Hanson

A group of three brothers, Hanson reached stardom in the'90s as a multi-talented teenage pop group. The youthful trio first released indie albums before signing with Mercury Records and releasing their major-label debut, Middle of Nowhere, in 1997, which contained the hit song "MMMBop." Proving they were far more than a pop-music novelty, the group went on to release the finely crafted, accomplished albums This Time Around in 2000 and Underneath in 2004. Hanson's music remains impossible-to-resist pop, full of impressive musicianship and hooky vocals.

I am a Hanson fan, so that part of the show is no question, simply amazing. Hello Goodbye on the other hand wasn't bad. (And I'm not just saying this because I am a Hanson fan and have no room in my heart for any other band, because trust me I do). The kind of people that I can imagine being into Hello Goodbye are the kind of people that can't pick a genre of music that they prefer to listen to, within a single band. Hello Goodbye played songs ranging from synthesized pop rock, to indie rock with a slight blues feel at times, to a light pop punk sound. In all the genres they cover they are good, but with one they could be great! P.S. If your a sucker for tight pant wearing indie pop bands check out Sherwood and Steel Train!

Plain and simple, Hanson rocks. No question about it. They always put on an amazing show, and I was definitely not disappointed. I've been a fan since 97, and will continue to be as long as they're making music. :) I love you guys! Great show in KC. Come back soon!!!

The show was amazing. Hanson put on an incredible show, as always! High energy throughout the entire set. Only downside was during the openers and HelloGoodbye ... there were tech difficulties with mics and that cut the other bands' sets short. Overall ... incredible! Might be getting tickets to the Denver show now!!!

Hello good Bye was ok but I think it was over all the best Hanson concert to date!! When they came on the stage the wading through 3 bands and a horrible sound system problem was totally worth it. There didn't seem to be any problems from the sound system that plagued the other 3 bands and they just overall rocked the house. There was so much energy and movement from one song into the next it was amazing. It was hard to tell if we were feeding off of their energy or if they were feeding off of ours. Any Hanson concert is a different experience from any other band nothing can describe the sheer energy that bounces off the walls when they are on stage and this concert had it in spades. I would totally recommend this one to anyone that wanted to have a really good time but be prepared to scream at the top of your lungs and dance until you can't find your feet!!

The two opening bands were fun. I can honestly say I was not a hellogoodbye fan until I seen them live. They put on a great performance and definitely had presence on the stage. Of course my main reason for going to the show was to see HANSON!!! I have been a fan for twelve years now and it was about time I went to a show. They rocked! I would rather listen to them live any day over listening to a studio album. The crowd was a large part of it as well. I must admit the Show Me State showed Hanson how we rock for sure last night. I really can not wait to see them again.

Once Hanson finally got on they were amazing. It was suffering through the opening acts that was not so fun. If I have to listen to another mic check...I don't know what I'll do! Sherwood was good but I did not enjoy Hellogoodbye as much as I thought I might. Steel Train only was able to play a few songs due to technical difficulties. I could have done without one of them and had Hanson come on at 8:30 as opposed to 9:30. All in all though, Hanson put on a great show mixing in oldies and new songs.

The show was fantastic, the opening acts were entertaining and got everyone pumped up. I hate to say that Hellogoobye sucked though. There was blatent use of protools to cover up the lead singer's lack of a voice and that couldn't even help it. If not for them the concert would have been a total blast. Hanson was beyond amazing, but they always are!

Favorite Moment: Zac sang "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey as the encore (Taylor on drums, Isaac on guitar). Zac climbed down off the stage and interacted with the front row. HelloGoodbye joined the crowd. It was a great moment and a great way to end the concert.

I've been listening to them since my daughter was little and they first started playing. I've followed them through the years and bought all their albums even though my daughter thought she outgrew them for a while. I bought the tickets for last night for her birthday and told her I thought she would enjoy it and I was right. She's thought for years her mom was weird, but now at 20 she's finally realizing that her mom has good taste. I hope Hanson keeps playing for years to come.

The WildHorse Saloon...I love this venue first of all. Even if your in the GA crowd it's never hard to see. They always have the air conditioning going so stay pretty comfortable in the crowded areas. The food and drinks are great. The show itself I think it was probably the best Hanson show I've been too. The set list was great. Their opener Meiko was great too. I enjoyed her music a lot. They played songs that they hardly ever perform live such as their slower songs. Parking is expensive but that's to be expected in the city. It was a great show and bday present to myself and by best friend Sara who had never seen them live. Thank you! You guys rock and have always been amazing for 20 years!

