The, show was simply amazing. Enjoyed the cd and meeting her at the end of the show.

The show was remarkable! From the opening act with Timmy B. and performances from Lil Mo and then Raheem Devaughn coming into the audience showing the fans so much love and the talented Chrisette who sang so well.

I liked the way that she walked onto stage! It was very natural and she didn't do anything that would make you think was made up. She seems to be very laid back and comfortable within herself while performing LIVE!

She was amazing....Chrisette sung her heart out and gave us a wonderful show that I will never forget. She sung all my favs and her outfit was the best...I loved them shoes seh was rocking too....OH and the hair was cute!!! She is such an amazing artist...her voice is one of a kind and I love her. Her numba one fan!!!

The concert was excellent once it started. She was running about an hour late but it was well worth the wait. True Talent and a Real Voice, she has it all. The best singer to me since Mary

This young lady has crossed generation lines and is a phenomonal vocalist. Her talent is sure to stand the test of time as a classic, classy sound that is appreciated by older and younger audiences as she has the style that reminds you of the great singers of the past and does a fine imitation of Ella, Billie, Anita Baker and she reminds me of my all time favorite Phylis Hyman.

I am an absolute lover of Chrisette. I listen to her ALL Day Every Day. I was very excited to come see her in concert. My disappointment began when she took about 2 hrs to come on stage. We were at a concert with standing room only....so everyone was anxiouslty waiting there without any explanation as to what was going on. When she finally appears we didnt get as much as an apology, which i think everyone would have been happy with. Just something to show, Im sorry but youre still my fans and I love you. Once she began perfermorning she was AWESOME...OF COARSE! But again, disappointment set in when I feel that the concert was cut short. There were many more songs that could have been sung. I believe the general conscensus for the night was that we were cheated. I came with a large gr oup of people and they echoed the same thoguhts. Again i LOVE LOVE LOVE Chrisette, I just dont know how motivated I would be next time to buy tickets for a show when she is the main performer.

There was a long wait with lots of build for sore feet and anxious anticipation. Once she hit the stage she was great. She did a variety of urban soul songs blended with jazzy scats and poetic license. She sampled lots of old school favorites giving her hits texture & new energy. Most of the performance surprisingly was from her 1st album. The time frame was quite definite and somewhat short. After 10-15 minutes of fierce enticement, Chrisette did a seemingly unplanned last song as fans cheered her back on stage.

This girl can sing her behind off literally! She is definitely the next best thing and a refreshment to R&B music. She is what makes live music an experience and she engages with the audience. She's really down to earth and I would see her again over and over. Definitely worth the 3 hour drive it took us to get there.

My only negative comments about the concert would be that it started late and that I wish she sang more songs. She is an absolute vocal genius. I love her voice and just listening to her CDs doesn't do her justice. True talent and music!

Christette Michele is one of the most talented and underrated artist ever. Her performance was flawless. This was my second time seeing her live and the performance was just as good as the first (summer 08 in Detroit, MI). I wish she would have performed more songs from the new album. I saw her again at the Anthony Hamilton concert in Detroit this year and she was cheated out of stage time but was once again stellar. Highly recommended.

Chrisette was fantastic!! She is really a great performer! The only thing was the long wait for the show to start it was suppose to start at 8pm but didn't start until around 9:30pm and she didn't perform until 10pm which was aggravating to say the least because me and my boyfriend had planned on going to dinner afterwards but by the time we got out it was like 11pm. But overall the show was great!!

Chrisette Michele is an artist unlike any other out there today. Her sound is very original and she writes most of her own material. I would definitely buy tickets to see her in concert again.

Besides being late and having holes on the back of her pants the performance was great. Can't wait to she her live again!

Chrisette Michele's perfromance was absolutely amazing! She certainly has talent beyond her years! 5 Stars for Chrisette The venue was not great- the balcony seats are too far up (steep); therefore, you look down on the stage. And, depending on where you are seated, there were times during the performance that you were not able to see Chrisette because of an obstructed view. 2 Stars for the venue

I really like Chrisette Michele music; however I did not like waiting 2 hours to see her. Her show was suppose to start at 8pm and it did not start until 10:05pm. Considering she is a new artist I thought she would have at least apologize for being late. I understand things happen; however I think it was unprofessional to not say I apologize for being late. I also understand that artist like to wait for a crowd to come before they preform. In this case we had the crowd but know Chrisette. Then when she finally came on stage she only performed for 1 hour. To make a long story short; if she is in town performing again I will only see her if she is performing with other artist.

