Mint Condition

The show was absolutely awesome. Mint Condition really performed and gave an awesome show. I would go to see them over and over again.

The concert was amazing. All the groups did amazing and mint condition blazed the stage. They never slowed down and kept the crowd interested. Hope they come back soon

The opening act (Big Daddy Kane) put on an amazing show and his band was great; Mint Condition and the other hand was a little disappointing. They were 30 minutes late and performanced 3 of their own songs. All in all it was an ok show.

Too much time between warm-up band and the main attraction. Lost alot of enthusiasm.

This was my first Mint Condition concert ever. Was a belated birthday gift for myself. Had very good seats too. The opening act was just okay to be local acts. I was just excited to be at the venue. I never been to the Pageant before and it was a Sold Out concert. The whole show was entertaining from the time they appeared on stage until the end. They sang mostly songs off of their recent CD E- Life.. Stokely is very attractive in person,and with the audience participation I was a very satisfied fan. There was even a drumming challege between the drummer of the group and the lead singer Stokely. Had no idea that he could play instruments as good as he sings. They also mentioned during the concert that their former record company thought they would never be successful on their own,but performing in a Sold Out venue is proving their critics wrong. The crowd went crazy when they sang their song "Pretty Brown Eyes" at the end of the show. I would highly recommened not only their concert but their latest CD "E- Life"because not only will you be fully entertained you will always remember the day you saw the concert when you listen to their CD. I would definitely go see them again whenever they decide to come to St. Louis again.

My husband (of twenty years) loves Mint Condition and I love my husband so when I got the message from Ticketmaster that they were coming back to town I could not believe they were coming back so soon. I took my husband in October of last year (I believe it was) to see them at the President. He was like a little kid on Christmas morning. What a phenomenal show and this time was no different. These guys did not fail him. The concert was seen from the second row center. The tickets were reasonable which set up the evening quite well. It was fun, romantic, and just real good music. They are such an extraordinarily gifted band. A true band - a rareity for today's standard of music. Although my husband knows I love him truly - that Stokely is quite pleasing to the eyes!!! Oh yeah, and he [Stokely] can sing too. They ended the show, just like before with Pretty Brown Eyes. What an awesome conclusion to a great evening.

I am amazed at the energy and talent of Mint Condition. I am still talking about this concert two months later. Real Music Won't Die!! Thanks Mint Condition for keeping it real!!

Mint Condition gave an incredible show! I am a huge fan but my wife just likes some of the songs, so she got the tickets for my birthday and just went for support. She ended up cheering and singing louder than me!

Seeing Mint Condition for the first time ever was truly all that and some! I actually touched and held hands with the Stokley while he sang several songs....yes, I was the thickness in the hot pink sweatsuit he came over to twice and sang in front of. My seat was over on the far lefthand side of the stage in the front. I could have stepped up on the stage I was so close and I was giving much love and energy to Mint Condition....I think I stood up ad danced for most of the show! I really did enjoy myself. Seeing Mint Condition live in concert was once a dream that has come true for me because they are one of my favorite artists/bands. There are three other artists that I would like to see live: The Roots, Meshell N'degeocello, and Incognito with Maysa (I've seen and met Maysa live many times in Baltimore where I'm orginally from, but I've never seen her perform with Incognito). I wish that I could have met all of the members of Mint Condition after the show, but I know that was a slim chance to none given the venue. For now I'll keep my memories of the concert and look forward to the next time I'll see them live!

I loved the concert... Standing room only tickets sucked. But the pageant is beautiful and I would stand again!!

THE SHOW WAS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! FROM TOP TO BOTTOM, JUST OUTSTANDING..... EVERYTHING WAS CRISP AND PRECISE, FROM THE VOCALS, TO THE SMALLEST INSTRUMENT. JUST AN ENJOYABLE EVENING. COULD HAVE STAYED AN ADDITIONAL 2 1/2 HOURS FOR MORE GREAT MUSIC!!!!

AWESOME CONCERT. These guys are full of talent. I urge you to purchase tix to the nearest show. I didn't want the concert to end. They sound great on CD but LIVE is outta sight!

Overall I was very happy to see Mint Condition live in concert but there were a few things that were not quite right. First of all the drum playing session went on entirely too long & they didn't sing one of my favorite songs of theirs FOREVER IN YOUR EYES which was very disappointing. Enjoyable experience though!

I was so happy to see Mint Condition at the Pageant. The year before they were at the President Casino and that venue was way too small for this incredible band who has such a big fan base in the STL area. The show was nice and intimate. The opening act, Cafe Soul, was really great as well. If you want to see a REAL R&B BAND that can vocally and instrumentally perform just as good if not better than on CD, Go See Mint Condition!!!Can't wait for next year!!!