Hanson does an amazing job at making the crowd feel alive and really apart of the concert experience. Even if you do not know all their music, it doesn't matter, you will have the time of your life, dancing and listening to Hanson play beautifully and sing in an unforgettable three part harmony. While Hanson is amazing, the venue is not so much. There are too many screaming girls to really enjoy standing in a large, pushing crowd. Luckily, Hanson makes the crowd worth it, and they keep me returning.

I love this band! These three brothers are so talented as both songwriters and musicians, and their shows are great fun! Every song is a sing-along, and their stage presence is fantastic with lots of interaction. Join the fan club for perks like "The Story" which gave fans Q&A time and early entry to the show. I will be a fan for life, and I'm counting on Hanson to keep me Rockin' into my later years. I hope when I am 85 and they are in their late 60's I can still go see them live.

I will always go to any Hanson show if it is at all possible. They are amazing live, just ask the hoards of super fans that have seen them 10+ times. But even for such a solid live band this show was great; super high energy and fun. They played pretty much all of This Time Around, as well as some of my favorites from the rest of their career. I know people judge Hanson as a boy band, but anyone that has seen them live or listened to their last record know that's the worst kind of surface judgement. They are great at playing their songs, and they pull off some amazing harmonies every night on stage that many artists have to rely on autotune for. They are great, the show was great, see Hanson if you ever have the chance to, you will not regret it.

Hanson rocked it, as usual, but we couldn't see anything. My mom requires disabled seating so we called about 2 months before the show to ask for some seating and we were assured we'd be able to see the band. When we got there, we were told we'd be able to see the band. Then when we were seated and couldn't see anything, they said there was nothing they could do. Highly disappointed. We weren't expecting the best seat in the house, but at least being able to see SOMETHING was expected. My friend and I even got up on our knees on the tops of the tall bar stools and could only see the top of Taylor's head. We had to watch on relatively small tv screens. I'd rather have done that from the comfort of my own home.

This is the tenth show I have seen of theirs in 13yrs of being a fan. I think this one was one of the best. Though 2008 was a close second, this one had all my favorite songs from my favorite album. I even got to hear my most favorite number one song by them live! Which they havent played since the cd came out. The other great thing is they were more engaged with the audience this time. Taylor got out from behind the piano on more then one occasion to sing and dance. I get in my own world at their concerts, they just engage you the music and make you feel it like no one else, other then maybe U2. I love seeing them because I know Ill have fun I know they will be entertaining and I know at the end It will have been a great nite, money well spent and time well wasted! They know without us they wouldnt have been around so long, and because they have such greata harmonies and melodies that capture you with lyrics that captivate you, you cant go wrong listening to them. 13years is a long time to stick with them, but they will always be my number one favorite. Im not afraid anymore to say that. Everyone will always remember them for MMMBop, but I will always remember them for saving me with thier music and making me be a better person for it. They inspire me and make me who I am, and for that I will always follow them where ever they go. But also that night for a second time got to meet Zac, the drummer. For 13years I waited for him or Taylor to sign my drumsticks and he finally did. I also got a picture with them finally. Though two years ago I did but not as intimately. It was a pass by i was standing next to him. I think the great thing about Zac is he always gives back to us as fans. He is always so grateful to us and though all of us act silly and get starstruck he keeps it together and knows its part of keeping your fans. He is the heart of the group. The first time i walked a mile talking to him about what he is passionate about, The Walk. He had so much conviction and understood that what he was doing was making a difference. In the beginning it was my intention on the tenth anniversary of seeing them the first time in concert to just meet them, but in the end, i walked with him to show my support for something he believed in. As so did I. Because as a fan your not a fan unless you support them in every en devour. Unless totally stupid or crazy, but its not just about the music its about the band as well. And I support a band that takes their fame and does something great with it. They are heros and have overcome so much to get where they are. So be a fan, go to a concert and even meet them. You will not be disappointed. Their music is amazing and they are not the same as they were 13years ago. I promise.

This show was A-MAZ-ING. I've seen Hanson in concert five times now and this was hands-down the best performance I've been to. They played for over two hours, with a set list of over 20 songs (including the encore). They also performed a few acoustic songs, and a good mix of songs their older studio albums and their new release. All-in-all, the show was totally fantastic. Hanson is even more amazing live. They will shock you and send chills up your pine. They vocal talent is unforgettable and definitely rare to find in this day and age. All three brothers are unbelievably talented in many ways. Each member of the band has mastered multiple different instruments and at each show, they demonstrate their many abilities. They are beautiful in every way: physically, musically, vocally, and spiritually. They always get the crowd involved and spread a great message overall.

