT, HOT, HOT..... but worth every bit of sweat!!!! I love watching my 6 year old daughter (SKYLAR) dance and sing and SMILE. We took my 11 year old niece to this concert and they had the best time! Miranda & Greyson puts on such a fabulous show - the way they interact / talk to the audience is great. This is a experience I know will live with my daughter for the rest of her life.... I also have to give 5 stars to the MANN for dealing with the heat by 1) lower the price of water 2) offering free water coolers around arena & 3) running a sprinkler (that the kids absolutely had a blast running through (and as for adults getting spritz was a nice. Miranda definitely appreciates her fans & it shows all over the stage - the way she moves across the stage to each side and smiles ... makes each kid feel as though she is there to sing for them!

Took my daughter to see Miranda Cosgrove and when we purchased the tickets learned that Cody Simpson and Greyson Chance would be there too - bonus! This was her first concert and she thought that both Cody & Greyson were great but then when Miranda rocked the theater she said she blew them away! Just loved the show and the Jones Beach experience. Great place for a concert and the evening was hot, but there was a nice breeze. Perfect night and great show. I was reallty surprised how much fun this concert was. Greyson Chance had an awesome band behind him and he played some rockin', funky, danceable tunes. He played for just under 30 minutes which was perfect for an opening act. Miranda came on at 8 sharp and her set lasted just over an hour. Reading reviews from shows she's done in the past, I was a bit concerned that she was only going to perform 4 or 5 songs lasting about 30 minutes, but now that she has an album out she has enough material for a full set which made the show totally worth it. The highlights of her set for me were the songs Disgusting, Bam, Kissin' U, Dancing Crazy, Oh Oh w/ videographer filming the crowd, and the medley she sang wich included Dynamite by Taio Cruz and I've Got a Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas. She opened her set with Leave It All to Me, the theme from her hit TV show iCarly, which I guess was appropriate seeing that that's why she is as famous as she is, but it was definitely not my favorite song of the night. It was also pretty cool to see Drake Bell join her on stage for that song, and Dancing Crazy. Overall I had a great time, and would definitely go and see her again when she comes to town.

This was my 11 year old son's first concert, and I bought meet and greet tickets also. He has been a fan of iCarly since it premiered, and I have to admit I'm pretty hooked on it too! I am a seasoned concert goer, but this was my first foray into the "tween" scene. The Tampa Theatre was very quaint, but I didn't like how they held the meet and greet at the end of the hallway...either way, Miranda was a doll, and as beautiful in person as she is on tv. She told my son, "that's a really cool name!" when she autographed his DVD, and his smile was priceless! (His name is Draven). We had 4th row seats, but I don't think there was a bad seat in the house, it is a very intimate venue. I was able to take lots of good pictures. The stage seemed to be a bit crowded at times, especially when the dancers came out, but the whole show was done well. My only complaint is the ridiculous amount of money they charge for merchandise, but that seems to be at any venue. I paid the same amount of money for Miranda's shirt (for myself!) that I paid for Slash's shirt two nights later! It was a great night, and especially to have my son say at the end of the evening " I wish I could just start this night all over again!"

I purchased the meet and greet packet for my wife, child and myself. After seeing the fairly large number of other meet and greet customers, I anticipated a brief photo op and a quickly scribbled signature. I was presently surprised when Miranda gave each person a few minutes of her time and personalized each autograph. Additionally, the seats accompanying the M&G packet were excellent. If your child is a Miranda Cosgrove fan, it is well worth the price. My child is five. It was her first rock music concert. She had a blast.

I read a lot of poor reviews from previous shows. I think those people thought they were going to see a big name artist like Madonna or Taylor Swift. I didn't go there expecting anything more than a teenage TV actress who also likes to sing. I wasn't disappointed. My kids loved it. It was their first concert and they thought it was the greatest thing ever. You know, in the end, that's all that matters. Do you have a girl between the age of 5 and 15? Then take her. The excitement on her face will make it all worth it. I recommend this show.

Miranda Cosgrove is a great entertainer. She brought the energy and was so excited to perform, you couldn't help but feel the excitement. She did many of her songs that were really fun, and some favorites from her favorite pop stars. Great Show!

This was my 8 year old daughter's first concert, and she had an awesome time. Miranda put on a great show, though it seemed a little short for the money. Greyson Chance was amazing. He's got a great voice and was good with the crowd. The venue was excellent!

My kids loved the show and were very happy with Miranda's performance. Of course they loved the fact that they were able to get up on stage at the end of the final number.

