This game was the last regular season home game. It was also fan appreciation day. Rapid City scored first, and Denver kept up. Regulation ended at 3-3. It was still tied after an OT period and a five round shoot out. After an extended, sudden death shoot out, Rapid City scored and took the win. Great game to watch!

Had a great time, love the atmosphere at The Demver Coliseum. Would rather watch a game there than the over the top Pepsi Center no matter who is on the ice. Wooden seats are underrated!

My family had a great time at the game! The merchandise and concessions were not ridiculous and the seats were amazing! Great game too! So much fun and can't wait to do it again!

Game was exciting. The team did lots to create excitement and fan enjoyment. My 4 year old grandson was enthralled to have a meeting and autograph with mascot Gill. My grandsons loved their free tshirts and their face spray paint.The NHL better watch out we had a grand time for much less!!

Saturday night's game was much better hockey than I expected. Fast, accurate shots, but little defense. That will improve. A little chippy at times and that will improve. The only complaint is the incredible noise from the announcer's and roving microphones as well as the music. Well over 100 decibels, NHRA has nothing on these guys. Bring ear plugs.

With no NHL so far this year, the Denver Cutthroats offer a great alternative for those who love hockey. Sure, they're not pros but, the tix are affordable, parking is free, and the event is VERY family friendly. Had a great time - we'll be back!

Since there is no NHL season so far, CHL will have to do for now. Good hockey game. The Denver Colessium is old but works. Smoke deck is a little crowded. Other than that it was a positive experience and will go again.

Looking for a family night out not killing you on the price of the NHL (when they return) this is not a bad alternative. Not the NHL.... but ok to watch some live hockey. Need to get arena colder. Felt like I was watching a concert not a hockey game. You could tell the ice suffered just after one period.

Loved that I could buy 4 tickets, not pay for parking, and have a great time for way, way less than at NHL prices! Of course, the players aren't as fancy, and the play isn't as finessed, but it was a great way to spend a Friday night!

The game itself was great and could have been played just the same in a college arena. The Denver Coliseum shouldn't be able to charge more than $15 for a ticket anywhere in this stadium. The best seats are above rows 15, due to perspective. The concessions were nothing special but expensive. New healthy or at least better concessions and more beer options would add value to my ticket.

Not being able to see the AVS this year I was needing a hockey fix. My sis and I decided to go to a cutthroats game and had the best time! The game was exciting, the concessions fast, and the entertainment on the jumbo tron and on the ice was delightful!

Loads of action, the gloves were dropped within the first five minutes of the first period, we figured there was some ongoing issues from past games. The Cutthroats were scoring and goaltending was very good. Full house and the crowd was good.

First time attending a CHL game and the Denver Cuthroats. Even my 8 year old thoroughly enjoyed the event. Easy access to the Coliseum. Fun activities for kids. Plenty of snacks and the Family Reel Deal Pkg, gave us each a puck, drink and chilidog! You can;t beat that for the price. WE are hooked!

Eight of us went to the Cutthoats game for the first time. We miss not having NHL hockey so we gave this a try. It was fun, and more than I expected. We all plan to go back once they are in town again. It was hockey, just plain blue collar hockey with fights, scoring, body checks, and the crowd. A lot of fun. We went out and celebrated at a local sports bar just like old times. Great time. Can't believe more people are going. Need to advertise better.

It would be nice to have an alternative choice for vegetarians. I just tried to ask persons at the concession stand if I could have something other than chili-dog. They treated me as a greedy person. Probably, they didn't understand what vegetarians are. Two cups of beer are good alternative if different foods cannot be supplied. The game was good! So, there is no complaint!

I loved seeing the Denver Cutthroat at the Denver Coliseum. Everyone was very nice and helpful, wonderful attitude, great game! We had excellent seats, however the distortion in the glass made it hard to see the other goal. That is the only thing I had an issue with but it did not ruin the fun!