Believe it or not, the praise you read and hear of Chrisette Michele is not just marketing, promotion and/or hype-it's true! Chrisette deliveres a solid performance from beginning to end. Truthfully, even after giving the audience her all, some how Chrisette Michele still managed to leave everyone in attendance begging for more, 15 minutes after her set had closed. And to everyone's pleasant surprise, Chris came back out and left it all on the stage one last time before finally closing a memorable show.

I really love Chrisette's voice and presence during a live performance. However, the concert was supposed to start at 8:00 p.m. and Chrisette didn't hit the stage until 10:00 p.m. and only gave us about 1 hour on stage. Now I have been to plenty of concerts before and understand that the headlining artist doesn't hit the stage right away and usually has someone perform before them. However, with this show one of her backup singers came out around 9:00 p.m. and only did about 2 or 3 songs. This was truly a disappointment for me because I came all the way from the Washington, DC area.

Chrisette Michele's inexcusable attitude outshined her performance by far! I never attended a concert where it was noticeably unorganized. I, as an optimistic person, always give people the benefit of the doubt, but when you re standing in one spot for two hours and thirty minutes (in high hills I might add) you began to question if you can get your money back to go to the spa and get your feet medically treated. If I thought for a second that this statement I am making would be available on Google, I'd write a article instead, entitled What Not to Do As A Performer- The Chrisette Michele NO NO\u2026tisk tisk tisk . I attended this concert based on my own delight in her music and developed a respect for her when she started gaining recognition in the music industry. I even thought that her songs were genuine, but it s amazing how inconsiderate Chrisette was to her audience (One of those- you'd had to be there to know exactly where I'm coming from). Mind you\u2026she only performed for 45 minutes\u2026if that!?...with the crowd saying, \u2018I know she s not ending the show, she must be joking! Unfortunately, listening to her music is unpleasant NOW due to her attitude. I m so glad I m not a die heart fan. What a disappointment! Worst of all, we cheered for over 10 minutes for her to perform one last song for the road and she came out with a Lets Get This Over With facial expression (she's still a good singer, but you can't keep fans that way- especially when fans invest their money in these hard times).

Chrisette Michele definitely sounded like her albums. It is easy to see why people love her (myself included). There were a few things that kind of upset me. The show was late and boy do I mean late. The opening act (one of Chrisette Michele's background singers) did not come to the stage until 9:30 pm. Ms. Michele did not start until 10 pm. While she did most of the songs from her new album, it would have been nice to hear songs from her debut album. The show was over by 11, which I thought was too short.

This lady is amazing..... Every key, every note, every pitch right on the dot.... She loves her fans and expressess that in her shows. This was my 2nd time having the pleasure of seeing her live and both times were DY-NO-MITE!!!! (in my JJ from Good Times voice) Much success!!!

The overall show was amazing, the only problem I had was that the tickets said 8 but the show didn't start till 10. Other than that it was amazing! Chrisette is an AMAZING performer and is definitely the next Anita Baker!

I must say that I was COMPLETELY floored. I was expecting the show to be good, but I wasn't expecting Michele to blow us away like she did. She was very heavy on crowd participation. She taught us all how to scat, then held a scatting contest. Even though most of her songs are ballads, she sped some of them up, danced a little bit and was very entertaining through the entire performance. I would most certainly go again if given the chance.

Everything from the artist to the atmosphere on down to the physical setting was excellent. I had no complaints at all!!!

SHE STARTED OUT FIND. THEN SHE STARTED SING CHURCH SONGS. I HAD SERVICE ALREADY. I DON'T NEED TO BE DRINKING AND LISTEN TO CHURCH SONGS. ME PERSONALLY. I WANTED TO HER MORE OF THE SONGS FROM HER EPIPHANY CD. I THINK SHE SANG 2 SONGS FROM THAT CD. THEN 2 CHURCH SONGS. AND THEN A SONG ABOUT HER DAD. WHICH WAS NICE. AND A SONG FROM HER NEW CD. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. WON'T GO TO SEE HER AGAIN.

Great performance, would love to see her perform again had great seats, I came down the isle on my wedding day to "a couple of forever".