Hanson is an absolute must-see- especially if you've been a fan of theirs for a long time. These guys know how to move a crowd, and will get you dancing. If you think all of their music is a variation of MMMBOP, think again. they have grown well past the decade that has passed since, and their set is straight good music and an excellent time. if you get there prior to the show, you should also consider doing the walk they do before the shows- they donate $1 to various causes in africa for each person who walks with them.

The guys, as always, put on a great show. My mother and I saw them back in 2000 together, and the band made it a wonderful 10 year anniversary of the experience. The set list was very well selected to take us back AND celebrate the present state of their music. Whether or not their audience engagement and playing hard has become routine is not the point. I am convinced that they work hard at every show -- not just to make a living, but to demonstrate that living is what you make it. Awesome show!

Hanson has only gotten better since I saw them on TV 20 years ago. This was the 2nd live show I've been to with my kids. It was awesome! The sound quality could have been better, but I think it was as good as it could be in the old theatre. But Hanson played for over 2 1/2 hours with no break. Non-stop music! At age 50, I'll never apologize for being a Hanson fan. And am extremely excited that they have a new Christmas album coming out! I already wore out one Snowed In and had to buy another. These guys have always been able to sing the way an artist should...no electronic gadgets to make them sound better or big flashy shows to distract everyone because they aren't that good. I could listen to Hanson sing a capella all day long! I will always be a fan. Thanks for coming to Seattle!

Hanson knows how to put on a great show! They were coming off of 5 straight days of touring, but they had more energy than I did! They were very interactive with the crowd and I haven't had as much fun in a long time. Here's to 25 more! The venue itself was wonderful. The staff was very friendly, coming outside and letting us know what was going on. When it was time to enter, the staff moved at ridiculously fast pace. It took a matter of minutes to get inside. Once inside, the place was clean and cool for such a hot day outside. Parking was a little hard to find for some, but if you arrive early enough there is a parking lot directly next to the theatre for $20.

It was 2 nights of pure awesoneness! First night they performed amazing cover songs from Billy Joel, u2, and many more, they threw in some of their songs too! After the concert, i went to the after party where taylor did some dj-ing. Great show. Isaac and zac was not there. Its more of a taylor's show. The 2nd day we did the "take the wake" at 2pm. We walked for a mile barefoot with this amazing, down to earth guys. Isaac, Taylor and zac walked with us and directed traffic themselves, no security just us. We walked for the benefit of people in Africa to fight HIV/aids and water. On the 2nd night they performed their hits and great songs from their albums. This experience was unforgettable. This concert was everything I hoped for and more! Hanson put on an awesome performance and they were non-stop on stage. They kept the crowd going and everyone I was there with had a blast. The concert was this past Sunday night and my friends and I are still ranting on how incredible they were and how we're going back to see them again. It was something that I'll never forget!

The venue was packed but my friend and I still had a great view. The concert was fantastic. The energy amazing. And the band..... Incredible. They were born to play music and are VERY talented. I wish they would rerecord their old stuff as a 20th anniversary album. They put an excellent twist on their old stuff. Their new music is spectacular! Great show hanson!!! Come back to ATL soon!!!

Seeing Hanson at the Variety Playhouse was easily the greatest experience of my life! The staff was extremely friendly & generous. The venue is the perfect size & located in a trendy little area. I was lucky enough to be able to meet the talented men of Hanson and they did not disappoint. They were all extremely humble, friendly, & made sure each fan was greeted. Before the show, I ran into Zac & he such a nice guy and easy on the eyes too! To say I was obsessed when I was younger is an understatement. This is easily one of the greatest moments of my life!!

The venue was nice and not too small. Hanson didn't mess around on stage and played a whole lot of music. They always do songs from other albums and every time I see them they are so energetic and funny. They know know to keep a crowd entertained!

The walk taken beforehand was an AWESOME way to begin the afternoon with Hanson. We were rewarded by front of the line privileges which was unexpected and so thoughtful. The set list for the show was a wide selection on their entire catalog highlighting the new album, Anthem along with so many favorites from other albums. An amazing concert by a talented band. Loved every minute.

Hanson never disappoint. They always give their fans what they want and even more. I love their New York shows. The crowd is so energetic and alive. And the venue is small enough to be intimate and big enough to party. They always mix up their set list--a little old, a little new. But regardless of which song it is every person in that room knows all the words, knows all the cues. All the new songs were amazing live -- I think they maybe the best live set I've heard and seen since their last album, Shout It Out, which was amazeballs. Yes. Definitely. I can always count on my boys.

