Nile

NILE IN CONCERT:When it comes to technicality and brutality, few bands hold a candle to death metal legends Nile. Combining a passion for Ancient Egyptian culture with serious technical chops, the band's creative, history-infused approach to the genre is truly one-of-a-kind. On tour in 2013, Nile treated fans to razor-sharp renditions of tracks like "Supreme Humanism of Megalomania" and "Enduring the Eternal Molestation of Flame,"  setting big expectations for their 2014 shows.BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:Formed in South Carolina in 1993, Nile had already built a substantial regional following by the time their 1998 debut full-length Amongst the Catacombs of Nephren-Ka introduced them to national audiences.

Nile at Blondies blew my mind. They sound just as good live as they do on disc, which I find to be very rare. If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend going to see them.

Nile was incredible!! The sound at the House of Blues sounded perfect and there was plenty of room to get on the floor or stand to the side. We got our drinks with no wait from the bar and Nile's merchant lady was quick and effiecient. She was very Friendly and not rude which was refreshing. I'm so glad I saw them play live they were super cool to the crowd even when someone got onstage, lol! I went after work and it was a great evening! Glad I stepped out and had some fun and now memories of a show I can't ever forget! \\m/

Here are some mindblowing shows I have witnessed in the last few years: ACDC, Metallica, Roger Waters The Wall, Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus/cattle Decapitation/Cerebral Bore, Gojira/Devin Townsend, and Nile. Of all of those, Nile had the best sound and tied Dying Fetus and Gojira in tightness of the performence. In short, they were amazing. They played two hours, and I loved every second of it. Even the songs I wasn't familiar with sounded amazing. Five stars. Incredible show.

This was by far the sickest, most brutal, and most enjoyable concert I have ever attended, by any band! Each band gave it their all, and I even became a fan of a new band (Keep of Kalessin). Nile, in particular, played with every last strand of their metal souls, and put on a truly unforgettable show. I would HIGHLY recommend this event, and any other Nile concert, to any fan of death metal.

Amazing overall experience. Music was great, as well as the individuals playing it! I talked to almost every band member from each band and they were all so appreciative as was I.

They played like gods. Sound was awesome, the pit was insane, and the merchandise for both was top notch. I usually get 1 shirt when I go to metal show and I HAD to get two shirts and an Ex-Deo hoodie this time around!

The whole show was worth the drive from Maryland. The crowd was quiet at first, the second band "Dreaming Dead" said they were sorry to interupt a church service. We found that funny "Dreamind Dead "was really good. The crowd did pick up some energy for the next two bands "Krisun and Imalation" and moshing started. Nile as always delivered real metal.

By far one of my favorite shows I've been to. Dreaming Dead was more than I expected, not to mention the chick was hot. Enemy Reign put on a great performance. Krisiun tore up the stage with songs like Combustion Inferno and Refuse/Resist off their new album Southern Storm. Personally I didn't like Immolation, but they got the crowd really going. Nile destroyed everything. Kept the crowd head-banging and moshing constantly. No one was standing around, not screaming their heads off or battling against each other for a spot in front or just battling in the pit.

This was my first metal concert ever. It will probably be the best one ever too, as Nile (and the other bands who played) but on an unbelieveable show. Seeing Nile is an experience unliek any other, and i reccommend it to any metalhead.

Absolute best concert i've ever been to. The opening acts were great. Except for that crappy deathcore band Total Ruination who got put in place of Abigail Williams cuz the drummer got injured. There's just so much to see and hear. George Kollias's drum kit, Karl Sanders's unusually shaped guitars, the giant mosh pit, and of course all of the music. Buy your tickets. Now.