If you have never experience great music from a live band that posses strength, talent, creativity, and a amazing range of vocals..You are missing out on Mint Condition. They have it all. I was so full of excitment but yet speechless. I am looking forward to seeing them again.

I'm so glad I went because it was worth every penny I spent and I loved their performance. They kept the crowd hype and wanting more. I could have went another hour listening to them. To have Coco Soul open up was truly a gift to the STL. Please keep me inform if they should come again.

One of the only remaining bands that write and read music and play their own instruments. Very high energy on stage from everyone not just frontman Stokely. I would highly recommend seeing them in your town or the closes one to you.

Mint condition was outstanding...Those of you who missed it definitely missed a treat. They are a true band. I'm glad that they are still around ---still making wonderful music!

Mint Condition was excellent, any time they visit Baltimore I would be there, the show was amazing. This was the first time at Rams Head Live, and it was the perfect place for the show it was close to home and transportation.

I am a 45 year old fan of mint cindition from their conception in the eighties. They represent one of the last true live R&B bands. I feel the show was an abbreviated version of what they usually do. I wanted more! Stokley is the sh*t! Considering the venue and the price ($20 bucks per), I got my money's worth.

I have always been a fan of live bands and Mint Condition proved why. Stokely, of course, has amazing vocals but the band are not slouches at all. Everyone really showcased their talent. It was so good it was like I was at home in my living room blasting one of my Mint Condition cd's! Even my mom enjoyed the show. If Mint Condition ever make it back to the area, I would definitely go again. The only thing I didn't like is that it felt like the show ended too soon!

Stokley is a BEAST! MC put it down live better than the recorded music! Just wish the show was longer but no one opened for them or followed them. Loved the intimate feel of the venue. Nothing like a REAL band!

I've written so many reviews about this band and my reviews never change...if anything, they just keep getting better! This band is exactly that...a BAND! Musicianship at it's finest, energy like you've never seen, great interaction with the audience, and most importantly...they ROCK! They have a 20 year catalog of music to play from and they definitely offer a great sampling of all 20 years. They genuinely look like they are having FUN up on the stage and it reflects in their overall stage performance. You can tell that these guys LOVE making music and love to perform! They are the perfect blend of musical talent, lyricism, creativity, energy, and uniqueness. Put it all together and you get MINT CONDITION!

I have been a huge admirer since day one. I saw them about 13 years ago on tour with Tony Braxton in Philadelphia and they blew me away! They are a class act and their level of versatility as artists (individually and collectively) are unparalleled!!! You won't like them if you don't like *real* music.

Stokely and the band put on an amazing show! The music and all was great. I didn't know Stokely was that cold on the drums! I was wondering why they had two sets of drums on the stage when I first got there. They are all so talented. I loved the way the band interacted with the audience and made us a part of the show.

Excellent Show! Very entertaining and high energy group. They left me wanting more!!!

The band was great - energetic, inviting and exciting. I've been to all but one of their shows in Atlanta and I have always enjoyed the atmosphere and the BAND. Please keep coming back to the ATL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only downside was security - some were a little over zealous. I am a mature woman and NOT a groupie - after I took a pic w/Stokely and the band signed the CD cover - I attempted to get a pic of the entire group while they were signing autographs but I was rushed away by the security guards - dag!

Mint Condition is the last true R&B band in the game today, and they do NOT disappoint. They stay true to their craft, and they are phenomenal performers and artists. I have seen them six times LIVE, and the next time they are within 300 miles of me, I will be attending their show. Stokley's energy and vocal skills are unmatched. O'Dell is the BADDEST guitarist out there; Ricky plays a MEAN bass, Jeffrey comes out from behind the keyboard to play sax, and their traveling drummer is BAD!! And they do all of this LIVE. I cannot say enough about them - I am their biggest fan and will be for LIFE. I am grateful they are still touring and putting on good shows with QUALITY music and they are STILL TOGETHER after 23 years in the game. If they are near you, GO SEE THEM!!!!

This is my first Mint Condition concert Ever. I have to say they did a GREAT job. I wasn't disappointed at all. I'm a youngin with an old soul and I admired bands like this with pure talent. Stokely Williams sound no different then the cd. The whole group did a great show. I enjoyed the show myself and had a great time. I'm definately getting that new cd next month. It's not one song they made I didn't like. Mint Condition has a fan forever in me. Mint Condition will Always Be The Best!!!

Mint Condition was UNBELIEVABLE last night. Stokley is an AMAZING PERFORMER. Those men can really move. I enjoyed every minute of the show. MC needs to come back, there two hour show is worth it. Much LOVE and be safe on tour.