Openers Honor By August were great, no complaints! Parachute blew my mind after I've had friends hyping them up for awhile now. I'm very likely to see both again sometime soon! Then there was Hanson. What can I say? After going to see them for 16 years now, they have never ever disappointed me. They just keep getting better! I have happily gone broke to go to multiple shows more times than I like to admit, and it's always been worth it.

From the start of the opening act, Joanna Burns, to the last note of the encore, once again, Hanson delivered a high energy, engaging entertainment experience. Their on stage presence is easy to relate to and is perfectly suited to the smaller venue that Starland is. Everyone was dancing, singing, laughing, and at times even crying, as the music moved them. The guys, as usual, were perfectly comfortable with each and with the crowd, making for a great evening.

the band was amazing, again, just like always. they were really nice for our meet and greet, even though i'm positive i acted like an idiot, and somehow managed to find an amazing opening act again. buy joanna's cd, you won't regret it! they put on a great show with an amazing set list. i was a little sad that their rhythm and bass men weren't there for this one but it was great none the less.

Although I was bummed that they cancelled their October show due to illness, they more than made up for that on Valentine's Day! They played for almost 3 hours straight, songs from every album and as always, did an amazing encore! Although my Meet and Greet absolutely made my day, I would have been extremely happy with just the concert!

I have been waiting on this day ever since I was a toddler in love with "Mmmbop". I felt so alive at this concert with energy and excitement that the best band ever was in the same room as I playing all the songs I loved!!! I will admit San Francisco is an extremely crowded city and the wait to get into the ballroom was forever and the girls behind us made us want to move to the balcony because not only did our feet hurt from waiting and walking, they kept pushing us forward and talking during the opening act and we couldn't stand it. After the concert Issac came out of the bus and kindly took pics and signed autographs. with everyone pushing in front of me, I had doubts of meeting 1 of the 3 best influencial musicians of my life, but God answered my prayer and I was the last person to get a picture and autograph and when I did, he took my camera to take our picture, he said thank you to me 2 or 3 times and i got to hug him!!! my night was worth all the pain and craziness after that.

This venue was just perfect. Waiting in line wasn't bad and I got there about 6 pm and I was able to still get a good standing spot. They sounded amazing. It was so much fun singing along with them and just them being so talented is so wonderful too! They sang mostly songs from The Walk with a few from Middle of Nowhere & of course Shout it out! It was the best night!!!

I only went to this event for Hanson and they did not disappoint at all! I normally hate opening acts, but Sherwood and Steel Train definitely did their job in pumping the crowd up. I've never been a fan of Hellogoodbye and the only song I know is "Here In Your Arms". I liked that song, but I didn't really discover a new found love for them or anything. Hanson did not (and never has) failed to disappoint. They are phenomenal and I would have spent the same amount of money to just have heard them play for four hours.

Sherwood was good, Steel train was a bit messy and funny because of that, HelloGoodBye was WAY too obsessed with Sherwood, and Hanson: Awesome, Fantastic, Truely a dream come true.... since 1997!! It was my first Hanson concert and I can't wait til they come back!! Please visit Denver again soon, guys! I also appreciate the support and PREVENTION of aids in Africa via education, shoes and clean water to name a few. A 1 mile barefoot walk really opened my eyes to the difficulties and needs of the African people! Keep up the good, hard work! See you again soon!!

Not sure 3 opening acts were neccessary and I really wish the guys weren't too tired to sign autographs and take photos after the show but as usual they put on a great show. I had not heard of the two opening bands, Sherwood and Steel Train, but they were absolutely amazing! I plan on buying they're new albums. Hellogoodbye put on a great show, very entertaining. Hanson was amazing as well, and it is really great to see bands such as these making a difference through organizations such as TOMS. It was worth every penny.

I went to the Hanson and Hellogoodbye concert on Halloween and it was absolutely incredible!! I got up close and personal with Hanson, whom are the sweetest guys in the world. Hellogoodbye was really sweet too as far as I could tell. The show itself was absolutely unforgettable. It was very entertaining and it got the crowd worked up and excited. The audience participated in every way possible and it reached its climax when Hanson performed. I think Hanson knows how to really make a concert exciting and their music is sensational. I would recommend anyone to attend a Hanson concert. HANSON ROCKS!!! I'm a Hanson fan for life and I don't care who knows it!!

