Fiesta Cornyation

Absolutely a fabulous event! Piss your pants laughter, fun, and people. If you are open minded, into current event humor and a fiesta fan make plans to do this next year!

This is the funniest show I have seen in a while. I'm going to make this one if my favorite events for Fiesta. So much fun and the party bus is the bomb!

Empire theater is a great venue. The drinks were a little pricey. Attended the early show on Thursday, by that time show is polished and the bugs of a live performance worked out. This has long been one of my favorite events of fiesta. Can't wait for next year

This is my 10 year anniversary of attending Cornyation with my best friend! As far as I am concerned, Cornyation never disappoints!! The costumes, the wigs, the skits/spoof, the crowd, the dancing and most of all The Pointless Sisters. Being entertained, laughing and good cheer with my girlfriend - Can't think of a better way to spend Fiesta

I have lived in San Antonio for only a few years and am trying to see as much of the city and its culture as possible. So far it's been wonderful! Until Cornyation ... I had been warned that it is rather raunchy. No problem with that. But the writing was so poor, nothing clever, just grossness. I'm certainly glad I went by myself, so I'll know to never take out-of-town guests

Had a great time! It was a hoot. I've missed getting tickets forever, glad I got to finally see the show!

Everyone should experience this event at least once. It was hilarious and honestly refreshing Great laughs, great drinks; great people; great night.

What a great, fun event. This will now become a Fiesta tradition for me and my daughter!

Not as good as years past. Would like to see more local issues. I really do miss the "flying tortillas", that was so much fun!

I took a friend to see the show for the first time this year and we have decided it will be an annual event from now on. I dislike all other Fiesta events, but I look forward to Cornyation every year. It's great for everyone and the creativity and shows really come to life! It gets better and better every time I go! <3 it!

What happened to all the elaborate costumes? Years ago, the court consisted of beautiful women wearing the most outrageous, yet beautiful outfits and wonderful props. Now, the whole show consists of too much acting by bad actors!

Recommend Cornyation during Fiesta! Very funny! A must see!

Great new costuming and improved audio. Still need to work on the hosting situation. Love the bawdy, raucous attitudes and artistic takes on current events. If you're liberal, have a great sense of humor, understand what's going on in the world and city, this is the BEST Fiesta event for you Bravo, once again.

All of the skits were really clever and relevant to the times. The props were beautiful and professionally made. Of course many of the actors are artists and it showed in the preparation of the props and the design of their costumes.Very creative over all! Will attend again next year!

This was our first time at Cornyation, it was ok. There were a few skits that needed improvement.

Cornyation is on my to-do list every Fiesta season - funny, witty, entertaining, etc.

A beautiful theater -- however we could not hear or understand anything the female host had to say the entire performance - very poor audio ! Performances were too "goofy" or childish in many cases - could have been slightly more polished, especially for the price charged. Too expensive !

Corneyation is a must see every year. The first half was far superior. Lots of skin and stilettos...worn by the men. The skits were 5 star rated. The man who played Kevin Wolfe had an unforgettable performance...the best. King Anchovy LII is as sexy as his tractor. We went Tuesday night. The half time performers did not fit the criteria for Corneyation, they were not upbeat enough, the announcers were as always the stars of the show. If you like to laugh at life, this is your show. We love it every year.

Cornyation was tons of fun. I highly suggest this event to everyone.

The venue is beautiful and unique especially in this day and age, and it was a full house as far I could tell with multiple seating arrangements and options including balcony and table seating. My favorite part of the show was the spoof on the Hunger Games as the Cornyation Games and all the dizzyingly crafty wordplay going on with current events. More drink options would be nice especially with prices like that, but staff is friendly and helpful for the most part. I would definitely recommend to my best friend, so they would go with me next year.

I have been to many of the Cornyations over the yeas. I think this was the best one ever.

As in every year I have attended, Cornyation has been one of the best Fiesta events. The Pointless Sisters are one of the best highlights of this show. Would love to attain copies of prior year shows if possible. The skit on Manu Ginobili was great!!! But the skits on the Republican candidates hit it right on the nail and was hilarious. Fantastic job as always....

Do it! You'll never regret the laughs, the wit, the mockery, the Shakespearian buffoonery of the highest Rabelaisian order! Don't ever say that San Antonio isn't keen on itself or the world or without extremely talented artists because Cornyation has that and more!

Personally , Cornyation is the highlight and beginning of Fiesta in San Antonio!! 13th year in attending Cornyation with my girlfriend - First dinner, drinks and off to Cornyation! King Anchovy outfits were unbelievable this year! Love them all.

I go every year, love this show. The anouncers were at the top of their game, the show was not the best this year. Not enough skin and now well prepared. Hope next year is better. I do reccommend this show to adults only, lots of laughs.

Really enjoyed the Pointless Sisters! This is our favorite fiesta event. I wouldn't miss it.

Best event of the Fiesta season, featuring local non-professionals poking fun at national and local stories. Politically incorrect, partially nude and totally a blast. If you're uptight and on the right, you won't get it. Benefits AIDS charities, making it even more worthy of your time and money. Viva Fiesta!

This is my 12th year celebrating Fiesta at Cornyation with my best friend. This year the "50th" anniversary was spectacular! The skits were really good, fantastic costumes & lots of laughs. My personal favorites are SA Ballet Group and the Pointless Sisters but the TT hunter spoof was hilarious!. Love the narrators of the event! Very talented group that keeps up with the happenings in SA and surroundings. So looking forward to next year!

This year's show was much better than last year. Still raunchy and tasteless, just the way I like it.

This year's show was really great! All of the skits were very funny.

Event was okay. Was surprised how amateur...guess I was expecting it to be more professional production. Some skits were like people were just doing their own thing and then would just end without real conclusion.

Amazing show and great seats. Will be back next year.

This is my best friend and my 11th year of Cornyatiion! We absoluteley love it. We have dinner and cruise over to the Empire theatre for the show. We love the satire, light humor, funny costumes and good music! Everyone attending is always in a good mood. The Pointless Sisters are back to what they do best - dance and entertain.

This Cornyation was just okay. We have really enjoyed it in the past. Not so much this time. Unfortunately, we went to the very first show and there were sound issues that had to be worked out. We were towards the back of the theater and really couldn't hear the first half of the show. Lots of talking and noise from the bar behind us made it harder to hear. A couple of the skits were good, but most were just blah, although the sets and costumes were great. There was so much political fodder this year that I expected some really great spoofs but was disappointed. Overall it wasn't terrible, it wasn't really good, it was just okay.

Sitting in front next year with friends! Very surprised that it was so much fun! Going on Thursday night .

We had the best seats this year and we try to go every year. We laughed so much.

It was funny. Loved the twinkie and shades of Grey skits. I cant wait till next year.