Chrisette Michelle is an amazing artist BUT the concert was not long enough. There were so many amazing songs she didn't sing and everyone was shocked that after one an hour, it was OVER! I don't know if it was her decision or the venue policy but for the cost, it should have been longer.

Her voice is incredible! She mixed it up with a little Etta James, a little opera and a whole lot of her amazing hits.

I saw Chrisette at the Keswick Theatre near Philadelphia. Her voice was undeniable-- she sang strong and just like her albums. However, she seemed rushed to get through the show. She didn't seem to connect with the crowd-- her show partner Raheem Devaughn was awesome-- and it showed! She wasn't a great storyteller although that didn't stop her from blabbing on and on about her on-again/off-again romance with her fiancé/manager. The theatre seats were cramped and many ticketholders were trying to stand in the aisle and shift about to get comfortable in my section. Her performance was so swift, almost as if she mashed the songs together. She unfortunately had no stage presence. Her MC (Lil Mo) was more entertaining and engaging. I have never missed a concert in my area for this artist but this show will be the last.

My fiance and I were thrilled when we got tickets to see Chrisette Michele in Atlanta in 2016. I had been a fan of hers for years and had only seen her once before as an opening act for Musiq Soulchild in 2007. From the moment she walked on stage I was completely surprised and highly disappointed. She flew through nearly 6 songs within the first 5 minutes. There was hardly any crowd engagement from her, and when there was, it didn't seem genuine. Within the first 15 minutes, my fiance and I were ready to go. And, judging from the looks from other audience members, they were too. Even Lil' Mo had more stage presence as an opening act. She connected with her audience. Then, when we finally felt as though the show was getting better, she sang 2 more songs and it was over. I felt as if I had wasted my money. The whole show felt as if she was just there to collect a check. Fans should never walk away from a show feeling that way. Only her die-hard fans would disagree with me - seeing every one of her performances as amazing. However, those of us who are honest know what a good performance is...and that wasn't it. Talent is one thing, but its another to be genuine and CONNECT with your audience. Again, I will always respect her as an artist, however one show can change a fan's perspective forever. Still like her music, but I must admit, it doesn't feel the same. I would not waste my money.

There was no open act.. The event was only one hour If that. Did not enjoy.

This show only lasted for 1 hour. I was very disappointed. Yeah the songs were nice but it felt like as soon as we got comfortable, it was over.

Chrisette is an amazing singer and her back up singers were good as well...but the sound system was very muffled making it hard to hear... I was seated in the orchestra not very far from the stage. In addition, when she would speak to the crowd in between songs etc...we really couldn't hear anything she said. The band was ok...but again... sound was muffled... lasyly, it started late and lasted bately over an hour

Despite her career move with Politics... This Lady has a voice and gives a wonderful performance....,.She really has been over looked in the entertainment industry!!!! She was well worth it!!!!!!

We enjoyed every moment of the concert. The crowd was swaying and dancing in their seats. Great performance.

I was super excited to see her again however, the show was extremely short. Her set was approximately 50 minutes to a hour long. With no other acts, I thought that really sucked. The show ended while others were out getting drinks thinking that the show would be longer. I'm not sure if it was the casinos call to do a hour show, but someone has got to do better.

TWO HOURS OF Waiting outside in 84* humid New Orleans weather for "sound check" was UNACCEPTABLE. The problem apparently was NOT solved, because the concert had to be restarted. Chrisette, please spend some money on wardrobe. Lil Mo was good. The warm up rapper was not entertaining.

She did an excellent performance!!!! Shes much more beautiful in person and her voice is melodically(yes i made that word up) flawless...I love that her audience was diverse with hipsters from all walks of life....jus shows she cant be boxed in a genre her fans are the world.....and ls st but not least baby girl is snatched....her new weight loss is beautiful for her...shes a butterfly free beautiful wings swinging sharing her soul....I love u chrisette!! Only one complaint which is a venue issue the smoke machine was out of control for some reason it was pointed towards the crowd(directly in our face to be exact) instead of the stage we complained about it all night finally they turned it SLIGHTY towards the stage

Chrisette performed at the Fillmore tonight and she gave one hell of a performance. I so love her. She entertained us..she a gave a damn show tonight. I would recommend anyone who isn't a fan to go to one of her shows..you will be a fan when you leave.