Greyson Chance opened the show and is amazing!! If you don't know who he is, he is the boy who covered Lady Gaga's 'Paparazzi' on YouTube to much acclaim! His voice and talent are beyond his years! After the show, he came out of his bus in the freezing Chicago air to sign and take pictures with the fans who waited in the cold...including my niece. He was very friendly and courteous and took his time with everyone. That's how you win fans!! (Check out the pics below!) Miranda Cosgrove came out to 'Leave It All To Me', the 'iCarly' theme song. Even before the show started the Chicago fans were dancing in the aisles and were very loud! Then the place erupted when Miranda came out! I loved the show and had a blast! Every song was fun and full of energy! Miranda's voice was strong and she rocked Chicago for the next hour! Also, her band was really into this show highlighted with a rockin rendition of 'Pipeline' by the Chantay's at the first break! Great time!! Kudo's also to Miranda's backup singer for complimenting her beautifully and to the Music Director/Keytarrist, Ben Romans, for putting together a phenominal show!! I highly recommend this show! It is the first full tour for both artists! I am thrilled to have been there to see it!!

The overall experience was great. The meet and greet package was very well organized and went smoothly. It would have been nice to have a few more minutes to actually talk with Miranda but know that she had a lot of people to meet. I was most impressed on how friendly Miranda was and was so kind to my daughter who thinks she is just great. Hats off to you Miranda, thanks for being such a good role model for all the kids, keep it up!

I took my daughter who is 12 to the show plus one of her friends who is 15. We all had a great time. She put on a really good show. I hope she continues to grow as an artist. I'm glad she came over to our neck of the woods.

Miranda sounded good and interacted with the crowd and overall her performance was very entertaining. My daughter and her friends had a blast! However for $42.45 a ticket and $40.00 t-shirts, I feel that she should've been on stage for more that 1 hour! That was the only real disappointment with her show.

Miranda Cosgrove did a good job at this venue. The full size screen behind the stage showing her was a MAJOR plus. She started the show with a background video that was fabulous. As a beginning performer, I thought that she did very well. Her entire concert was rather short at about 60 minutes. Her backup dancers did an EXELLENT job and were very impressive in both moves and facial/body expression.

Tickets to Miranda Cosgrove were my daughter's 'big' birthday gift. She found out on July 1st that she was going and she looked forward to it all month long! Unfortunately we had to fly down to Fl for a funeral the day before the event and we made sure to fly back in time for her to still make the concert! We were a little tired but it was totally worth it! She had a great time and will remember it forever!

The sound system at the event was horrible and when the acts tried to speak you only heard them mumble. And it was HOT and the venue had no fans, and charged 3.50 for a bottle of water!

I was not impressed with her concert. The audio was screechy and it was hard to make out words to her songs. She really didnt' have that many songs of her own and I was surprised that she started singing songs 'off her IPOD' . . . however my 10 year old daughter and her 9 year old cousin enjoyed it. They didnt' quite get why she couldn't come out and sign autographs like her opening act did. I explained that that cost additional money but really?? Miranda Cosgrove?? I think she's still at the level where she can come out and meet her fans for free - well for the price I paid to get us all in anyway.

show was good. performers were good. however, pnc needs to improve. as hot as it was there should have been big fans within the show stage. along with mists. also they had the center screen on but not the side screens. was there a few days before for the Poison and Motley show and all three screens were on. this concert seemed to be less of an effort for pnc!

She and her band did a great job considering the 100 degree heat. Good song selection. Band was very talented during costume changes. Disappointed she did not sign autographs after show. A lot of people can not afford to pay some ridiculous fee for her "meet and greet" signing.

I was pleasantly surprised by how entertaining Miranda Cosgrove was! She sang mostly her own songs but mixed it up with a few cover songs. Her final song was Dancin Crazy and she brought a bunch of young girls onto the stage. She had cool dancers and lots of costume changes. It was a great time.

Miranda Cosgrove and Greyson Chance were great. Despite the heat we had so much fun we didn't want the show to end. My 5yr old and I had so much fun. There was such a mix of ages and everyone was singing along and having fun. For me I loved how she did her top hits on her ipod. Best summer night with my daughter. I would do it again.

Miranda did a wonderful job and was completely appropriate for my 7 year old niece's first concert. Only negative was too much time in between acts. With the heat near 100 degrees, 2 hours of opening acts and waiting time was brutal.

The kids had a great time it was a very Kid Friendly Concert which I was thrilled about. It started at 6 pm instead of the usual 7 or 8 pm which was great for the kids they were able to enjoy the whole show without gettting exhausted by the end. All three acts were awesome. The only complaint I would have was the merchandise was very expensive but aside from that it was a great show !!!

My 10 year old daughter LOVES Miranda Cosgrove. This was the 2nd time we saw her. Miranda sounds great in concert and as a parent, I like the fact that she's not "over the top" or have to worry about certain lyrics. This is a show that even parents will enjoy!

Show was awesome my three daughters had a ball. Almost a bad situation and almost missed the concert because we paid for tickets that didnt exist from Hot Seat Tickets at 2647 Haddonfield Road Pennsauken, NJ 08110, which we still havent been reimbursed for. Luckily TICKET MASTER saved the day and sold us great seats.
