Enjoyed seeing Jasmine Sullivan, Raphael Saadiq, & Maxwell at the Hollywood Bowl Friday night. All of the performers sounded like their studio recordings. Despite the chaotic parking, we had a good time. Gotta love Real Music on a Date Night!

For a musician who was gone for a while to come back and his tone to be perfect. Singing live is hard for some artist but Maxwell's voice was such a joy to hear. Mysister and I came from Houston to San Antonio to watch this beautiful specimen perform and we were definitely entertained. He seemed so down to earth with his interaction with the crowd. His live band was incredible. Love the show, LOVE MAXWELL. I would strongly suggest eveyone who loves good music and a great musician to go and see the show. It was great.

For all who have the opportunity for Maxwell to come to your town, ****place this gifted man and his band on your things to do list! ***** This concert was more than moving; Maxwell and his band performed so well together with the San Antonio audience that they have to be mentioned simultaneously. He fed the masses with soulful notes and a few sulltry and very animated poses, the females were satisfied and the men weren't hatin'. And, as if anticipation wasn't enough after 8 years, I had to layer this performance with expectation because my sister and I attended the previous night's concert in Austin and we were in awe of his talent, professionalism and dedication to his fans (he had a rib injury). WE WERE still BLOWN AWAY. I was blessed to see Maxwell perform in Orlando, FL 2001, he shared his gift fully and tenderly then a young man with an old soul; he's still sharing it all just as passionately as before. Thanks Maxwell for coming to Texas and making me brave, I am petrified of crowds, there is something to be said about devotion!

The Majestic was great! There wasn't a bad seat in the house. Maxwell was fantastic, hot and sensual. Vocals were great and audience participation was terrific. He was just as good as he was in Dallas last November. I'm looking forward to listening to his new cd, which was available at the venue before the show. The opening act Laura Izibor from Ireland is going to be the next hottest artist. Beautiful voice and great stage presence.

The concert was great! The opening act was decent and Maxwell was awesome... The only reason I am giving the show 4 stars is because Maxwell took about a hour to come out after the opening act. Other than that, I believe the show was wonderful! I would definetely see him again. As a matter of fact, I need his new CD in my car playing now.

The opening act was very nice, kinda reminded me of an up and coming Alicia Keys. Maxwell himself was amazing. He performed beyond my expectations! He covered all of the song that you wanted to hear and a couple of the new songs as well. I was very pleased!

I have been following Maxwell's career since 1996 and was beyond excited to finally have the opportunity to see him in person. The show was better than I'd imagined. His voice was just as thick and smooth as the CDs I'd been listening for for 12+ years. His moves... His stage presence... His own enjoyment throughout his performance spilled out into the audience. He sand old songs & new songs... and simply left no stone unturned. The band was excellent... I had the time of my life!

His opening act was great and set the tone for what was to come. Before the curtains were opened, the audience was drawn into the music that was being played backstage by the band. Lights, curtains, and then Maxwell...classic and timeless. This was my time attending a concert of his and let me tell you...he sounded better than his actually recorded albums. The band was insane and accompanied him on every single note. He was and has returned as the consumate performer/entertainer and had the ladies screaming. Given there is so much junk out there on the radio waves, it is quite refreshing and timely that the prodicical son has returned. My wife had a great time and she was not a Maxwell fan...was.

The atmosphere was awesome! the sound was very clear. Maxwell and his crew were just amazing!!! I wish they could just keep playing..the only thing that was probably a negative was people standing up in front of us and blocking our view, but I can't blame them, there were parts of the show when i wanted to stand up also, MANY!!! If you like cool jazz, ne0-soul..whatever you want to call it...you got to see Maxwell!! Guaranteed booty after..hehe...jk!!!:)

I have been a Maxwell fan since the first time I heard him in 1997. I've had NOW in my player all these years (it finally broke, time for another copy), so seeing him has just been icing on the cake. I went to Dallas to see him in Nov 08 and it was awesome too, it was just an added treat to have him come to San Antonio, that was unexpected and appreciated! He never disappoints me, I am so looking forward to his CD release 7/7, I'll get it that day or that week at the latest! I truly love the artist and his music, pray he stays true to his craft and doesn't jump into hip-hop, his style is one of the things that sets him apart from the rest. He doesn't need the bling they bring, he actually has talent! Laura Isadora (may have her name wrong) was great too, I'll be looking to buy her CD also. Overall, AMAZING!

Maxwell's concert was unbelievable. His singing quality is definitely not enhanced on records like some other artists. He has a geniune sound and stage presence (hot moves) that I was not completely expecting. He sang all of my favorites and brought the house down. I would pay to see him again. His band was fantastic also and you know a singer is not complete without a slamming band. Great music to groove to and set the stage for some after concert love. Even if you are single, Maxwell is a must see!!! One of the best concerts I've seen! Fantastic!