The show had a late start which caused the patiently waiting patrons to become restless. That may have been due to a combination of an eagerness to see Chrisette and the fact that we were all standing for so long. HOWEVER, when the riff princess arrived (without apology) and opened her mouth...oh sweet baby Jesus. The audience went wild. I truly enjoyed the show and would do it again. I will bring my own folding chair and comfy flat shoes next time though. Oh oh oh her opener was good. Jeremy James I think his name was but he wasn't appreciated as he should have been because folks were tired and standing for so long and we just wanted the show (as in Chrisette) to start.

The show was unbelievable!!! I enjoyed every second of the show. Chrisette's performance was spectacular, she gave us a look into her as a person rather than a superstar and that one on one connection means a lot to her fans like myself. I loved that she sung many of my favorites along with gospel, opera, and jazz, that's what you call an artist!!! I will see her again in Mobile at the Neo-Soul concert and I can't wait!!!

Absolutely incredible show I give more than 5 stars. I took my girlfriend because she loves Chrisette and I fell in love her music is amazing and her performance is even more amazing and incredible!!

Great Venue let me just get that out the way . CHHHHRRRIIIISSSSEEETTTTEEE Michelle man WAKE UP if you are a part of the minority sleeping on her .Her voice is the Best out there.Her personality reflected throughout the show .Would travel again to see her performance only regret the show show was not long enough !

The show started with Raheem...the Co-headliner. Raheem's vocals were a 10 and he had lots of energy throughout his preformance. I enjoyed his set although he was overly sexual in my opinion. Chrisette was perfect in her stage presence and vocals were 5 star. It was a night to remember!

The Uptown. was the perfect. intimate setting for Chrisette Michelle and Raheem DeVaughn. They both. put on a class act A's the crowd loved them both.

Everyone's performance was great! Raheem was really freaky. I really looked forward to the jagged edge performance, and I must say I couldn't get enough! I wish they could've performed longer. I am so glad that they are making a comeback! I just wish that the BOB treated the artists better not only did they ignore them but they had a lot of lighting issues and technical problems with the mics. I hope that didn't discourage any of those awesome artists from coming back. They were all beyond excellent performances and I hope they come back, because we will be waiting for more.

The Chrisette Michele concert was an experience of a lifetime! Although the show was sold out it still felt very intimate and personal. I felt like I was the only person in the room because she gave such a vivid account of her personality when she spoke and she sang with such passion and devotion to her craft. Afterwords, she mentioned her audience on Instagram, which was very thoughtful.

We arrived a half hour before the show began. Packed house!! My suggestion is to not bring a heavy coat unless you want to stand in a long line a pay for coat check. The show started on time. Chrisette is beautiful and her voice is amazing!!! She is so talented LIVE. There wasn't any lip synching here!! The show was great. She sang some new stuff (didn't realize she had a mixtape out). She brought out family (female rapper), and a couple of friends (singers). They were cool!! Shout out to the band (my friend adored the one with the mohawk). Great time in NYC. We had standing room only seats, but a great view! Wish we were there earlier to sit and eat. After the show we went elsewhere for food. I love Chrisette Michelle, and really had a great time. Loved the performance, and am wondering how I can get her to sing at my wedding in August in Philly. Please!!

I would always be a fan she has a beautiful voice and a humble person

All the artists were pretty good, even the local opener. Chrisette has some amazing vocal control. Really good show. The Norva could use more seating. This was more of a grown folks show no slam dancing or mosh pits, and seating was very scarce. Other than standing for 3 or 4 hours, we had a good time.

Chrisette Michele is an amazing talent and those talents were definitely on display at the Howard Theatre. The only reason that I did not give her five stars was because I wish she would have sung more songs. Her show was relatively short (maybe 45 minutes). The renovated Howard Theatre is stunning, but don't expect to leave there without dropping some serious coin.

She is such a great performer. I love everything about this woman. So unbelievably beautiful and talented. I would love to meet her face-to-face.

Amazing voice. Every song was great. And her commentary before and after her songs on relationships were so true. By the end of the show, I definitely became a bigger fan. Only negative was one of her back up singers was feeling himself a little too much. Ego wast too big especially given that it was Chrisette's show. But no one could steal her shine, because she was simply beautiful.

I had a fabulous time at the concert. The venue was very intimate and Chrisette was beautiful. This was my first time to see her in concert. I heard rave reviews about the concert she gave in Royal Oak, MI so I wasn't going to miss her this time. She sounded awesome however I was very disappointed in the length of the concert. Out of her three CD's she sang around ten songs. I heard at the RO concert she had an intermission and wardrobe changes. I suppose that was the expectation that I had. Overall, she sounded amazing. I would go see her again!