I loved Hanson in the '90s when I was growing up, and they blew me away last night. They are actually talented musicians. I really enjoyed the show. Even after 10 years of playing to screaming girls, they still act amazed that people like them and that they are actually famous. Zac took a picture with us, so that was also AMAZING. We saw the show on Halloween night and they covered MJ's Thriller for an encore. Very fun show...lots of energy.

my friend and i went to this concert just excited about Hanson but left huge fans of 3 more bands. Shurwood (i believe that's how its spelled??) was amazing. the vocalist did a great job and the band as a whole put on an amazing show. Steel Train was amazing and also put on an amazing show.. I was an instant fan! Hellogoodbye was amazing as well. They were funny and just looked like they were having a really good time. Not only were these guys great performers... they were cool people. they actually took the time to say whats up. they were funny and professional at the same time. Oh. and of course Hanson was amazing. After 15 years of this together they sure got this whole concert thing down : ) .... Me and my friend are huge concert buffs and our husbands are in and have always been in bands, so we basically live for music and both of us agreed that, hands down, this was the best concert we have ever been too. Y'all rock. keep it up!

Hanson was wonderful, as usual. Sherwood, the opening band, was pretty good too. Hanson even played a song they let the fans vote on. The only problem I had, is that Hanson gave the people that went to The Walk a stamp so they could get at the front of the line at the concert but the House of Blues people didn't know anything about it. There must have been a breach in communication there. The concert was good nonetheless and I enjoyed myself. I did have a slight problem with the lighting at the rear of the stage. All the pictures I took of the drummer are dark.

bottom line: best show i ever saw in my life. All 3 opening acts were awesome especially Hellogoodbye! Hanson never gives a bad show. I think this was the best show i have ever seen them do thus far. Their sound has changed so much yet stayed the same over the past 12 years. It's nice to have a band who has so much raw talent to give their audience. They always play some old school along with a bunch of their new songs. The guys are so talented and sounded amazing and i can't wait for the next tour!!!! the only con was the show was 5 hrs long. but well worth it!

On top of Hanson performing an amazing 20+ song set, all THREE of their opening acts did an amazing job. Thanks to Sherwood, Steel Train, Hellogoodbye, and (of course) HANSON for putting on such an amazing show! Hanson will be touring again about a year from now, so don't miss them!

I have been going to Hanson concerts since they first became a hit in 1997, and this was BY FAR the best Hanson concert I have been to. They worked the crowd, they had a blast, we had a blast. What more could you ask for? The guys are playing slightly different sets at each venue which is cool, and they played all their best songs from all their albums. From Middle of Nowhere, to This Time Around, to Underneath, to The Walk, to some new material ("Stand Up" of course), this concert had my blood pumping from beginning to end. The opening acts were all FANTASTIC! They made up a good half of the concert, and let me tell you I didn't stop dancing for a second! These guys were rocking out and playing off of each other the whole night, just doin' their thing, having a blast! If this concert is coming to your city, DON'T WASTE A GREAT NIGHT! Check it out. It's a real bargain for how long it lasted -- great music 6:30-11:30.

The Hanson concert last night was one of the best performances they have had live in Boston maybe it was the new House of Blues atmosphere or the gathering of very dedicated fans and Boston flair, but the show was SPECTACULAR. A perfect blend of old favorites, new materials and a kick ass cover ending. Their energy and stage charisma is hard to miss which separates them from other bands. I cannot recommend enough checking them out live if you have not. Some things just get better with age and this is for sure Hanson

This was probably one of the best concerts I've ever been to! If you love Hanson, but you've never seen them live, you're missing out. Don't hesitate, get tickets or you'll regret it. I fell in love with Hanson's music with their "This Time Around" album and have loved them ever since. I had never before seen them live, and they did NOT disappoint!! Their music, lyrics and harmony are incredible and have always left me awestruck. But its even more amazing live than on the records. I'm really glad I went to this show. And the Chicago House of Blues was a really awesome venue! Even the opening bands were great! Sherwood did awesome and I'd never heard of them before. But I'll probably buy their new CD and I'd definitely recommend their music! Same with Steel Train, which, I'd say, was probably the perfect band to open any show! Steel Train was very fun, and super high energy - great for getting the crowd going. Their sound was unique, but not too far out there - I would recommend them to anyone! HelloGoodBye did a really good job, but they were a little more average than the other two openers. I only knew a couple of their songs going into it, so they were pretty new to me as well. I liked their set, but what I liked most about HelloGoodBye was their banter back and forth on stage - they were really funny talking to each other between songs! All of HelloGoodBye's most popular songs, like the few I recognized, were very well received - the crowd went crazy when they ended their set with, I'd say, their most popular song, Here In Your Arms - which was awesome. But definitely... GO SEE HANSON!! IT ROCKED!