I've been a Mint Condition fan since their first album and this was my first opportunity to see them perform live. I have to say that they exceeded all of my expectations! I really appreciated the love that they showed to the fans and you can see how much they love to perform and entertain. One of the things that I've always admired about Mint is their musicianship and it was on full display as they weaved through the various songs from their catalogue of music, including some new cuts. The new album comes out in April, and will definitely be added to my collection, but I just had to give my impression of their performance in Houston. Great job MC!

I LOVED the show!!!! I am a HUGE Mint Condition fan, so I was excited to see my fellas do their thing! Full of energy, amazing band and voices, great venue - what more could you ask for?? Well, if you needed even more than that, Ledisi was like buttercream icing on an already delicious cake! Her voice is soothing yet electric at the same time! She gave a fantastic opening performance! This was truly an unforgettable night! Love, Love, LOVED it!!!!!

The food at the Birchmere was great to start off. There was plenty of seating close to the stage and it had a really intimate setting. Once Mint Condition got on stage all eyes were glued on them. They demanded your attention and you were rewarded for giving it to them. They did a good mix of old and new songs and all of them were equally enjoyable. You could tell that they love their music and felt everything they performed. A+ performers!

Concert was fabulous! Lalah bought out Rashaan Patterson was a bonus to her perfection of work. Her mom who worked the concession stand was kind & sweet!!!! Stokley of Mint Condition, was a great performer....he has ALOT of positive energy!!! I wish I could buy the performance on tape & watch it ALL over again!!!

Mint Condition was Phenomenal! They really engaged us as the audience. Energy started at a 100% and went to 250%. The fact that they're Independent now really showed in they're music. Nothing was watered down or sugar coated. I will be at every concert they have from here on! I wasn't too happy with the Venue because half of the seats were standing seats. Club Nokia is cool if you like that Bar...half standing....some sitting atmosphere. I was very pleased!

This band gave a solid damn near two hour performance & gave 110%! I don't know how they have so much energy but I was greatly impressed! This is the last band standing & we must support them!

Mint Condition is one of the most phenomenal bands (still) around and their shows are amazing. It's always high energy and hearing Stokley challenge octaves with his extensive range is truly amazing. You can hear the funk and rock of the 70's in O'Dell and Ricky's guitar and bass (especially in their solos) as if they were playing in the decade instead of being born in it. Jeff and Larry are on the keyboards and background vocals giving all the nuances to those harmonies (that are so few and far between in other groups) and Brandon keeps it all going on the drums. The fellas love and appreciate their audience and it shows in their performances. Their music combines soul, blues, jazz, funk, rock and r&b and allows you to travel to different genres in just one song. If you want to hear good, live music that gets you and keeps you dancing then you need to check them out whenever they're in your area. You will not be disappointed - I never am.

The show was great! I did think that, while I know they have to promote their new cd, they should have played more of the older songs to remind some people (not me!) of why they fell in love with their music from the beginning.

AWESOME!!! Mint always puts it down. The standing room is the best venue for this type of music!! The badest band in the land!! Stokley is the main vocal component but I LOVE them all!! They are SICK SICK SICK!!! A true definition of a band!!!!

I have only been to a few concerts in my lifetime. But this concert has to be one of the best so far. This was our first time going to the White Oak Amphitheater for an event. And I can say that it was truly money well spent. Big Daddy Kane was really good and Mint Condition was amazing! I was so excited and enjoyed the experience immensely!

For the first time in ever, Mint Condition's show at BB King's was fully seated! That was a true shock to me because I've seen them almost routinely when they perform at the venue. All in all, the band was exceptional as was to be expected and they paid homage to Prince in such a marvelous way. What's even more fabulous about this band is that they don't seem to age! Their moves, their vocal ability, the instrumentation -- it always so on point! 3 nights at BB King's - also a first. Thank you, management at BB K's for presenting the best live shows to NYC's music loving audiences.

This band will leave you mesmerized and wanting more. I plan to go and see them every time they come to North Carolina. This was my second time seeing them this year. They are my all time favorite band.

Mint Condition. Just the mention of this band's name conjures up feelings of sexy, adult, contemporary R&B. With Stokely on lead vocals (& drums & guitar at times), this band is one that makes you appreciate their talents. They are true musicians and vocalists whose music will stand the test of time.

Loved and enjoyed the entire performance! I hope Mint Condition will return to Macon in 2015.

Was pleasantly surprised at how great they sounded! Stokley Williams' voice hasn't changed a bit. My husband, who isn't really familiar with them, thoroughly enjoyed the fact that they didn't just sing like some 90's R&B groups do, but that they actually played instruments. He called them true musicians. :) My only request would've been for them to keep a little more to the original sound of the songs that made them famous. A nice touch was that they played a couple of old school Rick James and Zapp songs to get the crowd going which was nice.