This was my first time visiting this venue as well as seeing Chrisette Michele live. Both were awesome! This girl can truly SANG! I loved the show!

I missed her at the Tower Theater & again at the Keswick Theater but I refused to miss her the next time she came to Philly. Chrisette Michele sounds unbelievable in person! Wow!! She puts on a great show & her band and backup up singers were excellent. You really can feel her passion for music & her fans and that's why she had the audience & myself in tears one minute & laughing the next. Love, love, love her! Can't wait until her new album this fall...

I was pleasantly surprised by grammy award winner, Chrisette Michele's performance. She was unscripted as was her opening act, Laura Izabor. The songs were all perfect; sounds like the "record" but with genuine passion for the music and essence of each song. The show started on time! I wanted to hear more from Laura and Chrisette. The Regency Ballroom was organized and clean. Although I may not stand for 3 hours to see the next act, I was able to get some great shots for my Facebook being so close to the stage. Great sound quality. An overall wonderful and memorable evening with two upcoming divas.

laura izidor opened for her, she was very good. i had the chance to see her open for maxwell in 09'...laura is great vocally & very beautiful young lady to look@!!!!! .chrisette michele is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! she can entertain vocally & has so much stage presence you cant miss a note that comes out of her mouth...the ladies chops has a unique sound that captures the audience is doesnt let go til the song is OVA!

These ladies are AMAZING. WOW, words can not really say how awesome they are. This is a must see show. I give two thumbs up for whoever decided to put these two Divas on the same show.

She was great. I knew the event was standing room only, so that wasn't an issue. She was amazing, beautiful,engaging and entertaining. Her voice sounds better live than her cd. She is going to be around for a very long time. I can not wait to see her live again.

Chrisette is extremely talented! UNDERSTATEMENT! Some people don't sound as good as what you hear on a recording. This is NOT the case w Chrisette! She got out there, and, as my mother would say "solid-bone sang"! I've seen artists in her genre that either did too much talking or didn't know how to flow, but Chris had a great set & kept it moving, giving us all her hits. I liked that she allowed her BG singer to perform with her, but it was still Chris' show! I gave four stars because the sound quality wasn't good. It was TOO LOUD! You shouldn't have to strain to hear the artist. Part of paying a lot of money to see someone perform, is being able to clearly hear them, not make out what they say. I would see Chrisette again, but hopefully she has a different sound Engineer.

Chrisette Michele is truly a great perform. Her voice is amazing and the live band was a awesome touch!! However I wish the show started on time. I thought it was ridiculous to have the crowd wait for almost an hour and a half as well as have us listen to five tracks repeatedly. Also, Bb kings should not have the crowd wait on line they should have at least had the people who arrived early go inside. Drinks and food was way over priced! Despite these annoying flaws her performance made the wait worth it.

chrisette was in a word a-maaaaay-zing....i don't usually gush over people like this, but the girl is talented...she is one of the rare performers that may actually sound better in person than she does on her records...she gave a thorough set, sang all the songs that touched my heart, and involved the audience without forgetting the reason we were all there--- and that was to hear the girl sing and SANG she did... the girl is bad and gorgeous and her performance was everything---she is definitely my new girl crush :-)...i would highly recommend anyone who is a true fan of r&b to go check the girl out... she is a true r&b queen

The show was totally amazing - Chrisette sang so good and her stage presence and interaction with the crowd was very nice! She has grown so much from the last time I saw her some years ago. The only thing that could be said about the venue was the standing all night long. I think it was too much. Perhaps tables and chairs or just chairs in the middle would have made the performance a lot more tolerable. My friends and I as well as those standing in close proximity all complained about how exhausting it was to have to stand.

Chrisette just does not disappoint. She sang a variety of songs and renditions of popular gospel. I love this woman and that magical powerful voice. Honestly anytime she is in NYC I will be there!

Her ability to sing is an understatement as her vocals is an instrument. While at her show, I kept telling my friend that I have to have her sing at my future wedding. No fee will matter. Amazing artist, musician and singer.

Great artist in the wrong venue. The show was announced at 7:30, started 7:30 with unannounced performer... who was this guy?... he performed for more than half hour. Too much waiting, standing ... Crisette Michele was great !