Although I loved the concert this thing started entirely too late. Something billed as starting at 8:00pm, he didn't make his way to the stage until 9:30pm. They also had a problem with the lighting. Watched the guy standing in the dark part of the stage almost half the night. This was clearing becoming irritating to the crowd throughout the night. He still put on a great show and still enjoyed it.

What can I say, Maxwell was amazing as always! I can listen to him sing "Pretty Wings" every day...if you haven't, treat yourself, he is completely worth it! My seats were great but the VIP Meet & Greet needs work. We stood in line for nearly two hours (530p - 715p) outside in 89 deg humidity to meet the artist and missed the first act. For the cost of these VIP tickets, there should have been seating in an tented or air conditioned space along with light snacks/beverages

Leela James is very gifted but spent too much time talking trying to pump the crowd, I felt she should have given it 100% & just displayed her gift & sang her heart out for those who didn't know her & most importantly for her current fans. Ledisi did a great job empowering the ladies. Maxwell just connected with the crowd in such a genuine way. Not a nasty, raunchy performance. Very classy yet sexy. He has matured as an artist & mastered performing for an audience of many different ages, preferences all at the same time. The venue, Red Hat Ampitheater in Raleigh, NC contributed & made it easy. We were enclosed other than the clear, starry sky above us. My husband enjoyed his birthday surprise (seeing Lela James) & we enjoyed each other. I am a HUGE fan of both Mary J and Maxwell and have had the pleasure of seeing both separately before this 2016 - King and Queen of Hearts Tour. Admittedly, I am biased because I came to this event already smitten and as a avid collector of both singers' albums, so I knew seeing them together was an event not to be missed. Mary J definitely exceeded my expectations and she brought all the fervor of her youth plus the heart of a seasoned diva. I honestly didn't think she could get better, but trust she will dazzle you and the crowd into bliss. Maxwell was a total gentleman who sank himself into every lyric. An absolutely fabulous pairing. Treat yourself to them or regret it forever.

I saw Maxwell in concert 7yrs ago and he was Amazing. This concert was amazing as well! I love his songs and the way he just knows how engage the audience. I love his dance moves, it was overall a great performance.

Leelah and Ledesi were really good. There voices were so clear and beautiful. Ledesi was funny. She engaged the audience well. Maxwell was better than I ever imagined!!! His voice was so pure it sounded as if i was listening to his cd. The man did his thang!!! One of the best shows Ive ever been to. We didnt want it to end. My only complaint was it had to end and I was expecting to hear one of my favorites from him "FIstful of tears" and he didnt sing it.... other than that it was a flawless show. It started ON TIME TOO!!

Wow, this was an awesome live show. Lela James, Ledisi & Maxwell were amazing! Each song was just as the sound on their albums. The fans were on there feet for each performer.

I saw this man in 1997, then once again on Saturday evening. Like fine wine, this man just gets better with time. Somehow, this man improved on a flawless performance. He loves what he does and it shows! Leela James got the night started with an energetic performance that didn't disappoint. Ledesi took it even higher with a superb presentation, both vocally and with her commentary. Then Maxwell just brought it on home! Great lineup, great show. LOVED them all! Total MUST SEE!!!

This was one of the best shows I've ever attended! For one, it started on time. The ladies Lela James and Ledesi saaaaang!! Those ladies are so talented. More importantly MAXWELL delivered an unforgettable show!!! He sounded clear and sang beautifully and brought the house down with his hits and stage presence. AWESOME SHOW, WORTH EVERY PENNY! My only disappointment was it had to end AND i wish he wouldve sang FISTFUL OF TEARS!! If and when he returns to Baton Rouge, I will be attending FOR SURE!!!

I really enjoyed the show i am an avid concert goer but this was first meet and greet with Mary J Blige. I have been a fan since the 90"s and she didn't disappoint. It was a big party on floor. Best time and Maxwell was also a treat.

I had no idea what to expect. I've seen Mary J many times and I know maxwell's music but I've never seen him in concert. I wasn't quite sure how the two would flow during a show. It was incredible. I had a great time.

Once again Maxwell delivered a stellar performance I love his music had great floor seats and my first time seeing Mary J Blige in concert and all I can say is PHENOMENAL! She poured her heart out in her songs. I had a wonderful time! Whenever Whatever Wherever I will come to see Maxwell I've seen his concert twice this year!! I'm his forever fan! Memphis rocks!!!

This concert left me speechless. It was entertaining from the beginning to the end. Mary J. Blige is definitely the Queen. She is a great performer and truly knows how to work the crowd. She performed so many of her best hits. Speechless!!! Maxwell is THAT GUY!!! his voice is a jewel. So soft and mellow. Wow, I could listen to him all day. His best song was a Woman's Work... nearly brought me to tears. I don't know much about Ro James, but he's really talented. Please go see. It is well worth the money. I have nothing negative to say.