Just like old times, good game . Played good took awhile to score, but they finally got on the board. Wish you would advertise a bit more, felt bad for the players who come out and work hard to entertain the audience, and there was not much of a crowd. With the NHL on strike it would be nice to see the stands a tad fuller for support.

I actually had a great time. The bang for the buck can't be beat. The Cutthroats aren't the NHL, but if they can manage to win some games then maybe they can get more people in the stands. I really hope to see them in the playoffs.

Went to see the cutthroats play the tx brahmas. Came up from the springs. Colorado College hockey at world arena is better hockey, in a better arena, at a better price. Have never been to a Denver university game, but can only imagine it is a better value.

Great night, I had taken my Mom who really likes Hockey. ( She's 88 years young). The seats we had worked good for that game. Need to find out how to purchase seats in the handicapped section for the next time I take her. The only real complaint I have is about the Handicapped Parking being across the street from the main entrance. After the game it was almost impossible to cross the four lane street. They need crossing Guards to help get the Handicapped people across. Had to walk further in order to cross and my Mom was worn out.

My wife and I took our two kids to this event. It was nice because for a family outing it was affordable and entertaining. The parking was free and although we paid more for our tickets to be up close, we found this not to be necessary; the $15 tickets would be just fine. Every seat in the Coliseum has a good view. The Cutthroat mascot was available for photos which the kids loved at no cost. I will always complain at the cost of concessions, cotton candy and snow cones being $5.00 plus... but I understand the need to make money. All and all, this a great team and a great time for anyone.

Great value and great for kids. Very kid centered and good hockey. Not quite NHL but also not NHL pricing. Sat on the glass with my 5 year old, he loved it. There were a few hockey fights, lots of scoring, and overtime and shootout. Event staff is friendly and personable as well.

Wonderful family entertainment. The NHL has better hockey skills, but the Cutthroats are a whole lot more fun. And for what you'd pay for mediocre seats at 5 Avs' games, you can have season tickets to the Fish. We have so much fun, for this last regular season home game, we took the whole family (even creepy Uncle Keith).

I took my son to the game last night, first time at a Cutthroats game, and could not beat it for the money. Great game, great fans, no cursing or drunk fans in our area, lots of families there with kids, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I truely wish we hadn't waited until the last game of the season to go. We will be going to more games next year. Thanks Cutthroats for a fantastic evening!

Good quality hockey. Announcer was a little lame! I would not recommend lower level seats. I spent the extra to sit behind the bench. Worse seats in the house. Can't see 80 percent of the rink. Coming from Minnesota I was impressed by the quality of play. I will go again, just different seatinng

I have always enjoyed hockey games. This was my and my wife's first Cutthroat's game, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Though the crowd didn't get as excited when the team scored as other hockey games I have been to in the past, it was still fun. Just wish there would have been a higher attendance. It is kind of demotivating to see whole sections empty.

The game was awesome but the employees seemed rather un-organized in distributing the kids jerseys. We were among the first 100 people and got shuffled to the very back. We still got jerseys but it was very frustrating.

The good guys lost both games ... but it was fun hockey The Cutthroats played a great game and threw everything they could at the net - kept it exciting to the very last minute. **about our seats: We were there to have fun too - but there is a time to cheer and be loud. So, we moved to some empty seats 2 sections down.

The level of hockey was about what I expected. About college level but without the added enthusiam of the stuents. The arena seemed quite cold. We weren't ready for that. Reminded me of games in Canada where they don't have refridgerated ice, they just open the doors, let the cold in and the ice freezes.

This was the first Denver Cutthroats game that I have been to. I am season ticket holder for the Colorado Eagles, so wanted to check out the new kid on the block. It was a very good game and we won 3-1. The cliental is a bit different than the Eagles have, I'll say that. It was interesting to see how fans react to a past player (Makway). Their hatred toward him was quite evident. I had a good time and being in the Coliseum for the first time in years was fun. I thought they might spruce it up some, but the same old wooden seats were still there and the old style glass for the rink made me think of Old Time Hockey.