As usual, I was not disappointed in the show that Mint Condition put on Friday night at the Union County PAC. The event started relatively on time. I had amazing, front row seats and aside from a little mix up from one of the announcers and a loud, talkative fan behind me, it was a great time, overall.

Mint Condition is by far my favorite band. They play on time, doing a plethora of their hits .Always a pleasure from beginning to end.

The best show I have ever been to hands down!! I even got to meet the band after the show and took pictures with Stokely. Best night I have had in long time. Can't wait to see them again.

I was pleasantly surprised how good Mint Condition is live. I felt like I was at a rock, R&B, blue, and hip hop concert rolled up in one. All of the members of the band were all good. It was one of those concerts that I did not want to leave.

They are like the live bands from back in the day ie Cameo, Barkays. We could have been there all night.

Awwwww man! Mint Condition was AWE-SOOOOMMME-NESSSS! They performed non stop, Stokely did a drum solo, the band played their butts off! I was "Swingin", I had "Pretty Brown Eyes", I was on a "Rollercoaster"! Of course those are some of their more notable singles; BUT, they did it all! They came back out for a three-song encore...WHO DOES THAT! It was my pleasure to be a part of Mint Condition's jam season on 10/13/2013.

Mint condition is the last of the great bands, sure another will pop up one day. BUT.. not of this caliber. They are the modern day earth wind and fire. I make sure to see this group every time they play ny. If you've never been to a mint condition show. .. Go immediately. . you will not be disappointed

Mint Condition the best group ever....a group that deserves great honor because of the tiredless dedication to music and fans...always consistent in everything they do and this group should come to Baton Rouge on a regular....the concert was amazing, so much talent within one band a band that still has the original band members....I would pay to see Mint Condition again.....

One of the most electrifying bands in the business!

This was my first time seeing them in concert and as much as I would enjoy singing along to some of my favorites from them, it was tripled at this concert! They were engaging and, simply amazing. The vocals, intramentals, the stage presence, all worth the ticket! My only disappointment is with the venue. They are not doing enough to make sure attendees are taking their proper seats so, it leaves other attendees the awkwardness of removing someone from their seat(s).

I love Mint Condition and they didn't let me know at all! This concert was at the Birchmere which was a very intimate setting and I was able to look them in the face and smile at each and every one of them! They rocked it!! I loved every minute. They hit all the crowd favs!! Jeff rocked it on the sax! O'dell was rocking out the guitar. I mean what I can say... They guys wrecked it... What I especially loved was after the concert I was able to purchase an autographed NEW CD for $15.00!!! Loved that! Seeing I was kinda bummed I didn't bring my cd's with me to be autographed!! At the end of the show O'dell came out and took pics with me and other fans... I wish the other guys would have come out as well... That was the only downer...

There is nothing like live music with actual instruments, guitar, drums, keyboard...etc. The concert was amazing from beginning to end! Lots of croud interaction, great singing, and the drum battle between the lead singer and the drummer was GREAT! They covered it all! From the old goodies to the songs from their latest CD. I absolutely recommend that EVERYONE see Mint Condition in concert. I intend to see them again.

This group is absolutely amazing. I've been a fan for a very long time but there talent hasn't diminished. Stokley sounds even better live and all of the guys are so talented with their instruments. I'm so happy that I got to experience them live.

My 17 year old daughter was dying to see all three acts and she knew every song!! She said this concert was one of the greatest concerts she's ever been too!

This show was fantastic! the atmosphere was great, the sound was incredible , but most of all it was too short of a show.

I have been trying to see Mint Condition for the past 15 yrs. The opportunity finally came back around instead of seeing them in Louisville last month with other great acts such as Keith Sweat, Kci and Jojo and Ginuwine, I chose to see them in Cincy where they would be the focal act. I drove 1.5 hrs in the pouring rain, soaking wet. Waited hrs for them to hit the stage due to weather related issues. I was not deterred, with my standing room only ticket. Next thing I know divine intervention stepped in. A young lady approached me stating that the band had left her 2 tix at the door. Then come to find out they were vip, so we were able to get on the side of the stage right next to the band. I've always thought LW was so handsome and there he was just two feet away I couldn't help but to sneak a pic. The guys were awesome and I definitely will be out to see them again. Stokely showed out and that voice was so smooth.

The show was HOT !!! BB Kings has great service & the food was delish , awesome , my compliments to the chef !!!

Mint Condition has always been in my top 3 groups of all time! The show was energetic, Hot & Sexy!! The ONLY issue I had which had NOTHING to do with the performance is the seating issues at BB KINGS NYC!! WE HAD TO STAND FOR THE WHOLE SHOW!! Hopefully in the future more seating will be available, especially if you wear 4 inch heels!!
